Stayed for 5 nights in total. Very expensive, the hotel is in need of some maintenance work. Someone had been sick in the pool whilst we were there and they just used a net to get it out and said it was because people hadnt had a shower. That totally put us off. Wouldnt return. Im sure there are better hotels for better price.

The best hotel in the Mindelo city. In the center. Near the sea and bars and restaurants

Bem situado e com serviço muito agradável e solicito. Tem serviços de ginásio e piscina com tamanho interessante. Há também serviços de uma escola de mergulho junto à piscina. Um excelente hotel.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön. die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, das Bad ist sauber. Frühstück war reichlich und lecker. Der Hotelpool ist nicht mehr ganz neu, aber sauber und ausreichend Liegen sind vorhanden. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Vieles war fußläufig erreichbar.

Wir waren keine Übernachtungsgäste, sondern nur für den Pool da. Das kostet pro Erwachsenen 500 Escudo, Kinder zahlen 300 Escudo. Der Pool ist, wie auch im Foya Branca stark abgenutzt. Hier ist schon länger nichts mehr gemacht worden. Die Liegen sind durchgelegen und/oder gebrochen, lose Fliesen überall. Besonders delikat ist der Baby/Kinderpool, hier baden und waschen sich die Tauben. Pro: man ist mitten in der City und kann Pool genießen, falls es am Strand zu windig ist. Außerdem sind es top Preise am Pool für Getränke und Essen, keine Abzocke. Zum Beispiel Bier 330ml 190 Escudo, ein Tosta Mista 330 Escudo, ein Cheeseburger für 600 Escudo.

Very unprofessional kitchen staff. Few items available on the menu, there excuse for taking one hour to give me my food, is because they ran out of gas, they were changing the gas tank. Waisted one hour of my life that I will never get back.

Really nice and comfortable hotel in the city center. The bar/restaurant during the day is also a really nice place to work from. The wifi works well in the area (inside and outsideand the staff is super friendly :)

Great pool, decent gym for an hotel!

Très partagé note entre 3 et 4 étoiles.Hotel situé en ville de Mindelo. Chambre petite avec un mini balcon donnant sur la piscine.Personnel agréable et disponible.Service au dîner peut être long mais bonne qualité de la nourriture . Copieux buffet au petit déjeuner.Salade Mindelo voir cliché.Si vous souhaitez disposer du confort des Hôtels 4 étoiles en Europe vous serez déçu.Convient parfaitement pour quelques nuits avant de passer sur une autre île.2eme semaine, une belle chambre plus grande. Le dîner était soigné avec apéritif. Merci

Gostava de poder dar mais estrelas mas faltam algumas melhorias como o duche, cama e ventilação do WC/quarto. De resto o hotel é bonito, a entrada e bar são fantásticos, a piscina é muito agradável e o staff é 5 estrelas. Destaco a localização que é muito boa, as comodidades gerais e o acolhimento/apoio do pessoal.

One of the best in town. Only shortcomings seen were that the rooms are a bit small and the pool area is a wind tunnel so no place to stay for long.

The hotel claims four stars, I wouldnt give it more than two. The staff is is courteous and the meals were good, but the room was pretty bad. There was a puddle in the middle of the room from the fridge, unpleasant smell likely due to the humidity, the mattress was unexpectedly bad, the shower would go from too hot to too cold every few seconds, the safe started showing error message so we had to look for a key to open it up.

Schönes, helles und sauberes Hotel. Zimmergröße ausreichend. Badezimmer ist schön. Frühstücksbuffet gut, die Auswahl recht groß. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Angestellte. Sehr nahe dem Zentrum. Supermarkt, Bank und der Hafen in der Nähe.Absolut nicht tragbar ist die hauseigene Diskothek, welche OPEN AIR bis in die Morgenstunden dröhnt! Das ganze Gebäude bebt, an Schlaf ist nicht zu denken. Totales NO GO!

Great hotel with good and professional staff. Ideally situated in the center of the city with nice restaurants and bars around the corner. I really recommend to stay here!

Perfect stay

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice, not to big rooms and a nice view of the square in front.We came back from Santa Antao (beautiful island, horrible hoteland were very happy to be back in the luxury and service of Porto Grande.Be sure to check out the beach club, it is as good as the hotel

It was a pleasant stay.

Very nice. Extremely clean and modern. The breakfast is great. It has a swimming pool and is located 10 minutes to the sea if you walk.

O meu hotel de eleição na cidade de Mindelo, Soncente, Cabo Verde, onde já estive várias vezes. Bem localizado na Praça Central da cidade com uma bela piscina.

Very good hotel on a small parkside, beautiful trees...Very kind and helpful staff. 10 minutes walk to the beachclub. Close to city centre. Great breakfast buffet. Lovely swimming pool, great margueritas!

Cest de très loin le meilleur hôtel de lîle et peut être de larchipel il est tout confort donnant sur une belle place plein centre ville avec piscine agréable il doit probablement exister mieux comme hôtel en pleine nature sur lîle mais pour la ville celui là vaut ses 4 etoiles.

Nice hotel, good confort, right in the center of Mindelo ; Breakfast is generous (not that original but good; The place offers a lot of animations especialy during weekend and/or carnival season (good but/and loud music until 4 or 5 amwhich is great however, not the place to choose if you want a quiet place.

In the Centre of Mindelo, near restaurants, bars or even from walking distance to the beach. Not recommended when you like silence in the evening or nights. But for the rest is it a good hotel for discovering Mindelo.

Very slow service, be prepared to wait for average food.
