Great place to sit back and enjoy some good old whiskey especially if you are jet lagged. James is great bartender and a great person to talk to.

Super cool old English basement bar. The history is fun and the service was first rate - thank you James - for making such a delicious Manhattan. I recommend if you want a break from walking - Old Tom’s is a nice place to sit down and relax

Stumbled upon this little hidden gem and what a find . Great history behind old tom . Fantastic selection of drinks and the cheese and meat boards are a must, love the idea that everything is on display . Well worth a visit if your in the area

The most pleasant surprise in London! Came across this gem when we were walking to ST. Pauls Cathedral. I had a hard time choosing which beer to drink, so the kind waiters just offered me a few samples for free. Had a great chat with them and ordered a really nice snack (roast beef).

A favourite place in London. Gotta love the Harry Potter vibe of Leadenhall and to sneak downstairs of this small bar is absolutely fantastic. Great service, good selections of beer and drinks. Don´t forget to try their Scotch Eggs.

Our usual lunchtime strategic haunt. Friendly, good beer and excellent staff. Generally quiet on weekdays at lunch. Its a downstairs, dark bar, so dont expect great views, but its cosy, quiet and civilised. Food options are limited by solid: cheese platter, meat platter, pork pies and scotch eggs. In short, a pig-based diet ;At special times (eg the World Cupthey have a daily tribute scotch egg. Mad. We also hold our annual staff/supplier parties here and are looked after well. Note that these guys also run the ground-floor pub so you can stand outside in Leadenhall Market should you wish.

Surprisingly little known, this cosy pub is hidden beneath Old Toms bar. It can fill up quickly, probably because of its nice selection of drinks, good quality coffee and amazing nibbles (cheese, meat and biscuits you could murder a broker for).
