Theme park with rollercoasters & water rides, a cable car & a marine park with animal enclosures.
The worst and pricy experience: most of the rides are closed, wait in a long queue with loads of secondary students in heavy rains. I used to visit Ocean Park every year when it was managed by Allan Zeman, the Park used to be the best in the past. Its the first time that I brought my husband to Ocean Park, the Park was managed in a super poor way and we would never come.
Very interesting and a good place to visit during HK trip. Just be prepared for crowds of people and long waiting times.
The park is beautiful but they REALLY NEED to improve the organization of people in attractions. the staff is super slow and they don’t know how to organize people in different groups. Furthermore, a lot of restaurants and attractions are closed.
Ocean Park may have lost its luster somewhat but its aquariums are still fascinating."Down under", you will experience the mystery of the deep blue sea and be in awe of the graceful dance of many jelly fish.Go in earlier in the morning to avoid the crowd. As for the restaurant inside the biggest aquarium, Neptunes Restaurant, yes, you can see the ray fish swimming alongside the biggest glass pane of the aquarium while you are enjoying your meal. However, the food quality is just average and the meals are overpriced. Think twice.
i came for the Run for Survival by Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, an annual charity run to tackle climate change and protect our ocean. The route took us through the Ocean Park and Water Park, so got to see a bit of both. Quite easy to come with the train stop, and was refreshing to be back at the local attraction.
it’s beautiful park to visit specially occasionally like HALLOWEEN. THAT TIME HAVING SO MANY SHOWS THAT YOU CAN ENJOY. I have visited here after a long time. The shows not so scary but enjoyed a lot. MY favourite is FLASH. what a ride. I haven’t see like that, #staycation #themepark #hongkong #oceanpark #vinodchaunt #skiadventure #adventure
Rides are exciting and there are rides available for all ages.Make yourself familiar with the park map to plan your day without wasting time figuring out at park.
Fun day out
Its a good place to spend the day at with your friends. But there is one word that drags is down, not the rides. Its called inflation. 1 meal for lunch with deep-fried chicken thigh, drumstick, a bit of fries(or chips), Ice cream and a drink(if the machine does not have a insufficient amount of water going infor $98. I can get that minus the ice cream at my home island for $50.
Great place to visit for a serotonin boost. You learn so much from the interactive shows and displays. I love going here to visit the animals and read about their natural habitats and current conservation efforts to protect them.
Ocean park is totally underrated. Small but nicely maintained theme park with the ever so popular pandas. I would recommend this over Disneyland in Hong Kong.
Stunning views from the ropeway, crazy roller coaster and well kept animals enclosure in Ocean Park. Wish some other rides could be better maintained. Overall pretty good experience.
It was so good. The rides were super! I go there twice every month.
Very pleasure such fun n curious, very beautiful place
Loved the Halloween theme. Atmospheric. Loads of fun.August 2022: things have changed. Mine train and the water log ride is gone. A bit disappointed.
I use to love to go to this amusement park. But this time. All the rides were closed..I just have a chance to get on flash and the rapids..But unfortunately OP have permanently closed 3 of my Favourite rides. The abyss. Mine train and ranging river..Apart from the rides. The Park also serves a variety of halal and vegetarian food. But the halal certified restaurant only opens on weekends. So I had to go to the halal kiosk near hair raiser. The clown corner. The food was OK to be honest..And the must have popcorns. I could not have thay but I had the egg waffles. Super tasty would say 10/10. ( the shop is around old Hong Kong areathe place where we get off from the cable car whole returning back
Must visit water park if you love water rides. Attractions for all ages and levels.
It was my first time to the Water World Ocean Park HK and I enjoyed it💖so what are you waiting for, go and visit this awesome place Im pretty sure you will enjoy and have fun with your family, love ones or a friend 🥰
Nice Place to Visit with Groups of All Ages! This park is still worth visiting despite the awful weather because there werent many people there throughout the week! Its fascinating to see the pandas, the aquarium, the cable car, etc. Relax and have fun when visiting Ocean Park Hong Kong! The lines are wayyy to long though.
I visited Ocean Park on Thu and feel disappointed... Some signature amusement rides, such as roller coasters and pirate ship were closed... Since the park provides limited services on the weekdays during the pandemic situation, visitors must check on the game schedule beforehand..There was a very terrible stinky fishy smell in the polar sections that totally turned down my mood...
Ocean Park is a must-visit place in Hong Kong where one can find this as a mix between a theme park and a zoo. Here you can find lots of fun rides including their adrenaline-rushing Hair Raiser roller coaster ride. You can also get to experience a closer look to one of the cutest animals in the world, the Giant Panda. Two of their pandas are named Ying Ying and Le Le.Of course they are named as Ocean Park because of their grandest The Grand Aquarium. With lots of sea creatures ranging from tiny seahorses to colossal giant mantas and hammerhead sharks. We got here by taking the MTR via South Island Line and get off directly at the Ocean Park station.
Pretty great place! I personally dont like the atmosphere as much as Disneyland, but the rides here are awesome. My friends and I love going on thrill rides and seeing the animals when we get tired!
Too much fun, amazing the rides ❤️❤️❤️.
Great experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️But the souvenir shop forgot to unlock the security ink tag 😟 I realised it after I wash my shirt. I did asked for new one. They gave me 2 new shirts and 1 display as they said they don’t have the size that I want for the other one . The worker also keep pushing me to buy stuff that I don’t want to repeatedly ⭐️
Came here on my birthday with my mom. Both of us got free entrance, we had a blast. Ocean Park is really a great place to spend a day, youve got excitement rides and get to see many sea creatures like dolphins, seals, sharks, penguins and many more.
A wonderful park run with a lot of hard work and sincerity! The most beautiful scenary (hills and sea and islandsyou can see from the long cable car ride, best cable car and best scenary in the whole world - no other theme can match this ever. Very friendly staff, good food from the HK street, must get HK milk tea - the park invites the best local food stalls. Rides are really good, and if you’re not up to rides, go see the animals - well taken care of! Never been to the water park but it looks amazing too! ❤️
World class amusement park because of Covit and closed for few months, 21/4 is the park reopen day, full of crowd and visitors. Everybody is enjoying!

Weve been visit Ocean Park last January 2, 2022, It was a very nice place to visit, the entrance was great because it was promotion so we pay cheaper. Rides are available, but some are under renovation. So far Ocean Park has more offer and promotions grab it now ot regret later.

[Dec2021 update] overall some improvements in the restaurants and shops but still not the best place to visit with very young kids below 4 yrs. They decided not to include a coffee shop even during the large scale renovation, which surprises me.[Previous Comments]Very little to do with kids younger than 4. I hope we can enjoy more when our kid is a bit elder.Food options are definitely not enough and not reasonable at all...I spent hours to try to find basic coffee, but without any luck.
Roller Coaster and all other amusement rides is fair, close view to the sharks, dolphins and jelly fishes is much more interesting to me ~
Ocean Park Hong Kong, commonly known as Ocean Park, is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park situated in Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the Southern District of Hong Kong. Wikipedia
So much fun! Good for kids and adults. Park is very clean and spacious. Lots to do and see
On a whirlwind tour of Hong Kong, we had a chance to visit Ocean Park. What a fantastic place! We rode the rides, walked from one end of the park to the other, took the sky car, and explored nearly every inch of the place. My kids and I loved it! Later in our visit to HK, we went to Disneyland. Frankly, Ocean Park was superior -- not quite as crowded and a much mellower vibe. If youre visiting HK with children, Ocean Park is a great way to spend a day -- and its good for adults too. Highly recommended.
Most of the thrill rides have been stopped or under maintenance. Better check their website before coming. Also need to do online reservation from their website, they do not let anyone in without it.
This is the second time I joined "Brick Hill Secret Unveil" of Ocean Park. We hike up Nam Long Sham. During the hike, we can take in the stunning harbour view, take photos with the colourful cable cars above your head.Really enjoyed this 2 hours trip with amazing view and good weather. Have fun with my son too.
Enjoy the end of the month with Halloween moments at Ocean Park HK. create amazing stories with your family or friendship. happy halloween in 2021, Lets go party🎃🧟♀️🧟♂️
Ocean park is my favorite. I love the cute red pandas and the pandas! The iconic cable car ride is a must
It is one of my most favorite places in Hong Kong... with lots of memories....The park has a lot of fun rides and interesting aquariums, animals and designs.... there used to be more decorations in Christmas 🎄 time before... but nowadays less....
Very Very Nice Place for all ages groups to visit ! Although the weather is bad, this park is still good to be visit, because didnt have many visitors to visit in the weekdays! The Pandas, Aquarium, cable car,etc...are so so interesting!!So realax and enjoy to visit the Ocean Park Hong Kong!!!
Fabulous day out! Take the train straight to the Summit part of the park. For young kids there isnt so much for them to do at the Summit (mostly ridesbut the Polar Adventure area is here. Time your arrival for the seal and/or penguin feeding. Be warned my 3 year old was desperate to see the penguins but it is cold inside the penguin area (especially when it is 35 degrees and 90% humidity outside!so take a sweater to rug them up or be prepared to leave quickly when the complaints start.Take the Cable Car back to the Waterfront part of the park and enjoy the views of Middle Island and Deep Water Bay. Stop for lunch and then enjoy the Grand Aquarium, Sichuan Treasures (pandas and monkeysand Whiskers Harbour, ideal for smaller kids with tamer rides like a merry-go-round.
Clean, well maintained and had a lot of fun visiting the animals. The rides were quick and was fun to be on as well. Staff was friendly and helpful, definitely a place to spend a good day at!
Its a wonderful experience being in Ocean Park. One day is not enough to explore the whole place so I strongly suggest that you plan your trip very carefully. And please dont miss the cable car ride and ocean express. Worth it 😍😍😍
It was quite crowded the last time me and friend visited this awesome place although its freakin hot that time but we still enjoy my free and 15% discount tickets (notsure)for my friend. Food, drinks are available inside.
Went on a rainy week day.Got there at 11am, very few people, was pleasantly surprised that we didn’t queue for anything, and had fun with all of the rides and got to see all the happy animals being fed and trained.A lot of things are more polished and repainted since I went 10 years ago. New areas and animals. The theater however is closed since April 12 for two months, so we didn’t get to see any performance.
One of the best ocean world you can visit it has most animal that belongs to the sea like walrus, penguins, sharks, star fish etc . It has dolphin shows etc. It also has other animals also like white panda, red panda, rakoon, white kangaroo, normal kangaroo. It also has night fountain shows as well which is worth seeing
A local theme park with a diverse sea creatures, land animals and birds of different feathers. Whether you are a fan of these adorable beings, or simply want to scream your heart out on a roller coaster, theres bound to be something suitable for anyone who comes for a visit at Ocean Park.
I had a nice day visiting Ocean Park despite the social distancing rules. I wonder why they are under-staffed. Some attractions have only one person to take care of everything. Lines could move faster with more staff in some attractions.
