Yummy, I just LOVE this place! The food is always delicious! Its a great place for just the 2 of US or the whole family!

We really enjoy going to OBBs they have a weekly fish fry because its so popular during Lent, very good. They added on several years ago but seem to still pack the joint. The clam chowder soup is very good. I really enjoy the Reuben sandwich. Have a decent selection of appetizers and a good size kids menu. they also sell broasted chicken weve never tried it yet but its pretty popular you see orders and orders to go out. Recently they added a nice awning to the outside patio.

Lots of variety on the menu and they have outdoor seating so you can catch some sun while it’s still nice out. So of our food was dry and over fried but the fries are bomb. Place is still a legit overall spot to grab a drink and eat at….and a good bang for your buck as well for the most part. Unfortunately they don’t have many deals or specials that I know of.*free popcorn is nice

My first time at Obbs was a great experience. I was with three other people and we were treated like family. Nice environment inside. The waitress was excellent. A d my taco wrap was delicious. Ill be back again, for sure!

I only go for breakfast on the weekends. The food is awesome, good bloody marys. Its a great place to start a sunday morning.

I had the chicken drummies, yum! They have a covered patio, still too hot for me but looked like a great place to enjoy your meal.

My family and I love this place! I personally have been here 10+ times and it never disappoints, wonderful service time and time again and the food is equally as amazing! The ribs are a big hit with my family members when I bring them here and rightly so, they are fall off the bone ribs with a very delicious sauce with a kick to it. I have tried the majority of their sandwiches and all of them I would recommend highly but my personal favorite is the Dixie patty, the bacon is spicy and delicious and you can tell it’s made with love! All their appetizers are very good as well! There is nothing to bat them over the head with at all. They even offer outside eating with a designated smoking side, which I love personally cause I can’t stand the smell of cigarettes. One interesting thing that I think would be cool to add is a food challenge item. I will continue to come here and continue advertise it to my friends and family!

Obs is a great neighborhood bar and grill. The food is good and so is the service from the staff.

I LOVE this place. Its so nice to sit outside and enjoy a cocktail and/or dinner. Been coming here for years! The food is great, waitresses are courteous and friendly and their steak is to die for! Highly recommend!!!

It sounds petty, but I had to request the correct bread with my breakfast, 3 times. I told the server my decision was based on wanting an english muffin. Each time something was brought out by the runner, she went to the wrong table and offered it to other customers. Additionally, while the server was pleasant, it was way too much for her to handle the patio by herself.

I had the steak tips and prime beef and cheese sandwhich. Some of the best food I have had in ages. And the service was excellent as well for how busy they where. Will be coming back often for more.

I am a big fan of Obbs, everything I have had there has been great. So far they have the best Cuban sandwich I have had in the twin cities. You can tell they put the time and effort into crafting their food items. Also every person I have put on to this place has loved it.

A nice place with pretty good food, too. Reasonably priced . Very good Bloody Caesars for $7. Patio dining is a plus where they allow smoking.

First time here! I was impressed and will try it again. At first upon entering didnt feel welcomed but rest of staff was great and food was delicious. Could have been just a tough morning.

Place was not that exciting. Very filthy and needs to hire a new cleaning crew. I went there at night and there were pulltabs, popcorn, and garbage all over the floor. People just show no respect at this establishment. Other then that the food was excellent and prepared to the T.

I grew up in Saintpaul & have eaten at Obbsfor over 20 yrs . Unfortunately it has gone downhill. Anywhere from 3 to 15 minutes depending on where youre seated. Food portions have changed & coming out of the pandemic the quality is below average now. Clearly they are struggling with staffing across the board. Alot of people are issues with the food making them not feel so well after eating some alot worse than others.We have decided not to return, its not enjoyable evening if your up all night relieving yourself from your last supper.With the price more increases the service & quality should increase as well sadly enough not the case. Honestly its too bad I wish them the best & hope they get back up on their feet again & provide their customers the dining experience they are paying them for.

Friday night fish fry. Took about 40 minutes to get seated, no reservation,once we got seated we were eating in less than ten minutes. Service was great.

Very busy on a Saturday and ended up being seated in the lower level. Our server was fantastic and Im sorry I dont remember her name Food was great as usual.

Obbs does just as their neighborhood customers want. They dont serve trendy bistro foods. They do serve basic foods for a good price.Burgers and fish sandwiches with fries and onion rings were our choices. They were tasty enough and the price much cheaper than any other bar and grill around town.Interior could use some updating...but no one else seemed to mind

Been there twice now. Service was pretty rough both times. The waitress we had tonight might have been the worst waitress I’ve ever had. Went for the fish fry and she only checked on us once. Didn’t come back to the table until we had gotten up and started to leave. The fish was soggy and way too greasy. Much better fish at your average VFW.

I was very disappointed the last time I was there. I usually sit at a table but I was meeting friends and they had already sat at the bar. I was ignored by the bartender so badly that we started timing how long it took him to help me. Meanwhile my friends were helped without even asking. I tried to order to go food and another beer and he never came back. I just have my friends cash anger left. I really love the food but I refuse to be treated that way.

If you want great food-this is the place! It’s easy to get to, has a relaxing vibe and always great service. I’ve had a few large parties there and Jimmy (the ownerbends over backwards to accommodate. In the summer, there is a very nice patio over looking a park, fish fry and prime rib Saturday. My favorite “The Cuban”! 5 stars and a thumbs up!

Its your old neighborhood hangout! It reminds me of Cheers! This place has everything and the food is delicious! Its one of my favorite places to go and have a drink and some dinner. Its worth the trip so dont miss it!

I love this "old faithful" on the east side. It has great food, great atmosphere and great staff! They are centered around community and I love that! Today was a pretty nice day to find a seat and relax. Will be back, as always!

Friendly staff, food is decent, and portions are on point. Had the Cuban everyone talks about and I give it a 2.5 out of 5. Nothing wrong with it necessarily, but just didnt pop with spicey onions and peppers like it should. I think they try to compensate with spicy ground mustard instead, no bueno.

I love to stop and eat here! They have a great menu with specials every day. The food always is fresh and everything is cooked there. I especially like their hot turkey sandwich. Always thick white meat with scratch made mashed potatoes and gravy!

I love this place! On my first visit there two years ago I ran into a friend who suggested I try the Cuban sandwich. Without question it is the best sandwich Ive ever had! So much so that I cant even look at the rest of the menu. Just give me the Cuban with chips and Im a happy man. My better half orders various items off the menu and has never been disappointed.

Edit: ask for eggs Benedict extra soft and theyll cook it perfectly.Had a large table of 12 and the service was top notch even with a crowded place. Everyone enjoyed their food. My only issue was my eggs benedict was over cooked. The yolk should not be solid in the middle.
