Oh! Mexico in Miami Beach
Description
Privilege
Nice and friendly restaurant with a good choice menu. Only had a small snack tonight after a long flight.Back in at the restaurant. Still as perfect stay as first time. A sweet young man from India working today.(Remember our words in our little chat. Well done you!)So friendly and nice service. As well food was as good as the first visit for us.Keep up the good work guys.
MoreFANTASTIC Mexican food! Great mix of authentic with a bit of a tex-mex flair. Awesome drinks. A little spendy, but reasonable for the area. We will definitely be back. 20% gratuity added by default for party of 2 (without being informed in advance), but the service was worth it.
MoreHands down the best restaurant I’ve eaten at here in Miami Beach. The service is fantastic and friendly, the atmosphere at Española Way is romantic, fun, beautiful, whatever you need it to be! We got tacos Al pastor, a burrito, and two mock tails and the prices (especially in comparison to literally ANY other nice restaurants aroundliterally CANNOT be beat. Everything was DELICIOUS and portions were extremely satisfying. I cannot recommend enough!!!
MoreOne of the greatest Mexican restaurants of Miami. Ambience is top notch and the food is delicious. Bar available. Dine-in available on the walk way. The entire street is happening place. Cool drinks and hot drinks are available. Valet parking provided for 30$. Price of the food is reasonable. Tacos available. This restaurant is since 1997. Easily accessible as it is on roadside.
MoreCelebrated my anniversary at this Mexican restaurant and it was so delicious and LOVED PABLO AS OUR SERVER. Great customer service and such a friendly / smiley person.
MoreFortunately it was not crowded, the food I have to say is pretty good, I know Im MexiCan! Great atmosphere and great service. The mango michelada is freaking awesome!! Camila nos atendio increible!!!
MoreOrdered mixed fajita and a steak fajita. The meats were burned and tiny skillet way over priced. We also got quesadilla appetizer and it was $18 for 3 small pieces. Additionally medium margarita was $26. We were shocked that there was 20% service charge automatically added for poor service. No fork was provided and had to ask twice. Not worth time or money try other restaurant.
MoreIf you thought I was going to forget to write this review. You’re sadly mistaken. I know you and you friends coming out of the restaurant that day will remember this. I was visiting Miami for my birthday with my boyfriend. After a long day in the sun at the beach we decided to google something to eat. I really wanted tacos so that’s where we ended up heading catering searching this place up and mind you it says OPEN. We walk up to the front steps after a group of people walk out. The woman looked at us said we can’t go in and that she’s calling the police. Me and my boyfriend just look confused at each other because ?? What ??? We said go ahead lol we aren’t doing anything wrong and the woman said well I am the manager and this place is closed so you’re trespassing blah blah blah. As a manager you should inform instead of treat customers like that. She was disgusting towards my boyfriend and I both people of color and I would not recommend going anywhere where managements behavior is putrid. Don’t eat here.
MoreGreat food. Had amazing service. Our party of 6 did not leave hungry. Everyone enjoyed their food.
MoreIf I could give 10 stars, I would! I was here last year, and I came again just for the food! Amazing service! Great food and drinks, I will be back again!
MoreWe have been here few times and we loved this place . They have the best margaritas ( watermelon my favoritesuper refreshing . We loved their spicy salsas . Shrimp enchipotlados tacos amazing and mixto fajita oh wow - great , great, great. And on top of everything the churros and our server Mily who explain us the menu and was very attentive on everything- it’s a 5 star for this place . Thanks Mily , we will be back
MoreI wish I could leave 0 stars. We ordered drinks ( 1 margarita and one other)My husband’s margarita turned out to be $26!!!They said that was a “medium” sized one( it’s on the picture). The total with tips (20% mandatorywas $57. For two drinks. Why just drinks? Because we waited 20 minutes for our chips and salsa, the waiter ignored us, and after these 20 minutes asked us:” oh you ordered chips right?”This restaurant is legitimately a scam. And I never said that before
MoreI understand locations are understaffed and may have affected the food time but...waited over 45 minutes to start our drink order. Meanwhile one waiter was focused on only one table instead of taking care of the new customers, kept pacing back and forth. An hour and a half later... still no food. Overall the location was great, didnt even get a chance to taste the food. Left after an hour and a half.
More01/15/2022 Good Mexican mole and steak burrito. There is no social distancing while eating here.
MoreAmazing chicken tacos that come with delicious rice & refried beans😋 I am picky with my chicken tacos and this place really is on my list of best chicken tacos!
MoreGuacamole to die for!!! Guac was made to perfection!Delicious Tacos with the options of lettuce wraps that we amazing. Everything was delicious very happy with the food.Extremely satisfied with the customer service, very friendly and gave great recommendations as to where the hot spots were around the area.
MoreAgostina was our server and she was great. Kind and respectful and on the ball. Food was equally as good. Best nachos Ive ever had. Try it with the steak, just amazing!
MoreListen, my husband and I decided to leave work at 4 and find a happy hour on the beach OMG! we happen to ride past oh Mexico on south beach the food, service and the vibe was everything. Everyone was supper nice shot out to Victor he was such a great waiter highly recommend this place
MoreFood was served super fast and the staff was friendly. Guac was delicious and also really enjoyed the fajitas. Salsas are also properly spicy, which I love.
MoreTacos (both fish and steakand drinks (passion fruit mojito and skinny mojitowere both phenomenal! Ceviche was terrible. There were burnt pieces of bacon on it and burnt oil so we didnt enjoy it. But everything else was so great that I still am giving it 5 stars. The service was great and the vibe was fantastic!
MoreDelicious authentic Mexican food. Located on España way and Washington.Great drinks we ordered Fresh Mojitos with a real ginger stick and mint.Chips and handmade salsa with different variations of spicy.Queso dip topped with chorizo was amazing , served hot in a small cast iron skillet.Ceviche was fresh and impressive served with saltine crackers.Good portions. Entires come with rice and beans.Service fee 20% is automatically added to your tab.
MoreOverall great service! Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious and drinks were very refreshing. We ordered the Salmón topped Cilantro and the Camarón al guajillo.
MoreTasty vegan and vegetarian options. Not many options but that’s more than most places on south beach, just ask for no cheese. The cauliflower tacos were amazing and I came back a second time just for the sauce it was served with.A lot of fun and creative drinks, even drinks with lollipop. Very friendly servers both times.
MoreThis is the place to go for tacos in Miami! Alcoholic drinks were top notch. The flan was to die for. Fast service and friendly staff.
MoreExcellent customer service, food was quick and perfect. Amazing flavor and good portions. Zander was a very nice server! Highly recommend!!
MoreTacos 🌮 come in an order of three. But you can’t mix and match. They have to be all the same.Fried cheese 🫕 was good but you have to eat it while hot… once it cools down, it’s a brick 🧱Guac is goodOverpriced but that’s south beach for you.
MoreVisited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and were seated immediately outside. Service was prompt and friendly, but it did feel like our waiter was constantly trying to upsell us on everything - even when I ordered my food, he pointed at the menu to try and get me to order a completely different (and $15 more expensiveitem all together. We wanted to try their variety of salsas with chips, and he told me we had to order the $15 guacamole in order to get the sides of salsa. However, as we left, I noticed many tables with just chips/salsa and no guacamole. All salsas were tasty, guacamole was average, the chicken flautas with rice and beans were delicious ($21), and my husband loved his steak and enchiladas with rice and beans ($36).Received the bill and were shocked that it came out to over $92 for 2 dishes and 1 side, but with over 30% added to the bill in taxes and 20% service charge, it wouldve been hard to have a reasonably priced meal anyway. The food was the best part of our visit to this restaurant (thank goodness), but we probably wouldnt return or recommend.
MoreWe just enjoyed a delicious taco Tuesday at Oh! Mexico. It was our first time visiting and we loved the steak tacos - 5 stars! The service was excellent, too. Our waitress, Mili, was so sweet and very attentive. They only had outside seating available and it was a torrential downpour the entire time we were there, but it didnt take away from our excellent experience!
MoreService is super fast and the food is very delicious. The portions are pretty big so we shared all the food for 2. We also ordered a quesadilla with shrimps but it was not made of corn flour as I expected. Anyway it was so good that I didn’t regret it 😁 and I’m giving this place 5 ⭐️
MoreWe always stop here for drinks and food when in Miami as we love Espagnola way and Oh! Mexico has great ambiance and good food and excellent margaritas. The service is ALWAYS excellent. My only complaint is that their website advertises a happy hour from 3 to 6 but this does not exist. Please update your information. Also, very little chicken with nachos :(.
MoreAmazing 5 star experience. Our waiter, Daniel G, treated us like his only table in a full restaurant. The food was amazing, the staff was terrific, and the mojitos are the best Ive had in Miami so far. Very professional establishment and I highly recommend them! Clean plate so you know its real.
MoreOur last night’s dinner was at Oh! Mexico as suggested by our concierge and it was so amazing. We loved the energetic vibe of the venue, the menu options are great and they’ve good vegetarian options. The food was flavorful and delicious. The service was quick and efficient. A must-try!
MoreDinner out with hubby. We dined outside. Fast, friendly service. Food was very tasty. Big menu. The bill included tip at 18-20%.
MoreThis is the Mexican restaurant in Espanol way here in Miami south beach. This is on Washington avenue. It’s outside seating and beautiful amenities to sit outside and enjoy couple of drinks and amazing Mexican food. This restaurant is on higher price side but tastes very good. I am being vegetarian I had all vegan but they were amazing. The service and people are very friendly. I love the style of bringing the chips and salsa. If you like Mexican and you are here in Miami then you must try.
MoreProbably one of the best Mexican restaurants Ive been to. The food was so fresh, the service was impeccable, the margaritas were like u made at home, the atmosphere made me feel like I was a part of a family. If you dont come here while visiting Miami Beach, your a fool!
MoreMy family and I had dinner here recently. The mojitos were delicious, and the fresh guacamole was outstanding. For my meal I ordered the streak entree, and it was served with a cheese enchilada and rice. The steak was fine, but a bit oily. For dessert, we shared the tres leche cake. Overall, the meal was good.
MoreThe hospitality of all the staff was very nice!!!! We met Andrea , he was so hands on with us and everyone that came into the establishment!!!! My husband love the salmon he said it was very scrumptious. I never ate Mexican food and I must say it was very delicious!!! It was my husband birthday and I must say that they treated him like a king. Also they were not to pricey. When we come back to Miami this will be our first stop to eat at.Thank you all for the hospitality and the delicious food .
MoreOscar was awesome! We got the Mexican Street Corn for app. Awesome! We had the the Chile Relleno Burrito and the Nachos. Both were amazing! Id go here again and again for sure. Dont skip this place.
MoreAn amazing place - a wonderful lunch. We stopped by today for a lunch at this place. We have heard that the food is very good and we decided to give it a try. We were seated on a table on espanola way , After we were seated our server came to greet us. I think her name was Marcia. She recommended us for starter their fresh and homemade Guacamole with chips and salsa. The Guacamole was Oh!!!!We loved it . We both had margaritas ( a bit strong but with very rich flavor . We had tacos to share as well. The tacos they came with different salsas, a little bit spicy but super tasty. Everything was great!!!! 5 stars for everything. Great service , thank you Marcia. Manager was very attentive too. And great music. We will be back for sure.
MoreAfter reading the positive reviews we decided to have dinner here. It was delicious and the service was great. Dont let the automatic gratuity take away from how great the restaurant is. People either dont tip or tip too little. It was so good we came back on our last night for a final dinner.
MoreAmazing food. We were scared first by reading google reviews but we still went for it and it’s completely worth of money. Love the food plus it’s not that expensive amazing. Wonderful service
MoreWe were looking for some tacos and stumbled upon this place. We were quickly seated outdoors in a small table for two. IMO the table was too small, even for two people. We started with margaritas; one on the rocks and the other frozen. The frozen margarita did not taste like alcohol or strawberry. I had the steak quedadilla and IMO it was too pricey at $19. Overall experience was okay, the service was great (even offered to change out the frozen margaritabut $110 for one appetizer and one meal and two drinks is quite pricey.
MoreWe were in town and wanted to dine on authentic Mexican Food. We read the reviews of the plethora of Mexican restaurants located within the Miami Beach area. We decided on "Oh! Mexico," and I am Oh so happy that we did! I used to live in Miami and really wanted to get that authentic Mexican flavor I cant seem to get in Indianapolis. My friend and I ate everything you see pictured. Excellent, excellent food! Great atmosphere, location and service! We will definitely come again!
MoreFor anyone who loves authentic Mexican Food you need to come here! My mom and I came here because of the great reviews and the food exceeded expectations. My dad grew up in Texas so I am very picky about Mexican food and their steak fajitas were phenomenal. Excellent cut of beef and very well seasoned and the vegetables were sooo fresh! You could tell that the peppers were just cut prior to being cooked. The chips were also very fresh and tasty. I loved the salsa too, also fantastic. My mom had the shrimp tacos and she said they were the best shrimp tacos she has ever had. I loved the atmosphere on the historic Espanola Way. We sat outside and it was nice that they had fans outside because Miami gets so hot. The whole staff was sooo nice and friendly. My mom and I needed a bathroom stop after walking around for a while after dinner and they recognized us and let us use the bathroom there. Very wonderful personable people! Making a reservation ahead of time was so easy which is great because this place gets packed as it should be because it is so good! I will be back next time I am in Miami!
MoreAmbience here is a sensory overload: bright colors, wind, sunlight, music all down the alley, tons of people out in the weekends, amazing food and great service! The portions are large, two of us split guac and a plato and were very full by the end. If you like spice, make sure you ask for their hottest homemade salsa, and their cheladas (lime juice+beerwas amazing too!
MoreThe ambience, the people, the food is outstanding. We got the chips and guacamole, couple margaritas, and tacos. Everything was just perfect and the tacos tasted so good, this restaurant is on a beautiful street, after dining here, you can go for a walk on the street and enjoy the atmosphere.
MoreThe atmosphere was nice, they had seating inside and outside. Outside us a nice view of trees and lights at night. The chorizo and cheese was very delicious. I had a mango margarita which was very good. I also had the pastor tacos which were okay. The pineapple made it very sweet. They offered salsa which was delicious. The beans taste like it’s from a can, the horchata was not that good.
MoreWe visited Miami in September and it was a first restaurant which we stoped by.Excellent quality of food and amazing friendly people are working here! Our waiter suggested us to try fish tacos, fajitas and homemade signature margarita! And absolutely everything were so delicious! We remembering about tacos from that place every week! Can’t wait when we come back to Miami and that place will be a first place where we will come ❤️
MoreGreat dining experience.Spirited entertaining smiling laughter filled dinner with fabulous service persons.Everybody from main reception, at bar and waiting staff, kind, smiling, professional and very patient to answer all questions and fulfill requests. Thanks to Damien appreciate his service and smiling presence.Ordered grilled full yellow tail fish . Yummy delicious crisp dish.Entire group enjoyed food and drinks. Every order is been properly cooked and delivered. Awesome decor from Cuba.Great dining entertaining experience. Would like to repeat and definitly recommend.
MoreThe food is perfect in every way..waiters and waitresses are very attentive...and so sweet. You might want to keep ur sauces from your table starter and use with ur meal. We got an appetizer but really didn’t need it because chips and dip are provided. Check includes gratuity which makes it easy when paying. We spent $76 on our meal for 2 people. I completely recommend it.
