Old-fashioned pub & grill with casual eats, draft brews & occasional live music in comfy atmosphere.
Nothing too special... It was close by and I will there again
Came for a burger and left with way more than that! Monday night is the night for a burger and a beer here! Easy place to make friends, thanks to the customers and staff being so friendly. Be careful, the drinks are strong and the finger steaks will have you shoveling too much in!
Had the Mushroom Berger and the Swiss Dip. Both were delicious. Could be a bit more generous with the beef but were very free with the best fries.
The food was good. The service was great.
Excellent food and drinks. Friendly environment. Reasonable pricing! Our go to lunch place when working in the area. Highly recommend.
They have the best nachos of any place we have ever been bam. Unfortunately mentally nachos have been off the menu for quite some time and we were very happy that they were back on the menu. Staff is always very friendly. That day Megan was our server. She gave us prompt service and the drinks were a good pour.
Friendly wait staff. Good music. Saturday steak nights are the best! Ross is a great cook.
Nice, relaxed atmosphere. No complaints.
The atmosphere was just as I remembered from, oh 15 years ago when I was a somewhat regular there. Comfortable, friendly. Waitress and staff fantastic friendly funny as though you had known them for years (but different folks of course. Its just the spirit there.Food marvelous as always. Just wish Id been able to be there on a Thursday night for cornbeef and cabbage I SO loved. But Im back in Arizona now.
Uncle Chris and his open Mic on Thursdays is hoot! Super friend guy, staff and performers - be sure do drop in and play if youre passing through ;)
Excellent bar food. Onion rings were excellent as was the Reuben sandwich. Great price and the service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Excellent pork chops w/ Apple crisps mashed potatoes & gray green bean casserole with broccoli ham & cheese 🍲 soup!!!!🥰🥰🥰
Food was great and service was fantastic. Would recommend
Went there with friends. Truly enjoyed the atmosphere & staff. I will be returning. Very cool!
Decent little place. Service was ok. Biggest disappointment was the lack of fish and chips. Food was filling and prepared well. Nothing great and nothing bad to note. Just left us all with an indifferent feeling of the dining experience.
French fries and fingersteaks were soaked in grease and not good at all. They dont know how to make an Old fashioned either. Its a real bummer because we are moving from Meridian to this side of town and love having a local joint to hang out at.
Love this place! Great food and drinks!
Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great food
The most awesome space to celebrate St Paddys Day in Boise! Atmosphere and great food - their corned beef and cabbage is excellent...
First time at this restaurant on St. Patricks Day. Brst damn corn beef since we left Chicago. Will be here several times. Reminds us of our bar in Chicago. You will not be disappointed.
Stopped here for a bite and drinks after skiing on the slopes -- its right there at the bottom of the hill once youre back in civilization. They had a band that was really good. The server was attentive and friendly. Good burger, and the best onion rings EVER.
Excellent food and service. Everyone is always friendly. We will return.
Good drinks, above average food, great staff. I find myself here at least once a week.
Friend and I from Illinois were visiting Boise to drive my girlfriends car to her. I googled Irish pubs and this place looked good so we visited and loved the food, drink, servers and atmosphere. I am flying out next week and my girlfriend and I will definitely be there again! Thanks!
$6 burgers Monday night were amazing. Great service and chill vibes.
Awesome spot. Food is mostly made from scratch and delicious. Staff is awesome. Great beers on tap. Would recommend.
Great place just off the mountain at Bogus. $6 build your own burgers on Mondays. Excellent Food and service
Food was great and the friendliness of the staff was awesome. We will definitely be visiting again.
Really like this place. Build a burger monday was a great deal. The waitress was awesome and the atmosphere is on point
Food was great. Service was excellent. Air conditioning was much needed. Really comfy little hideaway bar.
Went there for a birthday. Aurora, the bartender was very rude. She charged us double for a tequila shot and gave us the wrong shot. She would not correct the wrong doing, and instead decided to yell at me an my group. She never intended to listen to the situation and was definitely the rudest bartender Ive ever spoken to. Not coming back. Hated the shots, and got charged double the price because "she heard incorrectly". Terrible customer service.
Best finger steaks Ive had. Server was great. Trivia contest was a bit loud, but we were sitting right next to the announcer.
The Monday burger special is probably the best value in Boise. Will definitely be back for more.
Super place with great food. The best local place from the normal downtown scene. The best comfort food, cold beer and employees. The employees are the friendliest and kindest you will ever find. Its like home. Dont forget to tip the Bartenders and Servers. They deserve it.
Server was alone at 4:00 p.m. but managed pretty well, considering the place was full. Club sandwich and fingersteaks were amazing! All dips( cocktail sauce, BBQ sauce, fry saucewere housemade. All in all, an extremely pleasant experience. Would go back.
Great Irish bar and grill in Boise! Amazing food, great low key atmosphere, and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for an authentic old school bar and grill. Great Drinks, and Great Food!
Fun local pub and the night we went, there was an incredible band. Not much room to dance (though we did manage). Food selections are somewhat limited for anyone with dietary restrictions (hard to find anything vegan, for example), but people who generally like pub food should be happy.
Great place with some local history. Joey, are waitress, was phenomenal! Place was bustling with a live band and never once did we need for anything. She has some amazing multitasking skills and a welcoming smile.
Love the food! Most of the waitresses were cool, a couple grouches though. It was pretty clique like here, which I hated. But I kept going back because the food is that good.
Grill sludge in my Philly. So gross!!!! Kitchen has some....short comings! I was so hungry I ate the parts that didnt have it. Still, so gross. And the entree came out before our appetizer. Cancelled it, waitress was apologetic cause its not her fault.
I went there to see a local band. They played inside and on the right side of the building. There were approximately fifty people watching and listening to the band. I enjoyed the band and look forward to going there when live performances are done outside. I did not eat any food at this time however I did see several take food home with them.
Service was friendly. We had the lamb stew and were very disappointed. Tasted like a mixture of little bits of lamb and large chunks of beef stew meat. The base was very bland and had no taste. The best part of the meal was the white bread and butter.
Quiet pub, with a homey and warm feel. A perfect spot to meet with good friends. Pub food til 9 (10 on weekendsand the sweetest bartenders around. Live music every so often brings a fun eclectic crowd.
Started hanging out here on Saturday nights for the last two months because of the music. Different very very good band each week. Food is good enough to keep us coming back too.
I wouldnt normally leave a bad review because I work in a restaurant myself and I waitress occasionally. And maybe it was an off day and maybe it was because we got there at 8 and they dont like serving dinner past 8 Im not sure what time they close but there was lots of people at the bar still so we assumed we werent too late for dinner the food was terrible and the service wasnt great either the girl was nice but we were the only other table besides one other larger table and she couldnt bring the salad before the meal or the appetizer which was nachos for 3 year old because he was super hungry thank goodness he held it together we waited a long time for all the food to come out at once the nachos had hard cheese like it was nuked in a microwave too long you could barely eat it we barely touched it I ordered a Reuben thinking an Irish place with fresh sliced corned beef as it stated on the menu for this item would be great but there was hardly any meat too much sauerkraut and my husband got the fish and chips the fish was soggy and fell apart when you picked it up he was not happy. I had to ask for a water and once my kid was done with his lemonade I had to share my water with him after we got our food she never asked to refill our drinks until we were done. never asked how the food was or I would have let them know. My one coctail was great tho!
Restaurant/Bar, Dark ambiance. Friendly employees. Server checks in during meal as well as manager or owner. Reasonably priced. Some of the best finger steaks I have have had in the valley. I will be frequenting this establishment often.
One of the bartenders has been consistently extremely rude towards me for no reason, but otherwise the food is surprising pretty good, and they often have decent music. Gets really crowded, though, and often difficult to find seating.
Lots of great neighborly atmosphere with a good selection of beers and great food. If they have entertainment when you show up and the wait is too long just go next door to another great restaurant but this one is stellar. The mac and cheese was awesome with bacon bits on top creamy homemade sauce big noodles and enough to take home as leftovers
The food is awesome! Everything cooked to perfection. The service is great too. Id go on a Wednesday or Thursday to avoid the crowds coming down from Bogus. Saturday nights they have live bands and Thursday night is open mic night.
Awesome little pub, super friendly and great with kids. If you have a picky eater, they can make them happy. Cozy clean, and great food/ service. Get the build a burger if you can (on mondaysand the ham and bean soup, I would punch kittens for that soup, seriously.
