Place for Korean BBQ cooked on tabletop mesquite grills, plus stews & other dishes.
I go to a lot if kbbq places and ive been skipping this one cuz of the price, i finally went and spent my rent money and it was WORTH IT this server gave me cheese corn for no reason and it made my night, def will be back and its all cuz of john and owen. Funnest servers
My 1st time at the establishment and boy was I impressed the vibe is great and service is paramount..
Quality meats, lots of variety in what you can order for AYCE. Prompt and fast service.
This place is a must go for a fun night are great food. The KBBQ experience was great, ordering from a great selection of meats and cooking to your liking on the tabletop grill. Maybe a bit pricey if you dont eat too much, but the group of friends I went with all enjoyed the endless ordering during our reserved time. The menu is fixed pricing, but you are really pay for time at the table. So as long as youre there, order whatever youd like. The wait staff was great as well. Overall great experience.
Food was great, but the service couldve been more friendly
Go with an appetite!! The constant line to get a table is proof that the place is worth the wait. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed spare ribs, chicken, steak, shrimp, and octopus along with rice, lettuce, zucchini and pineapple. Also lots of little plates of various kimchi and sides. The tofu soup delicious and the tofu was so creamy.
For the price, this is a great spot. Friendly staff. Gained about 4lbs and had some meat sweats but totally worth it
Good experience, food was great.
Tasty and food comes fast…definitely get the pineapple and other non-meat dishes! And ask for grill changes frequently.Might be a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it.They also have ice cream and socks for sale, not included in the AYCE (all you can eatprice.
The deluxe kalbi was over the top, loved it! Love the experience too! The tongue was only alright.
The food at this place is alright but the points I list below is totally detracting this place from being worth going:1. The biggest problem of this place is the service. For all-you-can-eat we had to order stuff all the time but this place is apparently understaffed and we had to wait minutes after finishing all the food on our table to get a server. In this case I really recommend this place to get an online order system that customers can directly put things in.2. This place is dishonest. They tiered the menu and as you pay for what tier of food you order and you stay with that menu. However, if you accidentally ordered one item from the menu on an upper tier, they will NOT inform you of that and charge you the rates of the upper tier. This was exactly what happened to us. We ordered the premium menu but accidentally ordered one item from the supreme menu, and our bill automatically hopped up 20 dollars for each of the four of us! They tried to rationalize this by offering an option to pay for the supreme item we ordered but they price single orders ludicrously high so it is not an option. This is a dishonest act against consumers, as we must be informed and consent to any upgrade that we are getting. On the other hand, if we were actually doing the upgrade, we would have ordered other items that belong to the supreme menu. Immediately after that meal, I wrote to the restaurant and have not since heard from them. I feel extremely indignant and am spending (and wasting10 minutes of my life to write this review and share our experience toward all potential customers.3. The neighborhood is unsafe. The parking lot of this place is small and quickly fills up so you will likely park on the street. You will be immediately impressed by the glass shards on the ground that indicate constant window smashing. I unfortunately took the odds and had a broken window to fix. If you do want to come to this place, please find yourself a safe place to park.
Excellent food. Absolutely amazing. BUT tables are small. We were 7 of us.Very VERY DISAPPOINTED with the service. NO ONE BOTHERS to get eye contact. Our table was kinda left unnoticed. Eventually we put our hands up(I know its not appropriate), still no one noticed, until we went physically to talk to a person.BTW the restaurant and the waiter who brought the bill should be glad that our host pointed out that the original billing was incorrect... They billed us for like 10 pct of the actual bill.PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE OR TRAIN THEM BETTER
Can be loud sometimes; but the food is great, atmosphere is wonderful, and the servers are awesome! Just, order the bulgogi.
Great food. Great service. Great music! The atmosphere was awesome.
The first time me and my family went there everything was perfect especially the customer service. The 2nd time we went there we didnt have a good experience, but the food and beverages are always on point. Most of the time so is the customer service.
My favorite kbbq place, just because its quick and easy and out of the way - I can usually walk in without a reservation, too.
Really good korean barbecue! The basic option has a ton of meat, fish, and vegetables. The pork belly, octopus, squid, and bulgogi were all great. There was a good selection of side dishes (panchan), and they had sweet pancakes (hotteokfor dessert.
Had a lot of fun there. The food is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Tried seafood pancakes, beef bimbimap, chicken sushi, pork bbq with Korean glass noodles. It’s nice, but could be better in terms of flavor and quantity. Quantity is pretty less compared to other Korean restaurants in the same level as theirs. Good customer service. There’s parking too.
I tried to call to make a reservation and they didn’t have any available (which is fine), but when I tried to ask more about what time I should get there for walk-in, etc., they just hung up on me while I was talking (this happened twice). I called the alameda location and they were much nicer
Delicious food, attentive staff, quality meat, lots of side and banchan selection!!! Very good value for the price. Only coming here from now on 😍
Great all you can eat menu, and at a great price. I would suggest getting there on the early side because it gets busy. You can make reservations for a party over 2 people. Highly recommend.
My favorite KBBQ spot in the Bay! Great selection of ayce meats/sides. Friendly staff. Ive moved away, but always make sure to come back when I visit.
We ate here for Fathers day. The menu has changed some but we all still really had a nice experience again. We all were very full. Help was fast and attentive. We had an eight people party. Still one of favorites. Concord location too.
Service is good, restaurant is clean. I am not good at cooking so... bring someone that knows how to cook the meat without burning it. The shrimp with head I cooked was not good, the meat was good. The noodle wrap was frozen noodle kinda stick together and couldnt get it apart, the daikon is marinated in ginger. I dislike ginger.
It was crowded on Saturday evening. Food was delecious and service was awesome. If you are taking kids, order from ala carte menu for them or your 3 year old would be charged as an adult!
Ate here on 3.29.2022, paid $33 per person for AYCE dinner. Great selection of meat, seafood, side dishes, and soups. Very quick and attentive waiters. They came by frequently to check on us. And the meat would come out in about a minute after I placed the order.
We went here for my daughters birthday, and had to wait an hour for a table. They are a very popular spot! When we did get a table, our phone service went kaput, and we had to ask for menus. They didnt like that, but they worked with us ☺️Food was good and the kids liked the experience of BBQing at the table.
Amazingly delicious! So much food at a great price! Only $33 for all you can eat!!!
Nice, clean restaurant. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. The expensive thing you had choices for everyone Alice. From the items that I chose, the flavors were really great! I’ll definitely go back and take my friends.
Very good selection of meat! Service is attentive and helpful, they change our grill like 3x. 10/10 overall.
Great food. Reasonable prices. Perfect for the whole family.Professional and courteous staff and servers. They deserve a raise for working so hard to please all the customers.
Im usually not a AYCE type of eater. Not even when Im in Las Vegas! But, I really cant complain when its a place my friends want to go to and they are buying!Ive been to the Oakland location many times and this was my first time at the newer Alameda location. Big space, modern, and well ventilated. Love the variety of K-BBQ items and sides. My favorite item here is the thin beef brisket. We chose the "Premium" menu which is $38.99 per person. For the amount and quality of food, well worth the price! Add some small little pours of soju, its a complete meal.
A chain restaurant that serves Korean BBQ and not so traditional taste food. They offer both all you can eat and a la cart for dinner. Its really a popular restaurant, so dont expect any service here. In fact it felt like theyre rushing us out even though they have 2 hours timeframe for each table. If the food was good, I would try again, but everything was mediocre.
After hiking, was craving Kbbq. Yelped and this place was first in the list.Customer service was hit and miss. We had plenty of servers come to check in and some were nice and some couldn’t care less. We had to ask for water, ban chan, and sauce, all on separate servers. Meat quality was mediocre. $32 ayce. Would probably not come back.
THANK YOU for your Quarantine Special deals! We used DoorDash and ordered 2 lbs uncooked brisket, 2 lbs uncooked short ribs, soft tofu stew/soup and seafood pancake. Total came out to $59 + tip, tax and associated fees. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the order included some banchan (broccoli, kimchi, fish cake, sprouts, etc.and white rice.We ordered ahead and got the grill going so we were ready to cook when the food arrived. Everything tastes great! The stew/soup ($11is enough to feed four people. Great deal.
Staff - are nice and theyre wearing masks and gloves while serving which is good.Food - okay; only few selections. I wish they have seafood on their menu.Location - great! It is walkable from bart.
All you can eat Korean bbq for ~$30/person for dinner or $20 for weekday lunch. Really good deal for the quality of food. Their sides are also delicious but that’s probably what they want us to fill up on. :highLy recommend going with at least 4 people so you can try a lot of their sides on the all you can eat list.
Not bad. A pretty run of the mill KBBQ all you can eat. Loud pop music (but not kpopand the standard service. I like that theyre open late. Happy hour is late too. Other than that, its not really stand out. I actually think their appetizers are somewhat lackluster.A lot of places offer some wings that are cooked or something but this place is just fries and not so good dumplings, etc. You can pay extra for the appetizers you might hope to see, however.Cool they have a little library in the waiting room. Not sure Ill come back but I dont regret my time here. It was just another KBBQ option but the only one open at the hour we went.Service was nice and pretty friendly. I wasnt left alone very long and theres a call button on the table.
Very enjoyable, authentic Korean dining experience.Meal included:1. Korean chicken wings: crunchy and sweet2. Vegetable chop chae: a little dry for my taste, but still good3. Spicy squid stir-fry: a little on the mild side, but not in a bad way. I am also not used to them being served in a sauce this liquid. The texture was perfect though.Overall: I am definitely coming back.Update: went back last week and everything was fantastic
It was very good experience for us. The food was great and the service was very impressive . Parking can be though “ lucky is the name of the game” if you want to park closer to the entrance.
I came here years and years ago and hated it so I was hesitant to return just based off of that memory.Anyways, was talked into going, and it was the opposite of my last experience. The entire gang loved it.All you can eat for $29/person. Online reservations through Yelp, good quality meats, recommendations from our server, they were constantly swinging by to switch out the grills, and good ventilation so you dont leave smelling completely of meat. They also have buzzers at the table so you dont have to try and flag someone down every time you need something. They have a super tiny parking lot but all 8 of us found street parking at 7 on a Saturday night. Easy peasy.
I bought the card from Costco 3 months ago and never get the chance to try. Until my friend recommended it to me last week, I finally went with my family on Tuesday. We tried the lunch buffet. The food quality and quantity are both great! Service was nice. Price is reasonable too! The kimchi and tofu stew are nice too. Just hope they can give more items on lunch menu. I recommended to my friends who loves BBQ right away.
This place is a bit pricier than other Korean ayce bbqs. However, with the extra price you pay comes the higher quality. Their short ribs were amazing and so was the premium steak. The pork jaw was nice and fat (size). Normally other places give you small pieces. This place did not disappoint.Overall experience is the same as any other kbbq place. Just higher quality of meat here!
We came here for the all you can eat bbq lunch (18.95$). There are many options for meat and side dishes. I liked the non-marinated meat and the spicy tofu soup was delicious.
Parking lot is limited, drove in with my truck and they accommodated by letting me park where employees park. Service was amazing and workers very attentive to our requests. We took to the basics, brisket, beef short ribs, mixed veggies, & shrimp with cajun sauce on the side. Came in on a Saturday night 11pm after the County Fair and to my surprise no wait time! One of my favs in Oakland region, hope you all enjoy!
Very good quality meat! It was a great meal. The staff was very attentive. The la ribs and the bulgogi were amazing. The spicy pork belly and chicken were also good if you like spicy. The veggies were fresh and easy to grill. The price was well worth it! And its great they have their own parking lot.
Waited 1 hour and an half on a Saturday 6pm. Food was good. Everyone love the corn with cheese. Service was bad. They keep on forgetting about our orders. Had to tell them 3 times for ice water, noodles etc
Upscale Korean BBQ with a cool modern vibe. Come late and you get a really good deal on BBQ. Theyre all you can eat brunch is amazing Hazard the whole you can eat deals are available on BBQ. You get to barbecue at your own pace. And the bar is great! Open till 1 a.m. most days
LA short ribs, bul go gee, spicy pork belly, soft tofu soup, and all of the usual accoutrements are delicious. This place gets stupid busy, though, so if youre planning on going during the normal busy weekend night hours, be prepared to wait quite a while.
