Its good place where you can wash hot water from the earth.

You can reach there by moto or car, the perfect spot to go to on a sunny day. And even on a cold day the springs can warm you up really nice. The price is 1k to 2 k per person to visit the springs.

The local people are friendly and hotsprings are good. To those who are intersted please save this for the next trip

Natural Hot Springs, really interesting spot! You can chill in the "artificial pool", get a massage or even get full cover of mud.The staff is super nice and really helpful, perfect English too. You should definitely try (take the swimming suit)

Be prepared for a barrage of unsolicited offers. Hot springs, with the opportunity to transition smoothly into swimming in Lake Kivu, was nice. However, a staff member followed me into the lake and, under a cover of casual conversation, started pestering me with a barrage of unsolicited offers. These ranged from application of traditional medicine, through tribe visits, to directions that I preferred not to understand. This continued to the shore and the only option left to save myself was to leave prematurely.

There are much nicer places on the lake, but if youre into having a hot bath go for it

Hidden gem! 💎 You get to soak yourself in the hot spring and get different types of therapeutic massages including being buried in the beach sand from the lake 🙌🏾 Be cautious, they’ll upsell you the higher massages without you knowing.

Amazing experience

We went with a boat from Tam Tam and it took about 1 hour + to reach to the hot springs. After getting down the boat there is small stall with yellow hut (MoMoand there you have to pay the entrance fee. Foreigners are 2000 RWF and the Locals 1000 RWF. Then you can enter to the hot water spring which covered with wooden fence. NOTE YOU CAN USE OR BRING ANY ALCOHOL IN TO THE SPRING. There is two pond prepared for the used by men and women. The water was too hot and was a good experience. They provided massage arm, shoulders and legs with water and mud. It cost 20 USD above. If you visit in Giseiny dont miss this place. Enjoy 😉

It is very small, the view is lovely.

A great stop on one of the boat tours on Lake Kivu. Their soothing massages are a must-try for real. The RF 1,000 entrance fee is also not that bad to experience the hot springs.

Wonderful Chugi! Friendly people, That always give Youa smile. Hotel Asante has a very nice bar and a lovely bartender. Really worth a visit. Bring own food!

1000 RWF to get in....10.000 for a body scrub.Great business concept, around a home made pool. From a costumer perspective I had a few learnings. The water is not flowing, the very smell of #Solfatara is tough, and I had a feeling of a concentration of bacteria. 10 min in the pool is enough. If you need to just enjoy the pool shortly without anyone of a million types of massage - prepare yourself to say "NO Thanx" and explain yourself plenty times.... enjoy it!

This is a very relaxing natural environment. Massage costs about 10000 Rwanda franc. The guys are good and fun with the massage, learnt the hot spring is from a volcano in Congo and thats amazing

Amazing View...had thr coolest hot spring massage

It was ok, the area is beautiful, but the actual springs are not something Id head back too. The water was very mucky and although hot, not enough to kill bacteria that could accumulate. This is a concern because the water isnt flowing, its a man made pool so its almost stagnant.

A nice place to relax and rather cheap. The massage is good but sometime the people working there is sloppy....

Rather disappointing as a tourist destination, in the middle of an informal settlement with a bad gravel road going there, lots of people trying to make money by giving massages, no reception centre or walkways or built baths (the place could be made amazing with little effort). The natural source is still impressively hot and relaxing but dirty. Paid like 1000 franc for "entrance" at a small informal stall.

Some development required. Hot water looks filthy. Sitting and dipping arrangement is not well managed. Touts everywhere.. trying to forcefully massage you even if one is not interested. If these things stop and some development is done, I am sure this place will attract hundreds of tourists from around the world.

They said the hot spring cure so many disease, its real amazing how the water comes from their fountain when they boiling, its just crazy

Excellent place to relax! The hot springs and the lake waters temperatures are perfectly balanced, everything is clean and safe, the staff is nice and respectful, theres place to change, the massage is not medical grade but very enjoyable. Do it!

Fun experience, if youre not expecting too much.

I was initially very skeptical about it but it turned out really great. I got a hot mud foot massage from mphomo. They were quite cheerful. I would not recommend going into the barricaded pool, it does not appear to be in good sanitary condition.

I rate this so highly for the experience! Its such a beauty to behold - hot water from the ground. And the massage was heavenly - arm and foot massage. Inside tip: there is a great woman who gives the best massage (she cannot speak but shes excellent). The mineral in the spring work wonders for the body! It should not cost more than $5 per person. The locals come there a lot as well because of how good it is for the body. It was really amazing!
