Unassuming strip-mall joint offering a variety of sushi rolls & Japanese plates in a mellow setting.
Pretty average sushi. Ive been a few times not the worst not the best
There are over a dozen sushi restaurants within walking distance of my apartment. This is the closest and in my opinion, it is also the best. I have never been disappointed in any I have ordered there.
Favourite sushi spot in Abbotsford. Small and quiet, very friendly staff, delicious food, and very well priced.
A great little sushi shop. The friendly service was reasonably quick, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and they offered a wide selection of rolls. We ended up coming back the next week.
Delicious sushi, fair prices, and friendly and fast service! Would recommend! Definitely underrated.
My favourite sushi restaurant ever, and Ive eaten it in many, many places! Best dynamite roles ever!
Terrible. The waitress rushed us, then literally after we finished, brought us our bill. When she came to ask us how we wanted to pay, she had a mouth full of food. Will not be going back.
Very good service and food! Amazing miso, chicken teriyaki, and rolls. Great service definitely will return. 😊🇨🇦
The taste was so delicious, the service was good, and the staff and the boss were so kind.
Always a reliable, casual sushi spot in Abbotsford of all places. Most spots this far from Vancouver tend to be subpar bit Nikko keeps up their quality.
Delicious lunch! Friendly service! The price was very affordable 😃
Best in Abby! Sea weed salad, sockeye salmon sashimi, spicy tuna roll and more! Great service too and reasonably priced.
Friendly staff. We appreciate the complimentary edamame while we wait for our meal. The seared salmon sushi roll was nice.
I was about to order for Nikko again and I realised I have never bothered to review this amazing little sushi place. First discovered it about two years ago, due to covid restrictions I have never eaten in, so this is purely about the food.Food here is fantastic, fresh and flavorful. I am not usually a big fan of maki rolls but I definitely enjoy them at Nikko. The sashimi is excellent. I have not had an item here that was not a success. This is a casual spot so not a fancy night out, but for what it is and wants to be this place hits it right over the fence.
One of my favourite places to go for lunch. Affordable prices, great portion sizes, and the food is always fresh and tasty. Lots of great choices too. Staff is friendly, service is prompt and place is quaint but always clean. Presentation is a feast for the eyes!
nice restaurant with the enthusiaatic stuff, fresh food. The place are actually small. They are good at decorate every dishes. Looks fantastic. Another thing is a couple of rolls are pretty big which hard to eat decently.
The food and service were decent—however, the online bill I received was lower than the price on the in store bill. When I inquired as to the discrepancy, they told me that they had “raised” their prices. Please note: I ordered using their website!
Been in Abbotsford for a week now and this is my favorite sushi place thus far! Amazing options, fantastic portion sizes and the prices are really good.A must stop place for sure.
Ive been to lotta sushi restaurant in abbotsford, but I would say Nikko sushi is prolly the best sushi restaurant in abbotsford. On God
So delicious! Its my best sushi restuarant so far! Good quailty of food and best serving experience. This is the restuarant that I would visit if I want to eat Japanese food!
Hands down the best sushi in Abbotsford. Their quality of raw fish is a cut above. The staff is friendly and has been accommodating to requests. I order take out here regularly, typically a few times a month and have never been disappointed with the food. Its so good that I cannot enjoy sushi anywhere else in town. Their competitors always leave me feeling disappointed in comparison. Thank you Nikko Sushi Staff! 🎉🍣
Friendly service great selection on menu extremely helpful waitressthe food is very delious and well preparedThe suggestion by our waitress was very goodLove it
Havent had such good sushi for quite a while. Flavorful, good sized portions, quick serving time. Loved the soup especially.
Nikko Sushi is awesome! The food is always fresh and delicious.Their customer service is amazing. They forgot to put a sauce on one of our rolls. I didnt even notice but they called right away to notify me that they had made a mistake and apologize. Despite me saying it was okay and that I actually hadnt noticed they insisted on making it up to me and gave me 30% off my next order.
Not worth your money! We saw the high reviews and went to order cali, Alaska, dynamite and deep fried cali rolls. None of the rolls tasted any thing like they should have. The only thing that was good was the prawn tempura. The rest we felt like throwing it all in garbage. It was all soggy and the sauce they put on the rolls tasted like an expired BBQ sauce!Def will not recommend!
Excellent sushi. Super fast and friendly service.Deducted one star because they are still using non-recyclable styrofoam containers. We would happily pay a few extra cents for biodegradable containers.
Ive never had a bad experience here. Cute little restaurant you can sit down in or have quick take-out. The best prices I have seen in Abbotsford and the sushi is very good. They have the orange spicy mayo sauce I like and the red spicy sauce (I know some places only do one or the other). Good portions on the lunch and dinner special. Cheap substitution cost, this is my favorite sushi place!
Sunomono salad was big and delicious. We were brought a sample of deep fried California roll on the house. BS II roll is great; loaded with scallops! Chicken teriyaki was large and delicious. The restaurant was clean. Our waitress kept our tea cups full. Would recommend.
The food is amazing. The best I have ever eaten for Japanese and Korean. The restaurant is very small with only 3 tables that seat 4 and 3 tables that seat 2. It was not a long wait for the 3 of us. Steady take out orders too. Wow
In my opinion, this is the best sushi in Abbotsford! Every time I have ordered from them they always give me a fried California roll, which has now become my kids favorite. It doesnt look like much if youre going to dine In, but dont be deceived. Delicious! I am also impressed with their prices. So many sushi places in town are overpriced. We ordered the platter to share between 4 of us and only spent just over $30. We will be back!
Its a really good. The most delicious food in Abbotsford.
We’ve been looking for a new sushi place since Yummy Sushi changed ownership and now we have found our new favourite sushi spot. Decent prices, fresh ingredients, short wait times despite busy floor and booming take out/pick up service, and an overall cool and cozy little place. It’s great to have a sushi place back in the dining mix.
Very good sushi. All ingredients used were fresh. I am a trucker and sushi lover. I eat sushi at many places but here price and quality is a sure match. Soft shell crab is real, not fake like other places. Highly recommended at the time of this review.
Always fresh and nicely displayed sushi. Lots of varieties of rolls and other options like noodles and Korean food. There is always a complimentary item when you dine in!
super good, one of the best sushi restaurants ive ever been to!
Was delightfully surprised at the great quality & presentation of the food for a small restaurant. Being a sushi/sashimi afacianado, really enjoyed the generous portioning & freshness of the sockeye salmon & tuna sashimi. Very reasonably priced, polite & friendly staff. Good selection on the menu. We even got a appetizer on the house. Obviously popular as the place had plenty of customers. My only reason for only 4 stars is it was not a licensed establishment. I do enjoy some sake with my sushi/sashimi. Otherwise a great little place to grab a bite.
Excellent service... I must say I was a bit surprised on entering on the small size of the location, however this wasnt a deal breaker... However I wouldnt recommend to groups of more than 4 to eat in. The staff are extremely polite and attentive, refilling water and tea as needed. I had ordered dumplings and a lunch box special which were hidden away on the last page of the menu. The food arrived in a timely fashion and during the wait the restaurant brought an appetizer (on the houseto snack on. Overall I was very happy with the service, the food and the prices. I will return and try other offerings and would recommend any Sushi and Asian cuisine lovers to give it a try.
Our favourite Sushi place in Abbotsford. The food is affordable and excellent. We enjoy the good, personal service, and hope to keep going back for more.
Gave this place a try since it looked like one of local favorite sushi restaurants. A cozy restaurant with great service (They gave us some deep fried california rolls). I believe I got a dinner set D (there were a lot more food provided than my photo e.g. assorted tempuras, miso soup, etc.and I got a lot more than I initially expected. The quality and everything was pretty good! The tempuras were nice and crispy, and the sushi quality was what one would expect from a local favorite.
Best sushi around. Very good prices and plenty of vegetarian options. Great staff! Definitely would recommend!! Great hours too! Update! Thought I would add a pic of the Veggie Combo, looks so yummy and is always fresh and for $10 bucks you get a good portion plus edamame. Converted a couple friends to Nikko now and they feel the same. A++.
I used to always eat at yummy sushi but this place has them beat. Big portions of food, great prices, free 2 pieces of volcano roll is included if you eat in :The restaurant is on the smaller side but the service more than makes up for this.
VERY good price, good, fresh sushi, huge portions, good service - def would come back again!
Good portions, great selection of rolls!
Very impressed! One of the best places I’ve ever had sushi! We had a take out meal and were surprised to find a bonus sample of sushi which mysteriously?! (Did the server hear me?was one that I had commented to my partner that it sounded really good but we didn’t order it. Turned out to be really good too.Thank u to Nikko sushi for being so awesome!
Great food. The fish is fresh and they use only wild sockeye salmon, a huge plus in my books. The staff is friendly and they serve quickly. They usually start you off with a 4 piece volcano roll, on the house. The only downside is the size of the seating area. The restaurant only accommodates 20 people at most. But take out is great too!
I stopped in here while waiting for the doctor at the clinic in the same strip mall. I had the roll combo and the spicy tuna sashimi. Wow! The taste was excellent. The rolls were about the yummiest I have ever had. The sashimi was great too, but there was not as much as you would get at somewhere like sushi California. The restaurant was clean, not very busy, and the service was fast and efficient.Overall I gave it 5 stars because even though I would not call it cheap, it was of very high quality. The ownership has changed in the past 6 months or that is what I was told, so older reviews might not be accurate.
This place was recommended by a friend when I began exploring the world of sushi. I have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly, the sushi & rolls are super-fresh and tasy, and Ive always received a treat "compliments of the chef". Tiny place to dine in, so Ive only gotten take-out, but its super-cute and unassuming.
I was introduced to this sushi joint by my ex boyfriend and Im so glad he did! The staff is super friendly, I love how they always throw in a little extra when you order, and that its quite quick for pick up! The only downside is the restaurant is quite tiny - they should definitely get more space since its such a popular place! Also the only thing I dont really enjoy on their menu is their gyoza (I normally love itbut everywhere makes it differently! The best rolls to get are the Alaska roll and my all time favourite the volcano roll (if you like a bit of spice). Otherwise you cant go wrong!
Must-go sushi restaurant in Abbotsford! Fantastic food, welcoming staff, and the whole service was amazing. Its worth trying it. I highly recommend this place!
Dropped in for lunch. The place was packed on a Monday. Right after we ordered, they gave us miso soup and complementary volcano rolls. Before we could finish our soup, our order came. Theyre really fast and great about refilling our tea and water glasses. Great for lunch as we were in and out in less than an hour! The food is fresh and delicious as always.
