Set on the Lofoton Sea waterfront, this colorful, modern rorbu is a 2-minute walk from Lofotakvariet aquarium and 12 km from Rørvikstranda beach.Featuring terraces or balconies, the casual, bi-level fishing huts have 2 bedrooms, as well as free Wi-Fi, TVs and en suite bathrooms. They also include kitchenettes and dining tables. Some huts offer sea or garden views. There's a cozy seafood restaurant with a terrace, as well as an attic-style eatery featuring a fireplace and sea views.
Very nice
Amazing place, very good service and super cozy. Totally recommendable..
Nice location with seaview. Excellent breakfast. Very welcoming staff. We will come back for sure if we travel again to Lofoten Islands!
Fantastic hotel - and meals were great too. Lovely staff who really cared. Wifi in rooms was a bit flakey.
Amazing place, amazing food, and amazing people. If you are staying in the area there is no better place to be.
Great food, cosy bar, waffle buffet, lovely location, super guides - what more can you ask for?
One of the best places I have ever stayed in. Impeccable apartments, fantastic service, friendly, service minded helpful staff and the most incredible facilities. We loved having breakfast at the lodge and then returning after a long day of ski touring for some time in the jacuzzi, sauna and for a dip in the arctic ocean. Highly recommend this incredible spot
Everything was great: landscape around the hotel is amazing, cabin was very nice and comfy, and very good breakfast. The staff was also very helpful: I booked for the next week by mistake, and they found a solution for us without issue! Thanks again, I will definitely come back!
Beautiful hotel located in a stunning setting. The hotel accommodations, food and staff were exceptional. Would highly recommend staying here while in Lofoten and looking forward to visiting again!!!
Great fishermen style duplex units that were ideal for us as a couple. The restaurant on premise at the reception building, which has waterfront views, was fantastic. Amazing meal! The menu is limited each evening, so reservations were recommended. We walked in on night one without issue, but it helps the kitchen be more prepared with reservations and any food allergies ahead of time. The breakfast includes your typical spread of Norwegian staples, but some alternating menu items daily, such as various smoked fish and gluten free options (by a guest request perhaps). There are two rows of room units available and we opted for the waterfront views, which were great for spotting northern lights to know when to head out and look towards the stars. There is a nearby museum and gallery as well, but in winter months it was closed during the weekend. Its a short drive to downtown Kabelvåg and about 10 minutes to Svolvær.
Spa is great. The view is unbelievable! And the relaxing room ery cosy. We loved it. We highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay in nyvågar rorbuhotell! This lovely rorbuer hotel has an amazing on site restaurant. All cabins have the same layout which consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. Perfect for family! You get a breakfast basket from the restaurant in the morning, enjoy it in your own cozy cabin and return it afterwards.Self serve laundry available for 40 kr/cycle.Overall very satisfying experience. Will definitely come back in the future.
Beautiful place to stay and relax!🤩👍
Cozy place with scenery, sauna, bicycles and pleasant restaurant and outstanding breakfasts. Staff is very attentive. Would love to return again.
We had a very nice cabin unfortunately only for one night. A bit driven also by the price level which is even for Norways on the higher end.Location is very nice and the service excellent. The restaurant was creating a bit mixed impressions - the starter was excellent - main course okish and dessert was bad due to icecream was more an iceblock to be hammered. It was replaced but on this level I woudl have expected that the chef of the kitches take more care (only ~6 guests so not busy).
If you are planning a trip to Lofoten you MUST treat yourself to dinner at the Nyvågar hotel restaurant. The chef is a genius and the five-course meal is not to be missed.
Visited on a snowy day to use spa and sauna. Lovely staff, amazing facilities and picturesque ocean view. Finished up with hot drinks and waffles to warm up, lovely experience.
Lovely place, kind staff, amazing food, 10/10.
Beautiful, 1st day there and theres aurora already
Nice Location for a few days.
Good cabins but small rooms
Good hotel and good service.
Very cozy Rorbuhotell, spacious room and most of the facilities are working (you could not take it for granted these days). Breakfast is decent and in atmospheric setting restaurant. The view of the fishing huts, of course are the best. But beware a lot of facilities are not open in May, a low season, such as laundry and sauna.
Cozy place. Been her several times for breakfast buffet. Their bread are homemade. Rustic interior. Nice staff. Never been disappointed. Highly recommended 👍
Very tasty cake in the cafe :)
Good place to stay :)
A place sitting just close to heaven.. Angels come as staff in disguise to lookafter you.. And the food is godicious..Trip is an absolute visit to heaven..
Incredibly cozy cabins with room for 4 people. Literally 4 metres from the water and the view was fantastic.
Excellent hotel, very pleasant staff and a fine location next door to the aquarium which is good BTW. Sure, single beds in our unit but it was a very large space and very peaceful.
I tried to book my stay but the place is very popular because is located in amazing place close to the village and few minutes from the coastal area with Museum aquarium and art gallery I visit the place anyways when I was in Lofoten two store building with apartment self katering and cabins of different sizes breakfast included and restaurant on the site free internet very friendly staff providing all the information
Beautiful hotel with warm and helpful staffs
Very very nice. Comfortable, clean and very tranquil.
Clean and convenient. Stayed in cabin #4. Stairs to the bedroom was very steep. If using the kitchen for dinners, space to cook is limited.
Awesome breakfast, incredible beds, and amazing sauna with access to the sea
Very nice hotel with individual cabins. Beautiful views and free parking.
The cottage was on the small side, breakfast was great, scenery around was awesome!
Its been a few years now so cant remember details, but had a very nice stay. Modern standard in a setting true to local tradition.
