Excellent food, excellent service. Really authentic Italian flavors, made me feel like I was eating my nonnas food.

My friend described this place as her favorite Italian restaurant ever, and its in PR. I went and I must agree, the food was delicious. I had the ricotta gnocchi, we shared a pizza and my partner had a lamb lasagna which was a special. We pretty much devoured everything and took very little home with us. The server we had was friendly and inviting as well. If Im ever back in San Juan Im definitely coming back here.

Amazing house wine, tartare and mushroom goat pizza. Romantic or for one beautiful room! Friendly staff and great prices!

The food was pretty good and the service as well. It was a Wednesday so it was pretty chill. It was a pretty fast service considering there was only one server.

Service attentive and relax, but the glass always full. The duck ravioli and the squib ink linguini very good. A relax and cozy place.

We are here visiting from the United States of America & were not sure what to eat. The waiter was super friendly & helpful though with finding something to eat! The food was amazing!

Service is excellent. I was really craving for squid ink pasta, so they accomodate me when I told them I only want squid for seafood.The pasta is good, but the calamari squid just didnt elevate the taste. I wished they cooked it together with the sauce. My husband had the duck ravioli, and it was super sweet.

3 stars because the service was good. The food however left quite a bit to be desired. The ravioli in particular was undercooked (I like al dente but this was actually almost crunchy and dry). And the sauce it came in was sickeningly sweet. Its supposed to be a Porto wine reduction so sweet was expected but this was jammy and so sweet it overpowered everything else.They did accomodate some special requests which we appreciated and some of the dishes were good but nothing stood out as truly great.

The "homemade" pasta was actually a pack of ramen that you find at Supermax. The pizza was very hard on the bottom almost as if it had been reheated. Those two items we got happened to be their "best sellers" recommended by the waiter. Other than the quality of the food... the service was great and so was the ambience. I dont recommend the place. I wont be going back.

Had the salad with dates and the raviolis with duck! Both plates I found delicious!!!! Service was excellent too. Waiters name was Jose.

Excelente Italian food and service at a fair price. Good selection of wines and the Tiramisu was out of this world good. First time visiting will return again.

Well, this place has some positive and negative things. Went on Saturday, service was good, they sat us, got order, brought water (didnt charge for it), got an order. For restaurant they cooked pretty fast. But!!! Talking about food... Of 3 plates - pasta with seafood, risotto with beef and duck dumplings only dumplings had flavor. They were sweet, duck had this nice flavor, was awesome. Risotto with beef for $38... guys, risotto didnt have ANY flavor... just like regular rice, but even at home a lot of people cook better than there! Risotto didnt have salt, where was parmezano? Onions? The same story with pasta... Just blaaaaa. Didnt enjoy dishes at all! Price and food quality/flavors doesnt match and for me overrated and portions are really small that a lot of people were mentioning here. So, at final, wont be back to this place, unfortunately.

One of the better restaurants that we tried! The focaccia was perfect and the Eggplant Parmesan was melt in your mouth good with an excellent marinara sauce. Dumpling with short ribs were also good but could’ve used a little more sauce or richness in the seasoning. Wine recommendations were great.

The restaurant looks amazing, it definitely has a beautiful vibe.I came to eat here twice while I was renting an Airbnb on top. My first day I had the best customer service with the best meal in the morning to start the day.My server help me pick the right meals, the right wine and and afterwards he helped me pick places to go and visit while I was in town for the Bad Bunny concert.I would honestly give this place a five out of five but the second day that I came back under a different staff everything was completely different. There was nobody when I went in there but they were such a lack of service from the beginning. That food was still amazing but I had to constantly ask the waitress for different things that she kept forgetting to bring.The pasta and the sauce are made from scratch and I do not doubt it because I saw somebody doing this in the corner of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place if youre nearby.

Very good pasta and sauces. Unique flavors. If you visit late in the afternoon or evening, ask for Pablo if you want some good cocktails.

This restaurant became # 1 place for Italian cuisine. It has a very authentic Italian atmosphere, the service was excellent. The bread as an appetizer was delicious, everything I ordered shows that it is made at the moment (homemade). I highly recommend the Ravioli Ricotta e Formaggio Di Pecora. The best restaurant in the area to eat Italian definitely this one!

I absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I always come eat here (probably about 15 times alreadyand every single time the food is amazing, and the servers are always kind and respectful. I highly recommend eating here for the most authentic Italian food on the island.Plate recommendations: eggplant, pizza, and the gnocchi.Tips: This is a small restaurant, where everything is homemade. So food may take some time to come out especially on weekends when it’s busy. If you want to avoid the crowd come early during the week days. The servers always kind and respectful, but this place is so delicious that they get rushes of people coming in. Even if it seems slow when you are currently there, you never know if there was just a rush before you came in and your server can still be trying to come down from that. Be patient, the food is sooo worth it :)Thank you Nonna’s for always providing an amazing experience ❤️

One of our favorite places to eat in PR. We have been several times and there was never a disappointment. Fresh pasta and bread. Delicious prepared from scratch menu options. You really can’t go wrong here.

I was here 6 years ago and remember that pasta sauce. I still think about it.Dont know what its called but its got stringy meat in red sauce and comes with an oil dip on the side. The waiter told me they cook it for 3 days.I live in Los Angeles now and cant get back to PR for a second try but if anyone knows what that dish is let me know. One of the best things Ive ever eaten.

Very disappointing experience. Service was slow and inattentive although they seemed to be understaffed. The soup was the only bright spot of the meal; It was delicious. The arancini was awful as was the lasagna of the day. I Ate a couple bites and couldn’t take any more. My wife had the gnocchi di ricotta and all we could taste was the Gorgonzola. There are many great restaurants in The area, save yourself the time and $ and try somewhere else.

google, please let me rate this place ZERO stars. the waiter charged us $6 for bottled water, and reading other reviews, why are all the water prices different?? scammers.The waiter said he’ll bring us bread only to say they ran out 15 minutes later. He also took our orders 15 minutes after we sat down...ridiculous. Then he came back TWICE to reiterate our orders because this genius doesn’t want to write anything down in the first place. Then it took another HOUR for the food to come. Guess what? tiny tiny tiny portions for the money being charged. I finished my food in 8 minutes because it was that little.This is the best part, my friend’s food had a rotten clam shell filled with sea dirt and gunk. WHY would you serve that to someone? The smell was so bad for the entire party that we pretty much lost our appetites. The waiter acknowledged and apologized but from his behavior, it seems like he’s seen this a thousand times before.Save your money, don’t come here unless you want to be scammed and have leaking guts the next day.

We went in and they had no bread for us. Waited around 40 mins for food. I ordered the Squid ink Pasta, and the clams had mud from the beach. The stench was enough to throw off my appetite the whole dinner. Service was ok, but food is also small portions.

Probably the best Italian we’ve tasted!! The dishes were creative and used the finest of ingredients. A quaint place with fantastic vegetarian friendly options and great service. Highly recommend the ricotta ravioli with dates and nuts, butternut squash risotto and Montepulciano. Must visit when in PR!!

The duck ravioli, the lasagna, the eggplant, and the mushroom risotto were all amazing! Excellent desserts, and the best tiramisu I’ve had in a long time! I will come back every time I’m in town. This restaurant has amazing Italian food!

My favorite restaurant in PR! I love the food!!!If you are coming from outside of Puerto Rico, you should understand that it’s a small place and you should be patient. Many customers comes thinking they are all VIP! Nope. I’m a client for years, always I have been treated with respect and great service. It has been a while since I havent visit. Food was just mind blowing. It wasnt only authentic but creative. Simply the best Ive had in a long time

Disappointed. Arrived shortly after 4pm. Went to try their lasagna house dish. They didnt have as they had run out of ingredients. Same story for a couple of other dishes. They couldnt even serve their house-made buns also for lack of ingredients. Settled for pizza, which came out burnt. Place looked nice, but that was it. Wont risk going back. My partners eggplant appetizer was very good.

My lady friend and I came here on 2/14/20 and were approached by the hostess with the option of a 4-course meal, consisting of a salad, appetizer, main course, and dessert. The arugula salad with almond-studded dates, beet, goat cheese, and mustard vinaigrette was a great starter, followed by incredible prawn & scallop + risotto, which singlehandedly might be the greatest dish I’ve ever eaten. For the main, we had perfectly-cooked medium rare ribeye steak with assorted vegetables (eggplants, carrots, zucchini, asparagus, and roasted bell peppers). Perfect ratio of veggies to steak. Every bite was delicious. A very thick choco cake, caramelized hazelnuts and vanilla gelato was for dessert and the cherry-on-top of a great Valentine’s Day dinner. $50 fixed price for each. 20% tip. Worth very penny.

Absolutely Exquisite. Perfectly cooked. Devinely flavored. Everything you could possibly immagine a great dinner to be. From the exterior the restaurant does not impress. However the aroma when you open the door removes all doubt.

Excellent place to dinner in, the datails and the great space. The attention was excellent, the waitress took her time to explain everyone of the dishes and look for our tastes.The appetizer was a type of crust stuffed with risotto, mozzarella cheese, shredded ribs and red sauce with pesto sauce. The main courses were the ravioli stuffed with e types of cheeses and the other one was the pasta with rabbit ragu sauce; great quality in each one of the courses and unique flavor.Thanks for all Nonna

We stopped here on our last night on the island and it was excellent. The service was phenomenal. We were looking over the menu and were having a difficult time choosing when our server (her name was Jansaid, "if you just want some delicious food, leave it to me", so we did.She brought us a delicious appetizer, two entrees that were unique and flavorful, and a dessert plate that had four small fantastic little treats.They have a set of menu items that are always available and at least one item from each menu section that varies each night.The atmosphere was quiet and warm with dark wood chairs and tables. Parking isnt great, but they do have a valet for $5.If youre looking for a break from the heavy, fried foods that you commonly find inPuerto Rico, give Nonna a shot.

I couldnt tell you what we "ordered" because we didnt choose any of it. Our server offered to choose for us and we happily accepted her offer. Jan was great and everything she picked was delicious. Water is about $5/bottle (maybe 1 liter bottles). We had plenty of food for 4 people and paid just over $100 before tip. My favorite may have been the Arugula & Proscuito pizza. And the Panna Cotta dessert.

Best Italian food in the area. This place is very cozy and romantic, great for date night. I have had several of the dishes at this location and they were all excellent. This place is small and is very popular. If you plan on going at peak times make sure you have a reservation as it is a popular spot with local and tourist. The servers are extremely nice and knowledgeable. The location offer valet parking at an additional cost.

We come to PR often and Nonna is always a must. Weve never been disappointed. We were there again last night. The service is always impeccable, the wine selection also great (also available by the glass). Home made bread always warm, with a dip of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and rosemary. We shared one of our favorite appetizers, the arrancini alla Siciliana, which was absolutely delicious, we were almost through when I realized I didnt take a picture! Then I had squid linguine and my husband had an amazing dish of pork wrapped with pork belly, with dates which was out of this world. For desert we always have their home made pistachio ice-cream. I dream of this ice cream. Ive never had anything near this. You must try it.

Great tasting food from start to finish. Everything is very well made and delicious; I recommend the lasagna made with lamb ragu. Its not a very saucy lasagna but thats why its so delicious and works well, in addition to the perfectly crisp edges. Service here is also pretty good.

Best Italian food Ive had! Although high dollar, the food was to die for, reasonably priced for quality, and the service was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend for a nice evening dinner!

Authentic Italian food! Great attention to customer service, prices are well justified for the quality of the food and the taste and creativity in their plates is incredible. Be sure to bring your own water bottles if you don’t want to pay $5 for the imported Italian water bottles since they don’t serve tap water.

The Arancini and the dessert were so good that I didnt have time to take pictures! Lol

They have a variety of wine choices and good prices. The risotto was okay but not what I had expected. The squash soup was really good, will definitely recommend the soup. Not a place I will go again.

If you love italian food this is the place for you. You will be in for a variety of delicious flavors that make anybodys mouth water. The service is on point and the small yet cozy ambience makes it great for a perfect date.
