Absolutely delicious Latin food. A bit of what they have for food of the day but always braised beef, chicken, couples types of starch, rice and drink. Super affordable.

The staff was friendly but the food was not good. If you want good Spanish food you have to travel to Providence because Woonsocket if this is the best y’all got to offer this is not it .. smh

I saw a lot of great reviews on this place so we stopped in. I was disappointed. It is 9.00 a plate and empanadas are sold separately at 2.50 a piece. The woman served me rice a large portion , 2 meatballs and 2 ribs. Then I purchased the empanadas separately. So here is my review. Rice is cheap dont fill my plate with it! Meatballs are frozen from the grocery store with a sauce that is bland. Ribs were beef no meat sauce mild. Mind you there is 10 other things on there everyone was given a choice that was Spanish we were the only non Hispanic people in there and did not get and option. I was rushed and cashed out. I would not go back any time soon. I love all Hispanic food we love to travel so I am diverse in my eating. This was definitely not a pleasant welcoming restaurant for non Hispanic people that was my experience. It was only dine out because we were to uncomfortable to eat in. My husband did not order after he saw how they served me.

The people who own the place are very nice and treat everyone with respect... The food is so good always something different to eat everyday. The prices for plate of food is very fair. I would say that if you wanted to eat some real latino food , go to Ocean cafe

Service & Food are always great. Only been 3x but will definitely go again. 1st time I had the white rice with habichuelas and carne guisada, 2nd time I got pernil and yellow rice, with pollo guisado. Heres what I got this time, see photos

If I had a chance to put a 0 star I would, first of all this place used to be good. Last owner Puerto Rican sold to a Salvadorian family, and there food have that Salvadorian touch not that Dominican or Puerto Rican touch... Second, it says Ocean Cafe and they dont even sell Coffee!!! NO COFFEEE at Ocean Cafe!!!! :-D This is the most funniest and last restaurant I will ever place a foot in, there food is horrible. I am originally from Chelsea, MA and I know Salvadorian Good Food, these people are trying to mix something that tastes horrible. I do not recommend, waste of money and time to eat their.

Good food but the ladies there are very two faced and gossip. I understand Spanish and they will really talk about you while youre standing/sitting there. Disrespectful but the food is awesome 👌🤷👍👍

The food here is sooo good! I just love this place. We drove by it so many times and commented you know we should try it- it looks like it could be a hole in the wall place that is good. Someone I knew told me about it, and I eventually was like okay okay I will try the food.SOOO yummy, and the prices and portions are right.

The pork is so tender and juicy and the chicken is also. Falls right off the bone. The rice is cooked just right.

Really amazing Spanish cuisine for a low price of $8 for two types of meat and a huge helping of rice. My go to place all the time. Best thing is their empanadas which are hard to get because they always are selling out of them.

GOOD FOOD, BUT BAD SERVICE! Staff is rude!!! Was there a few days ago. While I waited in line to be assisted, I heard and understood what they were saying about other customers there in Spanish. The owners, specially the guy, is so unpleasant. A few people wanted to wait for fresh food to come out as the trays were almost empty, and he to upset at them and gave the attitude. He even yelled at his wife serving the food in front of us. Others had to ask for their beans because I found out that the order comes with them, but if you dont ask, they wont offer them to you. Again, food is good but that does not give them the right to be rude to customers. Its like they take people for granted. Not going back!!!!!

Since I moved to Rhode Island I cant find any Puerto Rican restaurants. Then I found Ocean Cafe! I am so happy with their food, its always worth the price and you get large portions! yum yum yum!

I am in love with this place, if you want authentic PR food in northern RI this is the place, she switches up her menu which I love & the portion size is very generous, my mouth waters for the food while I type this

I am a truck driver, I drive all over. Being Puerto Rican when I park my truck I’m on google looking for the nearest Spanish joint. This is by far the best food I’ve had while over the road. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the prices are good. This is my go to spot when I’m in the area.

I was looking for some Spanish food today and I didnt want to drive down into Providence to get it. So I found this place. What amazing food they have! The steak, chicken Rice, beans, plantains... all of it was incredible and cheap. The people working were so friendly and polite. Just that made it feel like I was going to come back. I hope this stays around because I will be back for more.
