Average food , i have highly doubt that sea foods are fresh . Clams didnt open while cooking and it recommend by that clams that are closed after being cooked are not good, salmon was mushy seems degraded and same spices on everything. I am a fresh sea food lover and i know my fish well. Tempura fish was just chickpea flour and oily . Not upto mark in the fresh sea food area.

The experience was much better than I thought. The octopus tasted much better. I was wondering if I could eat but I finished।😌

Well if you have been to the previous Ohana at Dhanmondi 06 with an open to sky court, youll be disappointed to see the new place.Its completely indoor restaurant now.AMBIANCE:Ship interior. Not a big space. Sufficient seating arrangements though.FOOD:Pretty good.RECOMMENDATION:Worth a try!

Great seafood 🦞 place. I took suicide Octopus, seafood chowder and the pirate platter. Taste was fantastic, the items were properly cooked. The stuffs are nicely mannered. Recommend to seafood lovers.

Food was good. We tried the octopus. It was good but i would have loved it if it was fried rather grilled.

The Octopus is disgusting. I do not know why it has such great reviews. The only boil the Octopus and marinate in a basic tomato sauce that only worsens the taste. This is Bangladesh, you can not expect people to eat raw mollusks that comes out of a fridge. It was like rubber, extremely hard to chew and swallow. It also had a bad smell. On top of that, it was not cleaned properly. Really, a complete waste of money. The staffs were cordial and the place is cozy. I liked their King Prawns. I did not get a chance to notify staffs about the distasteful octopus as my friend got an allergic reaction by eating it and I had to rush to hospital. I hope Ohana Diner will grill their octopus and work on their sauce to be more fragrant and tasty.

Tasty and quality food with great ambience and great service. We tried Red Snapper Sumahara and Creamy Seashells Bowl. Both were very yummy!

Seafood with relatively less cost than restaurants which serves seafood. Their seafood rice platter with dory fish is exquisite and very tasty, worth each penny. Although the vegetable wasnt up to the mark. I tried other items as well which tastes quite good but i wont call it top notch, although less expensive than other which makes it a good choice according to the price.

Food is expensive here. Taste is ok, but quantity was poor. The octopus was tasty and extremely spicy.

Ordered Cream of mashroom soup, Hawaiian seafood salad, whole grilled squid, suicide octopus (500g), Moana punch, soda with lime. Soup and salad were good. Comparing to the amount and taste, Squid and octopus seemed overpriced. Also we ordered large (500goctopus, but it didn’t look like a 500g one. Soda with lime was just a Schweppes can with a lemon and a syrup given separately.Items were a bit overpriced.

It was my third time at their place and they never disappointed me.The food quality and their behaviour has set the bar really high

Ohana diner is extraordinary when it comes to seafood.Their food is both delicious and beautifully presented.The premises are extremely clean as well as the atmosphere is lovely.Id love to visit again. Also Id recommand it as a nice place to go with friend, family, or a partner.P.S.: Do try their Creamy Dory; itll meet your satisfaction.

Good place for seafoods enthusiastic. #Ohanadiner will surprise one with ample options. All of the fried options are better than curry/gravy options. We did tried two platters which are average and serving quantity is small compared to the price. Prawn fried options are delicious. Chef was kind and come to check about our feedbacks. However, waiters seemed untrained and making too much noises inside the restaurant. Also, toilet knob was broken which unmatched for a fine dine like this restaurant.

They did not clean the mussels, there was a baby crab inside it. The fish n chips was also very basic, i have made it better at home. Overall food quality was underwhelming. They served french salad dressing as tartar. Thoroughly disappointed.

I tried octopus for the very first time. We have ordered through Foodpanda to get 25% vat but when i went there, it was raining a lot so i sat down to eat at their restaurant. They asked me to pay extra 10% VAT.But the fun fact is the smell of the octopus was not good. But the octopus was rubbery. It was delicious. And the sauce was to good. Besides i ordered a bowl of fried rice, the quality and quantity of rice bowl was toooo good.RATINGS:Their behaviour: 07/10Octopus: 08/10Fried rice: 08/10Overall: 8/10

At first I was pretty skeptical about the squid as the sea food sauce was kinda not in favor for my nose. Boy, I was so wrong! The Suicide Squid (largeis so delicious. Yummy. Loved it. Really wished they added more vegetables to our platter. 9/10 would recommend.

It was way more than what we have expected... Our dine-in experience in Ohana was over the top... The seafood was fresh and tender as well as perfectly cooked. Reasonable pricing makes it wanna go again. The ambiance and staffs were fairly good. Last but not least of surprises was the dessert, fulfilling your dine-in occasion like a meal finished with pleasure. The delicacy and the mouth-water flavor of their Arabian desserts are exquisite. Must-try items are Squid 🦑, Suicide octopus 🐙, Lobster🦞 and must have desert Bulbul yuvasi!

One of the newest but good sea food restaurant in Dhaka. Food quality is good. Price is reasonable. The restaurant based 95% on sea food. If you are a sea food lover, then you can try it. I found it little bit different from other sea food restaurants.Location is good but there is no authorized car parking area.Decoration of the restaurant is fascinating.

They have shifted to a new location which is great. Price is not too much but Octopus size is too small. Seafood Fried rice was average.

I know the place since its used to be Jolly Rogers. However, the decor is same as before but the food is really good. But if you are sitting inside the restaurant then there is no privacy. Staffs always stares at you, talk loudly and too insisting to order as per their choice. We ordered Soup and Onion rings. The taste of the soup is good but the veggies are little undercooked. The onion rings was horrible.

*PRICE* - very over priced compared to the quality of food servings. Side items with main dishes r very low in proportion. And inconsistent if you compare the pictures from various reviews of same itmes. they add 7% service charge which is absolutely unnecessary and wasnt a great service either. They didnt wear mask. Although they put a notice that you cant enter the restaurant without a mask. irony. And they gave A REGULAR SIZE OCTOPUS WHEN WE ORDERED A LARGE SIZE OCTOPUS. Octopus was 680 something and squid 440 something. 3 items (including soupwith sprite and water costed 1600/- which is too much.*FOOD* - food is good. In fact their seafood soup was a cracker. The broth is sooo rich and flavorsome. It was very tasty. The crab inside the soup was well cooked and had fresh meat. Very nice. Liked the suicide octopus but squid wasnt up to the mark. Will go back there again for the soup and order may be muscles or lobster. Those items look promising in the menu.*PLACE* - the place is good. After entering the restaurant through a narrow passage that gives you an old destroyed ship vibe you suddenly discover an open space and we do appreciate open spaces. The place has a pirate theme for some reason . I would say I kinda liked it. Theres no parking space.Recommended? Okay, you can try but keep these things in mind. No parking , no masks from waiters , over priced, extra service charge but good food and a good place to hang out.

It was great to have a quality Sea food restaurant at Dhaka city. They have tried to give a pirate look to the restaurant with decoration. I have ordered an Octoous which they named as "Suicide Octopus" and Onion Rings. Taste of the food was good though it was little bit spicy. Cool place. Washroom facility is available. They are opened from 12: 00 PM to 11:00 PM everyday. They have also some other sea food like squid, shell, prown etc. Behavior is good and they takes order for home delivery. Would like to go again.

It’s a small but well decorated Hawaiian themed restaurant. It’s my first time trying fish & chips and I mist say damn!! It was so tasty, juicy & on top of it it felt like I was eating soft butter. The chips with it were not up to the mark and was oily. Then we tried the meat lovers pizza which has chicken, veg & tomato purée. This is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten in my whole life. The crust was thick, well done, the pizza was oozing with cheese & meat but the best part I would say was the tomato purée. It added a great taste to it. I’d like to go there again to try the other seafood they offer.

This is cute tiny place.But their food was really horrible.We ordered a pizza margherita and everything was wrong with it.Not going there again and highly NOT RECOMMENDING!
