Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub in Jonesboro

Randomly found this place tonight & I am amazed! First, our waitress was absolutely the sweetest, we loved her! Second, I’m not sure who makes the drinks around there but they are my new best friend! 10/10. & lastly, that roast was ahhhhmazing!!! The restaurant is so cool & I love the atmosphere & how each table is by itself. We sat right in front of the door and we loved our little booth. We will definitely be back again.

You cant beat the atmosphere at Old Blind Dog. The rotating taps never disappoint, and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Fish and chips is a good-to. The fried pickles are a surprising highlight on this Irish pub menu. Beer cheese and pretzel bread are phenomenal, and the Guinness onion soup is not to be missed.

We haven’t been here in a while, but our experience was great coming back. Food was great but our server was THE BEST! DJ Wilson was such a great server. Can not say enough good things about him. We had 8 people in our group. After some of the negative reviews, we were hesitant to come back, but wanted to try it one more time. We are so glad we did. We will come back for sure.

Good beers but pathetic customer service. If u seat at the bar then everything might be ok. You will not get good service at the table. Servers are slow and don’t care about customers. Servers have nasty attitude if u show up couple of hours before their closing time.

The waiters are just absolutely terrible people. Management as whole encourages bad people skills and goes as far as not sending waiters to ones table. There are many great places around crabapple, but this one is just an absolute bad service olde blind dog!!!

Been here many times and always enjoyed food and staff. However, this evening with my family was a bust due to the rude waitress and the poor service we received. After waiting almost 35 minutes for our food and everyone with empty glasses, my usual meal of corned beef and cabbage arrived dry and cold. It had obviously been sitting in the kitchen for some time. After explaining that my meal was cold/dry and not up to usual standards, our waitress Nicole asked if I wanted her to microwave my meal. What??? You’re asking if I want a $22 meal with meat that’s already dry microwaved? Since everyone had almost finished their meals, I kindly asked for something which wouldn’t take too long to prepare. She glared at me and and said Shepard’s pie. I agreed and she abruptly walked away without saying anything else. 20 minutes later (without asking if anyone else needed anythingshe brought my Shepard’s pie and walked away. My wife had to call her back over to order more beers for the table.The Shepard’s pie was delicious as was everyone else’s meal, but the poor service put a damper on the mood at our table. I’ve eaten here probably 20 times over the past 2 years and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Nicole needs to find another line of work or get some customer service training.

Had a beautifully crispy fish sandwich and the most delicious side veggies! My only regret is not getting a photo of the perfectly golden fish. Lovely atmosphere and great waitress.

Great food but the service was really where it was at. Our server- Evan was very nice and took very good care of us. We will definitely be back

Started coming to this place a long time ago when it first opened. Since then things have kind of gone down in the terms of the food quality.Went there the other day had the meatloaf the gravy was Wayover peppered. The wings were just OK. Salad was small.I got here again? Probably not

Such a shame that this establishment is the scraps leftover from the Brookhaven location closing. This may be the original and "successful" store, but it will never be what the Brookhaven location was. RIP. Since the removal of the scotch eggs it was all downhill from there. You want better Irish food? Buy a box of Lucky Charms from Walmart.

The Olde Blind Dog is the quintessential neighborhood Irish pub. Its food is your standard pub faire combined with a honest helping if traditional Irish pub food.The food has with 1 exception come out hot and tasty. Although nothing has absolutely blown me away, nothing has ever been bad and that in my opinion is more important.The service staff while young is prompt and reliable. Its always a good standby restaurant that nobody would take exception to.In short, a workhorse of a restaurant that will hit the spot every time.4/5*Recent experience has forced me to have a revised review, my rating of this establishment is changing to a 3 star restaurant.

Weve tried dining here twice and the wait for food is quite long. Ordered a quesadilla and received half of one for $12.50. Portions could be better for the majorly inflated pricing. :/

Very disappointing fish and chips 7.13.22 lunch today with a party of 3. No garnishments added. 1 piece of Fish hot but have had better but luke warm french fries. Had to locate server ..he returned 15 minutes later with hot fries but we had already finished our 1 piece of fish. Advised it was friends bday but they never served a complimentary dessert. Poor service , disappointing food. Will not return.

Just WOW WOW WOW! Amazing setting with good food. Never been here but will be back when in the area again. Very cool place.

One of our favorite places to eat!!! The atmosphere is GREAT, everything we’ve eaten here is delicious and the servers are fantastic! Do yourself a favor and give it a try! We love it!!!

The service was terrible and food left something to be desired. It was our 3rd visit and matched the last 2 experiences. we now understand why they are never busy when we go. “Piled high” with bacon blt in pic.

We enjoyed our dinner visiting this place which is located in crab apple. Good food and familiar Irish decor.

Our server Evan was great, but everything else was not. Our first visit was not a good one, but we gave them a second chance. We thought the first visit may had been a fluke, Sometimes restaurants have off days. We noticed the beer taps/lines are not clean, due to the off taste of the beer. We changed to a Hendrick’s and tonic, and don’t think they gave us the gin we requested. The bar was understaffed for a Sunday, causing long waits for drinks. The food came out cold, so it obviously sat in the window a while. The fries were the only thing hot, so my guess is the food sat while waiting on fries. The manager never came over after all this. We won’t be returning, which is sad. It’s a cool looking place, but looks can be deceiving.

Interior furnishings look as if the were conjured up from a leprechaun who was homesick.Dont miss this place like I have for years. Wonderful decor.The food is of course majically delicious and plenty of brews to choose from.

Don’t support this terrible company - they closed their Brookhaven location without giving their employees any warning or compensation. The owner is a millionaire ex-CEO with no regard for the people who worked for years to maintain his business and the general manager of the locations, Erin, did not even so much as thank the employees for their hard work, check up on them to see how they are doing or offer any sort of support aside from lying to them about the restaurant closing. Do not support this terrible company - they don’t care about their employees or their community. Never support companies that treat people like trash. What a shame!

This place has such great atmosphere. U love it! And the food hasnt disappointed either. Steak sandwich delish! And their appetizers are also so good. Reuben egg roll and cheese/pretzels. Yum!!

Good place with a decent pub food selection! Used to be fantastic, but the past 2 times the burgers have been a bit undercooked (by a bit, I mean quite a bit), and the fries cold. Hopefully its just staffing issues, and will turn back around! Great place overall! Good atmosphere, and just a really neat place. Great food when on their a game (would get 5 stars minus the last 2 experiences).

Had a great time watching a soccer game with the family!Service was excellent which was a pleasant surprise and they had a nice beer selection. Food (brunchwas great! Will surely be back!They are setup like an Irish pub with such cool booths and areas throughout the restaurant.

Great atmosphere! The food and drinks were reasonably priced. Lots to choose from. Our waiter was Evan. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions.

Good place for a pint. Pot roast was tasty, as was the blackened chicken. French onion soup was great, but wouldnt recommend the clam chowder.

I ordered fish and chips, Galway Steak Sandwich, Kildare Salmon BLT , burger and Shepherd’s Pie.Definitely recommend fish and chips!Steak sandwich is also very flavorful and cheese but I recommend change your fries with tater tots. I would not recommend burger because it was very dry.The server was nice but it took kind of long time to have our food even though it was not busy hour. The restaurant is located in the middle of Milton city hall so you can walk around and enjoyed the nice weather.

Stopped in after my daughters track meet at the local HS. Staff was extremely accommodating allowing to switch seats to watch the FA Cup Final. Food was really good too.

Had a really great experience last night. It was very busy, service was very quick but efficient. The Reuben sandwich was the best I have had in a long time, yes every restaurant that has one says theirs is the best. I will say, try this one. Premium corned beef piled thick. Had a very nice conversation with Danny, the manager, who was circulating on the floor checking with his customer, and checked with me twice. Was very impressed with the atmosphere, food quality and service. Will definitely be returning

Last night was so fun! Great atmosphere, food, and band. To the owner: your bartenders working last night (3/17/2022deserve a RAISE. A bartender had walked out on the job, leaving the 2 men and young lady behind the bar absolutely spinning.They did their very best to get drinks to a huge crowd of St. Pattys partiers as fast as they could, pivoting and serving parties 2 at a time, making suggestions and doing anything they could to move as fast as humanly possible - all while maintaining a pleasant attitude.There was no cover charge, but I suggest you charge $3 next time & use that money to hire more bartenders and give a bonus to the ones you have.

Such a unique little pub. The food is so good here and the staff is even better. Our server helped me find a beer I loved and gladly took back the first drink I didnt like. Had an amazing experience and will definitely be back. Only complaint is its very dark outside at night and very dim lit inside. Kind of makes you feel unsafe to walk through the lot outside at night with no light.

Irish pubs in the US can sometimes be a little generic or overly top-o-the-mornin--to--ya. This place is both unique and sincere.Tables are arranged in neat little snugs, providing a nice level of privacy.The food is great and reasonably accurate (although thin cut fries with fish and chips is a little heretical).The drink selection is good. Ive seen wider beer selections at other Irish pubs, but this one was pretty decent.Service was great although (and this is my only nitpickwe did end up feeling a little rushed out after we finished even though it was a Wednesday and they werent very busy.

All I can really say is that this place is spectacular. The amazing architectural design and authentic European antique furnishings for this Irish pub were gorgeous. The food was also delicious. The waiter and manager were very nice and enjoyed sharing interesting things about this beautiful Irish pub. 🍺 🍺 🍀 🇮🇪

The decor here is second to none. The staff is friendly and does a great job checking in but not hovering. The food here is really exquisite and delicious. I am not sure anything on the menu is bad. I really enjoy eating here and it is an experience in itself.

Enjoyed a tasty dinner here the week before Christmas. The decor is awesome - love the traditional Irish pub ambiance, antiqued ceiling and windows. Service was responsive and friendly and the food and drinks were good but frankly, most you could make at home if you know your way around a kitchen.What was exceptional? The Reuben egg rolls were fantastic and the fish and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had - plump and tender, perfectly crispy fried and battered fish.Sandwich prices were on point but the entrees were way overpriced. #Milton, amiright?I’d go back for the fish and chips and those Reuben egg rolls, but just for a special occasion. Until then, I’ll make my shepherds pie and pot roast at home!

When looking for an Irish Pub, this is the place. The food is delicious. I had the Fish & Chips and my wife enjoyed the Shepards Pie. Andre our server took great care of us. Looking forward to our next visit. Also good selection of craft beers 🍻.

Went to Olde Blind Dog after the football game for a pickup order. No one was at the front so I had to search for my food. My food was located. This is cheers bar type of restaurant with a ton of locals

Absolutely the most genuine Irish Pub Ive been to so far in the US, well at least from Georgia all the way to Texas. Well worth the extra dollars, the flavor is right on point everything is genuine absolutely excellent food

Best pub in North Georgia, hands down. The ambiance, service and food are amazing. My apologies to other pubs we have visited, but this is our permanent favorite now.

Very tasty! The fish & chips were spot on, even though they skimped on the fries. Try the Flying Chicken "OBD Style" to have them cooked extra crispy. One star removed due to being overpriced for a small portion. But, hey, good quality aint cheap!

Great place and location! The atmosphere of Olde Blind Dog is super unique and exciting, and the food is just as great! I highly recommend building your own burger- don’t forget the bacon!

This place gets better and better each every time we come. Our server tonight was Tilly, and oh goodness was she not the cutes, most knowledgeable server we have ever had here.We ordered the Ruben Egg Rolls, Onion soup, old dog salad, fish and chips, and the Shepards Pie.Everything was awesome, but the pie was a bit oily for my taste.Great atmosphere and good service!

Absolutely awesome is one of the only words I can describe for this restaurant, it is the number one voted Irish pub in the United States, all the furnishings and everything inside this restaurant is authentic and from the country of Ireland brought back piece by piece and built as in authentic Irish pub here in Milton, Its one of the most popular places in the city of Milton, I usually have a spectacular saint Patricks Day festival in and around the restaurant and they have a car show that they started last year the third Sunday of every month which features some of the best examples of automobiles through different decades that Ive ever seen, the staff is excellent, the food is first class and the owner, is an all-around wonderful man that gives back to his community as much as he can, of all the Irish pubs in the Atlanta area to go to, if you havent been here youve got to stop in and have some bangers and mash, probably the best Ive ever had It truly is a great place.

The wings and queso dip were perfect. Pineapple habanero and Guinness BBQ wings paired well with the pretzel bread cheeses dip. Beer was cold. Chris the waiter was perfect, all the way up to his Covid 19 mask, thanks! And the bread pudding was the best Ive had. This is a quintecintal Irish pub in America! And the decor/ ambiance was nice too.

Looking for a place with character and atmosphere? Found it! Great selection of Irish and British cuisine like bangers and mashed, shepherds pie, as well as creative twists on otherwise regular sandwiches. But nothing is just regular here. Delicious food and portions are also good size. Along with a variety of beers on tap, thay make a great bloody Mary. Looking forward to next time and eventually trying everything on the menu.

Unexpectedly delightful authentic looking Irish pub in an otherwise unassuming shopping and office building. Great service and good food after a looong wait on St Patricks day. The patio is loud and not as fun from s decor perspective, but after 3 whiskey drinks who really cares?Food was great and my Irish wife was happy to be among her people on their special day.

I was given the name of Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub as a recommendation and boy am I glad I went. Jonathon was our waiter and was fantastic. He was great with my daughter and recommend a fantastic beer and a great menu item for lunch. I would highly recommend this place and I am planning a guys night out here soon! Very much enjoyed this place. Get Irish and Scottish style bar food like Scotch Eggs and Homemade chips.We had nice but slow service.Food was above average but the coolest thing is the ambience. You should eat here just to experience one time. I really feel that better servers could vastly complete the Irish experience.
