Old town brewery in Skopje

Had an IPA here - wasnt that impressed but maybe I should feel blessed to actually get an attempt at IPA in Skopje?Decent enough venue, but I didnt go back.

The Pilsner and the IPA basically taste the same and are both very watery. Not impressed at all. Would not bother with this place.

Not being hyperbolic, the worst beer I’ve ever tasted. Nice spot to sit though.

Their own craft beer is great!

Nice place for a cool beer after walking down from the fortress. However, the food platter was rather disappointing and the music volume and quality after 9 PM was horrendous. They should really upgrade their speakers if they intend on blasting music through the city. The choice of music was good though.

Their IPA & Pilsner brews taste not good according to my opinion (watery). 2 stars for the kind staff, place is allright but beers are far below level. Skopsko India Pale Lager taste better, sorry to say.

Was walking to the Kale fortress... Stopped at the bar for a beer and - you know the rest (I ended up waking back down the hill, eating Turkish food, and leaving it for another day haha).Nice ambience, lots of tables.

The service was slow and the cesar sallad was soft and had a lot of dark spots on it and a weird sauce instead of proper parmesan. Nice view.

What a great bar! It’s got some brilliant music adding to the nice atmosphere, there’s loads of seating both in the sun and shade, the staff are friendly and the prices great - what’s more to want! The central water feature is a nice touch and makes the space a little more unique and all of the table are large and clean. Food is offered, and by using the QR code on the table you can see a picture of each dish before ordering. It ended being one of my favourite bars and place to relax in the city and I can’t wait to return.

Tasty and light Pilsener has been mastered in this old brewery! Dont miss it!

We waited for our food for around an hour, and we were only 3 people. If you want good food I wouldnt recommend this place, there are much better restaurants in town. I asked for chips zucchini, and they just brought me fried zucchini which were so greasy that I couldnt eat them because oil was dripping from them. I think their business model is for tourists that will come once while in town and never again. The only good thing is the location in the old Bazar.

Great beer, good food and friendly service. Recommend if youre looking for somewhere to have a beer and while away an hour or two.

Premium quality crafted beers. The staff were kind. The prices was the best. And everything taste good!

A fine brewery in the heart of the old town of Skopje. Good place to go as a beer enthousiast!

We came here for beers - its a brewery right - at around 18.30. We sat on the terrace, asked if we could see the beer menu and were sent off to the neighbours ( a winebarto order a beer there. Without any explanation or excuse. Really strange experience and no good service. We were lucky to find another craft brewery on the main square where they actually did serve beer.

Excellent selection of beers on tap including porter. 150 for a pint. Ordered the ribs and salad. Was solid but the ribs had no sauce. Service could be improved.

Great location in the old town. They have some great craft beers here to try. Perfect location to stop once you have explored the old town.

Nice place to have a beer in the late evening. We paid 610 denar for three 0.5 glasses of really good IPA beer and one 0.33 bottle of Porter. Free nuts included. Stuff was good.

I higly recommend ordering a tasting of their local beers. The food is good and the staff also. The brewery is at the begining of old bazzar.

All the beer needs some develop. We bought a crepes that was dried and tired. Could be better if they give a bit more care.

Good craft beer pub on the edge of old Skopje. Wheat beer in particular was very tasty. Good food options and a great place to rest after wandering through the alleys of the bazaar.

Visited this place twice so far. Always stopping by when traveling through the country from and to Greece and staying the night. They have very tasty bar food, from local to international bar food favourites. One particularly interesting thing on the menu is the zucchini squash chips. Crunchy and naturally sweet. Goes surprisingly well with beer. I recommend the beer samplers if youre not driving afterwards of course :or if you can stay within a sip. At the time writing this review the country has 0.5 per blood ml allowance which really means stop after sipping. But I recommend just staying the night in Skopje because its worth it! The place here has great food choices for kids to and their outside terrace is child friendly. They play good contemporary music. Ive tasted the chicken wings and shopska salad too with the great sirene cheese, the local traditional cheese which blended tastes very well. Ingredients felt very fresh and flavorful on all dishes we had here. Anything vegetable is a great choice in good Skopje restaurants like this or the whole country actually. Blagodaram! (Thank you!)

This brewery has several locations - this one on the north side of the river near the Old Town Bazaar (streets with many old shopsand Kale Fortress (6th century fortress), and another on the south side of the river just off the Stone Bridge (and near the huge central monument of Alexander the Great on horseback). The food and beer are excellent at both locations. Not fancy, but fairly priced and good quality. Try the "wine" platter with cheeses and nuts. The pizza is also very nice (thin crust). They have live music at the southern location on weekends at 10 pm and free WiFi.That said, they ran out of Weiss beer the week we were there and they allow smoking inside the glass shelter at the southern location and outside at the Old Town location. The smoking is a huge turn off for many foreigners (like Americanswho are used to no smoking anywhere at a restaurant.Will return again and hope they do something about smoking and increase beer production.

They have good beers made on site. Pilsner, IPA, porter and weise beer. Nice facilities as well.

Quite an atmospheric place, IPA was good, Weiss was not. But smell, it smells like homeless place with not washed bodies. We did not manage to stay here for more than 10 minutes, and we stay here at all only because this place was recommended as the best beer place in Skopje.

The brewery has all changes to be cood place, but the atmosphere was really restless. Lots of drunk people who were between customers and between waiters. The music ranges between really loud or not at all. Beer was mediocre and expensive comparing to local price range.

The first microbrewery in Macedonia. Great beer, a couple of good food options, outdoor seating with live music in the evenings and a little fountain adds a nice calming touch to the place. This place offers a lot to have a great evening.

The best beer place we visited in Skopje. They have a nice selection of Temov craft beer, good pizza and delicious kebap. There was a live music every evening.

Very strange and pushy waiter, asked us for a tip when we were paying. Beer was good but overpriced and the food was pretty grim.
