Oasis Vegetarian Cafe in Riverside

That carnitas loaded quesadilla was 💣 🔥 🔥. Vegetarian but the carnitas texture was on point. The veggie’s they put inside that crispy tortilla paired perfectly with the sauce and cheese. I tried the veggie cheese, had them make sure it was extra melted and they did. The citrus slaw added a twang of lime I had to keep going back for. My moms burrito she couldn’t stop eating. Normally she takes two bites and she is full. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. The girl at the window had great suggestions that helped me decide what to get and she was friendly, doing her job wonderfully.

Quality food every time. I’m never disappointed.

I’ve been going to Oasis for over ten years. The menu has changed over the years but still, they deliver a great quality of selections from their vegan menu. Food is always fresh and delicious which leaves me satisfied in compared to other alternative fast-food choices. Their excellent customer service is always a pleasure to experience. I would like to frequent Oasis more often. However, at their prices, I can only allow myself to eat there once every 2-4 months, maybe even longer.The rational for their prices is due to their “organic” ingredients which to an extent I don’t really care for. Just use the ingredients. In an American society where the number one cause of adult death is heart disease, we should all have the opportunity to eat healthy by having affordable options. It frustrates me to see the vegan community indirectly contribute to our health problems by not making their healthier options accessible to everyone at a cost they can afford. The high costs of eating vegan have been an issue that I personally am disgruntled with. I know that as long as eating healthy comes at high an expense, then society will continue to perpetuate the poor habits in food choices that will ultimately lead to higher rates of comorbidity and death. Eating vegan should be more cost effective than the price of meat.See you next year!

Excellent food. Excellent prices. Vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly and patient service. Outdoor and indoor seating. We enjoyed a bowl with vegan cream sauce and jackfruit tacos with roasted vegetables and vegan cream sauce. Wheat free corn tortillas for the tacos. Jackfruit Taquitos and Potato Taquitos are yummy. Horchata and Ginger drinks were refreshing. Gluten free and vegan ice cream sandwiches, both mint chip and rocky road are yummy.

Always great food when I come here. Majority is very healthy and plant based food. I have yet to try everything in the menu so provides many options for all types of people. Employees are extremely helpful and have a positive attitude all the time !

Food is always great here and the staff is always so friendly. Highly recommend anything with the jackfruit. So good.

My wife and I had the Oasis patty burger, herb & veggies, potato wedges, avocado ginger sauce, and Jackfruit taco! Yum! We will be back for sure :9

Im glad that more vegan or vegetarian options are available now than they used to be. This is a great place tucked away in a natural foods market. The carnitas burrito was incredible, juicy and packed with flavors its big enough for two. The "Brenda" burger was pretty good too lots of mushrooms.

I absolutely love this place. I eat here all the time. I usually get a taco bowl, some taquitos or tamales. They are all so good. The chicken sandwich is also really good. For dessert they have ice cream sandwiches and they have different flavors! They are really awesome. Taco Tuesday is super great too when you don’t want to make dinner on Tuesday!

The oasis café uses the purest ingredients one of my favorites is the jackfruit tacos with the citrus slaw potato wedges and hibiscus tea it’s one of my favorite places in Riverside

I love Oasis! It is comforting knowing my food is not only healthy but delicious! I absolutely love the breakfast burrito (vegan).

Everything is delicious, especially their Oasis veggie burger. Best veggie patty Ive ever eaten. I am not vegetarian or vegan but I still love the food at Oasis because it is just tasty. Plus their soft burger bun is fantastic. Favorites are their Oasis veggie burger, breakfast burrito, fried plantains, potato wedges, ginger lemon spritzer, and their rice bowl with either Oasis patty or tofu. Red pepper sauce and their hot sauce are a must.

Delicious, wholesome, quality ingredients.Service was excellent. We arrived a few minutes before closing and they still took our order. Will definitely be back.

Had Oasis for the first time today. I had no idea it was down the street from me along with the market. I had the oasis burger with roasted veggies and my wife had the carnitas taquitos. Both excellent. I’ll be tested the other items & editing as I go along. The staff were very friendly. A must try.

Oasis prepares delicious food! We had a p black bean pupila, the potato/carnitas taquitos, a sope, and a setan bowl. Forgot to take pics, sorry. All were top notch. We will definitely be back.

Amazing food!! 🤤⭐ This was a local cafe we decided to check out visiting Riverside next to an amazing health market. The food is incredibly delicious, we tried a lot because everything sounded so good! Potato taquitos were crispy and soft. Our salads were soo so good with jackfruit and the avocado ginger dressing was to die for! Also quite filling! The pupusa and plantains were pretty good too. Thank you for your delicious food!! 🙏🏼

For the true vegan or the person that wants to eat clean and meatless for the the day, this place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it. Not a place to take a date, but great for a quick snack. The price isn’t cheep but here you really get what you pay for. This is a place to take a person that has never tried a vegetarian diet to show them that meat alternatives can be extremely tasty. Plus I must also say the staff is always great and helpful. Can’t say the same about the attached store.

I dont eat vegetarian full time but like to once in a while and this was exceptionally delicious! Ask for their special spicy sauce!

Some of the best, fast healthy food in all of SoCal. Everything is fresh, nothing too salty and everything has a ton of flavor—and it’s all plant based! Certain eateries are worth traveling to or going out of your way simply to experience, i’d say this is one of them!

This place is phenomenal. First, it’s located in a quiet little sleepy corner of riverside that is so peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of parking. The staff is very polite and although service was slow, I understand that’s not the norm so didn’t take stars off. It’s clean with lots of seating indoors and outdoors. It has a big menu with good variety, and I want to try everything on the menu. The food is AMAZING. I had a bowl and it was super fresh and tasty - their tofu is killer. I also had the corn which was very yummy. Oh, and the vanilla vegan ice cream sandwich, forget about it! So good! Overall it was a great value and I will definitely be back.

I was planning when I could come back right after I left. It was all very good. It is a walk up and there are tables to sit at outside, or you can get the stuff to go. The Guatemalan coffee is great and the bowls (what I hadare large and satiate fully.

I used to get food delivered and finally went to the location. I had no idea it was a grocery store. I was able to place an order and browse the market until my order was called.There is a large variety of vegan and healthy food options. They also arent a very big store so it is pretty quite and nice not to be in a crowded location.I ordered thier burger with avocado ginger sauce. Its now my usual. I also tried thier loaded vegan quesadilla and it was amazing. Not over powered with cheese and the jackfruit tasted great. Not sweet and very savory.

Very good veggie burger, Potatoe wedges, coconut bacon, & unsweetened passion tea. There were no prices posted ( i didnt see anyfood was delicious, u can add what u want on the burger, but it was very very expensive! My total came up to be $23 & change. So basically $24 i was soooo shocked! Ive never paid for a combo at that price b4. The next day i went to eat at another vegan place i got like a burrito it was huge and very delicious and u build it like chipotle. The cost came up to a total round about $14. I wont be going back to Oasis bcuz it way to expensive.

Absolutely fantastic! Love their new and old menu items. High quality food and ingredients for a good price. Highly recommend their jack stuffed quesadillas and papousas. Very clean as well, and I loved seeing everyone wearing their masks. Owner and servers here do an amazing job. Another benefit ... Great market attached with cool vegan items.

There are a lot of vegetarian places out there but there isnt one that gives you choices to customize to what you are feeling like without fail.The ingredients are fresh and the burrito that I had was well balanced between the carnitas, roasted corn, and avocado ginger sauce. Its got the right balance of citrus and sweetness from the corn. The avocado ginger blended nicely with the rice whole the beans was cooked just right.The whole family can find something they like here without needing to order preset items.

Really, really good. Food is made well and tastes really delicious. Worth trying everything on the menu. They have burgers, bowls, salads, desserts, and more.

Its fresh made vegan food. It can take up to 20 minutes for you to get your order. Its pretty much a create your own menu. Food could be seasoned a lot better but its edible enough. Adequate social distancing seating. This our first time eating out since the lockdown for COVID19 back in March.

I AM NOT VEGAN. But I promise this food was better than ANY non vegan food made away from home. Fried sweet Plantain & jackfruit burrito. Great food.

Whenever I want to have a delicious meat-free meal I head over to Oasis Vegetarian Cafe. Theyve been in the vegetarian food game for a long time and it shows. I enjoy everything from their bowls to their vege-carnitas tacos (discounted on Taco Tuesday). They do a great job with their pupusas as well. Theres a small outdoor table area and a spot inside the vegetarian market with more tables. Oasis is low on frills but high on taste. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. It can get busy around lunch time so plan accordingly or order ahead.

Hole in the wall (literallycafe on the side of a La Sierra Natural Foods market.Very fresh and clean food with unique flavors. A bit pricey but filling. Food took about 15-20 minutes to come out but there’s an option to order ahead for pick up.It’s a nice spot for unique flavors!

I was going to be in the area of the Lake Elsinore Outlets and was looking for a Vegan restaurant to try. This site came up and the reviews about Jack fruit tacos had me intrigued. Im glad I overlooked the winding street directions because this place is worth it.You order outside and the choose to sit outside at tables or pkenty of inside seating in the attached La Sierra Natural Foods market. You can also get food to go. The tacos were amazing and the burger was awesome too. I recommend the red pepper sauce! Please make the trip, its worth it.

The vegan options are exactly what I need. Great outdoor seating or head inside the market to sit in the cafe. I love their bowls, pupusa, and jackfruit nachos! Friendly staff always!

This is a great place to shop for vegan or vegetarian food as well as order food made fresh. They have very healthy options that allow you to select jackfruit or tofu for your protein in tacos or burritos.I tried the burrito and my wife had the vegan burger. Both were delicious and allowed you to choose a plant based cream. The hot sauce was fresh and spicy.You can eat inside or outside the store. Parking is adjacent to the store. Try it out if in the area.Enjoy more plants in your diet.

Amazing food. Great vegan and vegetarian options. They were very willing to sub anything that was vegetarian to vegan friendly. The portions were HUGE and very delicious. Top two of the best Vegan spots I have tried by far! Will definitely be going again. And on the plus side the little grocery store they have has tons of Vegan options Ive never even seen in major chain stores!!

My first time here. I got the tofu bowl with red pepper sauce and mushrooms. Delicious. Absolutely delicious. I will be back to try more items. I heard the tamales are must have...next time.

I love this place. I am so thankful to live so near a health food store shared with a health food restaurant. My favorite combo, Oasis Patty Bowl with Garlic Mushrooms Red Pepper Sauce and Sweet Basil Corn on top. Paired with a delicious Hibiscus Iced Tea. Who says eating healthy has to taste bad?

Indoor and outdoor sitting Vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options. You order outside and you can have them bring it to you inside or you pick it up at the window. You can order to go to. So far I have had the bowl with carnitas, mushrooms, the corn dog and potato wedges. They were all very good. I tried the tiramisu but it was too coconut-y for me.They have water with lemons and cucumbers available inside. Along with markers and coloring books. Bathroom is inside at the back of the store and you need to ask for the key. Which is the only drawback.

Admittedly I prefer vegan food. That said, Oasis is my favorite vegan/vegetarian eatery in Riverside. Great food complimented with a attentive staff.Patio or indoor seating available.Its trendy if 20+ years in business is trendy.Bonus is the health food store next door.
