Got bit by so many misquotes. Food was okay, we were dying of heat. I like the idea behind the setup of the restaurant.

We enjoy this park for hiking, pick nicking and the play ground. The park is never very busy and they have carts to use to haul things to the park area. Nice mix of trails that are through the woods and prairie. You do have to watch carefully when hiking since the trails arent marked great. We enjoy the park area for the view of the water and Madison. Also like all the shade and breeze, perfect for relaxing or a picnic..

Graze was by far one of the absolute best recommendations I received while visiting Madison from Ohio. The waitress was extremely helpful and told me various menu items to try and what she liked, what was popular, and chef favorites. Explained the food and drink menu and made everything seamless.

Really wanted to try this place, saw it was open, walked inside, the lights were all off and no one was there. I wish google maps was updated so I knew it would be closed today. :/

Located on Regent, we didnt have any trouble finding parking. We were greeted by friendly Kandra, who was making some jewelry while one other duo ate. She chatted with us, sat us down with waters, and oriented us to the menu. This place should be filed under Hidden Gems. Came here on a Saturday night around 7 with a girlfriend after stumbling upon it on Yelp, and it was all kinds of delightful.

They were out of Izze pops and two starters already. We got two malawachs to split - one chicken, apple, and blue cheese (Brie was subbed bc they ran out of blueand one Brie, smoked dates/almonds, and peppers and O...M...G. We pretty much ate in silence because they were that delicious. A flavor explosion of deliciousness.

Wow and double wow on the owners response. My wife and i dont get out much as we have 2 littles at home. We cherish our "date nights" and we were so looking forward to trying this little gem, but frankly based on your response i cannot, will not support you. Honestly, Im still scratching my head wondering what the hell you were thinking... and surprised you havent followed up with a heartfelt apology and and a plea of momentary stupidity. Brace yourself is all i can say.

I have to say, our experience was not as great as expected after seeing so many good reviews. We were greeted by a friendly host who proceeded to tell us that everything was out of stock or not available. My partner jokingly said it’s how he would operate a restaurant if he was “playing restaurant” as a kid. Mediocre food. Seemed not clean and smelled musty. We had sandwiches that were sub par and a salad that felt like it was out of a bag. Super disappointing, because I loved the exterior artsy facade of the restaurant and it’s in my neighborhood, I wanted to be supportive.Your response is disappointing. A business owner should not get personal and attack or FB stalk the customer. I was relating an honest reaction to a disappointing restaurant experience. Reviews are something I dont normally do, and I had high expectations from online reviews. I have a lot of friends in the restaurant business and know that its not easy to launch a local business. The fact that you were closed for a few days because you couldnt find staff to work there, is also a red flag. If youre concerned about customer experience, youre there 24/7 and pay attention to every detail. Your response to me as a seasoned restaurant owner should have started with, "Im sorry about your experience...please come back and well show you what we feel you missed."REVIEWERS BEWARE: Be prepared to be harassed on social media and FB stalked by the owner if you choose to leave a less than 5 star review.

I was going to go to your restaurant, I very much like to support local eateries. However, after reading your review and read your early morning FB page boasting of how you schooled a client that gave you a 1star review, I can’t in good conscious want to spend time or money in your establishment. Sad response to her review. You came out negatively by responding so snarky, I was shocked.I think you thought you were going to get a pat on the back for being a callous owner. Not once did you apologize and offer to look into the incident. You clearly would set a tone for the entire atmosphere, and you sound as though you’re an elitist that doesn’t like any kind of real feedback. Too bad. That’s how one learns and grows, something maybe you haven’t learned as of yet.

NuuNoosh is the new location of old Madison brunch favorite Noosh (of root-vegetable latke fame). The menu is more basic than at the original location, offering a rotation of flat bread/meat entrees, shakshuka (a spicy tomato stew with poached eggs), and pelmeni of various stripes featuring thus far. There may or may not be dessert options, depending on what was prepared for the day. As with all of Laylas restaurants, staff is friendly, talkative and warm. Because the menu is limited, they can end up running out of some dishes... I always take this as an opportunity to order something new. There is a small selection of wines by the glass and beer by the bottle. The place is cash only for the time being, and housed in a vintage sheet steel Quonset hut which used to be a machine shop! There are only five tables, but with the type of food served, they tend to turn quickly. The decor is eclectic, but the place bears Laylas stamp. I couldnt be more excited to have her take on Sephardic cuisine back on the market.

Charm galore! Quaint space with limited seating, but I dare you to find somewhere else in town so bursting with character. Dumplings and malawach featured on the menu, excellently prepared with fresh ingredients. Service was friendly and excellent. They have a play table for kids, and delightful music rolling on an old turntable. Definitely worth the visit. Cash only

My husband and I met for lunch at another restaurant just down the road a bit, but parked in front of this place without any signage other than, “EAT” and “Come on in”, so we did. Warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a sweet little turntable and decent records to play while you sip tea and wait for the delicious pierogies, and savory Jewish pancakes. We’ll be back for more!

My husband and I stopped in after some New Orleans Take Out because I couldn’t resist poking my head in. We got one entree to share since we were a little full, and some cardamom tea. The menu was brunch style Jewish and Mediterranean food. This is a very new restaurant with unposted hours so if you plan to come out here to eat I would call first! The Food: we tried a cod-based cheesy quesadilla. It sounds suspect, I know, but the taste was incredible. The cod was light and fishy, and the cheese and herbs were creamy. It was rich and decadent and so paired well with the cold sour cream and herby, spicy chutney (reminded me of chimichurri). I felt that the flavors and salt level were balanced. It would definitely fill me up as an individual entree. I hope it stays around! I spied some other great things on the menu I wished I had the stomach room for: pierogis (never disappointing), Syrian cherry meatballs (kefta), and various other items. As they are new, expect the offerings to change. But dang I hope they keep the pierogis and kefta. I’m too lazy to make my own so I need a reliable dealer. The cardamom tea was not too intense, perfect for the cardamom casual. Only $2 a cup.The Atmosphere: The restaurant is in a Quonset hut, which is a thing I didn’t know about until my husband told me. It’s like a hobbit house made of metal, and the inside is cozy to match, with sparse, chic decorations and vibrant colors. It’s warm and insulated, so don’t be concerned about the cold seeping in. Seating is limited. There was an accordion player when we were there, which was fun. Can’t guarantee he’ll be there when you go!The Service: The owner was friendly and accommodating! Food was ready fast, such is the magic of brunch.Overall: I am definitely coming back! I hope hours are posted soon, even if it’s only a couple days a week for now. You should definitely pay this place a visit.
