28 Leigh St, Saint Pancras, London WC1H 9EP, Colombia
Gastropub with Victorian tiled exterior and high ceilings, serving modern English small plates.
Friendly staff, unfortunately the kitchen opens only at 6 pm.
Often been here with my friend Eric, from UCL. Always great Tapas, and good beers and wines. Glad it survived the pandemic. Happy to recommend and return!
Great range of hot & cold tapas, mostly savory but also some sweet. Freshly prepared and piping hot. Great house wines too, and friendly staff. The chickpea & tomato stew (photowas really tasty, and made with fresh chickpeas, not tinned.
Best variety of tapas Ive had in ages. Highly recommend.
We happily stumbled along this little place on a gloriously sunny day! What a find! ☺️ Fabulous little bar with super tasty tapas!
Nice food, nice drinks and nice service
Food was good and appropriate portions, but we were charged pita bread that we did not order.
Great food, beautiful venue and super friendly staff.
Great beer and tapas. Bit pricey but central London, so fair enough.
We booked a table for a birthday and when asking if they had a fridge to put the cake on the phone they said there is a £15 charge! It was too late to rebook so we paid it. They wouldnt even let us put the cake in the fridge either after paying.... We work around the corner but none of us will be going back. None of the other pubs around would charge, but they were all full when we found this out.
Delicious tapas and friendly staff! Great find near St Pancras. Will return when Im in the neighborhood.
Amazing food at a very tucked away little gem! Went on a Saturday night and got a table really quickly and all food was delicious, had a mix of mezze and tapas and everything was very tasty and original. Loved the patatas, the halloumi and the dips. Great mix of vegetarian and non veg options. Really good value too, most expensive items were the drinks.
Great experience with Spanish Tapas dishes at the London pub. Foods are awesome! Especially grilled Octopus. Staff is very professional and friendly. There are seat outside which suited to summer time. You will love there 😊
We loved the food. Unique options (at least for us from the statesbut everything was excellent! And great beers. Thanks for giving us a stop to eat, drink and relax for a bit! Great service from Pete!!!
I was running a little late but they accommodated me and the food was superb …. Had a good real ale on too
The Norfolk Arms, close to Euston station(ISH). Quiet and considered, a pub focusing on wines (sherries includedas much, or more than beers. Still, a variety of keg and a couple of casks on offer. Sweet people behind the bar, a smile always offered. An honest effort to accommodate me. Perhaps more a wine bar/restaurant in a traditional pub building. I am easily confused.
The perfect place💜Update: A few more visits in the last year and…I really have to say (again!what an amazing place this is!! Staff super nice, food really delicious, location very cozy…love it!👏🏻👏🏻
Really friendly place for excellent authentic tapas, on quiet pavement tables in the sun
Like the pub, havent tried the food yet. But looks like worth trying. Good service
Really gorgeous pub, lovely decor and the food was so incredible! Only minor complaint is that it was a bit chilly inside but soon warmed up after a glass of good white wine!
Great place for Sunday Roast!
Big fan of this place. The tapas were fabulous and the service friendly. It’s good to have a go-to place for food or drink near Kings Cross, and this is definitely mine!
Lovely food, decent service.
I try and come here whenever I make a trip into London. The food is so good, it’s a really great place to spend an hour or two eating and drinking and relaxing. Highly recommended.
Great hospitality. Authentic, tasty tapas. good value, buzzy atmosphere. Would I go back- yes.
When you know you gotta go back to try the rest of the menu
This is an absolute gem near Kings Cross.Options of either tapas or main courses. Decent selection of wine. Lovely staff and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.Really nice pumpkin risotto and crab, delicious cheese and the food was lovely and hot and tasty!!Thank you!Takes American Express.
Fantastic tapas. Great choice, absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly & remembered us from a previous visit. Would highly recommend
The standard of food and service here is simply exceptional. Atmosphere relaxed and feels like a small part of Spain 🇪🇸in London. Or at least it does if you order from the tapas menu. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely return.
Love this place! Delicious food (with plenty of veggie optionsand patient, friendly and attentive service (even on a busy Friday night). Looking forward to our next visit already...
Always a great visit! Food is excellent, would like to see some more veg options on the main menu, but can always pick a few extra tapas as well!
We shared such a good meal here yesterday, the food was incredible and I would highly recommend this hidden gem. From the outside I wasnt sure, but it really is worth heading indoors and trying their amazing tapas menu.
Booked a table at 5pm for 8pm and they were happy to have us! Managed to give us a lovely table for 2 outside and the staff were super attentive. Food is INCREDIBLE - I’ve not had tapas as good as this anywhere in London! Reasonably priced and wines are fantastic! Been 3 times in the last 6 weeks and won’t be long until we’re back! Definitely a hidden gem and well worth a visit ! Many thanks!
Walking around trying to find some late food when we spotted the Norfolk Arms. Accomodating, friendly and efficient. The Tapas style food was lovely - thank you.
Fantastic food as always. Good selection of wine and beer. Charming atmosphere, peak Bloomsbury! Friendly waiters, quick service, nothing more one could ask for!
Off the train from the New Forest tonight. Came here on a recommendation. Loved the tapas staff friendly, great sat outside in a quiet street in the middle of London... Portuguese beer on draft.... A Perfect evening!!
I’d gone here for many years with friends before moving to the States. Happy to see it hasn’t changed through lockdown. The tapas are just as good as they were on my last visit 3 years ago.
Just moved to area, very nice pub with good interior. Went for lunch, food was very well presented and generous portion size (Turkey schnitzel). Was a fairly pricey but to be expected in central London.
The perfect place for an foodie date - warm, charming surroundings and fantastic staff. The food is incredible - stunning fresh twists on classic mediteran fare. Beautiful quality tapas. Just really gorgeous food. Its pricey - but its a classy joint so its worth the treat.
A friend had been here years ago and recommended it but even she was unaware of the broad and brilliant menu. she had the tapas: each were amazing, and I had the Sunday roast beef, a very good and clean dish with a good portion size but not too large (Im a fairly big eater). The Dorset crab starter (with ginger and small amounts of fresh chilliis amazing! service was great too, will be back soon!
Go for the small plates and the good wine. On a Friday lunchtime this pub turned restaurant was busy with everything from tables for two to a group of eight. There is lovely sherry, wine, beer and the food covers great meat, fish and vegetable options. I havent tried the main meals but the vegetarian stuffed butternut squash looked incredible.
Lovely range of Tapas dishes including plenty of vegi options. Decor inside and out is interesting. Staff were friendly. Loos clean and fresh smelling. Quite quiet Monday lunchtime. Staff were friendly. Prices are ok - 4 tapas, 1 bottle house red, 2 coffees came to £60. Service is included in the price.
This is a popular cosy spot with delicious tapas. The dishes vary in size but 3 dishes (¥= up to 4is plenty. The chorizo in cider is amazing and a very generous portion size so Id really recommend that. The staff could have been a little friendlier and more on it about my nut allergy but the food won me over! The wine menu offered 4 - 5 by the glass and the rest as bottles which is pretty normal. I didnt check out the beer selection this time around but Id recommend this place for tasty treats :).
I havent been to the Norfolk Arms for a few years as theres not a great choice of beers on tap, however a friend was celebrating their Birthday there with a few drinks, so I went along. To be fair it was bank holiday Monday - so it wasnt the most atmospheric of evenings. Ive never liked the decor as the central bar and the huge till seem to dominate the room and its not very cosy. My partner and I had a sesame coated salmon fillet on top of a chick pea stew. I didnt really think that the flavours matched that well and I found the stew really salty so I didnt actually eat it. It was also expensive for the small portions that we got and the service charge that was automatically added to our bill, even though we had to go to the bar to order. Its was all very underwhelming.
Little more expensive but definitely pays of!! Delicious food, great beer, not that crowded. Place got a nice atmosphere.
Spanish dried meat dish was fantastic along with a 1664 Kronenbourg delightful
Visted for drinks after seeing a local exhibition, we picked it as it was less crowded (this Friday nightthan the other local pubs. We were served drinks but every table inside was reserved and there was no bar seating. Outside tables were taken too. Staff were a little unhelpful when we first pointed this out. Then they found a table for us for 30mins. A little pretentious, found the musical choice, e.g. demi lovato and ariana grande and oysters a little strange - but thats just me. Wouldnt recommend unless you have a reservation - a little deceptive as a local pub.
Christmas Party! Yes if you need a quiet function room. No if you want to enjoy the Christmas meal. The pub is ok... we had a party on the first floor. The stairs looks horrible... like you are in some kind old abandoned building. No music provided in the room. No wine glass!!! Christmas menu sounds quite fancy...but portions are really small! Some ordered veggies Wellington and it was a bit of a joke. It was a pastry cut in half with warmed pesto sauce on side. It could be a starter but not a main dish! Some people didnt like Christmas cake and they couldnt swap for anything else as the dishes were made to order with nothing left. The cheesecake although not much cheesecaky...was nice.We had a good time...however as a Christmas dinner for £25 - its a noooo!!!!
Nice pub that serves tapas. They have a good selection of vegetarian tapas options too. Downstairs there is the pub area, as well as having benches outside and around the pub. Upstairs they have private dining rooms. We were here for a work dinner, and had very friendly service and a lovely, big private room.
The place looks super nice and old-ish (in a classy way), as drinks - mostly wine and some comercial beers (nothing craft/local). The menu "sounds" very good, mediteranean cuisine, small plates, etc. Unfortunately, the cuisine opens after 6PM :((( so couldnt actually try any of them :(( Other than that, the 2 young Italian bartenders were nice, but not very customer oriented (mostly minding their own business and talking amongst themselves).
