Best sunset dinner on this visit to Kauai! The way the chefs pair flavors is amazing. Every dish was cooked to perfection and the selection unique. We were served Ahi kama from a 50 lb Ahi--the biggest kama weve ever experienced! The kama was paired with a sizable lobster tail that was prepared just right.Our table got a complete description of the dishes we ordered and learned much of the food sources are local--all are fresh.The service is impeccable and the sunset view of dusk on the beach very romantic.Our meal was so enjoyable that were making sure to go again on Wednesday afternoon where Oasis features live music.

Nice dinner. We all (4ordered light as we had a big lunch. So, a couple of mixed salads, a burger, and fresh Ono fish (slightly over cooked, but still tasty). Mai Tais were excellent.

Disappointing experience here. The only saving grace for our dinner here was our amazing waiter and his service. Food was disappointing. Ordered steaks that came back rare desperate ordering medium rare. Ordering 2 lobster tails that were not fresh at all and and tasted days old which is surprising considering how amazing the seafood has been at other venues. All in all, almost $400 of food between 9 plates and the only thing we managed to eat were the wonton appetizers. Everything else was left at the table and we had to go enjoy our dinner at a proper restaurant. Could be we got unlucky and our experience is the exception to the norm but apart from our waiter- no one really cared about the issues we had with the food.

We had short ribs and seared tuna. It was really good, shame on us for judging the restaurant based on the lobby of the hotel, seasoned perfectly not too rich. Well done chef. Our server Henry (I think I remember correctlywas great, and whomever was behind the bar did a stand up job on the cocktails.All in, really good.

We got the fried wontons and chips as appetizers. Both were very good. The chips were covered in nacho cheese. For my entree I got the seared catch. It was good also. The mashed potatoes were very good.

Can really say that the chef makes the food with love. We ordered the sweet potatoe chips, Philly cheese steak sandwich and soup and all of the food was hot, tasty and extremely flavourful. Our server LG was awesome, very courteous, provided us with recommendations and very professional. For the price really excellent food.

May have been the best meal we have had in Hawaii. Beautiful view too. The truffle fried rice was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.

This place is nice. All open air and 180° ocean views. We had the last dinner of our honeymoon here 😊. The service was amazing! Cameron was awesome!

We had booked dinner here on a day when I knew we would be too tired to drive anywhere after our day of activities, and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The view was gorgeous since it was right on the beach. The food was very fresh, and what I would expect from a Michelin recommended restaurant. I knew it was a good place when I saw a couple locals I recognized from the bakery I frequented having dinner here as well. You may be booking a reservation for the view or because it’s convenient, but you will be most delighted by the food here.

It was our Anniversary dinner. The ocean view is amazing!! My husband had the local catch, which was delicious and I had the lobster tail, which was good but not quite as tasty as the fish caught locally. The Okinawan mashed sweet potatoes are always fantastic here! Our server might have been a bit distracted, because he was training. Usually the service is spot on.

One of the best meals I have had. High quality, great fish, and great service. Ian was amazing and got great wine recommendation from manager.

My husband and I ate there last night and thought it was our best meal while visiting Kauai. The food was excellent, and the bartenders make a terrific drink. The chef’s preparation was spot on for the grilled catch of the day and the flavors incredible. We could not walk in without a reservation but were able to eat at the bar. If possible- reserve early. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful evening of fine dining. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Especially Ryan and Cameron. They went above and beyond with every detail to ensure we had a great experience! We just got engaged the day before so this topped it all off. Excellent food and excellent service! I highly recommend visiting Oasis on the Beach!

Awesome little bar and restaurant overlooking the beach. Food is amazing! Great live music most days. Just had the grilled ahi in lobster sauce (strongly recommend having the bacon truffle fried rice on the sideand it was seriously one of the best meals Ive had in my entire life. Loved this place!!

Ryan (general managerwent out of his way to accommodate our family. We had a lovely table over looking the ocean. The food and desserts were incredible

We had an incredible dinner here. Henry was our server and I highly suggest asking for hin because he is a Rockstar! He will give you all the ins and outs and best places to go visit in the Kauai area also if you plan in island hopping he may have a some great eats and spots to visit. We had the ahi tuna and the catch of the day for dinner. The first time we visited and the second time we had some good drinks and tapas while listing to some awesome ukulele player. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

Amazing food and cocktails in an upscale atmosphere. It was my first try of poke and it was subtle and delicious, wish there was more avocado mousse. The shirt ribs with fried rice were divine. The dessert was heavenly.

Always a great meal here! Been many times over the years. The fresh catch is always a good choice. The short ribs are fantastic. Cant miss the truffle fried rice!!! So good!!!

A friend and I dined here on our last night in Kauai and we were not disappointed. Everything we ate was fresh, locally sourced, perfectly prepared, beautiful to look at and even better to eat. The staffs knowledge of the menu and pride in what comes out of the kitchen was evident. We loved hearing about where the different items were sourced from and received excellent recommendations from our waiter. The lovely ocean view from our table was just the cherry on top. 10/10 would dine here again.

Despite its beachfront setting, this is no oasis, rather the restaurant is an overpriced, underwhelming tourist trap. This beautiful island deserves better. Everything was over cooked—the Poke looked and tasted like boiled worms. The short ribs dry and strongly. The supermarket grade. Pork chop was as dry as its bone and the as served with a gummy pumpkin glob—supposedly an au gratin. The waiter was negligent, never checking in, never available. We were left on our own to find water. We thought someone might reference our birthday celebration. Nope. This place is highly “NOT RECOMMENDED.”

The fish of the day was ahi tuna, and my date and had the grilled catch with lobster for an entree, and the clams, tomato soup, and chips for appetizers.The tomato soup was simply delicious (EEVO makes a big difference), I thought the clams were good but my date liked them much more than I (the bread and sausage were the best parts for me), the chips are nice and light with a tasty cheese sauce for sure. For the main event, the ahi was quite tasty and the lobster cream sauce made it next level. The ulu/breadfruit gnocchi was a surprising standout to me as it has a distinctive taste. A perfect bite gets the gnocchi, ahi, and sauce in one. The veggies were quite good that came with it, and lobster is lobster so enjoy if thats your thing.Service was great, the drinks were also top notch, and the view/ambiance really sets the mood.

Here I am again, posting. Unfortunately I do not have too many good things to say about this joint. Of course, the beach view is magnificent but you are more likely to land a table in the middle of all the chaos with no view at all! The food is not that bright either. I ordered a simple steak and a salad as a classic dinner. The salad was drenched in sugar and the steak was rock solid. Ironic since I ordered it to be medium. Farther on, the place smelled like heavy chlorine and the server gave me the stink eye when I didn’t give her a tip.

Amazing experience. Staff was friendly. Location was great. Food was beautifully presented and DELICIOUS! We had the catch of the day...Ahi.

Not bad for happy hour! Tasty drinks and food. Our waiter was amazing and very knowledgeable of the island but I cant remember his name unfortunately. We will be back!

Fantastic location right on the beach. Super friendly staff and the food is pretty good. Really liked the poke bowl but the catch of the day was just ok. Will definitely be going back though.

The best experience we’ve had on Kauai by far. My husband and I have been trying to celebrate our anniversary with a nice restaurant with underwhelming experiences thus far. Oasis completely made up for it in every way. When making reservations, he let them know of our special occasion and the sweet hostess made sure she got us an amazing spot with an ocean view. After ordering drinks, our amazing server, Ian, asked if we wanted him to take a picture in front of the ‘Aloha’ sign. Then described every dish and the fresh catch. Afterwards, the manager, Ryan, came over to our table, to give us an awesome treat for our special occasion.You can’t go wrong here for any special occasion you’re planning!

Fabulous service and excellent food. The poke app and the two ahi entrees of the day were very tasty and creatively presented. Dessert (chocolate lovers choicealso delicious. And the view of the ocean -- priceless. Fabulous meal for first day of our honeymoon, and last day in Kauai.

We are foodies and love the farm to table concept, so naturally Oasis was right up our alley! The service was great, beautiful views, good cocktails, and delicious food. This was our favorite meal on Kauai and probably the best Ahi Ive ever had. They were accommodating to gluten sensitivity as well 😊.

The food was fabulous. A little more casual than we expected based on the photos, but the food was as good as any 5* restaurant so it was all good!!

Oh my. Daina is an amazing waitress. Best service and best food weve had in Kauai. Poke was fresh with a hint of citrus. I could eat the swordfish every day! My husband added some to his salad, mine came with long beans and ulu gnocchi. The pineapple blackberry martini really hit the spot after a busy day.

The food is really good. Much better than TidePool. The view is ok because the hostess sit us at the back of the restaurant.Food: 5 starService: 5 star. My server Cameron is friendly and niceI took one star off because the hostess is a racist. This senior heavy set lady sit certain race of people and the prime location. It is so strange because she herself is a local....If they want to be a 5 star restaurant, this kind of behavior need to change.

Some say this is the best Mai Tai on the island. It is really good, as are all of the cocktails here. A really nice spot to grab a drink or a meal and enjoy the ocean.

Great food, great view, and friendly staff. Wednesdays they have live music. I suggest making reservations if you plan to eat between 5:30 and 7

Came here for dinner around sunset and had a lovely experience. The whole restaurant is open-air, and you have a wonderful view of the ocean wherever you sit. A friend and I a decided to share a few small plates instead of entrees, and we weren’t disappointed. We had the poke, the sweet potato chips and the pork won tons. The poke was alright, but the other two were so good! We also tried the Lava Flow and Caroline mocktails, with the Lava Flow being the favorite.

Had a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday last evening. We were a bit early for our 6:15 OpenTable reservation, but were seated anyway. The service was attentive & our food was very good. A colorful martini and a glass of sparkling wine started us off. Pork Wontons for an appetizer, Garden salad followed by her Ahi Grilled fish and my Beef Short ribs. Dessert was a salted caramel sorbet using one of the manager’s special salt! We had a great time and highly recommend this place for dinner!

I cant say enough good things about this restaurant. I mean, you are right in front of the ocean which is fabulous. Drinks are incredible - I had the Kauaiian Punch and it was easily the best cocktail I have ever had. I ordered the Filet Mignon and it was flawless. So so delicious. The dessert was also out of this world. Service was amazing as well. Loved this place so much and will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing anniversary dinner.

Delayed review( actual vist two weeks ago): Food was decent to great for the price, Good Ambience, Drinks are ok( also one of the cocktail was out when we orderedNext to the beach and finally kids get entertained with crayons while waiting. I took one star because of two things. 1“Rusty” outside umberella frames( might fall in food, they are that badin the outside seating area. 2the first waitress we got was not even let us finish the order as she was running to other tables. But after I contacted manager they assigned another waiter and he did an excellent job. As we went there for dinner, we missed ocean views. But the restaurant lighthing ambience was equally great. And one last thing is, they offered an umberella when we were leaving in the rain and let us keep it( we left it at the resort lobby though). To summarise, the overall experience was great!FYI: They do COVID Temperature checks and also CHECK LATEST MENU on their website not in pictures

Loved the ambience of this restaurant. The staff were super friendly as well. All their ingredients are sourced locally and they have their own fisherman who brings them fresh catch everyday. I had the Taro burger, which was delicious. The tomato was really good as well. I added some of their hot sauces to the soup, which added a bit of heat (in a good way).

This was a first time visiting Oasis on The Beach! What a wonderful time we had! Beautiful table, great service! We were celebrating our Anniversary! They treated us like we were so special! It was so appreciated! Thank you Ryan and Megan!

Like all the other reviews state… the service was superb(nice job Megan). The manager Ryan is super attentive and for some reason he gave me a Russell Wilson vibe… I don’t know what that means but super nice, interested in conversing, all around kind dude. Thanks for making the dining experience “personal”… nice. See the pictures attached here… the grilled catch and the seared catch- well prepared… but pretty on par with what you can expect on your Hawaiian vacation at a restaurant of this scale. Leans on the “fancy” side but I’m pretty sure they won’t turn you away in shiorts and a T-shirt. Anyway, this review is rambling so I’ll end with you won’t be disappointed… oh wait! The desert… banana egg rolls… the best thing I had tonight. Get those!!

The servers and staff were so friendly. The food was unbelievable. We arrived for happy hour and stayed to order dinner after. Highly recommend both!

The food here was incredible and the service was even better. Every part of our meal was quickly and perfectly executed. However, our server, Art really made dinner a 10-star experience. Art was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and kind- give him a raise!

Beautiful spot right on the beach and one of the best meals we had on vacation. The seared ahi tuna with gnocchi were delicious as was my boyfriends short ribs. Charlie our waiter and Ryan the manager were so sweet and helped make our anniversary night special.

Dont think about just go. The drinks were really good. Loved the pineapple martini so much had 4 lol. Food was beyond our expectations it really was the best dinner we had in Kauai. Service was great, our server Charles was on top of it. Attentive and friendly. We will be returning before leaving Kauai for sure.

Incredible food, service, and live music!! We had the night’s special tapas, including elote, fried Gouda and lechon. The sweet potato chips and vegetarian curry were also amazing. Our dinner in total lasted for 2.5 hours, a truly special experience! Would highly recommend to anyone.

We went for lunch while on vacation. The location was really great. The back of the restaurant opened up to the ocean. The atmosphere was perfect for a beach restaurant. The ranch burger and the fish tacos were excellent. The dessert, deep fried banana wrapped in wonton, with caramel sauce and salted caramel gelato was fantastic!

A delightful place - really! In a Big hotel, but really worth going to. We were there for lunch, and the fish tacos were excellent. We also had the sweet potato chips, based on others recommendations, and they lived up to the hype.The Thai Martini was also really well done. I had to have two! I was a little leary of the sugar/chili mixture on the rim of the martini, but it was oh so tasty and went perfectly with the flavors in the martini. Have three! If youre not driving : )Place lost one star because they accepted a 2:45 online reservation for lunch and then informed us as we sat down that lunch ended at 3:00 so we needed to order right away. Such a pleasant place to have to feel rushed - not good. Waiter was nice, but we did not enjoy the time restrictions. Dinner does not start until 4:00, so there is a one hour break, which is good for the staff. We just werent aware.Go! (but not at 2:45 ; and ask for a window table.

In short, the service was phenomenal, food excellent, but we paid for it. Were probably going back again for drinks and dessert only during our short five day stay in Kauai.Best part of dinner was when it started raining while we were drinking wine under the canopy. Very cool. A few tables are outside thought, so could be s problem if youre seated there.
