9 Ahmed Ibn Al Abtal, El-Tahrir City, Aswan, Cairo Governorate, Egypt, Aswan
In a bustling area near government offices, this modest hotel is a 2-minute walk from both Aswan train station and a corniche on the Nile River, and 3 km from history exhibits at the Nubian Museum.Down-to-earth rooms offer satellite TV and minibars; some add balconies. Wi-Fi is available for a surcharge.A casual restaurant offers regular live entertainment. Other amenities include a rooftop terrace/garden, plus an outdoor pool.
The room was bot clean there is no service the breakfast is nothing
The room we stayed in was not well-illuminated. Very dim lights, otherwise a simple, standard room thats fair for its price. Critiques: Beds had spines protruding out that werent easy on your back and spine; shower curtain was not designed properly, went up to your waist, water gushed out the bottom onto the floor, parking is NOT included, good luck finding one on the adjacent streets. However, service was good, location was perfect (few minutes away via walk from the train station and city center). This was a decent accommodation and a place to rest for nearby temples Philae and Abu Simbel.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I was given a room here for 1night by my tour planner and I hated it.
The hotel is clean. The room is really big and good space. The price is little high for its category. The location is perfect and you are close to market, cafes, train station and Nile decks. The staff there is kind.Breakfast 🥞 is horrible
500 LE for the worst hotel we had in Egypt, it is clearly overpriced. I doubt locals would have paid this price. Noisy, terrible bed and sheets, the bathroom was disgusting, the roof terrace is a real dump. 2 stars because the staff was nice. You can find cheaper around the train station
The place was nice but has old furniture
Very friendly owner. He speaks self-taught English and German. a big plus is the very young staff at reception. We felt we were in very good hands. The pool was unfortunately waterless, but gladly again at any time :-).Mona &Leif, Berlin, Germany
Nice people, modest rooms
Nice hotel 3 stars
Cheap, very close to the market and train station. Nice if traveling on a budget
Not so clean shower broken
Toilet was broken, didn’t flush (the only negative)Safe, comfortable, friendly staffArrived in Aswan at 11pm, went for hookah and still able to check in after midnight
Good price
Really needs cleaned
Nice place, Good service.
it is Avery bad hotelrooms are very bad in lights ; furniture , bathroomI do not recommend it at all you can stay in tiba hotel with the same rate for night
Good
Very reasonable priced...good place to stay if your budget is quite tight.....clean rooms
Ok
Its awesome at night... We must travel through Nile river and with cool breeze
Good
Theres no towel and blow dryer in my room, have to wait till my hair dry. Sucks
This hotel is not worth the money, on arrival we were taken to one room which was had dirty beds. Then to another that had mould growing from the airport conditioner, the third room was cleaner however the shower fell apart and the staff did nothing, power points did not work, air conditioner did not change temperature. Towels are not included, and Wi-Fi is not free and doesnt work after you pay for access. It is in easy walking distance to train station, Nile River, some convenience shops, restaurants and ATM.
Cant recommend it for anyone
Nice hotel near from the Nile bank , clean rooms, Good for economy stay .. but his people are very wonderful and helpful .. thanks a lot guys
Got bedbugs from here. Do your best to avoid this place.
Good place and cheap
The staff is too kind and helpful, but the hotel itself is far below average. The rooms have broken furniture, less light and unclean floor. The beds are somehow fine, toilets too. You have to pay some little money per day to get an internet access. You can keep your bags for some hours after you check out.
Cheap
Very basic is not a problem but very broken is a problem.... the reception staff is very helpful!
Good
You feel like home
Moderate hotel I think its a 3 star better than other hotels at the same level for the holidays and family the most important need to take a look the room before taking it and check for everything, in the center of the city and close to the station ,clean, old furniture , light at rooms are very weak, no towels in the rooms but there is soap and wipes , WiFi service not free and not working at room only at front desk and weak better not to use it breakfast included could be better quality ,shower was broken lacking water ,hot water available and staff was friendly and helpful. At the end not a bad place to stay for few days for low budget
I would like to visit the place in the near future
Its not that good, its need more service
No working lock... Dirty and unsafe... Would not stay again.
Good if you want a low budget place to sleep instead of camping in street or something.. thats all.
Good for a short stay, work or so, safe enough, no luxuries
This hotel is suitable only to spend the night...only if there are no alternatives. The positive moments - hot water and beds for sleep
Rooms are okish for the price...not fancy but will do if just sleeping is the only preference for booking a room and the rest of the time is being spent visiting local places
The sheets were clean, and thats the best I can say. The walls were dirty, the shower curtain broke and another rooms door handle fell off.
Services are so bad, rooms are very small and food is not good
Noisy place. Bad service. Not very clean.
Poor service, rude staff and questionable quality.
Good , clean , cheap , centralized , free breakfast , good service
I paid for the wifi, asked if it worked in the room, was told it would, went out, came back went upstairs wifi doesnt work, came down stairs and was told wifi doesnt work. Room is decent, and clean, but the air conditioner is louder than a diesel engine.
Excellent value for money. Clean rooms, not too small. Friendly and relaxed staff. Nice view from roof terrace. The hotel is well booked by arabian travellers. Noise from inside may occure. The breakfast is really bare, but there are many places for heaving breakfast nearby.
They promised free WiFi, but it wasnt working, and after they fixed it it suddenly became "pay 30 pounds to get wifi for a day". Rooms are very old and worn but clean. Staff barely knows a word of English. Breakfast is included but is very very plain (porridge or beans, boiled eggs, some cheese and bread). Some rooms didnt have any towels and some rooms only had hand towels and no extra blankets were provided in the winter months. The best thing about this hotel is a great location and theres a great crepe and waffle place just across the street - definitely check that place out.
Good
The quality is good
