Notre Dame Square in Tan An

Nice stop by if you are visiting independence palace and central post. Great architecture and sight seeing, but visitor cant enter because of renovation.But really its still not finished until now ?

It’s a nice cathedral but nothing extraordinary esp if you have visited those in Italy and France. Built by the French. It’s busy and mass is held regularly. The stained glass is in good condition but the church exterior could do with some tlc.

Historic cathedral, and an iconic and building of Ho chi minh city. Beautiful French architecture, and theres a really clean and pretty park in front of the cathedral. As of August 2022, this building is still under renovation, and is almost completely surrounded by scaffolding. The renovation is going to last for a few more years, according to city officials.

Although its under construction, the beauty of this place is still there

Main Catholic Church in Ho Chi Minh City. It is also one of the popular landmarks in the city. We didnt get a chance to enter the church as it is under renovation. Truly a holy place to workshop and get the blessings of His Almighty.

One of the highlights in Ho Chi Minh City but when we visited it was under renovation and closed to the public. The architecture is apparently based on the real Notre Dame hence the name.

When we got there is was closed for visitation and we were on a tight schedule so we walked around and about a bit. The space outside was covered with beautiful flowers and we went around clicking pictures in the church garden.Do ask around when they would be open for visitation as we missed the stained glass windows inside.

Located in the center of Ho Chị Minh City. Its an architecture left over from the French colonial period. Walking around you can find easily others famous buildings like central Post Office and Reunification Palace (next to it. Its such a beautiful Church with red bricks. Its a must- see when you visit Ho Chi Minh city.

Although I could not go in do to a massive remodel, you can tell that it’s beautiful church

Just get back to this cinema after the re-opening, there was not crowded. Tickets for 2D films on Sunday: ~110k/ one person. If you’re lucky, you can get voucher from Zalo or MoMo. It’s more cheaper price. Enjoy😍

Beautiful cathedral in Saigon. It’s under restoration so tourists can’t get inside.English mass is at 9:30am every Sundays.

Old church and famously. Cathedral will has renovated and will come to newskin. The best place for you to take some shot or hang out with friend, family at day or night. Its near Saigon central post office, Diamond plaza, Independent palace...just e few step. The 1st you must come in Season Greeting, Chrismas, New year...

Lovely architecture and an iconic place. I only got the chance to see the outside of the Cathedral as it was closed for renovations. It is in the middle of hustle and bustle of District 1. There are few more lovely attractions around, so schedule it wisely to save some time on the road and please don’t get hit by a scooter.

The cathedral was closed when I visited. Renovation is ongoing as it is still surrounded by scaffolding. There were colorful flowers at the park in front. It is close to the Saigon Post office. Something you can not miss when you’re in Saigon!Update: the renovation seems to be almost completed!

One of the most beautiful buildings in Ho Chi Minh, if you visit HCMC please do a visit to this place. The interior and the exterior are stunning.It is located across the main post office which was also designed beautifully. In front of these 2 buildings theres a small park

When I Arrived At the Dome, It Was Still Being Renovated, So We Couldnt Go Inside Nor Go Near It. So We Tooks Photos From Far Away And Its A Pity We Couldnt Take Clear Shots Because the Road Was Blocked. It Is a Historical Site That Tourists Want To Go.

You wont have lots opportunity to come inside and see the great event in The Notre Dame. It was so lucky for myself to be chosen as one to record for this special events. I hope they will upgrade the Notre Dame more quickly so that all the friends around the world can really see the beauty of it!

When we came here we dont know that the church is under construction. We just took a photo outside the church. Theres also a locals wherein they offer to have a picture with the dove with a minimum amount. They will help you to get a good picture with the dove.

Its closed while I came to visit, since its under construction.Since this is one of Saigons landmark, I think I expect too high.But the location is good, so you can visit other Saigons landmarks by walk.

Nha Tho Duc Ba church is a symbol of Ho Chi Minh city. Many people reviewed this church, because of that I will not said anymore about this place which is very famous all over my country. In my point of view, Nha Tho Duc Ba church is not only a main church of Sai Gon Diocese but also a place of well-known pilgrimage of the Catholics.Nowadays, this church is repaired now, thats why it limited the visitors who would like to visit this famous church.Paul

It is a beautiful Cathedral. Attending dawn mass bright and early allowed me to see the Christmas lights. After mass, the full glory of the Cathedral is on display.A solemn place for Catholics.

I was really nice to walk around the cathedral the whole backside of the cathedral is undergoing reconstruction so it’s not photo genic the first fish side is not under reconstruction and you can take beautiful photos in front of it at the moment. The area around there is a really nice there’s a book walking straight and a nice park. Lots of cafés as well if you’re looking for some amazing coffee

Not a huge fan of churches, but this was really prettyOnly 4 starts because it was under renovations, so we were not able to see part of itLuckily the front part is not under renovations so you can get a good look!!

The church is majestic.It is under renovation and they were not allowing tourists/tour groups to come in.We are also tourists, but we were able to enter because we attended the english mass at 9:30AM (Sunday), which we really intended to.As an observation, it was quite easy to spot tourists who just want to go inside for the photo ops and those who are genuinely there to attend mass.

Beautiful building and good acoustic as well, even the cathedral is under renovation but on Sunday the mass is still held, at 9:30 is English mass service, it’s worth to join the mass, the choir and the building is a beautiful dan nice harmony.

Amazingly intricately, well-proportioned cathedral. One of its kind in HCMC. It is a favourite site for newly wedded couples. It is also a favourite spot for tourists, perhaps it is one of the Icon in HCMC. There are many activities around the Church as a road encircle the Cathedral making it as an island. Many trishaws ferries those who prefer to chill, and sight see on slow wheels.

It was amazing to see that church in the middle of the city. While I was there (03/2019it was under construction and I could not go inside. Though it was still impressive to see on my way to other amazing places (like the old post office across the road).

Just in front of Saigon Central Post Office, a must see Beauty. Lots of young couple doing prenup here.Better to visit early am or late pm. So hot during nooon time.

Its impressive to note that all the materials were shipped from Marseilles to build the cathedral. Unfortunately repairs and retrofitting was going on so couldnt have a look of the interiors of the space... Would have so loved to see the stained glass windows and the high vaulted ceiling. Hence a star less... But I wlwould say that its worth a visit

Nice architecture design. Its closes to Independence Palace, in the center of HCM city. This is the one of the most famous place in HCM city. Dont miss this location.

There was construction work going when I visited here mid 2019. Gate was closed that afternoon so nothing to say about its interior. The architecture resembles the Notre Dame in France, yet downscaled. Situated across the post office and within walking distance to other major tourism spots like museums. Hungry? Cross the road on the churchs left flank and get some McD burgers.

I come to this area maybe twice a month. Its good for a sit down..it might be busy but theres always a place to sit here or across the road or park 30 second walk away. This area is central Saigon and near the Opera House, walking street and book street. The cathedral is closed for renovations, but still come and sit down, drink coffee or whatever and just enjoy the area and local people enjoying themselves. This picture is from the weekend, Saturday, so will be less busy during the week or Sunday even if you choose to visit..

The classic church was temporarily closed for renovation. It is located in a square surrounded by floral garden and near an old post office where you can buy some local souvenirs. Admiring the old european architecture of both the cathedral and the post office

This place is more of a tourist attraction than place of worship. There are lots of tourist in the area and place is very crowded. It has a very beautiful interior and some parts are not available to explore. It is definitely a great place to hang around and enjoy the atmosphere. It is very close to the post office so you can visit both of them at the same time.

The cathedral is a beautiful building thats well taken care of. Both times I have seen it its been under construction. Its right by bookstreet and the Eiffel post office which is awesome and you can go inside. There is usually alot of people at the cathedral but it is still easy to photograph

I find it difficult to enjoy looking at this historical place. I came early thinking I could attend the English mass but was not allow in. As tourist and Christian we are chased away by rude and loud guards. With little known about this place, I guess the local prefer the place to remain as a worship place and not tourist attraction so Ill give this place very low score, so tourist will leave this place alone and let them have their ways withiut interruption.

The ancient building is unique with the red wall and so heautiful. it acts an icon for saigon city. Every tourist must come and see this beautiful building.Beautiful French Architecture and opposite the post office. Worth a visit.

Perfect place for visit at day and having a coffee at night ! Also need by we even have "Book Street". So you can walk in to enjoy. Highly recomemnd for going out with friend, familyPersonaly ! I like to go out here alone so I can find the inspiration for writing, and sometime picturing.

Nhà thờ Đức Bà as the Local know. It is the biggest church in Saigon, Vietnam. This church was built by the French in the colonial time. A must see for tourists in the 1st district of Saigon Vietnam . Beautiful architecture next to the biggest Postal office also built by the French in the colonial era . These are historically buildings of Saigon Vietnam . Beautiful restored and preserve.

Wow. A very beautiful building with stunning architecture. Just that it was under renovation at the time of my visit so really couldn’t get it.One of the must do sight seeing spots when in Saigon.Also very centrally locates just adjacent to the Post Office which is also a must visit.Just fascinating.

One of the largest and oldest Catholic church in Vietnam and is just around the city. A must-visit, though theres a renovation going on right now. Night view is also perfect!

I recommend the cathedral as part of your trip if you are already in the area or if you are going at the post office since its exactly infront of the post office. You could walk around Saigon and stumble upon different places and the cathedral is one of them, I still enjoyed my trip here but the cathedral was closed and Im not sure if its just during that time or if they will soon open it, I notice some construction going on so it might be that. The histoty of the cathedral is one of the reason youll visit the place.

Very beautiful French cathedral in the heart of Ho Chi Minh city. Must visit this place when you go there. Unfortunally its under construction when i was there. I dont know the inside part of the cathedral

One of the famous Land mark of the Hochiminh city.Good location near many book store and hochiminh central post office.But these day, cathedral is under construction.You can not go inside.All you can do is a taking photo outside.
