Amazing location and super services

Kids friendly hotel with amenities like garden, Xbox, ping pong, free bike to roam around city all are good addition for vacation in beautiful Gdansk. Hotel is very well located and breakfast is very good

Well,I need to split the review in 2,accordingly to the floors.Things on the first floor incuding breakfast,games,access to the city were pretty good.Nevertheless sometimes there are simply no avaialable tables for breakfast,even though the personal works continuously.Also the fabric chairs are dirty,so definitely need other type.Havent used the restaurant by evening,since there are so many options just around the corner,but for the ones who dont want to go out in the city-there is option for meals.So I would say 4/5 for the first floor.The big drawback was the room itself.Maybe there are rooms in better conditions,but the one we got was with run down furniture,dirty walls/curtains/carpet,bath with mold in the shower and toilet with so bad pressure that sometimes it required 3-4 flushes.This room was not a cheap option,so definitely not worth the money.Was much away,but still not so pleasant to take a shower in all the misery.Towels and bed clothing have also seen better days.There was available air condition in the room,but of old type that brought insects in the room,so decided to give up and open the window.If not for the good location and some activities for kids (between 1-7/8 yo maximumthen I would definitely regret choosing it.Hopefully it is just a post Covid situation and that the administration will renew the rooms that are in such a deplorable situation as soon as possible.1/5 for the room..

Nice hotel at Great location

A very outdated hotel, looks more like an old dormitory.

I stayed for 4 nights with my partner on a holiday,the hotel was good the staff friendly,the room was clean and tidy,its close to the city centre and all amenities it has a great view..would book here again when I come back to visit again

It was a good P/P hotel but heater didnt work and room was freezing. Coldest hotel I ever stayed in.

Good breakfast and nice location for an affordable price

The hotel had an amazing location, great food at breakfast and they provided most necessary things. However their ability to accommodate a family was pretty poor; I assumed it would be easy to set up a room for 4, however there was only a double bed, and a single sized sofa bed. They didn’t even try to cover up the fact that it was a single bed, and they provided a duvet that barley covered one person. Worst night of sleep ever.

Very decent hotel which I stayed at several times this month. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean and a quiet environment. Centrally located in Gdańsk theres plenty of choice at breakfast and there are spacious public areas. Would recommend and would stay again in the future.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, cheap prices, nice location, clean and tidy

The Novotel Gdansk is really centrally located at the historical old town. All tourist attractions of Gdansk are just a short walk from the hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of hot and cold tasty dishes (fried egg, sausages, cheese, Muesli, Croissants, bread, mackarell, fish, pate, salad, fruit, sweet cake pieces, and much much more). When I would come to Gdanks again, I will very likely choose the Novotel again, as I have been very satisfied with my stay. I have stayed in different Accor Hotels in different countries and cities: The Novotel Gdansk good place, which I like a lot.

In General hotel met expectation. Good price for value option.Great location but hotel services is....very weak.NEVER EVER was not able to contact reception through the phone . Before we were arrived , I was calling 27 (TWENTY SEVENtimes (in different days, and time during the daya NO ONE picked up the phone. Gentleman on a reception explained it - "high season, sorry for that."Seriously? High season therefore you are ignoring phone contacts from your customers inside and outside of hotel calls?

This hotel is located right at the city centre next to the old town. The rooms are quite big and feature the Novotel standards. The breakfast is a averagely though and coffee machines could be cleaner. However, all in all its a great hotel for business and tourist trips.

Very bad service and communicate between hotel and agency, while I booked room, I searched for 2 adults and 2 kids, put special comments, everything is okay. but when I came to hotel, receipt told me no room for 4 people, have to charge additional one, its really upset. Why nobody imformed or comfirmed in advance. Worse management and service frankly speaking.

Dated interiors, poor sound isolation, dripping water in the toilet. The hotel claims it cares about the environment, I do not believe that no one spotted that. Nothing to recommend over there.

Very nice. Clean and modern. AVOID the rooms on the left hand side of the hallway. They all face a huge construction sight that start banging away at around 7am.

Not a worst hotel but be carefully for the exchange rates they provide on the payments without customer knowledge. They charge much more if the payments are provided with a different than local currency. They have own currency conversion rates plus additional currency conversion fee. They should ask customers to pay additional fees before charge but they dont.

Professionnal and gentle staff (especially at the reception desk, very good location, Accord Group Standards and attrative price! Really good! :)

I highly recommend this hotel to any one that is coming to Danzig for business or pleasure . The staffs are so attentive , swiff in respond , polite needless to say the service is excellent during my two nite stay. The rooms are very clean, even though it was construction araond the hotel it was quite.On our way to the hotel it was hard to find and the woman at the desk was so helpful ,she was with us all the way until we arrive to the hotel.

Excellent hotel with excellent service. We got a room ahead of time. Spacious rooms. There are plenty of activities for children. Fine food.

High standard, close to Gdansk Old Town centrum, nice rooms with aircondition. Also good bar, resturant and top service all over. A large out-area "park" makes it a perfekt place when you travel with kids.

Great hotel, we were upgraded to Japanese room with cool accents and Japanese tea set. Very good memories from this trip.

This Novotel Gdansk Centrum is ideally located close to the historic downtown. Everything can be reached easily by foot. It seemed as this hotel is an elderly hotel and some parts seemed to be renovated in the last few years. I didn‘t like the the tiny shower cabinet in the two-part bathroom (the WC is located in a separate room). The blanket on the bed was too warm and too thick for a stay during summertime! The room was not soundproof, wifi speed was good. I payed 330 PLN for a night and I would stay there again for the same price or less.

Just used the conference rooms and the Restaurant. For Meetings the premises are very good, big rooms with lot of light. For the breakouts there is a very big garden and the coffee service is good. The restaurant has very good food. We had the self service buffet because we were a big group and it was surprisingly tasty.

Absolutely fabulous service and location. Rooms comfortable and food was outstanding. Great venue for a conference.

It is what it says on the tin so to speak. A nice hotel with all you want and may need. A very good location at a great price.

Additional star just because facilities, location and receptionists. From restaurant you cannot find service, knowlidge about drinks is low and food is just average. Good looking, but doesnt have taste. with these prices you could eat and drink well at the old town, and feel happy about paying for that. While writing this, that old lady havent even asked if we liked to have anything more, food or drinks. We are the only customers she has... What a disappointment. Only one more night to go.*Edit*Now after 30 mins of waiting with empty glasses and table, we bored. Still no other customers.

Hotel itself is standard although its next to a huge building site. Not the fault of the hotel but just so people are aware.Booked breakfast for the following morning. Arrived the next morning to find out, the receptionist had not booked it!Finally booked and went into the restaurant. What a rip off. Paid 45 zloty for one (£10 approxbut not worth that as very poor. Went around the corner and paid 18 zloty for a gorgeous breakfast in Jacks Bar (white rabbit).

The stay was quite good. The positive things first, near the old town, warm welcome , friendly people at the desk, good breakfast. The negative was, really old room setup which needs renovation, at least in my room one mattress was saggy, strange noise coming from the bathroom(even when light was off, electrical control cabinet?), main door was really loud creaking when opening it.

This is 3*** hotel but service like in a 4**** hotel. The children may spend hier good time. Walking distance to the old town. Garden in the middle with gym outside and fitness centre inside

The price we thought we found was half the price of the actual price, which was about 2000 NOK a night for three persons. So its a bit pricey, but very central and the staff was nice.

Well situated hotel with nice spacious air conditioned rooms, hotel bar had a very good range local beers. Very limited plug sockets in bedroom though, and coffee machine in breakfast room seemed permanently broken.

Friendly staff, clean hotel, neat bar, excellent breakfast buffet with local specialties. The location is also very nice, close to the area of main interest, but away from noise. I will definitely revisit.

Nice hotell, helpful staff. Great location when travelig to Gdansk for the christmas market. Can recommend this. 4/5 stars only because it is no 5 star hotell. No big draw backs, yet not perfect.

Great service, fantastic breakfast, large rooms, very convenient location to access the old town. Some minor concerns not worth knocking down a 🌟 are: carpets under beds/sofas werent vacuumed for ages, cant adjust AC in meeting rooms, they get really hot, water faucets in public restrooms auto turn on with high water pressure and can potentially ruin your day splashing water all over you. Would go back for sure.

Nice modern hotel. Close to the city center. With big parking. In the summer is great to enjoy breakfast in the big garden

Great price, surprisingly close to the city centre, only a couple of minutes walk literally around the corner, decent rooms, very good breakfast offering and good free wifi. much better value for money if you dont want a super fancy hotel but want something thats good value for money but much better than a hostel

Nice no-frills hotel. Note that the "24 hour food" meny is more like 14 hours menu - so dont plan on ordering a snack after nine.

Great location considering walking distance to a bunch of downtown restaurants, places for tourists, cafeterias, etc. Parking place included, breakfast offered a bit more than standard, like fresh bread, croissants, tropical fruits, frozen and fresh juices, self-made pancakes and waffles, etc. Children friendly, TV-sat in multi-languages included. Friendly staff.

So, the rooms are becoming a bit dated, but given the price I would still highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was superb, truly superb, and it is five minutes walk to Długi Targ, so there is really no reason to prioritize the more expensive hotels in the center of town. It cost about 30 złoty to ride a taxi from the train station to the hotel.Bring a power splitter, though, as there was only one outlet that was convenient to reach in the room, so if you have multiple devices charging them will be difficult without a splitter.

Great location. Free fast wifi/internet access. Carpet in the room could need some cleaning. Else ok. Good service. Nice personell. Relaxing garden behind the hotel.
