Old Spanish Bridge in May Pen

River nice and place cool, but the road to get there SMDH... wouldnt even call that road still.Try pray u aint going / coming and another vehicle a fwd.... cause someone will have to reverse LOL... all the way.

One major issue is the lack of bathroom facilities. If youre stush lol you cant go there lol....the bushes are your bathroom. The overall experience was good though.

Hated the fact that I drove from so far and upon reacibg I was told the rhe river was closed but yet I saw a (whitelady came after I did and went into the water without any restrictions.....

Great place to go if you have your own car. Mostly for pictures. You cannot use the swing rope because this is a private property. This is not very where is the private vs public property.

Clean, clear, blue and beautiful water ! Very relaxing environment and mood. Breathtaking backdrop of mountains and of hills covered with towering bamboo groves. Friendly hosts, parking and the options of diving, tubing or swimming. Refreshments nearby. Its a total package 😁 Highly recommend 👍🏽 !!

Great experience! I personally didnt jump but my fiance did... He loved it! There are life jackets if you need it for a fee. And even if you dont jump you can still enjoy the water on the shallow side... Right under the bridge is 15-20 feet!

What a fun time. Wish I had more time to swing. Its a free attraction I did tip the lifeguards who were there. Very cool guys did a few tricks for us. I went early to avoid any crowds as I was on a time crunch. I look forward to visiting again. Nice vibes I can imagine how fun it would be with more people present.

Really beautiful and mystic place, theres a rope you can use to swing and jump in the river from the bridge or from the river sides....amazing water is transparent so clean you can see through it ....just be sure you dont go there after a rainy day or youre gonna find brown water like in the picture

Very good place but you have to be extremely careful in the water if you cant swim.. There are sink holes in it.. no changing room are bathroom on location. So get dress from home..

Went here late afternoon so wasnt too busy. The water was freezing but once you got in it was fine after a little while. Id definitely go back but earlier in the day when the sun is really hot. This would be a good place to have a picnic with the whole family. Theres not much here, bit a few people had drinks Stan, and the Ice cream man was there also

Amazing beautiful place. Road is a bit narrow to drive up to it. A wonderful place to spend the day swimming and relaxing. A small bar to buy drinks. Lots of parking.

The Old Spanish Bridge isnt really a tourist site, its just a bridge on the white river. No admission, no guides no one bothering you. What you do get is a few locals willing to show you the rope swing and where to swing from, so give them a tip. A refreshing, beautiful location on the White River. Its just a little bit further up the road from The Blue Hole. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent setting, only fall back is that the persons using it can be messy, you may come across the occasional plastic cup in an otherwise impeccable river getaway.

Water is crystal clear,no bath room facilities though .currents in the water is strong so beware ,no life guard on duty

The View and the experience is amazing but BEWARE TOURIST there is a local guy there who thinks he owns the bridge and will try to charge you to swim. You do not have to pay this is a public bridge and swimming area.

Beautiful spot in Ocho Rios a must see. Quiet with a few vendors that cook and rent lifejackets. You can jump from the bridge or swing from the Rope over the deep blue hole💙💦🇯🇲. Its about 30 min drive from A1 highway past the White River rafting trips keep right all the way there.

This is simply stunning! The water is pristine. Would love to take my kayak down and see how beautiful it is. I really recommend this spot. A must see.

Beautiful ❤️🇯🇲 River side area.Friendly people in the area. There is a rope swing and you can swing over the water and jump from a few places into the deep blue hole.

It is a really great chill and relaxing spot to go with your family or friends. I went with a group of friends and had a great time. There is the bridge in which you can jump off of, or you a can even swing from it... There is also a smaller deck in which you can dive into the water from.If you are someone who prefers the shallow then here is perfect for you as this river also has a shallow part.One suggestion... Bring water shoes as the stones in the water can be very sharp and rough.

Really nice vibe! Carry your blankets, food and BALLS to swing to swing from the bridge! Free entry... jus walk wid a lil smalls for the people who handle the parking and clean up.

There is no public restroom or changing facilities. Also no formal parking. Water is cold and sooooo very good. The guy that says he takes care of the place is friendly and helpful. Generally clean and life vests are available for rental for persons wishing to jump from the bridge but are unable to swim. Take a cooler and some food and definitely enjoy.

Very beautiful place to chill and I will relax and be with nature. The locals in the area are friendly and wont mind keeping you entertained. You can go swinging into the 17ft deep river, go river tubing, or just sit back and relax and drink a nice cold beer. Be prepared to for breathe taking experience.

Amazing, crystal clear water with a rustic historical back drop. Its great for hanging with friends and getting in tune with nature

It was quite a drive to reach the destination, poor road conditions for part of the journey. However, the beauty and peacefulness of the river superceded the drive. The water was beautiful, the environment clean. Some of the stones in the water are a little sharp so its a good idea to wear something on your feet when u go in the water. U can have a picnic on the grass. There is no admission cost. The venue doesnt have a changing room or bathroom so I had hide behind bushes to change or pee. Some guys from the area are there that can assist u with life jackets and diving in the river which they say some areas are pretty deep up to 18 feet. Overall, it was a good experience.

A wonderful experience and make sure you jump from the rope swing. They have life guard vest if needed and be sure to tip the guy there.

Beautiful spot. Road to get there is a bit beat up and narrow but its worth it. Not many tourists, or people in general. Nice and quiet.

I visited the Spanish bridge river is beyond beautiful. Its breath taking and to swing off the rope is such a great experience... this river is a great place to have picnics & great for cook outs etc...

10000000000% must do whilst in Jamaica. It is off the beaten track (literallybut dont let that put you off. It is well worth it. There isnt particularly a set time for opening as Sangro lives up in the mountains so can see you coming if you are early. We got there at 7.30am there and was greeted and shown how to use the swing. If you are scared like me, to jump from the top of the bridge, Sangro can jump with you or you can do a smaller jump by the side, or swing on the swing. There is no set price to pay, you can just give how much you feel it was worth. And there is a little bar there if you want to have a couple of drinks. I would suggest going early so that you have the entire place to yourself. Amazing experience
