Great food and great staff, even better than that the beer kept on flowing, you need to go here its a gem in the city centre. For reference my main dish was the Naga lamb from the specials. Just as you would like a Naga dish, superb flavour and great chilli heat. Will go here again on our next visit to Nottingham.

I have been to the Noor Jahan a lot of times now. The food is delicious.I would definitely recommend Lamb karrhai and Noor Jahan biryani they serve, its the best Bangladeshi / indian food I have tasted. The decor and food is authentic.The staff are polite and friendly.Great for families, friends groups whatever.

Having spent over 2 years in Australia (where we are yet to find a decent Indian restaurant), a lot was riding on the meal my husband and I made every curry comparison with; Noor is still our benchmark for excellence. Having visited with family recently, Noor Jahan didnt disappoint. Great service and the food was still amazing. The set menu for 1 is highly recommended.

Good food, great host, nice staff and affordable….ordered set meal for 1 which is good enough portion for 2 people come with any starter of your choice, main dish, side dish or naan, pilao rice and best coffee & mint as a refreshment end of the meal. Spent £16.95/- for 2 person. Highly recommended

My second visit to this lovely restaurant, and it was just as good as the first time.The staff are dressed to impress, all are very tentative and polite, cannot do enough for you.The food?Well, what can I say? Delicious 😋, it came very quickly and was perfect.I would have eaten it all, but I was too full ,we will definitely be going again.This is our second time in a month already!Next time we go, we will be introducing our friends to Noor Jahan.Exquisite!

Hidden gem!! This is the most excellent authentic Indian restaurant. We ordered the recommended specialities and were not disappointed. Everything individually cooked, absolutely delicious. The team are so kind and friendly, especially Joe!

Decent prices, the breads were nice and the staff were great. But sauces of the curries I had seemed to be 50% oil - which is a shame because the taste of the wide variety of ingredients which go into making a curry are smothered, and Ill probably have the runs...

Though the exterior of the restaurant looks a bit tired, the food and service were excellent. Prices were fair and there were no complaints from all 7 diners in our party. Nan bread was particularly good and my prawn Puri delicious. Great waiters ad well.

Exceptional food and the service is amazing. This friendly family run restaurant who focus on repeat business didnt even put the price up after lockdown. Value for money is great considering they cook everything fresh and the food quality is so good. Ive dined here for over 20 years and had many great evenings with friends and family.

An outstanding restaurant, from the decor, menu options, food quality, presentation and service.Came here for dinner whilst on a city break and Id rate this as my #1 Indian meal of my life, and perhaps in the top #3 of all meals Ive ever had.The flavour and spice balance has been utterly perfected and the portion sizes are extremely generous.Most of all, the bill only came to £20/head (for a starter, large main, 2 drinksand I genuinely felt like I was robbing the place!Bravo, outstanding restaurant indeed.

First time back at our favourite restaurant in 6 months. Amazing food as always, even if the Madras blew his face off but the Lassi worked wonders. So good to be back there.

Superb authentic Indian food. Had a fantastic meal with my wife. The best curry I have had in a long time. It is against my principles to leave a tip but I left these guys £20 as the food the service and the friendliness of the staff was second to none. I would definitely visit here again and would highly recommend you visit this 40 year business.
