Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in McAllen

Great. Waiting time was about 15 minutes. Waiter was excellent. Always very attentive we had every thing we needed.

Awesome place to celebrate a special occasion or just to have a fancy Italian meal.Service was awesome.

This was probably the best customer service that I have had from a restaurant. Our server Roxy B. made us feel special. She was constantly refilling our drinks for my family. Food came out almost immediately. She was constantly with a smile, no attitude or sighs, or complaining. She really enjoyed her job. I highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Roxy (red hair), you wont be disappointed. I even called the major via phone after our experience. My family and I were having a rough week (life), and this one server changed it all in 1 hr of sitting and really enjoying our meal.

I Wouldn’t stop there anymore and waitress was rude her respond was I have three tables. She didn’t bring us drinks, breadsticks , and another thing food was cold and lasagna was horrible. I had to ask a lady there and good thing she was the manager and told another waitress to attend us it was only me and my son how hard could it be .

Ordered my usual main course, Chicken Alfredo, but I chose a berry sangria to drink.

Very clean and very nice set up I wish I had took pictures but was visiting with family. Staff very polite and helpful.

Food was alright, I got a plate with shrimp,onion, peppers. Almost $20 for it . And they put few shrimps . I thought it was too much veggies for the price .. $78.00 for this 😩😩😩😩 not coming back

Good food, services and had a great time. We had the family room. No alcohol this order, was abit busy but this restaurant is busy.

I ordered Chicken Marcela and I remember it having mashed potatoes. I guess well blame covid for the higher price n less food.

Me and my wife went and ate here we had the tour of Italy and it was awesome our server was top notch as well

It’s not a place I’d leave a review for but My Server Melissa really made the night for my family and I. She knew the whole menu by detail, offered great selections and had a beautiful presence. Thank you Melissa for your great customer service!

Amazing service and food. Anatolio and Maggie were great. Our gallon of Togo soup was piping hot and we had all the utensil we needed. Great job! I wish more OG’s had this kind management leadership.

The food wasnt great but it wasnt bad. The bread sticks definitely where not fresh, the servers great attitude and smile made up for this, and brought my experience up.

The Soup Was Awesome as Usual. The Eggplant Parmesan was a little off on this day, it is usually great, today it was just below, Ok.

Food was delicious and service wad good. But they did forget our appetizer so that was a downer but still overall good.

They didnt have n e red crushed peppers. And the waiter Manny sorry but if Im gonna be paying 130 for a family of 4 bring the cheese with u at all times. Dont make us wait 5mins for cheese for salad and our entrees

Its was good and man service was good and he was will fast as bright as are food and tell my mom that they did Margaret so they do her if she want any alse so she did and he was will fast and then we got are main food .

My kids love Olive garden we are new to the area and we usually go to Olive garden about three times a month ever since we moved to the McAllen area we have gone to the Olive garden about five times one time we went the friars were not working they did not offer any substitutes for the fries mind you I ordered five kids meals and none of them had sides we werent told until after the food arrived that there was no fries available and we have been to this establishment about three more times and theyre always out of pizza thats why my kids love to go for the personalized size pizza and theyre always out another time I went they sat me on a round table that picked up the site in order to make it bigger and it wasnt working correctly I kept on falling and my food kept on moving Im falling off the table I had to eat while trying to hold up my plate. One of the managers with colored hair tried to correct the problem but like I said its been several occasions that this Olive garden does not meet the standards as the other Olive gardens in the Rio grande valley .

We got there and the wait time was reasonable. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that I got a text letting me know my tanel was ready, but when I went up to the host she is like that some one will be with you. I was then why did I get a text that my table was ready...As for the food it was great a little pricey but worth it...we even had left overs. The waiter was great attendant

Loved the stuffed cheese shells!

The waiter was charming, she gave us a great service. The food was really good. We had calamari for starters. It was crunchy but soft when chewing it and with the sauce left a salty and sour and sweet after taste. Loved it! As for the alfredo pasta it was great! We had a great time with the cozy yet elegant environment. Thank you.

Took my mother for dinner to celebrate herb72nd birthday. Food and atmosphere was excellent. Server was the best. Very attentive to our needs. We were a large group of people and server still managed to keep every single detail on point. Would rate it a 10 star if I could. 5 for place & food and 5 more for service provided

Incredible service! Honestly Olive Garden’s is a no miss wonder. The food is amazing, so are the serving sizes, but MY GOD with the McAllen location. Our waitress was the sweetest, most attentive, woman ever. Honestly, she was fun, cheery, and essentially a mind reader. She didn’t miss a single issue or detail even before we had thought about it ourselves. Specially outstanding considering it was a night shift, we where easily the last table sat before closing doors, and yet everything was perfect and beyond.

Waitress was amazing in welcoming us. Gave us time to decide on our choices. We ordered the artichoke spinach appetizer, soup and salad, and of course chicken parmigiana. Everything was delicious. Strawberry tea was so so good. We were too full to order dessert. Sorry people, no time for pictures, too busy eating this wonderful lunch. Next time.

Excellent food.! Fettuccine needed salt and pepper but other then that fire.! Breadsticks were so hot, fresh and seasoned perfectly.! Service was on it.! Thank y’all.!

Ive loved this place since I was a child so maybe my review is a little biased, but unlimited Pasta e Fagioli and bread, with a tasty main dish and a Bellini tea to drink is my idea of a nice Sunday with my girlfriend.

Our servers David and Thomas were amazing: so kind and attentive for the whole thing. It was my two nieces first time there and it was an enjoyable experience

Olive Garden… oh how I love dining here! Everything seemed to be normal as I walked in but I didn’t expect what was to come next… After waiting in the lobby for what seemed like a long time, my family and I finally got seated and boy let me tell you it was worth the wait! I’m never one to say that anything is perfect in life but I am willing to make that exception today! Our server was absolutely phenomenal, never once did I think I would find the perfect waiter. As soon as we got seated he immediately greeted us with the greeting of the day and was very well mannered. He was attentive and outgoing, not once did my family and I have to ask him for absolutely anything! It’s seemed as if he was on his A game! Not only that but he was also serving a large party, while serving us. WOW nevertheless I know he exceeded the Olive Garden standards! Fantastic job Alex R. keep up the excellent work!

Best Olive Garden in the Country! This place stays busy most of the time. Excellent customer service, great food and welcoming atmosphere.

I hadnt eaten @ this Olive Garden in over 4 yrs. My Chicken Scampi, salad,, bresdsticks & Raspberry Tea was delicious! Service was excellent!

A large serving of Lasagna, cool, crisp salad (with free refill), Bulini tea… It can’t get much better. But it did! Rosemary A was a wonderful server! She dropped by every few minutes with such a lovely smile and kind manner. What a wonderful meal! I’ll definitely be back.

The first time at this place was ok, the second time was pretty bad. It was my sons birthday and we really regret going there. The service was poor, the waiter seemed stressed out with the many tables he had, management never helped out and we basically got all our food to go. Even a dessert we ordered to celebrate my sons birthday because we never got spoons to eat at the table. The table was never cleaned and we had to eat with the dirty plates around.

Went there early for dinner and was very pleased the place is very clean and attentive the food arrived hot and fresh the waitstaff was very attentive I got the tour of Italy and the minestrone soup which never dissaponts

What I can say about olive garden that hasnt been said before. The food good and fattening.. lol . Its my son favorite restaurant. So we came for his birthday. The staff was great overall.. They did great job serving are big party.

Wait time was fast on a Friday noon time. Food was warm and as ordered. Waiter was friendly and the ambience was pretty chill.

The food is okay. The staff is pretty friendly. When you go to Italian restaurants up north, you start to get sad when you realize that you actually once thought that the OG was excellent Italian food.

I always order the same plate the stuffed chicken marsala it is my favorite dish. I just tried the berry sangria and is so delicious as well. staff is very friendly and accommodate you at the request that we might have.
