Oceanside beach club & restaurant in Hua Hin

Amazing property on the beach! They were so welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Having beach chairs and umbrellas to use was another big plus! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. No A/C but they had 2 large stand fans and ceiling fans so we were comfortable. Thank you!

My family has been vacationing at the socal beach club sense the mid 80s. Management has changed over the years but the place is still the same! Friendly staff, plenty of amenities from bike rentals, boogie boards to various events to meet people and make new friends. Being right on the beach, close proximity to the pier & downtown oside doesnt hurt either! 👍!!!!

We have enjoyed this Beach Club for over 35 years, always arriving to find a clean comfortable room and staff committed to making our stay problem free. We look out over the waves to beautiful sunsets and walk the Strand to local restaurants and shops. This is a great home away from home that our whole family visits to enjoy.

Amazing staff, awesome rooftop hot tub so you can watch the sunset on the ocean. Literally, sand at the exit for the beach.

Our one bedroom unit was sanitized and clean. The furniture is comfortable and is newer. Our unit was oceanfront, feet from the beach. The soothing sound of the waves 24/7. The common areas include many Gas Barbecues, shower area before returning to the building, under building secured code required parking, and a to die for view when using the spa. The entire staff is dedicated to meeting your needs with a smile.

This beachside condo resort has become a favorite destination and we appreciate all the pandemic precautionary measures. Icing on the cake is all the absolutely wonderful Staff who made our stay seamless and comfortable at home. Well definitely be back!

It is the best resort that I have ever been. Clean, and quiet. So easy to access to beach.

The staff upgraded us to a ocean view, top floor, corner unit which had a great view of the ocean and a large balcony. The facilities were very clean, maintenance was responsive and resolve issues quickly. The staff kept us informed and asked if we needed anything via text messages which we appreciated. The unit was large and quite. The beach was right outside the unit. The TV didnt work but they are working to resolve that and replace their provider. In the meantime, they had a large selection of movies that you can check out of the office for free. We had a great time and the staff was wonderful. The room was very clean and they changed out our towels 2x during the 7 days and did a mini cleaning mid way. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend.

You stay here for the access to the beach only. Yeah gorgeous views. This has to be the loudest place I have ever stayed. Don’t look for a relaxing night of sleep. I’m not talking about rowdy guests, I’m saying every door shutting, feels like a door slamming and it vibrates through the walls. You can hear every conversation in the hallways, and good lord help you if you have anyone above you. Clomp, clomp, clomp all day and night. The cleaning carts are so loud that I thought a thunderstorm was happening but realized we are in SoCal. As expensive as this place is, you would think you could have a more relaxing and quieter stay. Buyer beware.

Location Location!!! Awesome resort on the beach. Friendly & professional staff. Condo was spotless clean & smelled so good. Comfy bed & pillows. Short walk to the town & many great restaurants. Fully stocked kitchen as well. Great neighborhood. Walking the pier is very cool. Amazing sunsets. Plenty to do in this town.

Room we were given was loud, with kids thumping around above our heads and in the common areas outside. My wife picked up bedbug bites just from sitting on the couch for a few minutes! And though we tried to get a refund after checking out two days early, no one from the office called us back,UPDATE: About a week after posting this, and a bit of back-and-forth with the hotel, we were able to get ahold of someone with the authority to partially refund our stay. While I cant recommend the hotel itself, I can recommend the staff, who were professional and empathetic both during our stay and while we were trying to get some of our money back.

Amazing hotel, located right on the beach, walking distance to great restaurants and decent night life, loved waking up and walking down to the pier, hearing the waves crash, if the WiFi was better it would have been the perfect place to getaway.

This place is the best!!! Right on the beach! They’ve got your beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, just bring yourself!! The rooms are great and the ocean sounds like a sound machine!!

Lets just get real. The main door to the complex from parking is closed at 6pm (used to be 8 or soyour down in the garage cell phone will not work. What kind of safety problem do they have that they are not telling the guest. If not safe for the building what about the guest that park in the garage. Really not that big? the side door into the lower hall is open hope the bad guys are not aware of it

Room 213Had a great stay here, it was relatively affordable especially compared to the new, ugly, surrounding bigwig hotels. No AC but the temperature was perfect and ceiling fans are installed -- a standup fan was also provided. Theres a bunk bed for friends and the queen sized bed was very comfortable. The couch also folded out in to a bed and the room easily accommodated 4 individuals. However, I did have an issue with my room. The staircase to the bedroom had carpet lazily installed with staples. Upon going down the stairs one day, a chunk of the back of my heel was torn out by a staple. Everything else - perfect.Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were many provisions like beach chairs, umbrellas, and bicycles. If I were to leave for the day through the lobby, they always told me "have a good day, sir," or something along those lines. Very nice.

We have been staying here for over 20 years now and love it! The location cannot be beat and the staff is so friendly and helpful. It is clean and well maintained. We look forward to staying here every year!

They were delayed getting our room on time. Once that was over, it was so very nice and almost every room, you could see the ocean clearly and hear it too!! So relaxing. Going back soon!!!!

The Southern California Beach Club is an excellent resort to for a vacation stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The resort is right on the strand and across from the beach. The rooms are clean and maintenance staff is on hand to resolve any issues that may arise. I would not stay anywhere else in Oceanside California.

It was a great experience. I loved that we could cook our own food and or grill. I didnt get to stay by the beach front but the rooms were comfortable. The front desk was friendly. Hope to come back soon.

We’ve (my family & Iowned for almost 30 years here. We love the convenience to the beach and all of the local places to shop and eat! The pier is so fun to walk, run, or just hang out on. There are usually local artists/performers doing their thing, and it’s exciting to watch the people fishing. The pier also has a store about halfway down where you can rent poles, equipment, buy bait, and grab some snacks/drinks. Affordable prices! Ruby’s at the end of the Pier is perfect for lunch/dinner or just a good milkshake.The staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating. Pre-COVID, there were always daily activities for guests to participate in. I do wish these were free for owners, but still fun nonetheless. The rooms are clean and have been updated periodically. I love having the kitchen in the unit to help cut down on eating out costs! The beds are comfy, as are the linens and towels. The WiFi is hit or miss here, but they do have an office upstairs with a fantastic view of you need to use it. I’ve had online meetings and classes up there, and have only had a few issues with connectivity.SCBC has items you can rent for free as a guest: beach equipment like chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, body boards, bikes, and they even have movies and games you can check out to use in your room. There’s a laundry room downstairs with oversized washers and dryers- bring your quarters and laundry soap. They also have a small hot tub upstairs that is nice to relax in without the kids.Parking is a little tough due to limited spaces which are pretty small. They do have one side that fits larger SUVs and trucks pretty well, but it’s not easy to get in/out of at all. While the open decks on the 2nd and 4th floor are awesome, it is a tad annoying when people decide to use them for large/loud groups either early or late. For the most part, guests and owners are understanding and friendly, and the staff can help iron out any problems that might occur.If you’re looking for a place with suuuuuper close beach access, activities, and local hangouts, give Southern California Beach Club a try!

The southern california beach club resort located on the beach in the center of oceanside is fantastic. Beautiful white water views from your room. Walking distance to wonderful dining and shopping. The resort has very good underground parking and excellent security. The city and beaches of Oceanside are very well run with no homeless problems. The beaches have the best bathroom facilities. There are many tables and benches both covered and uncovered. There are several outdoor showers and barbeque pits. There is a lovely little grass covered park next to the resort. The rents are very reasonable and the resort has time shares resales that can be purchased at very reasonable prices. My wife and I have several weeksthere and we just love it. Try it you will love it too!!!

Other than the internet, everything was perfect. Cleaniless was top notch and Max and Beth were very friendly and accomodating! The cleaning staff was on point and friendly as well. The room was equipped with everything we needed. Also, liked that they had their own parking garage with a code to get in. The beach access was nice and loved that they have things like beach chairs and bikes you can use!

Pandemic precautions throughout were highly appreciated! Contact-less transactions were cool, including texts & tele messages made things very easy & informative. Superb part was the STAFF like Maxwell, Nicole, Patti & Paul, plus Francisca was sweet & great hospitality. It was also very nice seeing other workers were kind & acknowledged in passing. About the timeshare -Great coastal location, accommodations very clean and spacious. We had a great week-long stay! Thank you Beach Club!

Perfect location for a weekend respite from home steps from the beach and a few more steps to the Oceanside Pier. I had a one bedroom unit with a nice patio on the inner courtyard. There was a cute kitchen and dining table that I used to prepare breakfast and snacks. Everything was sparkling clean and masks were required outside the units. Everything is gated and secure. There are barbecues for the guests to use and on the south side is a lovely public park with a play area steps from the beach.

Staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean. We loved the 2 bedroom suite. Felt like a dream beach home. The views were amazing specially from the master bedroom. Very convenient next to the pier and lots of food and shops near by. Definitely recommend you stay here. We did not want to leave and we will definitely be going back!

The Southern California Beach Club is a beautiful resort on so many levels. Its not unmanageably large, there is a small city park space on either side so that no property development can encroach on the resort, and the view is unparalleled! From my condo the view is strand, pier and ocean, it couldnt be more spectacular. The entire resort staff is friendly and very professional, and they go above and beyond to ensure their guests a wonderful stay. In addition, the city of Oceanside remains very charming and timeless even though it is growing a bit near the pier and beach. I look forward excitedly to my timeshare week here every year!

One of our favorite vacation spots in California! The sunsets in Oceanside are absolutely stunning, with the price adding some nice context for photos. Whether you are on the first floor or the highest floor, the ocean-facing units all have beautiful views.I personally prefer the units on the ground level because of the walk-out access to the beach, but if you prefer a little more privacy, I can also recommend the corner units on the upper floor with the panoramic balconies.The fixtures and features are updated regularly and the rooms capture the relaxed atmosphere of Oceanside perfectly. Between the king bed and the pullout couches, most rooms comfortable sleep 4 with full kitchen facilities.If you are interested in getting a feel for the local community, there is a lovely street fair every Thursday within easy walking distance. You are also just a short stroll away from local dining options and coffee houses.

This is definitely a place of rest and relaxation also comfortable for business Secure underground parking gated which was very nice the rooms are beautiful regardless where you’re at there is some sort of scenery we had a corner room with a great view of everything going on as well as the ocean how nice is that room with Standard size refrigerator oven dishes microwave coffee maker silverware pots and pans you name it it was very convenient.there are many things to do on the strand as well as looking around town at all the shops and Great places to eat it is one of the places that outdoor dining is a plus the weather was very nice as usual The food was excellent the general public was friendly definitely is a nice place to be even though a lot of places were closed it still was a great Place to spend some time at. I do recommend this place I know I will be returning on my next trip and will be booking my stay at the beach club. Thank you to all of the staff they are wonderful and on top of things.Duke

I’ve been coming to Southern California Beach club for 31 years. Love this place. Close to the ocean. The staff is great and love the cleanliness and continuous upkeep of the whole property! Amazing stay!

Steps from the beach and Oceanside pier with quite comfy rooms and cheerful staff. Not all rooms have sea view but accessibility is fantastic. Parking, bikes and beach equipment are offered at no excess price!

This resort is the greatest - we had a beach frontpatio where we could sit outside and view the oceanwaves and see the sunset. The office personal wasthe best ! Our plane was late so we arrived at 1:30 amand Tyrone helped us find our room. We appreciatesomeone in the office 24/7. The Oceanside pier was nearby.

We arrived the day after we were due to check in into our regular yearly week. As soon as we entered the unit there was an overwhelming and stifling smell of what seemed to be fresh paint, bleach, and formaldehyde. The slider doors and all the windows were open, which was unusual because we have stayed there 3 times before and they were closed upon our arrival. When our eyes started tearing and we began coughing we called the front desk to find out what was going on. We were told that the room had been painted that weekend (we arrived on Monday). I told the front desk that we could not stay in that room. Someone else called up to our room and told us that it had not been painted and it just had to air out. I told her to come up to the room and then tell me that there was no chemical smell. Nicole, who I believe is the front desk manager, and the Housekeeping Manager came up with bags of charcoal to filter the smell. There were already bags of charcoal in the room that were unable to absorb the smell. We went outside on the beautiful balcony, but the smell was so strong it was overwhelming on the balcony also. The Housekeeping Manager told us that it was new furniture and the only way to get rid of the smell was time, so the Beach Club was aware that there was a problem before we arrived. When we asked for another unit, (it was obvious that we were in distress because our eyes were tearing, our noses were running, and we were coughing), Nicole told us they were at full capacity and there were no other rooms available. We decided to just drive home. The conditions in the unit were unbearable for us. Then Nicole said the only thing available was unit 204. We had paid for 308, a top floor with a huge balcony and a portal window in the bedroom.. The room they gave us was on the 2nd floor with a lot of noise coming from above our unit. We were awakened every night by loud machinery noises at about 2am. AND the room had that terrible chemical smell, not as strong as 308. I had unpacked and put my clothes into the drawers. The next day the chemical smell was too strong on my clothes. I had to ask for hangers from the front desk and hang up my clothes and put the clothes that could not be hung up back into the suitcase. We had to practically live out of our suitcase. We asked to speak to Julie but every time we asked we were told she was not in. We asked several times for her email but were always told that they could not find her business card and they didnt know her email. Before we left we were informed that the room had been painted, that new carpeting had been installed, and that the furniture had just been unpacked in the room before we arrived. We never let anything ruin our vacation, because we have very limited vacation time, but this really was a nightmare. No one could tell me the manufacturer of the furniture, or the composition of the furniture or the carpet, or the type of paint that was used. It has been my experience that all 3 of those things come with warnings to air the area out before occupying the area. When we purchased our unit we had planned on many happy vacations at the Beach Club with family and friends, but at this point I cannot recommend this resort.

The parking situation needs to be improved! The spaces are way too small for modern cars. There was landscape improvements being made to the front entrance, this not only added to the bad parking situation, there were other more important priorities that should be addressed before landscaping! Parking and bathroom improvements are at the top of the list!

Our favorite location on the California coast--the BEST beach access! I own two weeks in September and have gone there since the late 80s. Cant be beat in my opinion. Excellent staff at your service 24/7. My only complaint, the maintenance fees that have gone up yearly.

Nice place. Walk right out to the beach. You can check out bicycles, chairs and umbrellas. Would have given 5 stars if not for the kids running on the fourth floor sundeck. We were on the third floor, sounded like a herd of elephants above us. Shouldnt allow kids on fourth floor.

Favorite place to stay at in Oceanside, my family have been going since my mother was young. They have various sized rooms for you to choose from, as well different amenities (ex. Free WiFi, hot tub, bikes and beach equipment for rent, and parking on the lower level). The staff are friendly and willing to help if you have a question or need something.

Our check in was Sunday at 5pm for our week stay and they informed us that it room wasnt ready so we had to wait to check in. When we finally got the key to our room it smelled heavily of fragrance and we had to open all the windows in order to breath!There were lots of homeless all around. We had a corner room and a great view of all the transients doing their drugs hiding under an umbrella. I wasnt impressed, theres no pool, and the maid service only came one time in a week, yet we still had a daily resort fee! Nice that the beach is right across the street, and it was nice to hear the waves, but I will never go back there again!I reached out and e mailed the resort last week after they replied to my review and I still have not heard from them. Not surprising after the stay we had there.

Was told we’d have an ocean view and wasn’t given one upon check in...room was thrashed and very dirty so we had to wait a few hours before we could come back..parking space was very small. After the room was cleaned, the beds were not very comfortable. The price was a lot less than most beachfront hotels/condos but we weren’t impressed.

No air conditioning..."ocean view" is not necessarily a beach view. Staff is very pleasant. Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean. Parking garage is really hard to get into, and there is another option to park on the street, but its difficult to find a spot at the times.

Was highly impressed with the staff and friendliness. The facilities are well kept and the sunset in the jacuzzi was a highlight. Never stayed on the Strand before, preferring to be near the harbor, but this place was worth the experience. Talked with some of the owners of the timeshares that they offer and I think they are generally pleased with the place. Only frustrations I had were due to my own physical limitations with stairs but the shower was equipped with a bath bar so I did not worry about falling when I took a shower. Having a functioning kitchen is also a plus since I was able to have Vons delivery to bring stuff to me so I could be just plain lazy. Really would like to go back sometime again although I could have booked the same room the night before arriving for about $75 less. I should know how it works. LOL Definitely like the efficiency rooms on ground level with their own patio, tho most if not all rooms seem to have a patio of some nature. I know some complained about wifi but I found as long as I logged into their site, had to a couple of times, there was no problem. This place is all about relaxation and enjoying the location which is excellent.
