O'Learys in Karlstad

A very good place in the centre of the city to hang out with your friends/family/colleagues anyone. You have different kind of indoor games like shuffleboard, bowling, mini golf where you can enjoy your time. This place also serves food for dinner. The food tasted good. The place is well maintained with a very good ambience. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

Quality of the food is not good. Extremely expensive for what you get. Twice the price and tastes less than half as good as burgers in other restaurants in the city.They do serve alcohol and have lots of fun games available like bowling, minigolf, darts, pool etc. Minigolf course is not as good as in other OLearys restaurants in larger cities. 9 holes of cramped courses.Sad to see they have removed the VR corner they previously had.So in short, if you are going out for a beer and some fun games, or to watch a match on TV with some friends, this is a good place. If you are going out to eat, go somewhere else.

Ordered and paid for 5 beers through the app. 50 minutes later and no beer, we picked up our stuff and left.Wouldnt recommend this place at all, most of the activities doesnt work properly and are heavily worn down. Staff is inexperienced and nonchalant to the guests. Toilets look like a trench from the first world war.Only positive for this place is the bouncers, big up!

The food service was, surprisingly, completely useless. I hope this was temporary, but two separate waitresses were so bad that it deserves a 1 star. We had people with (simpleallergies and dietary requirements, and they simply didnt bother giving us the right things. Sandwich without mayo came with mayo, diet soda came with sugar, burger with sweet potato fries came with ordinary fries and when we asked to have it fixed we got three ordinary fries packages instead. Everything was slow - we asked for water with the wine no less than four times. The food itself was decent, but unless the waitresses get straightened out, this place is going to have plenty of bad reviews coming up.

Quick service, though Coca-Cola was flat and bun for vegan burger was so dry it fell apart + tasteless

Fantastic service!!! We had a minor disrubyency in our booking, but the guy manning the bar went above and beyond to solve it and make sure we had the best experience possible, even giving us our entire games night for free because of it. Truly amazing really!!

Sat down for 15 minutes and no one came and served us at all as it is table service only. We wanted drinks and to play some bowling. Didnt make sense at all as the place wasnt even busy. Really disappointed.

Holymoly huge place

Super big and chill games pub in central Karlstad.I love the interior decorations,friendly staff, its got large rooms with gaming sections of all sorts,where you can play board games or even bowley, at the downfloor. A lot of TV screens displayed all over the restaurant,it makes it a very cool and cosy place to come watch sports. Totally recommend going there! I also loved the nachos and the food and over all I was highly impressed by the pub!

Great atmosphere...the supervisor Jan extremely helpful....the barmaids are very warmly especially Ebba and Kim.....I spent all weekend there watching football and ice hockey...this is a very special place and an absolute must if you visit karlstad....I left my heart in this wonderful amazing little town.....thank you Sweden ❤

In three words: Fun, atmosphere and tasteful. Easy to get a table if youre early. Bowl a bit before dinner, or why not a minigolf match or a game of shuffleboard or boule?The food is great, not superb but great. The staff are kind, understanding and helpful and theres (almostalways a game of some sort to watch on the multiple number of TVs mounted all over.

I had to wait for a bout one hour and a half to get my meal and it wasnt as I ordered and it is expencieve too

We ordered biff steak meals and after one hour waiting, we got cold steaks and were not well done as we ordered. Then we had to wait for another 15 min. The food was not tastey at all. I dont recommend this place, was bad expereince...

Great food. Daily lunch buffet menu. Huge place now. Bowling, Boule, Mini Golf & more. Excellent for school holidays & rainy days to spend time in the dry. Not been at night, but I think it would be a great place to socialise with friends &:to meet new people.

Attention from staff is so so, be prepared to wait a long time before a waiter arrives to see you placed at a table. Otherwise I guess it is a standard olearys. Will deliver lots of sports and decent food and drinks.

Nice bar. I ordered fish and chips for 2 persons. The first meal was returned as unsuitable to eat. The re-order was almost the same. The fish was frozen cutlets with burnt outer skin and frozen centre. Wouldnt recommend.

I visited here for the first time and enjoyed my meal very much. This is a really nice establishment that made me feel like I was back in Canada. The staff were very freindly and helpful with some questions I had about the area. They didnt mind speaking English at all. I had the Beef Taco dish which was probably the best Ive ever had. It was a light meal and well prepared. Id eat here again in a heartbeat.
