80.5 acres of forested wetlands with hiking/biking trails, scenic views & wildlife sightings.
Just on the outskirts of Bangor behind all the shopping outlets this gem is to be found. The trail is very natural, meaning you walk in part over the natural obstacles like roots, leaves or stones. Other parts of the trail are.more tame or have additional attractions, like bog crossing bridges. Some of the trail is more of a steep hill, most is plain and even for the not so much agile doable. What makes this a true pearl is how close to nature you feel. From ponds to trees and rocks, everything feels very untouched and primeval. A tiny piece of paradise a stone throw away from civilization.
Beautiful.
It was a great place to go to for a hike
Great trails
Love it
Lovely woods, close enough to the shops to walk to.
It was like hiking in a stream bed with lots of roots, roots and not enough planks for muddy areas. Come prepared.
It was a good hike. Trails need to be better marked.
Great resource
Beautiful place!!
Nice place to walk and or jog.
Great place to make out
Love hiking in this area. Only negative is that some of the path is on split cedar planks that can be slippery.
Really beautiful! We were visiting from California and hiked the trail with our 2.5 year old daughter. She loved hopping off the rocks on the trail and walking on the foot bridges. We went in mid October so most if the leaves were down but there were still some really beautiful colors. Its a very easy 2mi hike but great to do with kids
A diverse landscape packed in a small area.
Very pleasant walk!
Nice trails, good place to bike, walk, or cross country ski.
Trails R Mint
Good area to do some walking and enjoy some nature
Very peaceful and pretty. WATCH FOR TICKS!!!!
Shade, sun, marsh with active wildlife...smooth paths
My wife two-year-old and I did this hike Sunday afternoon. I would love to come back with my mountain bike sometime. It looks very challenging and like lots of fun. Probably about 2 miles doing the longest loop. It is also a very scenic and rough trail.
