Balti city was the original capital of Moldova before Kisihinev. Oliva is a Superb venue for lunch or dinner. Wide collection of wine. Salmon grilled on skewers was very tasty. So was the soup. Impressive interior but low on staff. Only a few serving many. But a must go place

Nice, pleasant restaurant with a wonderful cuisine. The meat dishes are very tasteful, tried the "green egg" category, that is baked and is very savory and soft. The meat does not loose its juice and flavor. They have interesting combinations and the coconut coffee is amazing. Would visit again anytime. You better book it in advance if it is a holiday, because the place is crowded. PS: each time we have been there, the server and the service was at a high level. I wish you "Poftă bună!", which means Bon appetite in Romanian :)
