A bit slow on serving the premium customers, but ok for plebs

Fish and chips is good as advertised, cider on tap. Nice interior, they have seats from where you dont see TV if you dont what to.

Aikuiseen makuun, . paikka on hinnoiteltu arvokkaaksi. Portsaria harvoin pubissa näkee ja täällä oli sellainenkin. Rakennus itsessään on näkemisen arvoinen vanha pankki. Paikka tavoittelee englantilaista tunnelmaa ja kohtuullisesti sen tavoittaakin. Ei paikassa vikaa ole mutta tuskinpa tulee toiste turistina käytyä. Asiallinen palvelu, nuorisoa ei näy tiskin kummallakaan puolella. Hienosti jätetty vanha pankkiholvi näkyville kellarissa.

Good atmosphere

Kapakkana ei inspiroi, toki lienee suunnattukin vähän varttuneemmalle väelle. Tila on hieno mutta sisustus aika meh. Hyviä oluita toki löytyy ja aamupalaa voin jopa suositella. Brittityyppinen aamiainen on kasattu laadukkaan oloisista aineksista ja jälkiruoka kruunasi kokonaisuuden. Menee hyvin myös lounaasta kuten kuuluukin.

Nice selection of beers , friendly stuff , clean , one very big plus NOT VERY YOUNG AUDIENCE , nice small pub menu , the fift star is not given because of the music combination ( could be a bit more English style pub music for example 80s 90s English pop about the prices nothing to say because we are in Finland ..

Twice I tried to visit and both I left fast. Before it was nice adult pub with proffesional staff and great unique atmosphere. Nowadays its all gone! What left is overpriced "cheap" diner style place with horrible music and young bartenders speaking some "teenage" language!

Old Bank on ollut vuosikausia brittipubin perikuva Turussa, joten pitihän paikka mennä katsastamassa remontin jäljiltä. Jotta asiakkaat ymmärtävät olevansa englantilaisessa pubissa, siihen vaaditaan nykyisen omistajan mielestä:- ulkoseinään ripustetaan kaksi suurta Ison-Britannian lippua- kaikkiin ikkunoihin teipataan kuva englantilaisesta puhelinkioskista ja teksti "British Pub"- joka puolelle liimataan Union Jack, Beatles ja "Keep calm and carry on" -julisteita- kattoihin ripustetaan ristiin rastiin sini-puna-valkoisia viirejä- loput seinät täytetään tauluilla kuninkaallisista, Big Benistä, London Bridgestä, ym. turistikuvastolla- vanhat mukavat nahkanojatuolit ja sohvat korvataan kovilla jakkaroillaTämän tasoinen sisutus on ehkä mennyt läpi 70-luvulla, mutta on nykyään mielestäni lähinnä asiakkaiden aliarvioimista. Sääli että komean ja perinteikkään tilan viihtyisyys on pilattu laimealla kitschillä. Tämän tasoiseen suoritukseen ei pysty edes S-ryhmä ketjubaareillaan.Hanasta löytyi kyllä hyviä oluita, mutta en näe syytä tulla jatkossa tänne niitä nauttimaan. Siihen tarkoitukseen löytyy monta muuta paljon viihtyisämpää paikkaa.

Great selection of beers, impeccable service by seasoned professionals, interesting milieu (it actually IS an old bank and you will notice if you visit the place). Quiet pub for drinking quality beers and chatting with your friends. Some board games available in the back room, too. A bit expensive though, but so is every quality bar in Turku downtown.

Plenty of space and a large choice of beers. Waiters know their thing and give proper advices. A go to place for a beer after work.

Interesting old building, marble columns, old wood, snugs, tables and rooms are eclectically around the bar. In one room and downstairs you can see old vaults, one with a waxwork dummy in it. Lots of beer choice, was busy on a Saturday lunch time, I got well-talked-to by a couple of locals on their way to a hockey match.

One of the best beer places in Turku

Amazing pub with hundreds of beers to choose from. Thereof at least 15 beers from the tap.Good barkeeper who can explain the differences and sugest the right beer for your taste.Cozy sofas and tables....but expensive, but might be due to being in Finland though...Try to spot your local beer glas :-)

Great atmosohere

Fantastic atmosphere inside of an old, elegant bank. Original interior beautifully preserved. Nice assortment of draft beers and more. They do not serve food.

One of my absolute favorite watering holes in Turku. Extensive selections of both beers and whiskies. Friendly staff who are always ready to recommend what you should try next - and they get it right! Slight drawbacks are the prices and the fact that it can get quite crowded during weekends.

Nice interior and friendly service. Customers mainly 30+, not for youngsters.
