Great beer!

This underground feel design is pretty cool and provides a great atmosphere inside. The variety of beers is excellent, and the service is great, considering the general average service in Trondheim :I also like the different tables, where you have small tables like in a coffee shop, as well as large tables for big groups. You even have a couple of rooms for more privacy.

We had a good dinner here as a family of 6 on our recent trip to Norway. We were excited to try some different beers and the beer list here didn’t disappoint! While the drinks were excellent, some of our dishes were great while others were not so good. We liked the linguine, ravioli, and capricciosa pizza, but thought the panzerroti was not good at all and one of the other pizzas was cold. We also wish there was a beer sampling/tasting option, such as offering flights! Overall, though, a good experience and I’d recommend it

Nice selection and architecture

Terrible seats and the one pasta dish was bland and had one flavour, spinach, boring. Beer was good though. Not a proper 3 star, more a 2.5 star.

Best place to get a beer in Trondheim.

Theres a beer for everyone at this place. The staff is eager to guide you to your preferred taste in beer. The food comes from the same kitchen as Frati, the restaurant above. As with beer there is lots of dishes to choose from. The rooms have a nice atmosphere with small alcoves.

Love the place. The tap room is well decorated, the staff is lovely to talk to and helpful. The tap list is extensive and interesting. I would recommend to anyone. 👌

To be honest I didnt really like the Øx Tap room at first, but it grows on you. Always great beers, their own and guest breweries.

A must visit for craft beer in Trondheim. A great selection of beers, very nice staff, and some of the best pizza in Trondheim (which they get from Frati upstairs). A cozy atmosphere for a sit down too.

Lasagnia isn’t worth it, seems like a frozen stuff. But pizza is pretty good and atmosphere is nice.

Delicious! Truffle pizza was great, seafood pasta was great, and gorgonzola pasta was great. Even the bread it came with was great!

Best place for beer in Trondheim. The Italian restaurant accessible by staircase is a nice bonus. They also have a great "cave-like" area you sit in if you book for a group.Great experience, great staff

Great craft beer bar and microbrewery in the centre of Trondheim. They have a large selection of their own beers and some others from Norway. They are attached to the nearby Frati restaurant and you can get bar snacks from there. Also possible to order beers using Vipps and get table service.

Big place with many choices of good beer. Guests can also order food from a menu for the restaurant which is located on the top floor, Frati. The only problem is that it can get really laud and hard to hear others.

Their IPA was nice and clean. Nice body. True to the style. The Barley Wine was superb as well. A little sweeter than i am used to, but still very nice and smooth.The vegetarian pizza was quite nice as well. Thin (almost crackercrust like a proper milano pizza. Pizza oven must be a proper high heat brick oven cause the crust came out well cooked and not soggy (no residual water).Craft beer and pizza...good combination.. Reminds me of St. Arnolds.

Since my two week visit to Trondheim and from the last two year visits this OX Tap room has become my favorite place to grab a craft brew and pizza. They have other great items on the menu to eat which all sound great as well just haven’t had the time. To myself the most enjoyable time is the busiest. 2030 and later. Young and old both enjoying themselves talking and or playing board games. Brew equipment is centered in middle behind glass windows and old decedent lighting sets the mood with soft light. Plenty of space to find a nice seat and enjoy the evening!!!!

Placed in the katakombs this bar makes for a great place for datenights and afterwork beers. Food is great and served from the restaurant upstairs (Fratiso if youve missed dinner you can easily fill up. Service is amazing and the lighting is quite dim. Just go here, youre gonna love it.

Wonderful beers, attentive service, and attention to detail. Watching the care that went into my companions Irish coffee made my beer taste better.

Nice underground place to have a beer. Long list of craft beers, and plenty of seats. Good for group celebrations. It is also a nice place for couples, with a low-light ambience and not too-loud music. Will go there again as soon as the occasion arises

An excellent brew pub in the centre of Trondheim next to the tall King Olav statue. Its in a very large basement area with lots of seating and tables. 20 beers on tap including their own porter and brown ale, both very tasty. The food was very good too, it comes from the Italian restaurant upstairs. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and chatty. Highly recommended.

Absolutely worth checking out. The selection of beers were enjoyable and the waitress spoke to the flavour notes well. The food was very tasty and good value. Also, not sure who set up the playlist for the evening but it was excellent.

Great microbrewery beers from a brewmaster who knows his stuff. Fantastically friendly staff who know their product inside out and a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you are in town.

Tasty Italian food, and a vast collection of tap beer. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Priced like one would expect; not the cheapest, but not unreasonably expensive either.

A good selection of beer brewed in house. The music is not so loud that it is irritating. This is a superb place to have a lønningspils with your colleagues.
