O'Donnells Bar & Restaurant in Tra Li

Very poor service...we waited more than 1 hour for our food to arrive. Would not recomand. Change of staff is very needed!

Nice Irish pub. Pretty big, super helpful staff. Have a pool table and good Irish beers and whiskeys.

Awful experience.Bar man was incredibly rude. I was ignored for 10 minutes at the bar without anybody else around before he acknowledged my existence. He then proceeded to give me by a long way the worst pint Ive ever had the displeasure of having. Pint was overpriced to add insult to injury.Also as an Irish man I can comfortably say the only things Irish about this "Irish" pub are that they have Guinness on tap and stock bacon fries.Other staff seemed much friendlier but its not a place Id recommend.

Good spot , big bar with big TV screens. Staff is ok, drinks are overpriced. Why? Terrace chairs are very uncomfortable, that s a shame as well

Always friendly and honest service, as well as nice drinks (for regular Amsterdam prices). Great atmosphere and pool table as well!! :)

Service is a disaster. We were a group of 10 people. We ordered 8 burgers and only 3 came. Once we asked they told us kitchen was closed and that we didnt order. They didnt accept the mistake and wouldnt offer a solution nor discount.

We ordered 12 burgers and they only brought 4. After 40 minutes we complained and they told us they never took the rest of the order. The kitchen was already closed. Worst experience ever!!

Great location in the heart of the De Pijp. However the cocktails are not good. Small portion of alcohol and overpriced. I would go for a beer instead.

Great drinks, but waited at a table for around 40 minutes and no one came for food orders (after being sat at our spot by a waiter). Fortunately the drinks while waiting were solid.

Irish pub in name only. Showed English sports, no hurling or Gaelic football. Very disappointing. No Heineken.

Centrally located Irish Pub with a special flair. Very tasty burgers with a good selection of beer. Definitely worth a visit.

It is possible to find a seat at the weekends compared to places full of hippies at marie heinekenplein. Draft biers are very standard. Bitterbalen and frites are average. Having heaters under the umbrellas is a plus when you think that you feel chill even at hottest summer nights in this counry. A pop-up location to meet with friends for couple of beers.

Waiters are overworked thus unfriendly. Waited an hour for food just to understand our order was never filled.No true sorry, not even a free drink for waiting that long.

Really nice ambience and tasty drinks. They have a lot of space and a pool tables as well. They play nice music as well.

Great place to watch football matches!

Went there to watch formula 1. Even though they have several screens the speakers weren’t working properly which did ruin the experience since it was quite crowded. They didn’t have all the food on the menu and it was quite overpriced for what you got. However we could watch the race but I’m sure there is more places to do that in the area.

Our experience was very bad. It looked like the waitress had a hangover. We need to wait 15min before we could order (terrace was almost empty). When we requested the bill, she rolled her eyes and we needed to wait another 10min. By the way, The hot chocolat Milk was a cold chocolat milk.

Medium quality pub Im a good location. Food was ok but the girl serving us just didnt want to be there. Also ordered a whiskey that tasted nothing like the whiskey I ordered. No idea what happened there.

Very cosy and nice place, blond beer was pretty good. Have in mind the music is loud and people are very noisy, so if you are looking to have a calm conversation, better come during a weekday when its not full.

Sticky bar, service very kind, guiness as guiness - nothing special. Small pool table if youre bored. Great they have jagermeister though!

I would have given it 0 stars if possible. While having a pint, a waiter spilled a full tray full of drinks on us and walked away without acknowledging what just happened. No one brought us paper, apologized or even cared to assist us, we had to ask for tissues multiple times. I have rarely seen such an horrible service in hospitality. If you want to enjoy a drink go elsewhere.

Its a local bar in the Pijp neighborhood. Friendly staff and bartender. The first place in Amsterdam so far that actually checked our vaccination card!

Owner/manager (?came to shout at me and my friends, for being a group of 9 people. Even though we asked the bartender earlier if our friends could join. He told us that it was fine, as long as we weren’t more than 4 people at a table. So we kindly spread out over 3 tables. Apparently, this was too difficult for them to handle. Just because we were three groups of 3, that happen to know one another, you are refusing us service? So, if there had been another two groups of 3 people in the bar, and I would come in with two friends, you would refuse us as well? Because 9 people are too much to handle for this highly central, touristic and popular (?!bar. No sir, we will not grace you with our presence again. Do not worry. These 9 people will no longer be your problem (/source of income)

Looks great, but it’s the worst I’ve ever tried in my life. It took 20 minutes and 3 waiters to get a beer :( disappointing for a place with 4.1 score

I attended Odonnells this afternoon/evening with a group of freinds. This was my second time here, but the first time leaving a reveiw. the first time I came the service was reasonable, but there was nothing outstanding or memorable about the occasion. This time, the staff was quite nice, and particularly pleasant, when you could get ahold of them. Normally, in this type of bar, each server covers an area, but tonight the staff was everywhere and no where at once. The wait was long for our drink orders to be taken, longer for them to actually be delivered. We ordered snacks and some bar food. For all of the staff running around taking orders(we counted four in the area we were sittingnoone was bringing out food or drinks. In the end, it took about 25 minutes for the drinks to come, with the food coming 35 minutes after that. It wasnt even that busy. 3/4 of the place was empty. The plaza seating was nice, but dont expect much.

Decent place for drinks and standard Irish pub fare. Plenty of seating and a pool table at the back.Foodwise, the burgers are good (perhaps a bit too smalland the chips are fresh. The Shepherds pie, however, could use some work.It seemed to have been microwaved and the taste was garlic-galore. The presentation was so bland it looked like it had come from McDonalds. (Broiling the cheese and adding some fresh garnish could make all the difference.For the price, I expected a lot more. Doubt Ill return or recommend this place to anyone.

Loved the food, people, drinks and so much more. Very reasonably priced compared to everything else in the city. Going back for breakfast!!!!

Fun place to relax and grab a beer with friends. They also have the skinniest fries I’ve gotten in Amsterdam which was funny. The prices were pretty average so that was good, about 3-5 euros per beer.

Really nice place to go for a drink and eat something. 1 large beer costs between 6 - 8 €, one hamburger with fries around 12€. Regular prices for Amsterdam. The waitress is very nice and there’s good music. They serve food until late at night (big bonus).
