Novo Kebab Grill - Mediterranean restaurant in Turbaco, Colombia
Went for dinner about 6pm, ordered the falafel sandwich on pan pita with cold vegetables, added a bottle of soda. Total 29,000 COP. Good price, and it tasted great! I would definitely return
Really, really good food.
The food was mediocre and I’m quite sure I got food poisoning as was very ill in the night
Fast, great cost benefit ratio, fresh food and good attention. The fries are super good! Really recommend it.
Went here for take away falafel: 6 pieces for 10.000, which is a decent price if you’d ask me, especially considering the quality (not dry!of the falafel. Also the sauces were amazing. The other stuffings looked fresh as well, might go back for a wrap some day (22.000).
Delicious food. Fast service. Huge portions. What more can you ask for?
Novo fries is rly good, nothing unique but absolutely delicious, also service was lovely
Delicious, affordable, clean place Great attention I had a pork shawarma with fries, great food 💯 recommended.
This little place on the corner packs some serious flavor punch. Falafel fried to order, amazing tabulleh as a topping option - great place to start a night out!
Great food, fast and tasty. Only reason I wouldnt give 5 stars is the pice is is little more than what I think Is worth, also would love to see lamb in the menu
This place is not a tourist trap like so many other places here in Cartagena. The food is good.
Super delicious falafel plate - the veggies were super fresh and delicious as some veggies come plain and some are already seasoned. You can choose between different veggies (carrots, red cabbage, seasoned peppers etc.), sauces (garlic, tahini, harissa,...and carbs (rice, couscous, fries). Totally recommend this place. Go there instead to those fancy and overpriced touristy restaurants in Cartagena..
Really really great! In an area overcrowded with mediocre restaurants serving the same old menu, this place is a gem! The food is super reasonably priced and delicious, menu is simple and straight forward, staff is super friends and super efficient. The falafels are freshly fried to order, as they should be!
These loaded fries are amazing and the service is top notch!! It’s nice that their menu has English and they speak English too, was a nice break for us who are constantly confused! Haha!!
Muy rico!! Wow, one of the best falafel sandwiches I have ever eaten, and I had many. Super tasty. Only thing missing was the hummus - which is an extra portion, and not addable to the sandwich.
Great quick and simple place for Mediterranean. Food has good spice and the vegetables are fresh.
Quick and delicious. Some of the best chicken I had in the areaFries came out a bit oily but good
Ordered a chicken pita and had it delivered. The chicken had a good flavor but was dry. Even the sauce couldnt compensate for the dryness. Overall, its a good option for a quick bite that tastes okay and will leave you satisfied.
For a nostalgic Berliner like me, this is a perfect fusion between a kebab and a burrito. Hoping to not offend the owners…
Amazing food! Nice staff that spoke some english and had English menus. I absolutely will be back to this restaurant. I loved everything about this small restaurant.
Made to Order Gyro!Remember to ask for Hot Toppings in addition to the cold toppings and sauces, overall it was delicious.
This place is absolutely amazing! The flavor of the food is just insane and attention is always good.Recommending this to everyone I know from now 😅
Just come and try! Good location and so delicious, everything is very flavourful and fresh, they literally fried the falafel in front of you! A shame that they don’t have couscous at the moment. Service is fine, price is worthy.( not a lot of seats(for every men: you will want two!)Totally recommend!
Really delicious falafel! Great option for vegans like me. I think it’s the best falafel I’ve taste:, many tasty vegan sauses, tasty rice and a bunch of great garnitures. Highly recommended. Left me full for many hours
food was good considering its hard to find Mediterranean food in Cartagena. pretty cheap only 20 mill for a build your own but not much of a selection. not much space to sit anywhere more of a dine out place. good place if youre looking for a lot of food for cheap #backpacker
Amazing falafel. Definitely to be recommended!
An excellent place to skip the fancier side of Cartagena and just get some great food for a good price. We loved the falafel wraps, which are a great option for vegetarians and vegans in search of something satisfying. Falafels were fried to order, as were the fries, and all the toppings and sauces were awesome. A proper selection of veggies, pickles, tzatziki etc. really make the wraps awesome. The guys working there were friendly and the prices are good.
Great place with very fast service. The prices are fair and their menu is in both english and spanish. The novo fries and the kebabs are to die for! Vast variety of toppings and sauces to choose from. 100% recommended.
If you need something deferent after multiple days of the same Colombian food, eat here. The sign to the restaurant is small and we missed the first time passing by at night. Glad we turned around, food was amazing!
Best vegan food we found in Cartagena. Fresh, super tasty and filling. The staff were really nice and can understand a bit of English. The falafel are freshly made so nice and hot and crunchy. All the sauces are vegan so go nuts.We loved it so much we went twice for lunch. It’s in a really cool area as well if you are walking around San Diego.Wish it was all over Colombia. The cost is $19 Mil which was about $5.5 USD for lunch.
Quick service and tasty kebab. Meat portion is big and taste quite good! I came twice for dinner, both occasions I had take-out kebabs, my only complaint is that the second time they had just a little rice left in the rice cooker so my rice is both not enough portions and overcooked, didnt taste good.
Great food. Made fresh. Would recommend.
The food was okay. Especially the meat and the sauces. The pita had obviously been heated too much and got crispy and dry. I paid 30.000 pesos for a gyro, fries and a drink, which is definitely overpriced.
The food was good until we got a black curly hair into the salad. We complained to the staff and they ignored us and continued chating between them. Really disrespectful no one apologize for that.
I found a hair on the salad and the guy look at it when i show it to him like something normal for them. Didnt care at all.
There was one bilingual person who was clearly frustrated. He was cashiering, frying the falafel without gloves, touching his phone and fulfilling orders all without gloves and touching his nose/ face... That was disturbing to say the least. The rice was super undercooked, I couldnt eat it. Its an extra 2 mil for the wrap just a heads-up. I can appreciate the concept but it wasnt worth the 30 minutes I walked to experience this. Super underwhelming unfortunately :/
Nice but nothing special. Very expensive for tje quality you got.
Really delicious find! The menu is simple (and in Englishand has only a few options, so you know its good. I had the falafel in a pita with cabbage, tabouleh, cucumbers and tzatziki sauce with a beer. My only qualms were that I should have asked for more sauce and that the napkins did not absorb all the deliciousness that was on my hands! I would highly recommend!
Great food and service. Price is reasonable.
Very good wraps. Not what you would expect but surpasses it for sure. Great customer service. I ordered the chicken Shawarma and made the mistake of getting extra chicken. Definitely doesnt need it. Was absolutely delicious.
Great prices, authentic flavours, good owner, and delicious delicious food. You cant go wrong with their freshly cooked falafel or flavourful perfectly tender chicken.
Expensive, and the meat is not sliced from a shawarma, its just regular chicken/pork. The falafel has A LOT of coriander. Also one of the cooks was smoking an e cig in the kitchen.Overall its good, but for 19k you can do better elsewhere.
Food is very much overrated. Chicken and pork are both far too dry, and I found that both the box version and the pita versions of their kebabs were lacking flavor and were to muddled with toppings, hence lacking a set of primary flavors (couldnt they at least offer a garlicky chicken kebab and do it well? Apparently not!).What I like about this place its that it has a clean, air-conditioned space, so its a good place to get a respite from the oppressive heat, but unfortunately, the food just isnt tasty.
A great hidden spot with delicious vegetarian (falafeland non-vegetarian wraps and bowls! The service is quick and the staff is very friendly! Definitely try this place out when in Cartagena!
Its like Chipotle for kebabs. Really good. Make sure to come early as it started getting busier and busier after opening. I had the pork kebab with tebulleh and harissa sauce. If youve never had harissa sauce, its North African and basically tabasco with tomato paste. The portion size was a lot larger than what Im used to seeing in Cartagena. They speak some English here and have a dual language menu. One side note: Dont be like the American guy in line who was trying to eat here but telling them hes allergic to pork so they had to wash everything for him and it held up the line. If youre allergic to the food they serve here, go somewhere else. This is a foreign country so save your entitlement for home.
Wow! It really has amazing flavors! Totally recommended. I order by delivery. They also have spicy sauce for spicy lovers 😁
1st off the food is fresh and delicious! We ate here twice during our week long stay. The staff is amazing very accommodating and friendly. The food is super affordable and they will let you sample whatever. 5/5 would recommend.
Clean and comfortable place to eat. The staff is friendly and caring. The food is good, tasty and fine. The prices have gone up but are still fair, not cheap. I would recommend eating here.
Bloody hell.this place is amazing.very good food and fresh.friendly staff.
High quality Falafel and Kebab. The ingredients are as fresh as it gets and it’s super tasty. The portions are massive and the meat is tender and juicy unlike regular kebab places and it’s still cheap for what you get. I went there multiple times and the quality was always the same. Totally recommended.
