The OxO Tower restaurant i went last month you can sightsee whilst you eat! From the restaurant you will be able to see up and down the River Thames and the buildings that sit on its front row. Also, where the front row buildings are not too tall to obscure what lies behind them, you will be able to see further into the City of London Delicious food, high quality drinks

Beautiful views. Cosy place with a good selection of cocktails. Professional floor staff. A bit overpriced, but location and views adds to it.

Service was amazing !! Peter served us and was a dream ! Food great too. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion

We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon at the brassiere. A phenomenonal table for six, right by the window with a panoramic view of the river. Ive passed this place many times of the past 20 years and never been in before, what had I been thinking?The food was superb, just superb. I can highly recommend the lamb, but no one at the table had anything but praise for their meals. I can also, overwhelmingly recommend "The Pencillin" cocktail.Prices were really decent given the quality, the service and location. We hit around £100 per head, but we didnt stint on the wine and cocktails and it was worth every penny.

We had a wonderful evening at the OXO tower restaurant. They service is impeccable. The views are gorgeous and we loved all the dishes we ordered . I had the mushroom risotto ball and my husband had the scallops. The sauces were amazing.For our entree we had the Stone Bass and the Turbot. I liked the Turbot better but they were both very good.For dessert we shared the Tonka cheesecake. It was good but I wouldn’t call it a cheesecake. It’s more like a mousse.I’m not sure why one reviewer talked about how people were dressed. I didn’t find that people were overly dressed up . We did go in a weekday so maybe that is why.

The good things first: Most of the food was quite good. The venison was perfect, though they skimped on the sauce, and the desserts were excellent. The monkfish was a bit tasteless and too saucy. The building was somewhat interesting and the location was nice.Apart from that, there isnt much to praise. The staff were mostly somewhere between mildly dissociated and snobbish and answered all our questions very briefly. The food was quite pricey and came up to about £260 for three, à la carte. And despite the somewhat interesting architecture, the potentially beautiful view over the London skyline was ruined by the cheap and fake plastic grass carpet on the terrace, which made the place feel more like a low-range resort than a Michelin-star price range restaurant. On top of this, the few other guests there were either more snobbish than the staff or unpleasant and boisterous.The venison and dessert were really good though, so I still rate it a 3/5.

Great location view and brightness. Atomphere was great , food is cook well , my monk fish was cook nicely , but quinoa cake dish the pepper and sauce was touch bit to sharp sourness for me , if you want great view in middle of London , and nice service. It is not a bad choice

Wonderful view without any doubts, but service was not up to the place, country music group playing was totally not a fit for the place (at least that dayand prices are skyrocket. Food and cocktail are good but final bill is not justified. Go there to impress your partner and enjoy the experience...

Booked a lunch here; was a sunny day, the riverside location is good and the view is so nice. We were not hungry, so we had 2 starters and shared a Main with side, so that we still had the room for Dessert. Price was reasonable. Starters were just ok, we had sweet potato waffle and Slow roast pork belly; but the Main, Monkfish risotto was so good. And the chocolate plate was very tasty.

Enjoyed a dinner here with colleagues recently. The atmosphere is busy, but not overly loud, and the tables while close are not claustrophobic inducingly close. Covid measures are well signed and there is plenty of hand gel available.The food was excellent and the service outstanding, the wait staff are there when you need them, but not hanging over your shoulder forcing you out the door trying to turn over the table. All in a great dining experience for a corporate night out.

One of the classic fine dining experiences in London with everything you expect : exceptional service, fine foods, extensive wine list and unique views. Perfect celebration spot.

Spectacular views over the Thames, to the right you can see st. Paul’s cathedral. Staff were laid back but very attentive and friendly. Also very knowledgeable. The vibe is very New York. Food was lovely. Perfect spot for day or night. This review is for the brassiere not the formal restaurant.

With great views over River Thames, friendly and attentive staff, this place offers very good food and a vary selection of wines and cocktails. Prices are a bit expensive, but once in a while you can quietly sit and enjoy a wonderful meal and the beautiful sights from the rooftop of Oxo Tower with the loved ones.

Ive wanted to come here for years and was very pleased when I was invited to my friends graduation dinner here. Just the five of us at 7pm. Started well enough with very attentive staff and cocktails on the balcony looking over the Thames. We ordered from the set menu at 45 pp and I was glad we did. Even though the food on the main menu sounded amazing the price was very high and I noticed a lot of the same elements were in the more affordable selection. The food looked amazing for Instagram and was well presented but all of it lacked complexity in favors. I felt like the location and staff were 5 star but the food was only 3 hence my review. We had also asked for some little personalised elements via the booking but they had been forgotten. Dont come expecting amazing food because its mediocre. I dont want to sound mean as its good just not as good as expected and the venue and staff shine above it if Im honest. There was more attention paid to the look over the flavor and the best, most honest part were the bread rolls. Imagine an expensive posh old peoples home with some of the best views of London and you wont be disappointed.

Booked for the outside bar terrace. Really lovely experience. Staff are professional and view is amazing. The terrace is small so everyone gets a good view. Felt very relaxed as the sun set over London with a bottle of wine.

Excellent venue with great views of the River Thames and St Pauls Cathedral. Staff were very friendly, always made sure your glass was filled up either with water or wine. The food coming out the kitchen all looked well presented and very appetising. Our choice was the Chateaubriand which was cooked to perfection. I would say quite a large portion so bare that in mind if ordering starters. Price is very reasonable considering the location and quality of food. Just missing out on 5 stars as not a lover of the mac n cheese side it came with and just lacked a slight bit of seasoning on the beef for my pallet. 13% service charge also included in the final bill. Other than that highly recommend this restaurant. Would certainly come back.

Lift up to the 8th floor. To the viewing platform. Its a very tiny area. Can really only fit 5 or 6 people. Nice for a free high up view. The restaurant and the bar are over priced

Oxo Tower Brassiere never fails us. We went for a Summer Menu 2022 offer on Tuesday and it was excellent!!It was a belated birthday treat and as soon as we arrived we were greeted with a welcome and " happy birthday".The service was efficient, polite and friendly. The food is good value for money. Our fish was cooked to perfection but the highlight was the Blueberry Polenta tart which, according to my partner, was exceptional!!!Definitely one to add to your favourites list!

It was a decent dining experience for 4 in the Brasserie. The place was fairly busy, and the music was live but slightly too loud to have comfortable conversation. Nice view.The food was decent only, did not impress us. Mushroom main was nice but the artichoke was a bit sourer than I would like. The pork chop was too well done, and did include any sides. Chips were basic. Cocktail was nice.Overall i think it was overpriced for the quality, plenty nicer places around London with more wholesome food with a good view for the same price tag.

Came for the cocktails stayed for the view. We had a lovely couple of cocktails here on a sunny Sunday. We were impressed by the view, the flavours in the drinks, drink choice and the service.In terms of ambience, I agree with others that this is a formal place even in the afternoon. I didnt feel ready for this but I was treated no differently by staff and most guests seemed unfussy and laid back. Overall, despite the more formal dress and cut above service everyone and everything still had a relaxed vibe. The view is stunning.Our cocktails were so enjoyable so full of flavour and nicely presented. I think that given the upmarket vibe a little more could be done with the presentation of the cocktails but otherwise I felt they were nearly good value for money. I think as other reviewers are saying you pay more for the view than the food and drink, that said the quality of the cocktails were good enough for me to choose this place over others on the South Bank.

We enjoyed the experience at OXO for my husbands birthday. I looked for numerous rooftop places that would also cater to a 2 year old. Luckily OXO was one of the only ones that seemed to have a Kids menu.Our server Ali made the experience all the more memorable. He was friendly and available when we needed anything for my son. The food was wonderful, and the cocktails were also worth it.On a balmy day in London it was really worth the visit.Loved the meal we ordered. Limited options for vegetarians but for fish lovers and meat lovers food was great, however it is pricey.

Very nice view down to London city from the oxo tower. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is ok, not really amazing, but still ok.

Sunday afternoon drinks and lunch. We reserved a bar table and had wine and a light lunch. Lovely service with constant attention. Great views and price reasonable for the area, definitely will return.

The staff at OXO brasserie were absolutely amazing. We organised a surprise 50th birthday for a friend and they had the champagne ready for us and came at the perfect time with the surprise cake! Also the vegan food was delicious and the views are stunning, highly recommend.

Celebrated my Sister in laws 50th here. Beautiful building, great ambience and views, lovely friendly staff. The afternoon tea was delicious, a nice menu. My only criticism would be that the sandwiches did not seem completely fresh and were slightly dry and curled. The fillings were delicious though. Also we had to ask for the tea to be brought over.

Lovely views and really nice cocktails. I only went for the bar so I don’t know if the food is nice but definitely loved their drinks. The staff was super welcoming!

This was a visit to the brassiere. The venue has wonderful views across the river looking into Central London and the City! Even if you don’t have a window seat you can also access the open air section to view across the river and take pictures.The staff are very helpful and polite.The Confit Duck Wings were my favourite of all the food I ordered and there is a decent range options for each course. The portion size are generous. The presentation is very nice and enjoyable to photograph. The only downside to the venue would be the lifts are slow and it can take you while to go up to the restaurant or down to the ground floor

Three of us had a wonderful lunch here in the Oxo Tower brasserie. Lovely window seat, great views, good service. We all enjoyed our meals, the lamb being particularly good and desserts very tasty. A large party was in towards the end of our meal and we felt a little deserted (waiting for our warm cappuccino), but overall we enjoyed our meal.

There were four of us dining in the main restaurant. It was my first visit here and I have to say it was spectacular. Probably one of the best restaurant views in London with a huge panoramic across the Thames to St Paul’s. The food was amazing and the service was spot on. Tuesday evening and the restaurant was full. There is also a bar and bistro with the same views and outside seating. Highly recommended.

It was particularly busy on the night we dined here so it was a little difficult to get the attention of the staff but when we could get their attention service was very quick and efficient!The food was nice but maybe my expectations were too high, it wasnt so good that I would want to go back as soon as possible but definitely worth another visit. The view is nice and there was a live band playing some nice music to have a conversation to.

Disappointing. Had dinner in the brasserie. Pros: friendly waitress, allowed us to move our table when requested, well presented food, Elemis products in the toilets. Cons: difficult to get staff attention when needing to order or in need of wine topping up or for anything else and dont make the mistake of asking anyone other than your allocated server or youll get quite a look, wine is kept away from the table so you have to wait with an empty glass for far too long and you have no idea if your wine is being used for other tables. Food looks good with decent portion sizes but the dishes were under seasoned and served on cold plates that meant hot food was cold before finishing eating. Main courses were £25 each plus £6.50 for sides. Expensive when the service and standards do not hold up to charging these prices and the food is very average. People will say you pay for the view. Well Ive had similar views with much better food and service elsewhere in London. These issues were raised at the time and we were given £8 off our £270 bill for three people. They also add on an extra 13.5% service charge. I asked for this to be removed. I wouldnt recommend, there are much better restaurants with a view. I also notice that the management dont respond to reviews good or bad. To me this shows there is no care or pride in what they do. It could be so much better. Disappointing.

We had a positive experience + nice & welcoming from staff. Bad point first - I see now from others photographs that someone ate a scallop from my starter on the way from kitchen to the table....I thought £22.50 was a lot for TWO scallops!Good points.Mains - Duck breast mains were delicious (fully recommended). Great plate composition and taste that fully aligns with the iconic setting of the OXO tower.Dessert - Banana cake caramel cream. Such a surprise and truly perfect proportions!

So! Kicking this review off with the ambience. AVery very formal, and smart restaurant. Everyone is dressed to impress. Even the staff. If you are not used to it. You may feel a little uncomfortable.The decor is beautiful. Really does set the mood. Lovely views. Everything was pleasing to the eye.Staff were polite and knowledgeable...The food was decent. By decent i mean. Good on the pallet. Balanced and nicely cooked. Though the price is not justified. They charge as if it was Michelin star. The food was really nice!. But not excellent.2 cocktails 2 starters 2 mains £178There was not much to the main either.I dont like to leave reviews like this. But i think I may be paying these prices due to the location of the restaurant.I have had food in several other restaurants as good or better for far cheaper.

Service & food = very good value for money! Their £40 3 course set menu with a cocktail included (a lovely take on a Moscow muleexceeded our expectations - having assumed this restaurant would be an offensive tourist trap (more on the ambience later).Started with sea bream (a very well portioned starter), my partner had the pork which he said was brilliantly cooked, we both had the duck (breast & legas a main (cooked very, very nicely!with lovely buttery mashed potatoes, & ended with both desserts of rhubarb & banana (I preferred the banana with sorbet). Also had a side of chips with truffle mayo (they even brought out extra yummy mayo), & bread (served warm :).Honestly, cant fault this restaurant - the service was better than some 1 stars in London weve been to!Only downside is: the place looks like it hasnt been updated since the 90s, the lights are as bright as dining in a bingo hall, the crowd is very Bridge & Tunnel, & the lovely balcony reminds me of crazy golf. If they kept the food & same staff, & decorated this restaurant better - itd be an all around fab spot.

TOP CLASS. Definately a place I owouldnt normally go to but, A very special occasion brought me here & it didnt disappoint. The extensive wine list shows what kind of restaurant this is. The food and service was the best Ive ever had!

Wonderful food with beautiful night time views out over London. We went for an early Christmas meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent 3 course menu, lovely wine and the food was beautifully presented

Beautiful setting overlooking the London skyline. Incredibly placed and delicious dining experience. Topped off with incredible service. This is a great treat for that someone special. Close to the South Bank, so ideal before a show. Easily accessible by walking from major local stations.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Oxo Tower brasserie. The staff were lovely - very friendly and attentive. The brasserie had a nice atmosphere about it, with marvellous views out across London. It was a Saturday lunchtime and the place was very popular and fully booked. The kitchens are open so you can see the chefs at work - we had a table for two near the kitchen. The food and drink was of a very high standard and beautifully presented. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed for over 3 hours :Very highly recommended.

A perfect celebratory meal was had overlooking the river. The food was delicious, though we were envious of the Chateaubriand as it was wheeled past on a trolley and so will need to go back again. Lovely touch was a personalised birthday cake at the end (pictured below).

Still one of my favourite restaurants. The quality is beyond reproach and I love sitting on the balcony with a nice dinner watching the world go by. Menu is very good, with a great selection. Would certainly recommend both for lunch and dinner.

The view was better than expected. The staff was nice and friendly and the food was really good. Had the mushroom soup (perfect), the duck (juicyand the chocolate tart and raspberry for dessert (delicious).All in all, a really good experience! Ill definitely visit this place again if I return to London

Excellent food and a beautiful view, the service was great and the jazzy atmosphere was perfect. We had the chicken and the lamb and both were delicious. Id highly recommend this restaurant and I would advise to book in advance!

I booked a table at OXO tower restaurant for me and my girlfriend to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. The prices are on the steeper side but nothing to complain about and completely reasonable for a special event like this, the staff were incredibly patient but focused, kind and professional.We ordered starters mains and desserts, each was served with perfect spacing of time between one another and we were never left wondering where the food was.I ordered the fillet steak with truffle gnocchi, it was by far the tastiest pasta I have ever eaten And the steak was also cooked to perfection.I let the staff know about our occasion and they kindly sat us near the window with an amazing view looking out to the city over the Thames.I would highly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone considering it.

Absolutely impeccable customer service. Didn’t catch his name but he’s worked there a long time, was wearing a suit and some snazzy trainers. Waiter was absolutely attentive to our every need. The ambiance was perfect, the food was high quality, and displayed beautifully. Our table was cleaned regularly during meals, and the champagne was lovely. I would highly recommend sitting outside if it’s a warm day, the views are fantastic. We had live music too. Honestly I’ll definitely be going back. A wonderful way to celebrate our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. Thank you Oxo brasserie. We even had a lovely celebratory message on our dessert! Everyone should go here !
