Hideaway Vietnamese restaurant features bowls of pho & classic noodle dishes in a utilitarian space.
Good Food & WONDERFUL Customer Service... been eating Pho here for years and Dave is the best.
Flavorful, friendly, and full of happy customers! Many people return with their friends to share the experience. Best pho around, plus other menu options as well.
Ordered a chicken bahnmi, steamed rice, and steamed veggies. Had complimentary ginger tea mixed with black tea and sweetened. The chicken sandwich went great with the teriyaki that came with the rice. The fresh mix of chicken and veggies had me enjoying each bite. The steamed veggies were crisp and well steamed, bit of soy sauce and it was good to go. The tea plus the atmosphere was a nice relaxing lead up to my meal. The host at the front was cheerful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.
its tasty and so Vietnamese taste I have eatten. Delicious. Hight recommended
Super delicious pho, fast service, and a friendly man in front
Dave is the best. Great food and people behind it.
Clean place with friendly service. I went here with a friend that discovered the place. Unless you know someone, you would never see it or stop in here. Really solid pho and other selections. I don’t get up that way much, but wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again. Give it a shot.
Decent food, but perhaps just a little pricey for what you get. The spring rolls were meh for $3.50 each and the bun was average, but the pho and Bahn mi were fairly tasty.
Pho broth is delicious and probably more importantly, consistent. David remembers my order every time I come in to boot. Great spot for the south center neighborhood.
Legit one of my favorite Pho places. Super friendly owners and ridiculously tasty pho!
Fabulous tasty fresh food! Loved the pho and bahn mi special. Very kind and engaging owner. Fast service. Highly recommend!
The food is always good. The owner is there to make sure his guests are happy. He is wonderful and welcoming.
This is the best pho I’ve had in the entire country. I base my standards of pho off what David and his family serve here. It’s hands down the friendliest, yummiest most authentic place for pho I have ever had. Thank you to the whole Old Saigon family.
#8 large w/ Vietnamese coffee is my Togo. Great food with great service.
My favorite place to eat in tukwila. Been going for years and never had a bad experience
Cant find Pho this good where I live anymore, my favorite reason to visit my inlaws.
Very friendly and absolutely delicious food at a nice price
I always order #8 house special, so far this place has the best soup. I cant eat pho from other places anymore.
Pleasantly surprised with this hole in the wall pho place. Good prices for good food.
Great service!!! Awesome workers! Food was delicious and reasonable price!!
Hidden gem!!! Pho is good. Service is good, clean, quiet environment for business lunches. Closed on Sundays.
Love this place the food was amazingggg!!Service was great from walking in the door to walking out! We were visiting from california and saw this restaurant pop up and decided to try it and we definitely were not disappointed! It was great! Especially when there is great service and food! Gonna come back here again next time we visit!
This place is a hidden gem. We ate here for the first time while shopping in the area. Ordered a Banh Mi with Tofu and vegetables, Chicken Special and Vietnamese Coffee. The Banh Mi is one of the best ones Ive eaten. I was pleasantly surprised the tofu was fresh and not fried. The chicken special in a peanut sauce was very tasty. It was nice that tea and water was self serve. The owner is courteous and engaging. Definitely try this place, you wont be disappointed!
Was in the area for work related business and my coworker took me to this restaurant for lunch. I’ll admit, I never had a Banh Mi sandwich prior. Wow, what a treat! Amazing flavors, fresh ingredients, and juicy meat all packed in a crunchy soft roll. It was a melt in my mouth sandwich I couldn’t stop eating. Also tried their pho on another day and it was amazing! Definitely a gem of a little restaurant that makes good food!
One of my two favorite places for Pho in the area! David is very welcoming and I keep on coming back for more. The pho is delicious as well as spring rolls. I have yet to try their Banh Mi, but Im sure its just as delicious as their other dishes.
Im really picky about pho, specifically how flavorful the broth is on its own because I dont add tons of spicy to my soup. The broth here is standalone fantastic, a lot of savory depth. Im recovering from a cold so I got takeout soup and sandwich and it was sooo amazing. Im used to pho takeout feeling underwhelming but the broth came in a very tall container and there was plenty of chicken and veggies and noodles. Two packets of hoisen sauce and one siracha plus a little cup of house made chili oil made an absolutely outstanding soup. The traditional Vietnamese sandwich was also really good, meat and veggies on a very crispy french roll. I had never had one before but I think Im addicted now! Super friendly staff as well though I did not hang around long.
Was pushed away by the owner who wanted me to order from the menu instead of the sign boards. The menu is full price and a lot of food - and too much food for lunch. When I asked for the menu board small option, he rang up the full size portion, which I did not want. I told him thats not what I ordered and simply walked out. Probably wont return.
These people are awesome, and the Seafood Phở is some of the best Phở Ive ever had, and Ive been to Việt Nam.
Finally got to come back on a Saturday to enjoy their still-delicious rare steak pho. Friendly, fast, five-star service still the same as well - highly recommended!
I havent been back since before pandemic. Theyre always friendly and inviting. They earned the 5 star just with that. Food is very tasty! What they lack in quantity, they more than make up for in quality. The dining area is a bit small but they have what you need and nothing more. The hours are limited so get in during lunch or a little but after.
BEST pho I’ve had. My family and I have been eating pho for the last 25 years- we’ve been to many , very good ones- but nothing compares to this place! My husband told me about it and on our day off I was craving some pho well he told me to drive 45 minutes away! I though he was crazy to want to drive so far away knowing that there’s about 10 near our Home. Well I said OK we drove there and I will never go to a different Pho restaurant again. The broth is so perfectly balanced the meat is tender, The owner is so hospitable and kind and remembers all his customers. It’s sort of feels like you’re coming over to a family members house to eat! But the best of all is the CHILLI OIL that’s the best sauce not only for the soup but for all other things!!!!
Loved it! Got a quick lunch outside after dropping some friends at the airport. The large pho with brisket was hot, had tasty broth, and warmed me right up along with the hot tea to start. The bun with pork was also yummy. My lunch was the best $10 Ive spent in a long time!
I do large orders for my company and would always get sandwiches. I read the reviews for the pho so I decided to get pho for everyone... it was horrible the soup was so sweet, its like they put a bunch of sugar into the soup. I have never had soup like this before, and I had delicious home made pho at my friends parents house. Sandwich is 4 out of 5 stars and the pho is 0 out of 5 stars.
Love this place. The service was awesome. The owner and the waitress were on it. The food came super fast and the pho was delicious. The chili oil that comes with the pho is to die for. You can tell the place is a locals favorite as the owner knows a lot of customers by their first names.
Hmm, shady much? I wanted to try this place out due to all the great reviews and the delicious looking pictures. Since at the time there were no updated menus on Google, I thought I’d call to order and just ask how much a large vs a small would be.But to my surprise, any question I had regarding price or the total, the man would ignore me. As I kept saying “sorry, I’m asking the price of it” he pretends not hear, tell me my order will be ready in awhile and hangs up. ??? If it was purposeful to not answer any questions regarding prices
Amazing food and service, especially the prices and authenticity of the food! I worked across from this place and I was never disappointed with what I had ordered! Very welcoming and friendly. I recommend the spicy chicken, Mongolian beef or some delicious Pho!
I went here for the first time today. It needs to become a tradition before hitting Costco. As far as pho restaurants go, this place is great! The broth is a little on the sweet side but not in a bad way, it was actually very good. I got the number 7 and an egg roll. They did not dissapoint. Fast, friendly service in a clean environment. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other places. I like that they had ice water on tap in the dining room. Good job guys!
Small hidden gem not too far from Westfield Mall. This place is a small restaurant with great menu friendly service and very generous. The pho broth is rich and delicious but if you love spicy food gotta try the chili oil. This is the best pho in the area!!
I remember coming here a couple years ago and I really liked this place. Today was a different story however - the small bowl of pho is VERY small...broth was hot, but extremely sweet to the point where I couldnt taste anything else besides the sweetness. It was the strangest thing ever. I dont think I will return again.
The broth was rich and aromatic. The spices were all there and it was smooth. It is a little sweet, but I prefer that to overly salty. The staff is super nice and generous. Very nice to me and my children.
I’m no expert on Asian cuisine, but my taste buds speak for themselves. The pho was delicious enough on its own, but the service is what made this place spectacular. Complementary tea whilst waiting for the meal, and the man working there treated me less like a customer and more like a friend. He ran us through what was good and the differences between each item we asked about on the menu. The food was very reasonably priced and when I payed in cash he rounded down the price to whole dollars and gave me only bills back. Wonderful experience, definitely going back.
This is probably our favorite place for pho right now. The broth is really flavorful!Ive also tried their other dishes and have very much enjoyed their pork with vermicelli noodles and recently tried their pork chop with rice (and an eggand it was really good!!!
Bahn Mi was fantastic as well as the prawn fried rice! Will be back to try some more dishes. Spice level is just right and house Chile oil is invigorating in its own right. Awesome little place for lunch!
The local favorite. You need to be here early for lunch to beat the crowd. Very nice staff food is always good. Good price for the value too.
Winter hours say they close at 5PM. Have you seen a restaurant that closes at 5?? Anything that closes at 5 are very popular ones so I tried this place. This place also had a 4 1/2 stars the time of visit. We ordered two meat egg rolls and two house special large (little bit of every meatpho. While the eggrolls were very tasty (homemade they sayI was disappointed in the pho broth. It was full of sugar and msg. Pho broth is not supposed to be sweet. Noodles were good but the broth was just bad. I have a pretty high standard when it comes to pho broth because pho bac located in Seattle International district offers it. This place was definitely the opposite of pho bac, full of MSG and sweetened broth. Prices were amazing though; the large bowl was only 10 bucks and small was 7-8. If you are a person who loves sugar in your food, this place could be it but otherwise, I would advise to stay away. I am not the kind of person that I would not come back. The business hour 5 PM closing - hey we are so popular so we don’t even need to open until 9 PM advertisement - was a lie to me.
I come here on my lunch break a few times a month. The pho here is delicious! Never disappoints. Its always pretty busy at lunch time, but I have always had quick and friendly service. The hot chili oil is the best here! So good, I had to buy some to take home with me!
Hidden jewel of the south centre and Westfield mall. Authentic Vietnamese and rice. Absolutely delicious and worthy the 1.3 miles walk
bf took me here to try their food..its worth the visit.. 1st off, the food is made from scratch and its fresh.. literally fresh not frozen... the food is good and made right.. its worth the wait since they want to do the food right. the owners are very engaging making sure that their customers are taking care of. its not a big place yes but the atmosphere, the customer service and food is what makes this place...
This place is pretty great. Pho tastes great, but also, make sure you ask for their chili oil. Has a good kick and adds good flavor. Their eggs rolls are nothing special, so just save your two dollars.
This place is WONDERFUL! I work right across the street at Prop Gallery, so its convenient for me at lunch. The owner and staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The owner remembers what I order normally everytime I come in. Which is the regular teriyaki with sauce on the side. Which is under $9 the regular sodas are 90 cents. One time I was $2 short to pay and I was ready to leave and not eat lunch and he said I can pay next time, and I did. One of the best and friendliest places in King County for teriyaki or phó. 😁☺
