O'Briens Sandwich Cafe - Cafe in Sligeach, Ireland
Good
The sandwich here is unreal and staff are so nice.
Was alright, staff are very friendly
Its nice but forget how expensive it is
Very pricey for the quality of food they serve. But where they lack in quality of food and beverages they make up with the lack of manners and plenty of rude attitude. Would recommend OHehirs instead.
Not a good attitude with customers.
Lovely staff and great service
Ordered Mocha and Americano, both with Soy Milk (lactose intolerance reasons). Got our coffees so late, Coz they would rather make drinks for the 4 people who ordered food AFTER me. Didnt mind that much. I followed up on the Americano and Mocha, Coz it was well past 25 minutes since I ordered. Then, I was asked to come close to the counter and see how much soy milk to pour. But I saw the carton of milk and it was oatmilk. And the other lady behind the till whispered something to the lady pouring the milk and I also said "yeah, soy milk for both" and she twisted the carton so the oatmilk would be hidden to my view. And the lady said "yes yes, this is also soy milk". By this point I didnt care, I just wanted to get my coffee and leave. So I was able to get Americano with oatmilk, and LATTE with oatmilk (messed up the order even more). Hated both.
Busy. Well organised. Good quality.
Alison is an absolute lady, always has a lovely smile, always very helpful, makes lovely sandwiches, staff very professional, its always nice and clean we love going in for our lunch and my granddaughter loves the pancakes 😊
Haven been used to going here before lock down I didnt know what to expect but was very happy with the way the place is now & the fact that it was still ok just to walk in without having to have ring in what it was you wanted. 👍❤
Im a celiac myself and there is never any problem getting something that suits me
Lovely food. 5 for lunch. All different lunches.. All very happy
Friendly staff nice food ,good coffee and great tea
Nice place for sandwiches.
Great staff great food great price
Always enjoy good food and fab coffee, staff very friendly and queried with the lovely Michelle about stocking matcha and she got it in for next visit. Luv it
1 slice of ham and cheese in a panini for €6 , awful
Very rude manager or whatever boss she think she is, place is chaotic staff walking around like headless chicken don’t know what to do and on top of that food was uneatable tuna wrap was so salty dry and am pretty sure the tuna was out of date the way it smelled and tasted. OBrians was always pricy but pricy and disgusting nope never again will i go there subway much better
My friend got a Oreo frappeIt was badly made and tasted like water with raw doughWe also found a tiny piece or metal in it which she could have at and died from.We showed it to the employees working at the time and they just emptied the drink out and said it was ice. They never gave my friend a new one after they emptied it.It recommend going to insomnia or O’Haras instead...
OBriens is strategically located at the corner of the biggest and busiest car park in Sligo, next to the Dunnes Store and the Tesco. They serve fresh made hot sandwiches in a restaurant with typical fast food flair. The food is okay, but not more. The prices are a bit hefty for my taste, but in this location they probably could take whatever they want and get away with it.
Very tasty food and friendly service
Got my order wrong. But the food was still good
Nice food a bit pricey. Not given enough time to look at the menu or have it explained. Its clean usually crowded.
Always enjoy my visit there love their food nice lively atmosphere.
Food great, wanted to sit down with my toddler, only issue, theres only one highchair.
First class food absolutely beautiful 😍
Had a lovely bowl of vegetable soup and brown homemade bread warmed me up on such a cold day. Sandwiches looked yummy and other food being served was piping hot and looked delicious. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend obriens sandwich shop.
Nice restaurant, good prices for great value.
Lovely food and staff... A little crampt in seating area
Great coffee, great food and friendly service. Alway managed to find a seat to enjoy but can be very busy
Very nice, busy but not much of a wait
Sandwiches were ok but service very slow and coffees not good (burnt milk and very strong).
Lovely sandwich with sourdough bread and a tasty cup of coffee- made the Christmas shopping bearable
Tasty sandwiches and soup. Best flavoured still water in jar.
Great selection of sandwiches and snacks. Top quality service. Friendly staff and super helpful when I had a cash card problem.
Nice place to get something to eat and drink.
My quesadilla was really tasty. People here are super super nice. If you judge a restaurant by follow the crowd you would be right on this one. It was super crowded I was lucky I got a table. They also serve full Irish breakfast including bacon eggs sausage mushroom relish and toast with a regular tea or coffee for about 8. They advertised as being healthy and wholesome. I would say that is pretty accurate !
The staff well, their amazing and so is their food and drinks, and only cheap prices as well.they have lovely beagles. their my favorite lunch place you should definitely give them a try and their just in the centre of sligo town you wont regret it
Great place for a snack break or just to stop for a coffee. Staff and services great always go there when ever Im Sligo. Good prices and food taste great and fresh coffee is lovely and u get get complimentary biscuit or chocolate.

Very good cafe, friendly, professional staff, food fresh and tasty
Delicious! It was beautiful place!
Awesome service and amazing food. And the background music is pretty sweet too
Nice coffee and good atmosphere. Lost one star for that standard OBriens burning cheese smell! Still recommended. Sandwiches look great.
9Okay i guess . For sligo but quiet
I like this place good selection of gluten free
Expensive coffee and snacks and the toilet door needs a code to enter, not easy to use and despite the barrier to entry, not that clean..
