The Novel House Inn is a rare gem. All about the Inn is set-up with a love and an eye for details. Every room is unique and the Inn provides a lovely room for reading and a relaxing garden. Everyone there is helpful with hints on how to make your stay even better and explore the area. All superclean, too. Highly recommended.
The literature theme rooms and the whole aura of the hotel is just amazing. The location is perfect well. Breakfast coupons for Oscars cafe and morning 5 AM coffee were an added bonus.
Fantastic place to stay. It is in a great location downtown and extremely close to both the park entrance as well as the shuttle. The house is very welcoming, clean, and our hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
We had a very comfortable stay and this place is probably the best Inn in town.
Lovely and cozy! We spent a very pleasant night here and everything was great. Wonderful host and staff, snacks and tea/coffee provided, and lots of personal touches throughout the space. Would definitely stay here again!
Stay here even if you arent a reader. The location was great, theres a bus stop across the street for the free zion shuttle or if you have a car, its super close to the zion national park. The owner and staff are so caring and sweet. You can tell by all the little loving details around the inn and extra supplies they have for our use (including fresh daily lemonade and cookies-yum). Plus breakfast at Oscars is included and their portion sizes are huge. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to the area!
I would highly recommend Novel House to anyone visiting Zion. Great location, super friendly, and comfortable accommodations. We really enjoyed the themed rooms and homey feel. Close to restaurants, cafes, and the shuttle into the park.
Great hosts. Very clean. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The breakfast at Oscars, coupons included with stay, was fantastic- the best Belgium Waffle you will ever taste. No need for syrup.
We stayed at the Rudyard Kipling room in the novel house on our visit to zion and loved it.The house is very nicely decorated and very cozy and has neat little touches such as lemonade and cookies in the afternoon. The host also was very helpful and gave us excellent advice on where to get stuff for the narrows hike and what to do around zion. There was no breakfast due to covid but we got vouchers to Oscars which worked out great. Definitely will look at staying again.
The service was excelente before and upon arrival, and during our stay. This place is lovely. It has personality. Each room is named after an English writer and decorated to resemble the early to mid 1900s. There’s so many cute details everywhere you turn. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed super comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks to all the staff at the Novelhouse Inn.
Adorable home. If you love to read, the Novel House is the place for you! They have a fabulous collection of historical books as well as some more current reads. The rooms are all named after famous authors. We stayed in the Louie Lamore, which contained several of his books in the room. The room was decorated to fit the era and theme, with the exception of a TV and a mini fridge. They provided us with a breakfast voucher to a great little restaurant down the street. An easy 3 min. walk. It was very popular all day long. The owner was very friendly and served us himself.
Truly enjoyed our stay here! The host is super friendly and accommodating. The location is right in the heart of everything so you can leave your car parked and just walk to food and shops (otherwise you pay to park on the street IF you can find spaces). Spacious room, library, breakfast nook and a very nice patio area with views for morning coffee or evening drinks. Definitely recommend staying here!
The Novel House Inn is in a dream location. Just a minute walk from restaurants, shops, and the shuttle. A 20 minute walk to the park gates. The Inn is novel themed, warm, and cozy. The owner is friendly and helpful. We were given breakfast vouchers for a restaurant down the street. It was delicious!! The rooms are clean and we very much enjoyed our time at the Novel House Inn, and would stay again!
We were able to park and take the shuttle into Zion. Rooms were wonderful, themed on novels, and the breakfast and food recommendations were tremendous
Awesome place to stay. The rooms are really clean and the property is maintained very well. Our host, Ciaran, was lovely to chat with on our way out. Location to the park entrance and other attractions is very convenient. Breakfast vouchers to Oscar’s were great and the restaurant is a short walk right around the corner. If there are rooms available during your stay in Zion, definitely book here!
This is a restful oasis off the main street. The grounds are cool and shady and the house is quiet and very peaceful. There is a full library with gorgeous decore and comfortable places to lounge. Each room is named after a novelist and is decorated to match the era of the books. We stayed in the Rudyard Kipling room and it was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Also, breakfast at Oscars Restaurant was included with our stay. The owner, Kirin, is very friendly and hardworking to make sure your stay is perfect.
A beautiful inn located within walking distance of the restaurants and shops, and just a few blocks from the entrance to Zion. More importantly, the room was beautiful and clean and the bed very comfortable. The host of the inn is exceptional. He goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort during your stay, and after. He allowed us to keep our car on the property while we spent the day at Zion and offered for us to use the bathroom inside the inn upon arrival after our day in the park. My boyfriend and I arrived to the entrance of the park and realized we didnt have our annual pass with us. My boyfriend decided to walk the few blocks versus waiting for the shuttle (the shuttle stop is located just feet from the inn!). I informed the host that my boyfriend was on his way back by foot and to please ask him to call me when he arrived (I needed to tell him something and I couldnt call him directly. The host not only watched out for my boyfriend to arrive and called me immediately when he did so I can speak to him but also gave my boyfriend a ride back to the parks entrance. He is extremely welcoming, helpful and kind and takes a genuine interest in his guests and their experience. Our stay also included a delicious breakfast at Oscars Cafe. 6 stars! Highly recommend this beautiful inn and host. We loved our stay. Thank you very much for your kindness! Kathleen & Alberto
So nice to stay in an authentic B&B, steps away from all Springdale has to offer! Our days were so busy that we didnt get to enjoy visiting with the host, Ciaran, or other guests, as much as I would have liked, but its a friendly, comfortable, and quiet place to stay. The outdoor seating options are fabulous, walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and right up to the gates of Zion NP, if a mile is within your range! We absolutely loved our time in the area and already planning our trip back - well be staying in the Novel House Inn when we return!
Excellent place to stay. Like being home. Very gracious hosts! Great view! Close to everything
It’s littile late for me to write a review but I can’t miss to say few good words about this property. Me and my husband stayed here 2 weeks back. Property is located in the heart of Springldale. Park is 5 mins away. Bus stop is 2 mins away. Rooms are beautifully decorated and overall ambience is beautiful. Owner is very cooperative. We loved staying here. Enjoyed each and every bit. Especially our breakfast from oscar’s cafe and liabrary area. Thank you for having us.
Great Location, Great Host, Great accommodation. We couldnt really have asked for more. they say the place you stay sets the mood for your vacation and we really had a great start. Loved the place and would stay there again if we are in the area again. The rooms are very well kept and are nicely decorated unlike the standard rooms at big chains which have more or less the same design.
Really nice place, close to everything you need. There is a shuttle stop about 100 yards away.Clean, charming rooms, and the owner is extremely helpful and nice.Breakfast is a huge plus too
Creative theme for an Inn. We loved looking through the books in the library, though we didnt take time to read, spending most of our time in the park. The owner/host was accommodating. He even offered to get us shuttle tickets into Zion Narional Park (which is really close by). Rather than in-house breakfast, we were given vouchers to choose a meal at Oscars Cafe, which was delicious. We stayed in the Rudyard Kipling room, furnished with elephants; zebras; a lush, tulle-curtained bed, and a phone from the early 1900s. I want to stay in each of the rooms. Maybe the Jane Austen room will be next.
The most awesome bed and breakfast. Owners went beyond to assist with park info and if we needed anything at all. Highly recommend. Very clean and well maintained right in center of town. We will be back!
I visited in early 2019 but it would be shameful not to leave a review on Novel House. What a wonderful place with CS Lewis room being wonderfully unique. If it wasnt for the landlord Cieran though, I dont know how I would have made it through Zion in a timely manner. Not only that but his great wisdom if the local dining spots was amazing. I definitely recommend this to any traveler going to Zion or just to Springdale Utah.
We enjoyed our stay at the Novel House Inn. Great location, great views, great service and clean rooms. Would highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights in September 2020. The innkeeper was absolutely delightful during our stay. He was extremely helpful in regards to planning our activities in Zion. Our room was very nice (we stayed in the Rudyard Kipling room). It had a queen bed with a canopy and a twin day bed. The location to the park is outstanding. There was hot coffee ready made in the morning and they provided tickets to local restaurants for breakfast. There is great parking and restaurants are within close walking distance.
The Novel House has a great feel and is expertly decorated. The owners are very friendly.
The stay was great! I wish we booked longer but we are going back to the area and are definitely going to look there first. The location is perfect, and the owner was super accommodating and always available for whatever we needed. The room was nice and quiet and the house had character.
Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful & spacious room. Amazing area and lots to do. Cant wait to go back!
Very nice, quaint, small hotel. Walking distance from the National park shuttle
What a wonderful Inn. My son and I spent 3 great days at Zion and at the Novel House Inn. Ciaran is a great host. I would highly recommend this Inn.
Great location in the middle of town with easy Zion shuttle access, and walkable to all restaurants and shops. My wife and I stayed in the Tolstoy room which was uniquely decorated and very comfortable. Eat at Oscar’s for breakfast!
Treated like royalty! Beautiful B & B. Eating breakfast locally at Oscars was an added treat.
Fine place to stay while visiting Zion. Nice room , Dickins. Good shower, good library, great host.
Quaint retreat after a busy day at Zion. Comfy rooms plus a homey ambiance . Great price during busy season
Kieran, the host, was great and very accommodating. Our room, C.S. Lewis, was very comfortable and peaceful. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this to a friend. Happy!
Cant say enough good things about this place. Atmosphere. Location. Hospitality. Comfort. Great breakfast. Highly recommend. Im coming back ASAP!
A great place to stay. Our host was wonderful! I highly recommend staying here!
Essentially, a big house - sizeable rooms with.shag carpet and antique-y (ricketyclosets. No in room air conditioning, as fr as I can tell. Breakfast vouchers for an off-side breakfast. Nice and helpful owner. Great price for Springdale.
A beautiful place. Very welcoming with morning coffee and afternoon refreshments. Definitely recommend it.
Great place and centrally located in Springdale within a few miles of the entrance to the Zion National Park.
Truly amazing lodgings! Each room is themed to a specific author (Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, etc.). The rooms are extremely comfortable and the staff is excellent.
A great BnB. Room was beautifully furnished, room from the bedroom window was stunning and the hosts did a great job of looking after us. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone.
The rooms are homey and much nicer than a typical B&B. My stay was very comfortable and relaxed.
Such a wonderful part of our trip to Zion. We stayed in 3 different hotels throughout this trip and this was by far the best experience. Great customer service, incredibly comfortable and adorable lodgings, and fantastic location central to everything you could need in Springdale. We will definitely be staying here again during our next Zion trip!
The hosts are very helpful. The inn is a mile from the park entrance and is surrounded by restaurants and small shops. I posted the view from my room on Google maps.
Feeling at home here..What a great place to stay. Close to restaurants and shuttle service. I will come back.
Absolutely wonderful stay! We had the Bronte room- incredibly beautiful and well decorated. We were greeted by the wonderful steward who gave us the tour and meal tickets for breakfast in town. This was the best hotel Ive been to and I will definitely recommend it to anyone headed for Zion.
My husband and I stayed here in July of 2014. I rarely fill out reviews, but we both agreed that the owner of this hotel deserves a great rating! The hotel was beautiful and extremely clean. The location was perfect to being close to Zion National Park (about a 3 minute drive). Our room (the Austen Roomwas unique and had personalized touches - you could tell that the owners put a lot of heart and time into it. All of the essential hotel requirements were there, but we were blown away by the small details. The owner provided us with 2 breakfast vouchers for FREE breakfasts to delicious restaurants down the road (we got an incredible $30 breakfast for free!). He always made sure that we were content and he was willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. Cookies and lemonade were provided in the afternoon. Sometimes its the small things that count. We loved staying in such a sweet, beautiful place with such a kind owner.
