Had the best birthday so much fun great people great staff loved it!!

If I could give no stars, I would. DO NOT OPEN A TAB HERE and see other reviews. Went for a friends bday party in a private room. Waitress over charged my card when I left by several hundred dollars of drinks I did not order and almost $150 in tips to herself. The manager would not respond when I showed proof the charge was wrong. When asked about multiple additional charges for "tips", the manager stopped responding to my emails. I had to call the cc company and open a dispute. Rather than lie to the cc co, I spent 3 months explaining that I wanted to pay for the drinks I absolutely purchased and, finally, my cc co refunded the almost $300 I was overcharged. In hindsight, if I were a liar, it would have been easier to say the full charge was fraudulent and get the full refund.

Had friends in town from Texas and Arkansas. Had to show them a good time and Offkey was the place to do it. We had a blast and our host Brandon was amazing. 10/10 would recommend and will be back soon!

Had a great time for my buddys birthday party Saturday night. We did a private room and it was super clean and the staff was great. Overall great experience I would definitely do it again and recommend.

Went with some friends and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the facilities and wide variety of songs available. From musicals to metal to modern day pop, they had a huge list of songs to choose from. You can search and select songs all from your phone as well as edit the queue to accommodate your current mood/party. Would highly recommend for small parties such as a bachelorette or 21+ birthdays.

Music selection was slim to say the least. Pretty much just the current most popular artists and songs to pick from. Good luck if you like metal or punk. Microphone quality was poor. I wondered if it was working several times so if you’re not a strong singer, it probably won’t pick up your voice. Friend rented a room for her birthday and they had me pay the cover charge even though everything was paid for. They only take cash so I had to use the ATM with a $3.50 fee. They won’t just give back the $5 bill.

It was nice it was funny the white gal was ready for us to go.we didnt leave fast enough she got a black worker.it was cute and funny.

Friendly and accommodating staff, reasonably priced drinks, and a great song selection. Whether you opt for one of their seven private suites or just want to hang out at the main bar, OffKey is sure to be a blast for you and your friends.

We did not enjoy our time here whatsoever. Did not feel welcomed, business did not seem appreciative of our large group. Place was not busy, wouldve thought they would have treated us better. Oh well. Plenty of other spots to drink and dance!

Went for a night out with friends ordered one drink and had a whopping charge of $49 for one drink no ones there on the weekdays so you cant call to dispute anything and no one gives you a receipt when you order your drinks that way they can go back and charge you whatever they want

Super fun! I got to sing 4 songs on a Friday. Very attractive and diverse staff AND patrons. A mix of ok and great singers. Super friendly vibe. I went alone and didnt feel alone. I even made friends! They do a thorough security check and I felt safe. No one was grabby even though some parts are cramped. Everyone looked their best and was having a good time. Immaculate vibes.

This was a great place to celebrate a birthday. So much fun to do karaoke with just friends and their amazing voices. Food would bring this spot to 5 stars.

Beer menu is sorely lacking, they mainly offer only cocktails which gets pricey and a little reckless. Also, if you arent there early forget about getting a table to sit at, there are only like 10 in the whole place. I love karaoke, but this is my least favorite place to do it at.

Super fun renting a private room and singing with friends. Weve done this twice now. And the servers both times were wonderful! My only gripe is that my bill wasnt itemized at the end of the night, and I just went with it at the time, trusting it was all good. But the next day I really questioned it since it seemed awfully high for what we bought. Just be sure and check your bill so youre not left wondering.

Service was slow and security decided that one accidental spilt drink was enough to kick us out. After asking if we could wait inside for our ride, they told us we needed to find somewhere else to wait. At 2am, it was 12 degrees and very windy outside. Will not come back.

This was such an awesome experience!!! The karaoke selections were awesome. The Bartender (Candaceand Bar guy (idk his name, they just kept calling him Alabama. He has locs thoughwere VERY engaging and made the atmosphere enjoyable. The bottle ladies were awesome and kind. And the dj on the club side was playing all of the jams. I would definitely go back, especially for the price. It was great.

Drinks are kind of high but mannnnnn probably because Im 32 but man this is just wayyyy to fun when you rent a room and have a group of friends. The server was great. I say if you have a weekend in Kansas city... definitely come by.

✨ Literarily, the most fun weve had in years! 💯 There was a light crowd, which actually seemed to work out better, I think. Our group got to sing 8 songs in total.🎶 The bartenders were participants, and Ben, the MC, brought the entire experience together. We went for our friend, Kellens birthday 🎂 And it did not disappoint. Drink specials all night🍸, even though we dont drink alcohol, it loosened the crowd up. 😂 It was certainly one of the best nights of our life 🙌🏽

Underwhelming night club scene where the karaoke aspect was a joke. Sign up as soon as you get there and wait 2.5 hours, after a $10 cover and $10 drinks. We felt too invested to turn around and just leave, but wish we never came. Might be the spot for some people, just not us. Sorry.

Came here for my 30th birthday and had a suite. It was beyond my expectations. My friends and I had an incredible singing and drinking. Will definitely be returning for other celebrations!

DO NOT GO HERE. Karaoke may be fun but they screwed us by not disclosing that the bottle would be $200. When we asked to talk to a manager he came out yelling and saying he would call the cops on us. We never said we wouldn’t pay. Would recommend any other bar in Westport. Ruined my friends birthday.

Would recommend if you’re looking for a good time! Polly was our server and she was absolutely amazing. Took such good care of the group, always had a fun/positive interaction when she would check on us in a timely manner. Will 100% request her every time I go in the future.

Our server was great. I was charged for Patron instead of the well tequila. My 2 margaritas and tequila sunrise came up to $51. I was told that the servers are told to charge for that unless the customer asks for well Tequila. The manager was very rude and disrespectful when I asked him about the situation and expressed my concerns. I am baffled that3 drinks came up to $17 apiece. I’ll never come back to Offkey. The only reason they got 2 stars was because our server was great and brought out drinks to us in a timely manner.

If I could give a zero star I could. Very disappointed in the enforcement outside of the bar. Was told if we asked to speak to the owner of the bar that we would be arrested. I have been there many times before but will never be back. I have never been disrespected more in my life. And absolute disgrace of a business I have ever witnessed in my life.

My boyfriend and I always pop in on Thursdays for karaoke, especially to see the bartender Matt, who is an absolute joy to see every week! Drinks are great, meeting new people is awesome, and having a wonderful time singing to a variety of songs is one of the things I look forward to every week.UPDATE: I would call ahead to see who is hosting karaoke on Thursdays to make sure you get a fair turn at singing songs.

First time stopping in and had an absolute blast!! We sat in the main lounge and had so much fun. The bartender Matthew was outstanding and the service was so quick. Very fun crowd on a Thursday night. This is a must if youre visiting KC or just want a fun night out.Will be returning!

I wont lie, we had fun but the business is shady and they try to take advantage of drunk people by charging them twice, plus the entrance guy tried to charge us $5 tiwce when our friends already had payed for us.

I booked a private suite for a bachelorette party and it was SO MUCH FUN! The staff was awesome and the drinks were reasonably priced. I was never much of a karaoke fan, but now I am! I would recommend Offkey to any group (like minewho enjoy singing but not in front of other people. My group seriously could not stop talking about this place all weekend - highlight of our trip!

We enjoyed ourselves in the private room!The waitress was a 5 🌟! She keep checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed! But the people at the front door are rude and nasty! Some of my people didnt get in and some had to pay! They told them they was a guest at my party! But to keep from arguing with them they went on and paid! People who are coming for a private party shouldnt have to wait in a long line! I thought we paid for them in advance so they should be able to tell you the persons name and get in! Now I know when I reach my limit of people,after that it was a charge! But I didnt!

Been there twice. You either get there early so you can sing or you get there late to pay a cover charge and watch other people sing. The environment is pretty cool but the karaoke part same thing there is no place to sit unless you get there early and camp out. If you want to sing and be comfortable, then go early.

Cocktail lounge in one room, dance club in the other, this is where the young Westport crowd hangs out late night. Im an oldie (went there with my 24 yr old son while in KCMO for a weekend visit), but still had a fun evening. Its sort of quiet from 8pm until 11:30pm so older folks who want to sing more and dont need shoulder to shoulder to have fun, will want to get there by 8pm (and grab a table). Staff is very friendly, karaoke song list is deep and sound system is pretty good. Its different than many karaoke bars in that the bartender hands you the mike and you walk around singing (vs being in a corner or on a stage), but the crowd is enthusiastic and gets into the performances (provided you can at least carry a tune somewhat). If youre a karaoke junkie and need to get your sing on in KC, go here and have some fun.

Rented a room for a birthday on a friday night, and had a fun time! Nice song selection and fun atmosphere. The room we were in was a bit small but they did give us additional chairs. Our server was fun and energetic and did a good job keeping up on the drinks. I wish they served food or at least some appetizers and I wish they provided a drink menu. We were able to get some people out of their shells and that was a blast!!

Fun spot. Get your karaoke request in early because it fills up fast. They also have a throwback dance room across the hall that plays all the good 90s and 2000s music. There was a fight when I was there but it was taken care of quickly and everyone was fine. Overall a fun spot to be with different things to do.

Went here for my birthday and had a blast! Renting a private room is 100% worth it, and the prices are steep. Service varies as I think they could benefit from hiring more staff, but I still loved my guy Ben while we were there. Any trouble we had, he fixed. 3 hours flew by and I think all of my friends had an excellent time as well.

Really fun place to be. Especially when you and your party have one of multiple VIP rooms reserved in advanced. Great staff but a little slow when times get busy... thats almost all the time by the way. So good staff nice and friendly but slow due to volume of customers. The music is great and has many many many options with their song list being updated often to stay current it will not disappoint you.

So-so karaoke place, with $5-$10 entrance fee. Private karaoke rooms/suites are $50-60. The main bar offers karaoke on a first-listed first-called basis... Which makes it very slow and hard to enjoy for actual karaoke singing.Fun people watching spot, though. Sound quality is poor there.The dance floor on the other room seems fair, it looks like its what Id recommend the most from experience...

Really great atmosphere. We booked a suite for a friends birthday and had a great time. Its $60 an hour for a min of two hours.I know some people find that a little high, but splitting it between 10 people made it with it, especially since you were guaranteed to get a chance to sing a lot of songs. The room was fun and comfy. The service was really great as well and it was nice to be able to browse with either a book or your phone and you could use your phone as a remote and have messages pop up on your private line to comment on your friends or ask your server for drink refills. The general bar was also quite fun and the drinks were good too.
