Very nice place to meet up with friends, price is a bit high but OK.

Besides a good selection of excellent wines and rums, Alain and his team are great hosts and chefs.The foie gras was delicious, the lamb chops were the tenderest i have ever had.

Pass through, walk close, and then enter in due to its special outdoor decorations. This is a Rum bar with a variety of rum you could pick and some beers. There is no main dishes in this restro, but they offer some tapas which is tasty and flavorful. Although it has a minimum cost of 500 per person, I still pretty recommend to give it a try to the rum with the shrimps as a side dish. I will come here next time to have a chill night.

Very good food and attentive service. I recommend the John Dory fish and clams in white wine sauce. I guess the rum is good, if you know your rum. Nice interior/atmosphere as well. Ill definitely be back.Finally made it back! Still have the great service, but no more of those good cocktails! Missing the marinated seafood dishes too - John Dory and clams in white wine sauce. Method to check current food choices would be great.

Rum and alcohol choices are so many, while I suggest to provide more tapas selection.

Well. This is one heck of a rum place. The staff there are friendly and will point you to the right flavor of rum that you want. The bite sized food is good to go with the drinks.Do bear mind that they are not a cocktail place but more of a straight rum place so… are you brave enough ?

I had a fantastic experience here in what is most likely the best Tapas bar in Taipei. The Tapas are very sophisticated and made only with the best ingredients carefully selected by chef Alain. The foie gras with sugar cane sauce is a bomb! The Tapas selection will pair perfectly with the insanely wide selection of premium imported Rum. Ill be back for sure.

Waitress came over and asked if everything was ok. Mentioned that they had a complaint about the freshness of their food. We echoed that the Octopus tapas is really fishy. Nothing was done to rectify the complaint. I was at one point a fan of this joint. Disappointed.

Wow. Jamon, tapas, rioja. You could be in Spain, except for the steep prices. But hey its worth it. How about some pulpo Gallicia?

This restaurant is a 4.5 star instead of a 5. But if I have to round, I would round up. Fantastic experience with the chef and waitresses. The quality of food is great but combination of few of the spices are something I dont agree with or something I have to eat some more to understand. The rum and beer is definitely a big big plus. I will definitely revisit this restaurant again. Ole~

This is by far the best Tapas bar in Taipei. They serve only high quality products, and all small dishes are done with a great attention to details. Their collection of rums is very impressive, as they import rare rums from all over the globe. I didnt know there could be such a high variety of taste with rum!! It has now become one of my 2-3 favorite places in Taipei, both for a relaxing time with friends but also for a nice professional conversation in a relaxed environment. Additional bonus is that they serve food late in the evening.

Rhum BarGreat place with a vast selection of rhum. The owner is quite friendly and has a lot of knowledge regarding his products.It is actually possible to purchase the rhum bottles from the bar.Highly recommend the "Ti punch".

Unfortunately my experience in this place was not big, but enough. Today my wife gave a birth to my first child in Zhongshan hospital nearby. I’ve been staying the whole day there, and was asked to grab something outside. This place was the first cozy looking Tapas restaurant I see on my way to Taipei 101 tonight... and as soon as I was ready to order some tapas here, the waitress informed me that minimum alcohol drinking charge is 1000 NTD. I have tried to ask for tapas only, but was refused by these foreign gentleman there since you should pay 1000 min for drinks only! But what if I came for Tapas? It’s really very often when I can meet so disrespectful attitude in Taiwan. And it’s shame that it’s during New Year eve and this great today. I would suggest to avoid visiting place with so much disrespect to ethics and human attitude from people working inside and review rule of spending at drinks for people who simply don’t want or don’t drink, and coming to Tapas bar for tapas...

Needles to say. The best tapa place one can find in Taipei. Every time here is a joy ;the foie gras and lobster are must try!

Tapas are great! The mussels were so fat and juicy. Fig bread is imported from France. Lots of rum to choose from. I am not too familiar with rum but the waitress was very patient and allowed me to taste test multiple varieties. We spent around 6000 ntd for 3 people for tapas and drinks.

For the money you pay you get in return excellent food, friendly service and a relaxing environment which can get pretty busy and a bit noisy later at night. We seniors had a great time

Amazing food, among the best I have had (in Taiwan or elsewhere), the tapas menu changes every time and has yet to disappoint. Also, unequivocally the best rum experience in Taiwan, I find new favorites every time. Great place, highly recommend.

Hard to find a right Tapas bar in Taipei and this is the right place. The food is even better than those Tapas I have been in Shanghai and Tokyo.

This place is slightly out the way but so worth it once you get there! It’s authentic and the staff are brilliant and so knowledgeable! If you love rum this is the place in Taipei for you!

Tapas and rum way beyond my expectation. We came in this place expecting to have a few tapas for dinner, but was totally blown away by the quality of food and the friendly vibe. Each dish is made from the most fresh ingredient, and the rum selection is rare. Very friendly chef and staff with great service. Will definitely hit this place again, soon.

This is a little gem of a restaurant / bar tucked away in a little alley off Anhe Road. A friend of mine brought me here the first time telling me that it was his favorite watering hole in Taipei. I now understand why. Ole is great because it embodies everything that I like about Taipei. The owners care about everything - the drinks, the food, how you are doing. Both times I went there I met Alain and his wife. They treat you like an old friend and you end up wanting to go back again and again.If you want a neighborhoold bar with a unique international flair, go to Ole and look for Alain or his wife. I guarentee youll be back again. Ive only gone for drinks but after seeing their Tapas menu will be going back for dinner.

Spanish style food with local ingredients. Excellent flavors. Dishes are small and reasonably priced so try just about everything. Rotating menu of fresh ingredients make it hard to recommend anything in particular, e.g. the pic is of octopus with local sweet potatoes. Look at the board for todays choice. Chef is extremely friendly.
