Review for O:LV Dine Under the Stars ExperienceFirst, I would recommend you be prepared to make the experience a beautiful time for you and the person that you plan to enjoy this experience with. I arrived to the hotel and it seemed as if the front desk didnt fully understand what the package was or offered. I waited 20min for the "Butler" with NO welcome champagne. That was my first clue that what was advertised was not what I was going to receive. When the Butler finally arrived, we walked out to the dinning experience with no explanation of what was about to happen or how the courses would be served. I thought maybe that comes later. Upon getting on the float I noticed what I pre-ordered was incorrect, the Butler said let me go check and I never seen him again. The staff member that got us out to the floating point tried to help us as much as possible, but there was a language barrier. I was so confused because I didnt know if we just start eating or wait for the correct meal or if the Butler was coming back. We just set there waiting for 15min alone before saying well lets just go ahead and eat. So, if you thought you were going to be well taken care of, its more of a figure it out yourself experience. The best part of the entire experience was the spectacular views. It was very beautiful. This experience has so much potential, but the lack of communication, incorrect meals, and confusion does ruin it a bit. At the $550 price point this experience needs a little refining. At the end of the night we just walked off the float wondering if we just go to valet and leave. Although, valet was included there was confusion on whether I had to pay or not. I think after a few more purchased packages they will perfect the experience. I just didnt know what to expect and Im sure it was that. Saving the night was the food and the views. I wouldnt recommend this experience, you could just go to a beautiful restaurant rooftop overlooking the water.Hopefully this helps the next person.

I had the most unpleasant time during my stay. Upon arrival, it was unbearably cold in the room and we had such a hard time falling asleep. We looked around for thermostat as well as AC remote but none available.The following morning we had to call the front desk several times before someone finally answered the phone to adjust the AC.No information was provided to us at check in which would have prevented from having to contact the front desk on different occasions.We had to call again for wifi password and were given the wrong information, so we had to call again which I’m sure you can understand how annoying that would be.The absolute kicker was however after a fun filled day of outdoor activities, we arrived to no water at the hotel.When we called the front desk we were told that the engineer was working on it and they would call us back after the water was turned back on.We waited for 3 hours hoping to hear from someone and finally we called down and received the response that the water had been turned back in awhile ago and we were able to shower.We stayed at the hotel for 3 days before someone finally came to make our bed. And yes, you read that correctly - literally just make the bed with the same dirty sheets that we had already informed the front desk we wanted change. The hotel employee even acknowledge this himself that we did call to have our sheets changed and bed made however that was not done The hotel employees lacked customer service. They literally never picked up the phone when we called and we had to go down to the lobby in several occasions.Even when they did engage with us, it felt as though we were bothering them or that they were doing us a favor.The room had a mildew scent from the minute we walked in to the minute we left and would not go away no matter how much air freshener we sprayed. Keep in mind I am allergic to mold and have asthma. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Social media pictures are deceiving.

Not worth the price. Rusty & dirty furniture in the room. Room did not smell clean, shower was dirty. Bed sheets did not smell clean. I was afraid to touch anything in the room. Needs better maintenance and cleaning.Rooftop pool and pool employees were great, very friendly.Had a friend stay in another room and had a worse experience. Blood stains on the bed, hairballs on the bathroom floor and AC leaking.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday in the Portfolio Suite w/balcony room. The room was spacious we loved the décor, the rainfall shower and deep sunken tub added a nice and romantic perk for couples. We LOVED the rooftop hot tub and infinity pool although they are small it was still nice and relaxing. The view from the balcony was terrible but overall the room was decent as far as space. The biggest issue was the slippery wet floors from the AC unit, the lack of cleanliness, and the unhelpful lazy rude staff in the front. Please hire more professional staff, and please make sure that housekeeping is cleaning and replacing toiletries in the rooms here! I informed them of this issue but they shrugged it off and lied to me about being able to place me in a different room. Thank God my boyfriend and I switched hotels after the 2nd day. The room they put us in was right by the elevator on the 2nd floor it was terrible and not a way to treat a guest who is celebrating a birthday. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. There are way better hotels in the same area. Save your money and book elsewhere the staff will not accommodate you at all.

Had the best time here for my 30th birthday!!! Food is wonderful, rooftop pool is awesome, and the hotel staff are all super helpful. Looking back we regretted not booking our stay for a longer time! Would definitely recommend and cant wait to come back!!

Had a great 5 days here with my wife recently. I understand it might not for everyone but it’s a hotel definitely worth more than 1 star.We had room 510 and it was great. The bathroom is huge and the lighting, balcony and the finishes of the room are for a 4 star hotel.The rooftop pool is amazing. Very quiet every morning and we had a relaxing time ordering and bring our own drinks from our room.The restaurant on the 1st floor is absolutely a must. Must make a reservation.We also indulged in the sunset champagne lounge in the bay. A little pricey but honestly not a lot of places where this is available.

as i’m sure others are, i was a bit hesitant on staying here due to some of the other reviews but i could not have been more satisfied with my stay. i am a frequent traveler and enjoy boutique properties over chain hotels & i would consider my expectations to be pretty high. i did not experience a single issue during my stay. the property is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are very nice & very clean, the staff was overly friendly and helpful & we loved being able to have access to the sister property next door. i would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Juan & i can’t wait to revisit!

Was hoping for an unbelievable experience for our engagement and was surprised with stained bedding and an out of service elevator. For the high rates, it falls short of a high end boutique hotel, suggest to spend a bit more and go to the Ritz.

A local hairdresser shared with us this gem and we were totally impressed. We went to the rooftop for a couple of drinks but mostly to watch the sunset and for sure the view didnt disappoint.

Pretty bar overlooking some of the city. I didn’t stay here but wanted to visit the bar. Hotel is gorgeously decorated 💛Was able to order drinks , but wanted to order food and they never came around. This was for several tables. A few people were having to almost walk out before the servers saw them and charge for their meal/ drinks.The servers were working but there just wasn’t enough. And they looked like they were also working above in the pool area.Didn’t make reservations *

There is a number of reasons why this hotel is receiving a one-star rating. While appearing luxurious and high-quality, the room itself and the service we received were very poor.Our stay started with our bags being taken from us with the promise that they would be brought to our room. Thirty minutes later and we still had no idea where they were. We went down to the lobby and asked the front desk where our bags were and they told us they were being "sanitized" and would be delivered to our room shortly. We finally got our bags and everything was still inside. I mention this because we spoke to another guest at the hotel who had their bags "sanitized" and they actually were missing items from them when they arrived at their room. Additionally, this "sanitization" process was not something they did with every guests bag. We sat in the lobby waiting for an experience and noticed that several travelers were checking in without their bags ever leaving being "sanitized" or leaving the lobby. This can only leave one to expect that not all bags are being "sanitized" and they are only choosing to do that to some of them.As for the room, when we arrived it was sixty degrees. The air conditioning unit is fairly hard to figure out but once we did, we were able to set it to a comfortable temperature. While you can adjust the air, you cannot adjust the humidity in the room. If you are expecting to escape the humid Puerto Rican air during your trip, dont consider your room someplace you will be able to do so. It was as humid in the room as it was outside during the storm. This didnt change the entire time we stayed, and if we made the room cooler, the water would just accumulate on the granite floors or stick to the ceiling and then fall onto our belongings and everything else in the room. We asked the front desk to do something about the humidity and they told us there was nothing that could be done and we would have to deal with it.Lastly, and the most important, please DO NOT USE THEIR TOWELS OR ROBES. They do not clean them very well, the reason I know this is because as soon as my wife used them, she developed a skin rash all over her back and shoulders that was not there when we arrived. I have read other reviews and saw that the linens and towels were unclean for others, leaving me to suspect that they must have been unclean for us as well. Additionally, if you expect your room cleaned while you are out, dont expect cleaning staff to arrive until after around 5 pm, which is when they arrived at our room.Overall, this hotel may appear to look amazing in photos but is very underwhelming at its best and a health hazard at its worst. Every time we passed by the front desk it seemed like another guest had an issue with their room or the hotel service. There are some staff members that do care about your stay, but that number is very few. Fortunately, we were able to get one of our nights refunded and we stayed at one of the resorts in San Juan without any other issues. This hotel is in desperate need of better management and better cleaning practices. You may find other hotels are more worth your money if you plan on staying in San Juan for vacation.

I loved this hotel! In town to celebrate my birthday and wow, this place is beautiful. Stayed two nights, the room was amazing. The bar, the lobby, pool and rooftop, luxurious with grown and sexy vibes. Also, my husband and I really enjoyed a little impromptu date night at Arya one evening. We will return!

Beautiful hotel BUT if you are looking for a luxury experience please stay elsewhere.Upon arrival you can see the room was not properly cleaned. As beautiful as the shower may be, you can see no one has cleaned it as there was water stain all over the doors and handles. Obvious amounts of dust and dirt that seem to have been swept under the bed, sheets had stains in them as if they had not been washed from previous guest, which left me a terrible itchy rash on my back. Ordered room service and was charged $110 for two steak and eggs meals that came cold, in to go containers and drinks brought in plastic cups with no lids. On the first day we use the glass wear in the room, and the next morning you can tell that they simply rinsed out the glasses and replace them as I can still see my fingerprints and lip stains on them. Aside from one of the front desk girls who was really nice and helpful all the staff appeared to hate their job, from valet to the front desk, restaurant staff, and housekeepers. For a hotel that charges $1,700 for 3 nights the service and cleanliness was of a cheap $25/night motel. Something needs to be done about this, my experience here was absolutely terrible, disappointing, and quite disgusting. I have pictures and videos if management would care to see.

the hotel itself is nice, however customer service is terrible! the lack of communication is pretty bad, as much as they charge they should have excellent customer service. When we were at the pool nobody came to take our order, we had to go find someone after an hour of waiting so they could take our order, also there was no available towels, which we also had to ask for but they never came. The cleaning staff is loud so be prepared to get no sleep. Other friends who stayed with us in a different room had to go all the way to the lobby because no one at the front desk was picking up the phone at midnight to let them know their AC was not working and Nobody fix their issue, we had to go around the hotel to find the manager for help, ridiculous!

Room was beautiful until the water pressure stopped working, house keeping stole $700 from our personal luggage. The manager Antonio moved us to another room and promised a two nights refund for the missing money. Which the staff also made it seem like this isn’t the first time a room has missed money after housekeeping had been through to clean it. We checked out and received our system which stated we would be refunded two nights stay. Here we are a month later and we still have not received our refund. I’ve contacted the hotel multiple times to speak with the manager Antonio and I continue to get a run around as to why the refund had not been processed. I am now taking legal action against this hotel. the pictures of this place are beautiful but it is a nightmare to say the least. DO NOT STAY HERE!

A week and a half ago my husband surprised me for a night getaway in this hotel. When we got there everything was so beautiful. The lobby, the room was decorated to celebrate our anniversary and they had a friendly staff. Unfortunately the next day when we went to take a bath preparing for our check out, the water had little pressure so we called front desk and they said theyd notify engeneering. All of a sudden a bit of pressure came and while my husband was bathing the water ran out and he was left with soap all over him. When we went downstairs we notified again the staff at from desk and they said there was a problem in the area with the water and their water tank had problems that they were repairing at the moment. Afterwards the general manager came and we also told him what had happened and he said the water tank had ran out of water and they were waiting for a truck to bring more water. He said he was sorry for the inconveniences and that if we were going to stay there in the near future to give him a call and he would give us a discount. Also he gave us some truffles. When we left our car was brought by valet service and we didnt inspect it at that moment. The next day my husband was washing the car at home (brand new carand he noticed some scratches in the back wheel. I immediately called the hotel and asked to speak with the valet supervisor. Jay (front desksaid he wasnt available and I told him what had happened. He took my info so that they would call me back. I called a second time and a woman answered and she told me that the general manager would be calling me the next day (Monday March 7). Till this day I havent received a call. This is and expensive hotel and they should do better in these cases.

I’m a travel agent and my clients went there 2 weeks ago. They loved the hotel, rooftop, etc , but they complained about the room smelling like mold . As a luxury hotel this is embarrassing and made me look bad because I praised this hotel so much ; since I stayed there before . You guys really need to work on the smell as they complain the room smelled like mold their entire vacation .

The hotel itself was nice but very overpriced. Its definitely not worth $400 plus a night. I seen better hotels around that area for less and was in better condition. I do agree with the other review that I had high expectations for this hotel and they werent met. I also experienced the wet carpet mildew smell. Housekeeping did come and spray some stuff on the carpet but of course it temporarily took away the smell. My next issue was that this is not an ADULT ONLY hotel. The entire time I was there it was kids everywhere. Remind you that was the only reason I picked it was for an adult-only get away. My next issue was I ordered a bday package and they never set it up in the room. They did offer to bring it the next day but it was pointless because the surprise was already ruined. I did ask them for a refund but I was told it had to go to corporate before getting my money back smh.. My overall stay was ok and the staff was really nice but I think they shouldnt advertise this place as adult only when its really not and replace all the carpet to get rid of that smell.

Only giving 4 stars because my husband and i ended up making the best of it. We had good sleep and enjoyed the shower set up offered more than we expected , the location, great view from the rooftop et cetera however the room size based on our expectations “ luxury " and the feel of it was not up to standard! Felt just like a regular room you will pay less for what we actually paid for. Olive do better, you can’t advertise “ luxury " charge an arm and leg for " basic" ! Anyway.

I booked using the refundable rate on hotels.com (have policy/charge in email 9/10/21and was billed by the hotel directly. I canceled a month earlier than the deadline (also in writingAfter several calls to receive the 993.21 refund from what I was billed in September, the hotel still hasnt provided a refund. Today I received a new email saying that Id only get a credit rather than a full refund. Watch out when booking the "fully refundable rate" as you arent going to get your money back.

Great hotel, the rooms were nice and big, the staff was friendly, and the rooftop bar and pool was great. Right in the heart of condado. Really close to great beaches and restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel.

So the room is pretty big and the room gives off a cute luxe glam vibe. However the hotel itself wasn’t the problem for me. It was the staff, the cleaning service was poor and the managers are kinda rude (condescension at its best!As for cleaning, they did nothing but change the bedsheet I mean it. We came from the beach and had a bit of sand on our duffle and our clothes. The staff could feel the sand almost crunching as they walked and didn’t give second thought to it. Aside from that the bigger issue was the overhead shower that malfunctioned and began to rain on my phone, quite literally! I told staff about it after my phone stopped working. They said that if my phone was in perfect condition the water wouldn’t have damaged it as bad.(I dropped my phone the first night at their other hotel (Olive boutique)and the back of it cracked, on the back). Anyway they dragged me up and down this path of lies about how they could do nothing. Miguel, a manager told me basically it’s my fault but he would see what he could do, which in fact was nothing. They promised to reach out to me via email and sort the matter out for me to get a replacement phone ($250 with ATTor for them to give me a free night stay (didn’t care for). No one ever contacted me and now the numbers strangely stopped working and the general hotel number is never answered).

I had such high expectations for this hotel. The dark and marble decor was amazing. We actually received great service. The first room had a horrible wet mop odor and the carpet was disgusting. The second room we received was much better. The humidity was horrible the floor and all the mirrors were sweating. I literally slipped and almost face planted. The location was the best part of our experience. All the restaurants and beach is walking distance! I agree this hotel is a big catfish. The pictures definitely sold us!

If low standards arent an issue for you, you will love it. This place needs a deep clean and renovating. This was absolutely not worth the money. The couch was disgusting as well as the duvet cover and carpet. Room smelled of old soiled carpet. Tub and doors were filthy. ALL the linen was tan from excessive usage(sheets, towels etc). The air-conditioning exhausts leak water on the room floors if you turn the temperature up past 70, so I hope you like it Arctic Circle cold. The floors are tile so dont slip. The lights in my bathroom mirror did not work. The thermostat in my friends room didnt work and her air never turned off so she froze in her room. This place may have been worth the money 10-15yrs ago but it isnt now. I complained about the room and asked to be moved, the manager said they had no other rooms available. I had to wait for them to go in and clean the sofa, duvet, etc. My friends room also needed cleaning. I should have known better when it stated they dont give refunds when we were booking. They gave me a bottle of Proseco for the inconvenience................ I would suggest Caribe Hotel by Hilton about 9mins away from here.

If you’re going to the rooftop bar, please be aware that even if you get really bad service - 18% gratuity. On top of that, our server Cristina up-charged is EVERYTHING (which was NOT appreciated). The views were worth it but the service was not.

The hotel is simply beautiful. The attention to detail was amazing. The rooms and the common area were just gorgeous.I don’t think I read the description very well. So I will not doc them stars for that. I didn’t realize it wasn’t on the beach. But that’s for sure on me. Not a big deal because lots of great beaches walking distance.I’ve stayed at boutique hotels before… but this one was a bit unusual. Everything closed at 7. The pool and hot tub area were so pretty but I found it odd that you have to walk through the rooftop bar/restaurant area to get there. Then as you take a dip into the pool the restaurant bar patrons that aren’t necessarily staying there, can see you. The pool is a work ofArt but it’s about as big as a fountain. And it resembles one too. There are no lounge chairs on this level. Only restaurant tables and chairs. You have to go up another flight of stairs for the lounge chairs and the hot tub. But it’s atleast private and people at the bar can’t see you.The hot tub is stunning. But everything closed at 7pm. Let me repeat that. 7?!??? In Puerto Rico. Really????The staff are nice but I got the feeling we were being annoying? We aren’t usually annoying?! We travel a lot and usually the things we were asking for, are just given with requesting. Maybe I missed it in the description but they don’t clean your room daily. Which means you don’t have fresh towels. Or replacement coffee pods for the coffee maker. And the housekeeping staff leaves at 6? So if you didn’t know to request these things or have your room cleaned they can’t help you after 6. There is no where to grab ice or water bottles… so you have to request that too. Sometimes a few times because they seemed to be understaffed.The first night we took a shower and didn’t close the bathroom door all the way. There became so much humidity and water all over the marble floor that it became like a slip and slide. You couldn’t walk without falling. We asked about that and someone came up to mop the floor. They put all of our towels on the floor to mop it up and then, again the next day we assumed they would replace the towels, they didn’t. Thankfully we caught the housekeeping staff on their way out at 545.The door man doesn’t actuallyOpen doors?! I’m not above opening my own door but I found it odd thatI’m a pandemic where the doors didn’t automatically open, and there was a doorman there at all times, that they didn’t actually open a door. Ever. We walked through it about 20Times and only once did the person open the door. Every other time they just watched us do it.Overall the rooms were so pretty. It would have been nice if they weren’t so humid. There was condensation all over the ceiling…. Drips forming and they would eventually fall making the bed wet and the floor super slippery.Would I stay there again? No. We were looking for a bit more of a lively place given that it’s PR! The city who never seems to sleep! The pool and hot tub location was awkward and a complete bummer they closed at 7.For the price you pay, I’d like to have a beach or pool access at least until 10pm?? And I would have liked room service, fresh towels, etc.But if you are looking for a Gorgeous place to lay your head, and you crave some peace and quiet, it may be a good fit!

Need to lower your expectation from the tempting photos and descriptions. There are many details that need to be worked on but if you have a good discount, go for it. I give 2 stars because the location is quite good and the staffs have been helpful enough.On the plus side:The decorations were lavish. The rooftop pool was kind of small but had the vibe and feeling so it somewhat met our expectation. Location-wise the hotel was also closed to the beach and besides it there was the large lagoon therefore the view and access to the beach were plus.On the down side:Not sure if every single room is the same, but the room that I had (Panorama Suite Beyond Balcony), got no ventilation at all!! Not in the bathroom, not in the bedroom, just nothing. The AC worked fine at the beginning but as soon as we took showers, the room started to filled with vapor from the bathrooms and condensed on the walls, the AC vents. The room got so humid that the AC stopped working. We had to call the front desk and asked someone to fix the AC, we thought that all the water on the walls and floors was because of the AC stopped working. Before we turned in, the AC still worked a little bit but later during the late-night, the AC stopped working again and I was waken up by the warmth and wetness of the room. Shocking that I paid more than $400 for this. Besides the ventilation problem, the room also got many tiny details that werent good enough to match the ratings. The faucets were quite flawed in design, the velocity of the water was too fast and just splashed everywhere no matter how we used them. The TV had a weird line on the screen (probably because it was right under the AC vent and got shorted before by the water drips). Some of the door knobs and corners of the walls shown that the room wasnt really well-maintained or well furnished by the contractors.The experience overall was really below our expectation. Hope that they could improve in the future.

Faux luxury at its finest. Items in disrepair coupled with poorly trained staff left me wishing for so much more. This cute boutique hotel has great potential and is in a good location. However the price demands much higher quality. It seemed like every time we requested something from dinner reservations to room cleaning before a certain time to a one-hour late checkout the answer was either a straight “no” or “we’ll get back to you,” which by the way, they never did. I had one staff member state “well you didn’t talk to me,” when I complained about not hearing back about dinner reservations. There was a broken planter with shards just laying around it on the pool deck. My room had outdoor furniture with missing cushions and hot water was a mystery—I never knew if it would be warm or hot. Overall it was very disappointing because it bills itself as a luxury hotel.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. Echoing many of the other reviews here, this hotel is the king of catfish. The staff are toxic, and not in the Britney Spears way. They are rude, condescending and so far from helpful. The hotel appears in pictures to be luxurious, stylish and charming but it’s all a facade- the lobby is furnished with cheap decor, the rooms are gaudy and tacky, the pool is smaller than the rooms, the “view” of our room was literally a guy grooming dogs on his balcony, the bathroom was dirty and poorly stocked. The basic things you expect of any hotel, let alone one that bills themselves as a “luxury” hotel were missing- no control of AC, broken TV, no iron, no microwave, no tissues, no extra toilet paper, no local guides. There were really no amenities- no activity options nor a gym or fitness center. The restaurant was pedestrian and boring, and the food completely bland. We requested that our room be cleaned and the staff marked our room clean but didn’t do anything to improve the condition of the room.Our stay at this hotel completely detracted from our experience in Puerto Rico so much so that we left the island early, cutting our trip short to avoid having to stay in the hot, loud room another night.Avoid! This! Hotel!

Eh, this place was more of a catfish. My boyfriend and I stayed at 4 different places during our trip in Puerto Rico, this place was by far the most expensive and our least favorite one. You absolutely have to use valet every time you come and go (they always expect a tip), and service could be better from all parts in the hotel. We arrived about an hour before checking time, so we went to the rooftop bar to have some drinks. We arrived back downstairs to check in and our room still wasnt ready.My boyfriend paid almost $300 for a birthday surprise package to me to be set up in the room. Apparently, the front desk staff called him and set everything up and told my boyfriend on the phone how there would be rose petals all over the bed and room, and a card that included a message from my boyfriend. When we saw the display, it was a measly 7 rose petals, yes, 7, and a BLANK card, nothing written inside. The balloon also deflated later that night, waste of money if you ask me and I wish my boyfriend didnt spend his money on that since it wasnt the same service he heard from staff over the phone.The rooms have an elegant feel, and the shower is so spacious!! However, one of our shower sprays werent working correctly and the top of the ceiling in the shower looked like it was about to cave in.My boyfriend went downstairs to inform staff of all these issues, including the birthday display he paid so much money for. The front desk staff said sorry but that was it. They sent someone to inspect the shower, he came and looked at it, he said he would come back and he never did.The fine dining restaurant at the hotel is not what we were expecting. Again the most expensive restaurant on our trip and we liked it the least.It was a lesson learned on our part and now we know where to stay and not stay during our trips to PR.

It was okay but everything looked old and dirty. It kind of had a odd smell in the room. Also there was old water stains everywhere in the bathroom. The tub wasn’t all that clean either and that’s mainly why we wanted the hotel room. Everything was just dark and scary but other than that it was good

Based on the amount we paid for a room i was disappointed in the lack of amenities. This hotel did not met my expectations. It was okay. The bathroom was absolutely amazing but $400 a night should at least have a microwave and refrigerator . Also, i was disappointed in the room service. $50 for steak and eggs for it to be served in a to go brown box was unflattering for the price. The rooftop service was horrible as well. Several other guest received the same poor service as well. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for but this hotel did not meet the criteria for a 4star hotel. Would not recommend

Hotel is not worth the price. One elevator, no microwave, no iron, no ice machine, not on the oceanfront. Torn and dirty seat cushion on balcony, lifeless plants. The room amenities were ok. The view faces a side street with parked cars. Its not as lavish as the website leads you to believe. Better off staying at the Condado Vanderbilt, Laconcha resort, Caribe Hilton or Marriott to get your money worth. Also, the A/C in the room would not get cold...it stayed on 74 degrees even after maintenance came.

Listen, I am so upset to even say this because I had such high expectations for this place but it was such a disappointment. THIS PLACE IS A CATFISH!!! It 100% ruined our trip. We stayed in the panorama suite w/ the beyond balcony for 4 days. The second we checked in they asked for our bags to "disinfect", which they took out of sight and my partners speaker was stolen. It was her carry on so it didnt leave her sight once and there was an issue w tsa and I watched her put it back in so we know for a fact it was during that time only that it left her side. We had to talk to management for an hour and a half immediately arriving. We then get to the room and it looked differently than on photos and smelled completely like mildew. Specifically the ceiling was much lower and you are not directly over the water. You are over a busy street. You can hear everything from the people talking on the street, parties, cars, lawn mowers at 8am- you name it. We couldnt sleep in once. The dividers on the balcony that are disconnecting you from your neighbor are made of plastic grass only so you can literally hear your neighbor breathe and also can peak through cracks so you have 0 privacy. I cannot make this up- The rooms AC ended up breaking and everything in the room was soaked including the bed, all my papers and the floor. They sent a maintence guy in to check and he said it was the breaker (lol). Again more hours talking to management and trying to get things fixed. We also found two little baby roaches in the right sink coming out of the cracks. We tried to flush them down but we saw them again the following morning. They should do a better job at thoroughly cleaning such as the corners, cracks, and especially the shower which has left over wash marks. We found left over crackers and a hair on the bed when we first arrived too. The room also did not have any sort of menu for room service or any number for us to call to contact management so we had to commute downstairs every time there was an issue which unfortunately was often. The last night we were upgraded to the highest level suit and there was literally an air unit on the ceiling and left over hair ties from the previous guest crusted on the shower floor. Again- if CLEAN DETAILS ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU THIS IS JOT FOR YOU. I could wrote a novel about our horrible experience but Im sure you get the point.This place has a beautiful pool/ lounge area and the aesthetic is gorgeous however if you are looking for quality stay elsewhere. Come for some pics only and save yourself the money.

We expected O:LV 55 to be more than what is was. Our expectations were definitely too high. For the amount of money travelers pay to stay in specific hotels there are just the simple things that should be included. There was no iron, no robes for lounging, the room lacked cleanliness. We called the front desk to clean room again especially the bathroom and to see the staff was cleaning with Windex was highly disappointing. The hotel management staff complimented my fiance and I with a bottle of champagne which was appreciated. The bedding was comfortable and slept well. Beautiful balcony with view, and lastly the showers were great. It has multiple shower heads but the door didnt close which led to a mess on the bathroom floor. Overall we rate them a 3. Beautiful hotel but for the rate it definitely could be much better. BEAUTIFUL, BIG, AND DIRTY.

Best hotel experience we ever had. From the beautifully designed and executed interiors, to the spotless cleanliness, to the sunny views, everything was beyond expectation. Above all, the staff is super courteous, friendly and efficient and they went out of their of their way to give us the royal treatment. Would visit here again for sure.

Beautiful hotel but needs many updates. The pics of the room can be decieving on size and view. The desk workers were very pleasant. Housekeeping need to be more thorough and maintenance needs to be utilized more. The toilet in first room didnt flush right, the second room the air wouldnt come on so it was so hot and muggy. Its socks they dont have breakfast option anymore due to covid nad the spa was closed every day we was there except one meaning we couldnt even find out the availability before the day they were actually open. But again beautiful scenery and decor. If u want beautiful pics go hear. If you want a comfortable stay... wait until you start seeing better reviews on here.

The design of this hotel is really beautiful, definitively a luxurious place. However, the service, while okay, is not luxurious at all, not worth the price point; and service is why I really like to go places like this. They lack attention to detail and anticipatory service; went there to celebrate a special occasion, even asked them to help plan certain things, etc. and they did not even acknowledged the fact. While there, a couple of situations arose that I wouldve expected them to show better service... To top it off and give me a bitter goodbye, they charged me $80+ in a resort fee, when literally all public areas of the hotel were closed. When I asked the front desk about what was included on the fee then, she replied "Wi-Fi and complementary water"(water that we never even got)...Pretty disappointing reply...The location is truly great and the design beautiful is gorgeous, so if youre looking for a photo perfect place, located near many great things, this will be a great hotel, if youre looking for exceptional service, find somewhere else.

Hello my name is Emmanuel Rodriguez and William Fortune: The O:LV hotel is one of the best I have stayed in Puerto Rico for so many reason; the quality of the service is impeccable, the rooms are stunning and the cleanliness is amazing. A especially in this moment of a pandemic I came with my partner and our friends and they were very pleased at how beautiful everything is in the hotel. The restaurant RAYA is a marvelous gastronomic experience; our favorite dish was the sea bass, which we highly recommend, and the attention of the lovely manager, Wanda, she is so great . I’m so happy that we stay here and I want to thank Loisse Herger, the owner and CEO, for all the attention, you are truly a people person and this is what makes a great Owner!

Very nice hotel. Good location. Staff was exceptional especially Stephanie. There were some minor issues but they wouldnt stop us from staying again. The pool and spa area was super especially the view. There was an attendant on the weekend but not on Monday so there wasnt any towels or amenities. We had to ask several times to get towels. We did not use the restaurants so cant comment on that. The welcome drink of champagne was very nice. Very modern but it was hard to figure out the lighting system. Again we had a great time and if the opportunity arises we would stay again. Also super shower and bath. Would highly recommend getting a balcony room. Our friends did and next time thats what we would book. Great view of the lagoon.

Where do I began...1st this hotel is NICE!! I mean from the minor details of how the lights dim in your room by mood, to the very spacious room and bathroom. The shower opens up into your private balcony which is amazing. Now the staff is beyond amazing and accommodating. They were sooo helpful. Now let me give a special shout out to all the rooftop crew. For the short period we were there, they made us feel like family. Thank you for putting up with us and going out yall way to make sure we were ok. Whenever ee visit San Juan again, we definitely visiting the rooftop crew. This hotel is nice but the pool and the view is breathtaking.

Great boutique hotel in the Condado area of San Juan, located just a block off the beach. We actually stayed at the more rustic side initially, and then moved to the swanky sister hotel after the AC unit gave up the ghost. Both sides definitely had their charms, and the staff were wonderful and attentive on both sites. The rooftop bars held exquisite sunset views across the lagoon, and the well appointed rooms made for a comfortable stay.
