Oceanside Inn by Vacasa in Tillamook

Great location and views. Loses a star for not having the usual amenities for cooking like oil and more than a tiny bit of salt and pepper. More like a suite motel than a vacation rental. Also creative photography made it look bigger. But generally nicely furnished and clean.

Cancelled our booking the day we were supposed to check in for our honeymoon. Emailed to inform us they couldn’t process payment on our cards despite us booking every other hotel on our trip with zero issues. Never called or tried to accommodate us. We booked down the street from them with the same credit card they wouldn’t take. 10/10 wouldn’t risk booking here when there are plenty of great hotels nearby that know how to accept payment.

Awesome place for an awesome view. Spent a night, but would have loved to spend more. Cozy suite which has all you need. Check in, booking, etc., was all easy and convenient. Lastly has multiple electric vehicle chargers so good stop also if you have an EV.

Direct beach access! Clean, well equipped, and quiet. Beds were comfortable and appliances new. Looked recently remodeled. Parking can be tight and sometimes has to be on a street nearby. Unit has three TVs. We would rebook here again

Dog friendly room was nice, didnt smell a lot of dog smell, except for one of the pillows. The bedroom was small and not a lot of space to move around, bed was a little mushy and sunken in the middle. Wish there was a heavier curtain in the bedroom, as the window was right by the compressor so you got a lot of light in the room at night from the outside lights. Im pretty sure the compressor was broken because it flipped on very loudly by the bedroom every 15 minutes. Bring earplugs. The parking kind of sucked, we got blocked in for a couple hours when we were trying to go get dinner, so afterward we parked as close to the street. Parking is very narrow and small. Compact vehicles work best but unfortunately the people around us had a minivan and someone else had a large suburban which basically both took up two spaces each. The beach access had very steep stairs, watch out for the rocks at the bottom. Was nice having 1.5 bathrooms and the deck and view were spectacular. The beach was a lot busier than I expected. Check in was easy as theres a keypad. Im glad we brought our own toilet paper, the ones supplied were very rough and tore easily. The place was decently stocked, although we did not use the kitchen except to make drinks and snack storage. Id recommend this for young couples and adventurers with small furry pets. Not a lot of upscale food options nearby. Roseannas Cafe was phenomenal though, with great service. If the parking was a little better and they fixed the compressor, it would have been a lovely stay. I would of loved to have the window upon at night and hear the ocean like I normally do on our beach trips.

Do not understand how this place has a single positive review. Vacasa has gobbled up properties on the Oregon coast. They are not an Airbnb/ VRBO. They are an empty corporation that gives not one single f#ck about guests.Ive been here for 4 hours. Let me list the ways they suck.1. Wont respond to messages through VRBO.2. Gave wrong door code. You have to drive back towards Tillamook to find a signal to call, then they tell you, "Um, try this code instead."3. Zero sounds dampening between rooms. The people in the next room are SO LOUD, theyre smoking pot and it smells terrible, and their dogs wont stop barking.4. Thermostat or HVAC does not work, so theres no heat.

Vacasa is what it is. Of course the property was nice, the view really. They just have a house there. The code didnt work when we got there to check in, it didnt work for 3 other families either. We had to bug the local contact, which someone had the number for. THE NUMBER FOR THE LOCAL CONTACT POSTED AT THE LODGONG WAS DISCONNECTED. Also when I messaged vacasa on the Airbnb app it just regurgitated the email they sent me with the code that didnt work. So there is that..However,, The view was STELLAR!!! Bring the food and drink you want and need so you dont have to leave, stay bundled up and enjoy the view.

Amazing in everyway. We rented the entire Inn for our small wedding ceremony. From check in to check out, Tom and his staff where absolutely amazing, kind, professional, and attentive. Will become our tradition to return every chance we can.

Great little town. Very friendly and beaches super clean. Loved this adventure. Dont miss Tillamook cheeze factory.

A very cozy room, decorated so cute! Very clean and well equipped. The only drawbacks are a slow bathroom drain and crummy ice trays. (Parking spots are teeny and a challengeto navigate, but we manageda very nice stay, thank you 😊

The blankets and duvet cover were not clean enough for me the sofa was also not clean enough and there was a few other small things. The sheets were clean though. This is the main reason for the 3 star review.It was a cute cozy room, I loved all the fixtures and decorations. Had a beautiful Ocean view and we couldnt hear anything from the neighbors. Might go again but would probably try somewhere else first for a cleaner stay.

Check in at 4 pm and check it at 10 am. Pay for 18 hour day. Broken kitchen table. No instructions for TV. Only bath mirror on side of sink. Not enough parking unless you drive electric car.Saving grace is ocean view.

It’s unfortunate that Id have to leave a negative review on this place when I’m not one to do so. But when your traveling and have your reservation canceled the same day that your arriving is extremely inconvenient and terrible if I may add. I booked my reservation 4 days in advanced and to have them cancel my reservation without them notifying me prior to me traveling is extremely unprofessional. So you take my money and send me a confirmation number to then tell me that 1. Sorry we don’t see your reservation. 2. Oh wait we do but it was a system error sorry. So you mean to tell me that you guys take my money then tell me sorry we took your money only to tell you that we canceled your reservation. Like you guys couldn’t have caught that early? Now I’m sitting here having to wait 15 business days to receive my refund and not only that, I have to find another place to book last minute in hopes I find something in that area. If you want to receive poor customer service, and have your money taken to right ahead and book. Terrible and again extremely inconvenient.

Beautiful and peaceful beachside stay location. One flight of stairs from the beachfront with a great viewing platform to relax and watch the sunset from.

Heating unit not operational. Cable TV didnt work. Coffee pot but no cups or coffee. No ice machines. Small room for $150 + per night. Overpriced

Beautiful location, not much in the area for provisions, would recommend planning ahead. Furniture and amenities could really use an upgrade, other than that we had a splendid time.

I really enjoyed staying here I had such a fun time with my family and I loved the view of the beach. Definitely coming back!

People staying at Oceanside Inn by Vacasa not only parked their Suburban in the Tesla Destination Charger spot, but they also shooed us away saying “this is a private party” when I walked in from the sidewalk with my family to investigate if we could use the EV charger.

We had a family reunion there. It was awesome!!! The view was beautiful. The rooms were amazing.

My husband and I booked unit 8 for our wedding anniversary getaway and couldnt be happier. This place is even dog friendly so we brought our pups with us! We will continue to book here in the future. Everything was great!

Beware the hidden fees. I booked a 3-night stay and they advertised the rooms at a specific rate. When I went to check out, there are over $100 in fees (damage waiver, cleaning, and booking fees). When I tried to get a phone number directly to the front desk, they refused to give one out and the numbers on the website no longer work. Youre forced to go through Vacasa for any kind of communication. They need to be upfront about the fees youre going to pay for a stay.

We drove up the coast from Los Angeles, and this trip was worth it. The apartment was nice and clean. The beach had easy access and our section was fairly empty of others. The shared deck has an amazing view, and it was never crowded. Next time, well definitely be spending more nights in Oceanside.

This rental was amazing! The home was spotless. The view cannot be beat! Very quiet inside. I would recommend bringing your own coffee/tea for your stay as there is none in the home and only one place to get coffee in the AM while we were there. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

When we entered the unit, we found it to be an updated with a cute layout and a clean kitchen and half bath. Unfortunately the sleeper sofa in the main room was filthy and VERY stained. In the bedroom, the king sized mattress was old, broken down and squeaked whenever your sat on it. The bedding and mattress is worn and needs to be replaced. When we opened the sofa bed, we found filthy sheets and mattress pad. I used a broom to sweep the dirt off the mattress, striped the sheets and flipped the mattress over, hoping to freshen it up enough to sleep one night. Unfortunately, the replacement bedding, sheets and blankets smelled and were not clean. The shower had moldy grout on the walls and floors (we wore our flip-flops to showeralthough the rain shower fixture was a nice feature, the heated floor option did not work. The unit is equipped to be very enjoyable and comfortable, unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness of the unit, sofa and bedding leaves MUCH to be desired.

Very clean place, friendly and very helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere. Well maintained units, stayed in a unit with a nice view overlooking the Oceanside beach. Free guest laundry, right next to a delicious restaurant and a really nice coffee lounge. I will keep coming back. My family loves it too! Always recommended!

Incredible ocean views. Bed was not very good. Only issue. Well appointed, nicely kept. Bring bottled water, tap here is not drinkable. We will come back for sure!

This place is by far the best place to stay in the whole Tillamook County (aside from some of the various vacation home rentals). A private deck over looking the beach, surrounded by a beautiful sunset every evening. The rooms are so clean and welcoming, i can really tell a lot of work goes into the upkeep. Comfortable beds, wonderful heated floors, full kitchens, beautiful location, and very friendly staff! I would recommend this place to anyone! Totally worth it

Great location just steps from the beach! Very nice, cute, and clean inside. Dog friendly. No view from our unit which is a little sad but other units have a view. Well go for those next time!

This place was incredible. The rooms were all nice, the ocean views were great and bed were really comfortable. The main deck was the perfect place to relax, play games and eat meals. The stairs to the beach are long and steep but its really nice having your own private beach access. The parking lot is a little small but we managed with with 8 vehicles

The good: this hotel is in an awesome location with amazing views. You can access the beach easily by taking the stairs down from the patio. The hotel rooms are all beautifully finished and decorated. The bathroom floors even have controls to heat them up if needed. The bad: the parking here is very tight and takes some coordination to get in and out of, especially if you have a bigger car. The hotel rooms, while beautifully finished and decorated, seem dirty. The kitchen trash hasnt been taken out from the people before us, the shower had sand in it, the couch and rugs have stains on them, and there were all sorts of old treats and dust under the pull out couch. Another thing is that our room (1 king bed and a pull out couch, room that sleeps 4only has 2 towels. Luckily it was me, my husband, and our 2 small kids, because we ended up having to use hand towels to dry off my kids after a shower.

Beautiful view, great accommodations. Newly renovated and cute rustic beach decor. Very quiet so all you hear are the waves. Parking is available as are electric car chargers. Loved our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent place to relax, enjoy the amazing beach, or as a Basecamp to explore other spots on the Oregon coast. Very nice rooms with comfy beds. The room we had had a fully equipped kitchen. Well definitely be back.

I would highly recommend Oceanside Inn.WHAT a View!! The room was clean & nicely furnished. A bit smaller than we expected but still perfect for the 2 of us. A small family would be just fine here. The kitchen was nicely stock with utensils & cooking supplies. We were there in the winter months so we didnt use the deck much but I did go outside several times & enjoy that beautiful view from the deck!The stairs go right to the beach where u can find sand dollars & sea shells and miles of beautiful beach.We will absolutely be staying at Oceanside Inn again.

Room is nice and clean. The first night was great but every other night all we could hear were the people above us. I read other people’s reviews saying the same thing but didn’t think it was this bad! Even when we went to bed it was hard to sleep because the neighbors were up all night really loud. Parking is very cramped and limited.

"This room is a must!! Loved loved loved our stay. Got perfect weather for the first week in February. So much to see and do in the area. Loved watching the seals, surfers and crab boats. The Blue Agate Cafe are the nicest people....just book this room and go enjoy the beautiful Oregon Coast."

Rented the whole inn with a group of friends. We stayed in unit #5. Clean, comfortable, & only a stairway away from the beach. Absolutely love the balcony with comfortable couches & lounge chairs. Fantastic place to stay.

This place is lovely! Absolutely adore everything about this place, but the parking lot. My advice to anyone visiting, get here early for a parking spot. You would figure that one would have enough parking for all their guests... but it is a little pain in the butt. You may find one on the side of the road eventually, or you may get lucky and find one right next to your room! But if you pull straight into the one next to your room, you will have to go in reverse all the way back onto the road and pray that no one else is going to pull in at the same time. The view and location is well worth the price and inconveniences. Highly recommend this place to anyone I know. Maybe one of these days they can expand their parking spots! (:

Stayed in a downstairs unit. The place itself was very nice & cozy with small appliances & modern amenities. Its right on the beach, no view from the room but thats ok, it was advertised that way. There is a shared patio to lounge & enjoy the coastal view & a staircase taking leading down to the beach...careful though, the staircase is tricky. It starts out nicely built & changes towards the bottom; the last few steps we slipped as they are too narrow a step.It wasnt as quiet a stay as we would have liked and we were rather annoyed by our upstairs neighbors, an extended family with kids who were running from one side of the unit to the other...above us. And, they rearranged furniture MANY times, each time dragging furniture across the wood floors for some distance. At one point we spoke with them to let them know about the noise but it continued throughout the night.Could have been a much nicer visit.

We were disappointed in this place. It says accommodates up to 6 people, but even with our two sons (ages 10 and 15it was cramped. The bedrooms are so tiny my husband had to leave his suitcase in the living area, and you have to sidestep around the bed. It was clean though, which we appreciated. The choice in furniture was puzzling to us - there was a hide-a-bed, which would have seated two, may be 3 adults, and a table next to the door, with another, pretty useless table in the middle of the room. This place would be great for a newlywed couple, or maybe a family with up to 2 small children, but for us, we would stay somewhere else next time.

Unit was clean and new. Great location to access Oceanside beach via stairway. A few extra amenities would have been welcome (laundry basket for towels). Would definitely come again.

A deck overlooking the beach sipping on a beer what could be better! Oh yeah the room is clean cheap pet friendly and private beach access! Cant wait to stay here again

So far Ive been pleased with my stay here. Excellent ocean views. Parking is terrible. The unit that Im staying in is clean and well stocked, except for dishes. Im glad I brought some plastic cups and paper plates, Because there are only a few cups to drink out of that they provide. It also has heated floors which is nice on chilly mornings. The beds are comfortable. If youre on a bottom unit and you have a tenant above you it is a little noisy because you can hear everything that theyre doing up there.

Beautiful view. Peaceful. Very clean unit and kitchen, just bring your food. Comfortable beds with extra blankets if needed. Plenty of towels. Games and magazines in room. Deck with comfortable cushioned chairs, nice to sit outside to see and listen to the ocean and watch the fishing boats. We will make another visit soon.

We had a mixed bag of disappointed and loving it.What we liked:- Right on the beach with great access to a cool tunnel through the rocks. Lots of sand and rocks.- Full kitchen with pots/pans etc. It needs a cheese grater, one more adult plate (occupancy is 4 but plates only 3), and a cabinet by the stove so you arent constantly moving from counter then turning around to the stove.What we didnt like so much:- The room smelled a bit like sweat socks-The carpet was constantly damp. If you walked around in your socks they were eventually soaking.- The sofa was heavily beaten with big rips and a gaping hole. This is especially funny because there was a new fandangle coffeemaker and coffee grinder and a crusty old couch.What we really didnt like:- No staff or a live body to ask questions to. The room info is emailed to you. If you are on vacation and dont have email access (or cell access even...for usthen we didnt know that we needed a code and such. The sign says back at 9:30, but we never saw a soul. I guess if you want to visit and be incognito, this is the place.On the flip side:- To be fair, we did call VaCasa to get help and they were very helpful.We stayed in #7

I stayed at Oceanside Inn over Labor Day weekend of 2012 and wont stay there again. The owner has a "Not My Problem" attitude after she had issues with her phone line and ran my card twice and it deducted from my bank account twice. She said that she has 3 phone numbers coming into the same line and it must have been busy with a call trying to come in and it couldnt complete connecting the first time. Saturday morning I checked my bank balance and the transaction went through twice. I talked to the owner about it and she said she had not batched out and it would be a while before she could because the phone company was having to do some repairs. I checked my bank balance on Sunday and it still showed 2 transactions. I talked to the owner again and showed her on my computer that it was taken out twice AND it did NOT say "Pending". She said when she ran herbatch report, it showed only once and that it was my problem and I had to talk to my bank about it. I told her it WAS HER PROBLEM. She asked what did I want her to do about it. If she ran a credit, she would be out the money. I told her it was HER problem and she needed to talk to the company that handles her credit cardtransactions (I have filed a dispute with my bank nowto find out why it shows twice from my account. She wasnt around Monday when I checked out (you just drop the key in the door when you are leavingso I couldnt talk to her more about it.She is now out of town and the person filling in doesnt have a way of contacting her until she returns on Friday.The room had mold in it especially around the shower. The floor between the toilet and the shower was soft and spongy (dry rot). Most of the plugs are two pronged (not grounded). One of the burners on the stove did not work (in fact, when I pulled it out, oe of the prongs was missing-no wonder it didnt work). They advertise Wi-Fi access. We had 2 phones and 3 computers and had to be next to the window to maybe get onto the Wi-Fi. Saturday night, I was on for a little while and it dropped and I could not get connected again. When I told this to the owner, she was trying to blame it on the phone internet connection and our devices. We told her it was the Wi-Fi not having a strong enough signal at all. She did admit that if you stay in Room 9 (downstairs), forget about Wi-Fi connection. The futon was not working properly. In the couch position, the back was still half way laying down. The light in the bedroom had rusting spots on it that is right over your head. The blinds would not pull all the way down to the bottom of the window sill and broken slats on some of the blinds.Please read other reviews before you consider staying here.

I just stayed at Ocean side inn and paid 130 dollars for a great beach view. The room was setup like a little apartment with the bedroom separate.The ceiling was pretty low and there were a few bugs flying around.. All in all, it was worth it.
