Nowlan Park - Stadium in Cill Chainnigh, Ireland
Nice when youre winning 😁
Great place to relax great match today
Very good
Three games for ten euros 💶 good value, great games , pity that Piltown lost , beautiful day weather wise .
Great schools final on a splendid pitch!
This is where the Cats make wonders playing Hurling
Decent stadium.Food and coffee served
Best hurling pitch to watch a match at . Up the cats 🐈
Parked in OLoughlan Gaels pitch for the minor all Ireland final. Took 1 hour 45min to leave as the stewwards let people skip the queue when leaving the field. Inept and badly organised also they were very abusive when I confronted them about it. Hopefully Limerick beat Kilkenny in the final.
Great gaa pitch
Excellent inside need to open more turnstiles
Stadium was great Referee was brutal.
As usual gaa ref was brutal and couldnt keep up with the game shouldnt be allowed ref again
Great Intermediate Camogie game and guard of honour was very nice for senior camogie players.
Its no Wexford park, but the way Wexford hurled Kilkenny out of it you couldnt be sure
Great atmosphere and a very exciting and interesting sport...
A very enjoyable hurling ground, everyone should visit it
Top ground for sport and gigs right in the middle of KK City
Delicious food each time freshly prepared
Still one of the best grounds in Ireland to visit. Match day staff friendly and helpful
There for the wexford match. Plenty of services nd the stands were really clean
Best ground outside Croke Park. Poor food and beverage facilities in main stand. Very expensive and of a very poor quality.
So good come on kilkenny we are on the way back dont hold back any more drive on now 😾😾😾😾😾😾😾😾
All good very easy to get to and leave and one of the best pitches in the country. Always very enjoyable trip
Always enjoy seeing the cats play at home! … even if I do live in Meath and it’s a 90 min drive
Sure what else can you say: its the home of hurling! And having the chance to see TJ work his magic is an extra treat!
great venue, great atmosphere in this stadium when its a full house, on a warm summers evening and championship in full flow its a spectulicar place to be.
A great experience going there and well received by all , just an excellent venue and the staff couldnt do enough to help
Great views from all angles well sheltered from the elements.also plenty of parking on the Hebron road opposite the hurling pitch.
Nice ground with plenty of parking around it...
Great GAA ground. Great views. Nice atmosphere.
A pitch every county should have. Its like a snooker table. Ok the facilities are back in the 60s but its a small price to pay to see Kilkenny v anyone 👍
Good venue for a concert easy access close to the centre of Kilkenny witth plenty of parking lots of places to stay great selection of bars and restaurants
Great organisation. Great food and drink stands. Everything worked like clockwork no delays and its perfect for concerts. Staff were excellent very efficient.
Very very badly organised for Bob Dylan and Neil Young gig. Zero security check on the way in. Apparently there was a crush in the toilet area. They ran out of water, cider and Guinness. Yes, Guinness!!!! Can you believe it.It was only the Guinness that bothered me. I was delighted I brought my own few drinks in.
The Concert was brilliant but the organisers seemingly forgot about the peoples safety. They never announced where the emergency exits or the toilets were. If you needed to go to the toilet you had to try n get trew the crowd n then try n get back to where you were if you were lucky enough. They just seemed more interested in getting the more people they could which was more money for them instead of putting in passageways to make it easier to get around.
Went to a concert here, the sound was great. Really atmospheric arena. Not massive, but a decent size for concerts or more importantly the GAA.
Fantastic concert!!! Neil young was great & Bob Dylan was magick😁😁😎
Good concert - shame about the venue. Was a safety certificate issued?Very poor toilet facilities creating massive queues.Overcrowded areas.Bar out out of water before 6pmPoor marshalling on entry to groundExiting Yellow car park chaotic. Whoever ran the car park made a packet and didnt provide enough staff to facilitate safe exit.Good luck with future concerts.
Great Bob Dylan and Neil Young concert, older crowd at the venue but the safety issues are huge. Queues for bathrooms( both genderswere over 100 people over 45 minutes , yet bathroom around the corner were locked. Beer for sale everywhere but bar was out of water by 7pm. Had to queue at one of the 3 ( onlyfood trucks for water and soft drinks. We walked back to the area we came in when we were leaving only to be told " Ya, I know the sign says exit but we had to lock it !!WHY???Back down to the far end of the stadium ( not easy through crowds and the pathway by the seats is extremely narrowthat we had made our way from originally to get to an exit. Much longer walk to car now and my husband has issues with his knee so walking is not easy. Then as we are walking to the car, I see bathrooms inside a huge open gate , no queue, I walked in only to be told no re admission, I told the girl I only wanted to use the bathroom, NO YOU CANT. At that stage I was so frustrated I actually cried.LOCKED BATHROOM FACILITIESNO NON ALCOHOLIC DRINKSLOCKED EXITSWITH VERY LARGE CROWDS, THIS IS A HUGE ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. THIS VENUE WAS NOT SAFE .
Neil Young and Bob Dylan was amazing! Pity about the venue tho.Worst venue for a Concert. Toilet queues were a joke. Not enough staff to Police it. Very Poor! Would not return for a Concert.
Concert was great with great lineup. Crazy lack of fresh water, beer available everywhere but marathon to get a bottle of water. Toilets totally inadequate for concert of long duration with queues taking an hour.
Was there for Neil Young/Bob Dylan absolutely brilliant concert but the venue was lacking.. Never pointed out fire exits or any safety issues or location of toilets... Peoples safety was secondary to getting money
Concert was great but missed half of it due to the queue for the ladies!!! They had toilets closed that could have been open. Dont think i would ever go back there for a concert ☹
The stadium is okay, the seats are alright, they lack of back support, but they are very comfy. Having a roof over your head is okay, although that means that a column will stand in your way for some areas of the pitch. The bathrooms are disgusting, even for a stadium. Coffee and the hot chocolate are undrinkable. In a nutshel... Stay on your seat and youll have a great experience.
Best place Ive ever been at and the stands are top quality absolutely class hurlers. I loves me county.
I love this Stadium
Sure isnt it the spiritual home of hurling, great atmosphere, knowledgeable fans and always attracts plenty of opposition fans. Its a little dated in places, but that can be said for many of the county grounds around the country. The pillars are my biggest peeve completely block your view at times so best to get there early so you can position yourself to avoid the hassle. Having said all this, its still one of the easiest grounds to attend with the road network and definitely worth the trip.
Still no tarmac on the concourse inside the main gates and the womens toilets are scarce and rough. None of it matters when your team wins, but some regard for fans would be nice.
Here for the league final between tipp and kilkenny. Good stadium, only problem is the arrogance and ignorance of some kilkenny fans ha
