This was such a great place to discover on our road trip! It was a good workout to hike this trail. Was glad to get some exercise after being in a car for so long, and I would highly recommend enjoying the trails and beautiful scenic views here.

Great hike, not overcrowded and absolutely beautiful! The wildflowers were plentiful today - 5/11/19. Fabulous views of Missoula and the Canyon Ranch area.

About a five mile trail with some deep grades but not difficult. Spectacular treat are the views of North Hills and Rattlesnake Valley. Closes in a couple of days but wakes up in the Spring for glorious hikes with a wide variety of spring wild flowers.

Apparently, the trail is still closed until 1May. I was disappointed I couldnt continue on with my dog friends, but I wouldnt want to disturb any Elk, etc., who might be benefiting from the lack of humans & canines up there.
