Unfortunate. Went on a Friday at 3:20pm. First I ordered the miso soup. It barely had any taste and was lukewarm.Next, I ordered the salmon sashimi and an eel & avocado roll. The sashimi was alright but the eel roll was off. The sauce they used was not eel sauce which might be a choice on their part, the rice tasted like stale water, and the eel itself tasted off. The manager stated that it was not undercooked since they used previously cooked eel from a bag and then they microwave it for 30 seconds to make sure its cooked all the way. Regardless, the product I received tasted like it was either spoiled or undercooked. I did not eat more that that initial bite.I decided to order the fried pork wontons to give the hot kitchen a chance. Those were ok, but they seemed to also come from a bag with little preparation and flavor. Overall I was very disappointed and on top of this, the manager refused to refund the eel roll which I did not eat.

Really wanted to like this place. We expected good sushi on the island since so many fish are there. Our yellowtail tuna tasted completely rotten. We complained and our server said it wasnt his fault and refused to take it off our bill. (We didnt eat any of it). He then complained that we didnt tip enough, despite our service being horrible and taking 45 minutes to get 2 handrolls and 4 pieces of nigiri for over 50 dollars (2 of which we didnt eat). The restaurant was empty and we see why.

I started coming here last year. Its pretty close to where I live. Its a very casual and cozy neighborhood restaurant with polite service. Ive eaten dine in and had takeout, and both ways the food has been satisfying. The sushi is good. I really like their scallop rolls. This most recent visit I tried the red dragon roll, the California special roll, and the eel with avocado. All three were tasty, but the scallop roll was my favorite. Maybe it was the sushi chef who prepared it. Yesterday it was a different person. Maybe its just that the scallop roll is better. Ive also had the satay beef, shrimp dumplings, and hibachi chicken. All hits.FYI, checking in on Yelp gets you 1 free beer or glass of wine. Worth it. They also deliver.

I actually ordered via Doordash, and honestly no wonder the only bad reviews here are so ridiculous because the real truth is ITS AMAZING!! I got my delivery in like 20min and the prices are really great!!! My only critique would be the miso soup I got lacked a lil flavor, but my “Rollo Crujiente” was so good I literally forgot! Definitely an underrated sushi place in the metro area!

Dont know if it was a bad kitchen day for them but ordered the appetizer ribs which were cold and sort of hard, ordered hot tuna which was good with the sauce they add, ordered also 2 shrimp tempura and a salmon skin, they added the same sauce than the hot tuna for all other rolls which gave it a one note plate, no difference in what I was eating since the sauce overpowered everything, everything was covered in tempura flakes, shrimp tempura seemed like they had some shrimp that didnt sell and decided to re-fry and serve, they were overcooked and hard. Service from wait staff was good tho. Didnt return any of the items cause Im not one to be returning plates and causing scenes but was disappointed.

Ive been coming to this restaurant sonce 2014 and there is nothing bad I can say about them. Whenever I feel like eating sushi, I know they deliver great taste and quality. I highly recommend them.

DO NOT DINE HERE - before ordering i asked what sashimi was fresh and was told salmon and tuna. while the salmon was fresh it was the thinnest slice as thin as the ginger. the turn was literally a round ice cube. the maki roll was the size of a medium cigar. very sad.

My favorite sushi place in the whole world. Great variety of sushi, you should try tue churrasco or super crazy rolls they are extremely delicious.Now in Covid 19 times they’ve taken very strict measures to keep customers safe. Never seen an employee without the mask and right now everything is carry out only.Will keep visiting as I’ve done so many times in the past.

Order a sushi I have order in different restaurants however here it tastes sweet not for me my personal taste. Anyhow I ask for spicy mayo and they didn’t send it and then he said I didn’t ask for it because he would have charged me when I did in fact ask for it.He already charged me for 1 roll $13 plus $5 on delivery plus he was gonna charge for a spicy mayo? And the roll was quite small when he said it was medium size. Ended up giving $20 with the tip for the driver and it was so small and not the usual like I use to order anywhere.

Oh man! Where do I start? If an experience can be summarized in this place it would be "culture and service". The food was great, the service impeccable and it was my first time tasting sake and it tastes good. The ambiance is nice and warm. Loved it.

Great food. The sushi was delicious. The waiting time was odd. I waited 30 minutes for (4sushi rolls, however when the new customers(3 peoplecame in their orders were received within minutes, also for sushi. That was kind of sad, because the food was so good yet the service did not do too well.We had Shrimp Siu Mai, it was a small appetizer; Seaweed salad, as you’d expect it to taste- good.Edit: If the wait is the case mentioned, please inform to customers and don’t leave us with doubt. I would rather be informed and maybe suggested an appetizer than have the waiters look at us with no answer faces.

Great restaurant to eat good quality Japanese food. Highly recommended. Excellent for couples or a whole family. Employees are very attentive and kind. It is a good place to stop by and eat for a good price in a cozy place.

The place was okay, it didnt look very organized, the food was okay too, the sushi wasnt that great, the service was okay considering the place was almost empty,The soup was great!!! I will definitely come back again!

They charge "extra" for hot sauce, etc., Takeout probably means missing minor things... Boiled rice, utensils, napkins, etc. Delivery is usually prompt but..

I must give this place 5 stars. Everything was excellent. Sushi pieces (Nigiriare huge and their taste is amazing. Every piece felt very fresh. I also had the Golden Gate roll which was exquisite. The chef and the staff were very attentive and kind. Prices are competitive and I would even say lower than other Sushi places. I went on a Tuesday aftenoon and had no trouble with the parking. The place is very comfy. In summary I just loved it! Everyone reading this should visit this place now! To me is the best sushi place on the island.

Great sushi and affordable prices...The staff is polite and prompt with the service...I recommend a Sapporo beer...Wich are always super cold...I havent eaten any sushi from their menu, that was not great..The place is small and cozy so is that never crowded. It has tables for large groups, but usually there is none of this large groups. If you are close to the Domenech Ave. I recommended.

Ordered orange chicken, the sashimi combination and house lo mein. All very good (although the octopus sashimi was a bit rubbery). Sashimi was fresh and the portions were huge. Service was pretty good and prices are reasonable.

Good service, good sushi. They cover the sushi in homemade mayo though, I did not like that, next time I need to omit it. The miso soup tastes a bit bland.

I don’t enjoy making bad reviews but I was just eating there and found larvae on my seaweed salad plate. Wouldn’t recommend it. Health issues concern me.

My own hiding spot. Great service, calm ambiance, good food. I go alone every time I need a "me" time and Im always satisfied with the staff and cold beer too.

Very good sushi and service

It is a pleasant place with a good atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Ordered one of the sushi boat options and had a fill. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Love this restaurant. Its nice and quiet most of the time so its great for meetings, working or just grabing a bite. I usually order the Alaska Roll which is my favorite.

Their service is excellent. Theyre very polite and fast, the environment is cozy, sushi is affordable and very tasteful, one of the best places of sushi Ive been to. Ive been there a few times and everytime I had a great experience, the food is awesome, but they treat you so well, that you dont want to leave.

I liked their sushi. Their crazy rolls were very good. I did not love their lo-mein, however. It was very salty. Overall, all of their food was saltier than what I expected, but not salty enough to ruin it. It was good. Service was good.

Excellent carry out service; in house...great sushi and incredible quality pieces (size of shrimps, etc.). Best fried rice and/or noodles Ive had in town. Prices are alright compared to other quality chinese restaurants in town (not fast food)
