ØKSNES Falls - Tourist attraction in Hamar, Norway
DO NOT USE THIS TO NAVIGATE!!! Details below.Nice round walk to the waterfalls and more woodland afterwards (Kulturstig). The place with the bigger waterfall is difficult to get to at river level with a muddy descent on the left side (though the weather was dryand a steep incline with loose ground and a chain to assist the climb to the right of the river. This is at least challenging, I wouldnt attempt getting up or down in wet conditions. River crossings at the waterfall and the turning point of the Kulturstig happen via jumping over stones, no bridges there. The path itself is very nice but goes constantly up and down with stones and roots on it. Might be a challenge for some people not used to walking in the woods, we enjoyed it a lot.Now in early fall theres also blueberrys, lingonberrys and mushrooms everywhere! When navigating to this entry Google maps leads you on a Forrest way to private cabin which ends then, NOT to the parking lot of the waterfall!Use the parking lot "Korporeid" to navigate to.
Befriende utypisk terreng for denne regionen.
Short hike to this beautiful fall in a beautiful forest.
Beautiful view and you even have a little Swimming Place
Great hike and views
Fantastisk sted👍
👌👍
Very nice place and its possible to have a swim too.
Fin tur for å komme hit , og flott natur
Fint sted, trollsk stemning
Wunderschön muss man gesehen haben.
Bra stele
Flott stedHelt klart verdt promenaden
Wunderschöner Wasserfall mitten in der Natur.Halbe Stunde vom Parkplatz aus zu laufen.Weiter oben auch für kleine Kinder geeignet.
En fin plass
😍 😍 😍
Kan virkelig anbefale å ta turen oppom her.
Definitely one of very few places round Elverum that is worth to visit.
Mooie wandeling.
Wonderful little gem hidden just off the main road. There is a small sign when you drive through Øksna that is easy to miss, but if you spot it there is a small parking area just next to the river. From there on, the trail gradually narrows, following the river closely, until the path starts to climb. At this point one should be careful not to misstep, it is a long way down. Follow the blue marks on the trees through the forest floor covered in pine needles, up past a rocky stream, until you find yourself on a rocky outcrop overlooking the first larger waterfalls. This is a great spot to eat lunch, but dont miss out on the further falls! No climbing required, but its not a stroll in the park either. Kids should be okay, as long as you take care when the path flanks the cliff edge.
Kjempe flott sted for mennesker i alle aldre ❤❤👍
Worth to visit. Parking close to the main road, hard to do left turn to parking area, its reasonable to drive little towards Rena and turn around there on the first parking lot.But then you are already at the right place, take with you something to drink, to eat and camera. Its around 1,5km to waterfall (but dont stop with first one), it goes uphill, so if it have been raining it might be slippery. You can take the whole 8 km tour as well (one way), its beautiful. With kids be careful, the cliff is high.
Flott natur opplevelse.
