Ninja Sushi Bento - Sushi restaurant in Cork, Ireland
Its seems to be close again. Maybe for good? Such a pity, the sushi was nice.
Probably the worst sushi place Ive ever been, and Ive been to a lot as I love sushi. The rice was dry and only by the smell I had to throw away 2 of my sushi as they obviously waited far too long in that open fridge. Street food doesnt mean crap food. Its an art.
I didnt have a brilliant experience in this place. I came here two times: the first one just for the ice cream and the second for a full meal. The first time I came here, the ice cream machine was broken and I waited half an hour to get my ice cream (which fortunately was really good!). When I came today, I found out that the vegetables were finished (it was just 12:30 p.m.and there was no more vegetarian-friendly condiments (my friend is vegetarian, so she could just buy a coop of noodles and some Japanese sauce, without anything else). In addition, the ice cream machine was broken again! Ive paid €7,80 for my noodles and even if they were really good, I think that they were not so tasty, without the vegetables. I wont come again, even if the food is really good. Zero organisation.
The sushi is ok-ish, not the best Ive ever had, but not the worst either, then again, I dont expect restaurant quality for this price. What REALLY bothers me though is the excessive use of plastic, this is more than unnecessary. Its handy, sure, but there are better alternatives. If theyd get rid of all the plastic (for example, by not wrapping every sushi individually and therefore removing the self - service optionit would easily be a 4 star rating (its not perfect, but again, way cheaper than restaurant sushi, so that puts it in perspective), but all this plastic just isnt sensible at all.
This place is amazing if you want really good sushi fast. The staff are also super friendly and helpful with explaining whatever sushi you dont recognise . I reccomend giving it a try if youre in cork
Super leckeres und frisches Sushi! Immer neue spacials. Das einzige Problem was ich habe: zu viel Plastik. Sonst ist alles super.
Quick take away bento and sushis. Nice range of sushis and for pre packaged were not that bad.
Excellent food on the go, really nice sushi if youre in a hurry or a curry. Well recommended!
Tasty, cozy
Bit pricy for such an average rolls. Ok as food on the go.
Worst ramen Ive ever tasted.
It probably doesnt claim to be anything other than convenience sushi , and while its certainly an alternative to McDonalds , it tarnishes what is otherwise considered a delicacy. The main downfall for me is theal massive amount of plastic waste ongoing. They sell hundreds of individual pieces of sushi, each wrapped in individual pieces of plastic. Its then given to you in plastic container for all the individual pieces! In these days, I just think it would be good for takeaways to be weary of this.
Its more a Takeaway as they only have a few seats but the Sushi looks and tastes absolutely delicious and fresh.
Great food. Lovely and knowledgable staff. The hot bento is also great and the portions are generous at a reasonable price. A great addition to Cork
Lovely bright space. Perfect for pick up and go. Theres a park just down the street to enjoy your tasty sushi.
Its a nice tiny ready to go sushi and noodle place. On a cheaper side of spectrum which is nice as theres not much place to sit.
