Great place to stay, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great place to relax.

Great motel have stayed there a couple of times, delicious food at the restaurant.

Spacious, very clean unit recently renovated with all the amenities youd expect at home. Have been travelling around the south island for 4 weeks and this motel would be one of my top 5 picks - good value for money. Proprietor very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for trips down to Oamaru. Booked at superior room. Sofa bed was already made up on arrival. Staff were friendly, helpful, rooms were exceptionally clean & tidy. Always enjoy staying here.

Restaurant is AMAZING, 😍 Highly recommend, Steak was cooked to perfection, prawns were so lovely and fresh beautiful homemade Kumara fries, Staff were so friendly! Very nice decor, subtle, perfect place for a function or private meal, spacious but still is very intimate, will be my go to always, Thank you to the team for a wonderful evening, even with our wee kitchen hiccup we still got our meal quick and they made up for it with a wee dinner treat!

Booked this hotel on around 10th March 2020 for staying 15-16th March 2020, unfortunately we have to cancel our trip due to covid out break, and go back to Australia early. They strictly following the rules and refused to refund. However all other hotels we booked either refunded or at least gave us credit to stay next time. Appreciated 2020 is a tough year for all of us, there still something you can do to work with your customers other than a hard no.

I loved the spacious room I was given here and the staff were really lovely. I was also pleasantly surprised by how good my restaurant meal was here. I usually dont expect much from hotel restaurants but my steak meal was very tasty and the peppercorn sauce served on the side was one of the best Ive had. There was also a good deal of it and it was enough to dip my chips in as well as my steak. Overall really good value and I hope to return.

Good amenities. Annoyances include net curtains that don’t close, shower door opens onto shower room door, expelair on time clock. Room & bath condiments were basic, but as a sleep option - perfect.

When we stayed we couldnt fault it. Outside appearance does not in still confidence. I my opionion its white an d brash looking but once you get in.. wow! Our room was fantastic. Very spacious, huge bathroom, best equipped kitchen we ever had in motel. Modern furnishings and full sky tv. Only worry would be how noisy bottle store an d restaurant would be out frount as we were there good Friday so all that was closed. Will definately consider staying there again.

This motel deserves more then 5 stars. Great tidy, very clean, spacious, modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Sky tv. Great kitchen. Helpful staff. Would happily stay here again. Cant fault the place. Excellent sized rooms, good noise insulation and most comfortable stay in the area hands down! Not to mention, bar, pokies, restaurant, beer garden and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Spent a night here at the end of the A2O trail. The rooms are well appointed but the service was lacking. No-one at reception when we arrived, told to go to the bar/ restaurant where the staff there were clueless. Meant to have complimentary shuttle but not enough staff to take us (it didnt look roadworthy anyway so probably a good thing!). Meant to get breakfast in our rooms, it never arrived despite having paid for it already. All in all very underwhelming!

Yesterday I had lunch there..I ordered the Vege salad with chips! The whole dish was ruined with an advacardo that wasnt ripe and I mean WASNT ripe it was rock hard I couldnt eat it and why the chef thought it was ok to serve it is beyond Me! the whole experience of it has put me off going there again! Too bad the chef didnt care enough!! disappointed...

I put 20 in the machines and won $200 :no luck the next day lost $80 customer service was good. didnt go there for the food so I cant say if its worth it or not. The venue is well set out and looks like a nice place to wine and dine. :)

What a fantastic place to stay. Rooms are great well set out and great price. Really friendly staff and the restaurant is wonderful. Great price and am going back again when I am in oamaru. The rooms have cooking facility and a great seperate bathroom and shower. Well worth it.

If you have a fetish for being scolded like a naughty schoolboy, then this is the place for you. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, but the staff will make you forget about any of that within twenty seconds. Youll be yelled at for asking about your room, for failing to quickly determine what kind of milk the room should have, and most regrettably, yelled at for asking how to check out when the office hasnt yet open. So, fetishists: make that booking. For anyone who enjoys service with a smile, or at least common courtesy, move along.
