Very good lunch selection, prices were fantastic and so was our waiter, he was the best!

Great venue, is a perfect location for a small event or wedding. The food was good. It does have limited seating if you plan to have a wedding ceremony at this venue. All in all its a nice place.

We had a large party of 16 for brunch. The service was outstanding! Junior our server was so nice, amazing service and checked on us frequently. The food was tasty. We had Mac and cheese, stuffed shells, rice with stew meat, stuffed sole, cocktail shrimp, multiple salads, eggs benedict...something for everyone. They ran out of chocolate cake and the lady went to the kitchen to get me more...so sweet. Its was nicely decorated. The outside location is in a more industrial area but its like a hidden gem inside. Great value. Many baby showers etc taking place.Would definitely come back again!

Last Friday we had a party of 10. The food was amazing for all of us and our server Joanne was fabulous . We hadnt been there in a few years and will definitely return soon. I cant wait. Yum

Sunday brunch was very good. They did have staffing issues however. The gentleman handling the carving and omelet station was also tasked with a full set of tables in the dining room. Despite being low volume at the station, was still often a wait of a few minutes to be served. Ended up not being able to try the meats as a result.Edit: Thank you to the management for responding to my concern and promising to address it. Have bumped my review up to 5 stars to reflect my satisfaction with this.

Brunch was great! Lots of options. Parking was tough, had to wait a bit for someone to leave. Place was packed at noon on a Sunday. Recommend making a reservation.

1st time for dinner and it exceeded our expectations! Junior was a pleasure to have as a server and the food was delicious. Calamari, wedge salad, Land and Sea special. Dessert was amazing also! If we are in the area again we would definitely choose to eat here!

Party of 18. Meal was prompt, hot, excellent service, plentiful portion, and super tasty. The staff here are long term professionals and very attentive. Menu is spot on. Great place for a quiet romantic dinner, a private party, or a wedding reception. Cheers !!!

I attended a banquet here recently. The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The food was good. And for a small bar, it held pretty well. I did not get to see the entire place, but the area I was in to the left of the entrace was perfect for smaller parties and very intimate.

Absolutely incredible experience for my Bridal shower. They were so helpful and the food was incredible. Will definitely be back!

Have visited this place multiple times for a variety of events. The staff is friendly and efficient. Food is delicious and they offer a good selection. Sunday brunch is very good with a great variety of food. The facility is great for events with separate areas for both large and small gatherings separated from the main dining area. Have never been disappointed here and again the staff does everything to make sure you enjoy your time here.

We had my daughters baby shower here we had 65 people and it was beautiful the brunch was elegant hi quality and the service was profound. Our providers name was Brian and he attended every detail.

Great place and friendly service. The food was good but could have been alittle hotter but I like my food steaming hot and my husband was fine with the temperature. Large portions and from scatch.

It was beautiful, so much bigger on the inside than by the look of the outside... really good food, and wonderful workers... kinda pricey, but the food I believe is worth it!

A wonderful dining experience for my wife and I on a date night. No distractions (such as TVsand tables were arranged nicely. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Pumpkin bisque was incredible.

We arranged a large family dinner at the Nutmeg and it did not disappoint. The staff was amazing, the food was plentiful and delicious. Wine selection small but adequate for the occasion. It was a great evening, thank you Nutmeg!

We truly appreciated our breakfast buffet. I went for seconds on the stuffed sole, shrimp and the chicken piccata was delicious. It appeared as if Barbara was upset with Brian for taking our table. She scolded him for doing so. Not professional as we overheard their conversation. Well, Brian was the best waiter we have ever had. Very attentive. He went and got plates of food for my elderly mother! Sorry Barbara everything happens for a reason! We truly enjoyed Brian. We will be visiting Brians tables again at the Nutmeg.

I came here for a bridal shower during their Sunday brunch and thought the inside was beautiful and well laid out for the party. They had mimosas, champagne and bloody marys for beverages as well as their standard brunch food. The bloody Marys in the pitchers were warm unfortunately but the champagne was nice and cold. The food was in all really good and the person at the omelette bar even gave me egg whites. The staff was all personal and friendly as well as attentive. Id recommend a stop in!

Spectacular job by The Nutmeg Restaurant and Banquet Hall. In June we held our wedding ceremony and reception all in that one beautiful place. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and catered to our every need. The gazebo courtyard and the banquet room were beautifully decorated for our special day. Our guests raved about the delicious appetizers and the wonderful buffet meal we had. Over a month later we are still hearing (from our friends and family that attendedhow good the food and service was by the staff at the Nutmeg.Thank you Paulino and staff !

This is a favorite restaurant of my husband and I. Its classy with a relaxing atmosphere. The food is great. The waiters/waitresses are the best. They are there when you need them and know when you want to be alone to enjoy your meal. We highly recommend the Nutmeg restaurant for anyone who is looking for a romantic night out with your special someone. You wont be disappointed!

Went to the Nutmeg for the very first time today for Brunch. I have to be honest and say im going to make this place my goto sunday brunch place. The food was quick and delicious. The service was top notched. I really liked the decor of the place. White linen tablecloths with settings that were very professional looking. If your in the East Windsor Area and looking for a great Sunday Brunch Place, then definately stop at The Nutmeg. You will not be disappointed!

Great team. Great food.We got here on valentines day not knowing that it was brunch only at that time and dinner wouldnt start until 4pm, they were very kind and accommodated us.Rolls are to die for. Salmon with pesto is also amazing! Must go please

Great food and service! We just went to The Nutmeg for Valentines Day, one of the first times out since the pandemic. The manager made it a point to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. The food was amazing, I devoured my NY sirloin, but my fiancé took a picture of her entrée.

I absolutely love this place. I have frequented Nutmeg for more than 15 years and I am never disappointed. First of all, their food is delicious! They serve a variety of dishes to suit everyone. Ill add some pics the next time I go for dinner. The staff is also very friendly. Secondly, its such a charming venue for any event and they have different rooms to accommodate party size. I have had at least 5 events here, including a small wedding for my nephew, and always receive compliments from guests about the food and the choice of venue.

The Choppino was extremely delicious. There was enough food, seafood and pasta left over for a couple of different meals. The chicken marsala was perfect with fresh brown mushrooms. Every fish dish was excellent and Paulino and his wife were excellent hostesses. The Nutmeg is a hidden gem and should be tried if youre looking for a different place to dine.

The Nutmeg is like a hidden gem. The lobster bisque was absolutely exquisite and full of the right amount of lobster. The Choppino in the traditional red sauce was unbelievable in portion and taste. I would dare to say the best Choppino Ive had in a very long time. Paulino, our waiter, bartender, possibly the chef, and the dishwasher and his wife Jennifer were absolutely delightful. What a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Nutmeg is amazing all the time, I would have thought Paulino went out of his way to make my birthday dinner special.But thats just how the Nutmeg rolls.Dont miss out!! Get yourself in there and dine!!

Great food. Reasonable prices relative to the high quality. Great for special occasions. Just had the scallops lunch, $18 for quality shellfish is fairly standard. Quoted $44 a head for full food service and hosting, everything included for larger events. Owner is a nice guy and actually waited on our table. Highly recommend for small weddings or business meetings.

My friends and I went here for dinner because my friend recalled that it was a good place to eat. He has now changed his mind. He now thinks the food is awful and devoid of flavor and honestly, I have to agree. Both my friends had burgers and they were shockingly disappointed in its all around lack of flavor. I on the other hand had the most expensive steal at $37 and the steak tasted as if someone ripped it out of the animal then threw it in a pan. Where is the flavor? If I wanted to eat a flavorless hunk of meat I would have bought some flavorless jerky, unsalted. Although, I will say the presentation was good. Im honestly shocked... If I can make a better steak than you and Im not a chef. Why are you a chef... Owner seems like a nice guy.

We went for a company Sunday Brunch. Its been 20 years since my last visit and 30 years since my brunch there. Very wide selection of dishes ranging from eggs Benedict, French toast, chicken, fish, and some awesome salad choices. The carving station was good, the lamb was over-done for my liking. Dessert were excellent. I had the carrot cake. Everyone seemed pleased. Staff was attentive and friendly. I see why this is listed as a Top 10 Sunday Brunch.

The place is lovely, intimate and the staff is great but the quality of the food horrible! It tasted like food that were frozen and canned, no was fresh except the green salad and roasted potatoes. The vegetable lasagna overcooked noodles and probably frozen vegetables. The beef was very good it was tender and quite tasty I loved that.

I dined at The Nutmeg Restaurant today with a party of eight including myself. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. I personally had the chicken parmesan with pasta. A very large portion of perfectly cooked chicken covered with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese served over a large portion of rigatoni. It was a very large, delicious meal, but I ate it all. Plus three warm fresh baked rolls with butter. I topped it off with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce and whip cream. I forget our waitress name, but she did an excellent job. We went during the lunch time specials, so the prices were fantastic for the quality and amount of food, as well as the service provided. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Absolutely Fantastic Mothers Day Brunch!!Great customer service, wonderful food, including pasta dishes, sausage and peppers, fish, chicken and more, several styles of fresh salads, a carving station with ham, pork, lamb and roast beef, plenty of desserts and we never felt rushed.Also, we just learned today that they have brunch there Every Sunday!You owe it to yourself to try this restaurant; youll leave delighted and fully satisfied!!

We had a reception here after funeral services. The staff was very nice and efficient. The dining room was set up for a buffet and the seating was in an adjacent room. Very convenient for mingling. They had a very nice buffet with carving station. Food was well delivered, tasty and fresh salad was fresh. Self parking was sufficient for our group of about 60. Noticed many rooms of various sizes. Not sure if there are regular restaurant hours.

Beautiful building with lovely holiday decor and vintage appeal. Unfortunately the food was average at best. Most of the Sunday buffet was lacking in flavor and either greasy or dried out. Its a shame as with better kitchen staff this place could really impress.

Great lunch find in East Windsor. I had assumed they were only about banquets. They have a great lunch menu. The pork lunch special was easily enough for two meals and it was only $12. The well seasoned EVOO and warm bread was an awesome bonus. The Host and Waiter were very friendly and professional. The kitchen was fast and the products were very good.
