Nico's Tacos - Mexican restaurant in Pendleton, United States
Delicious food! Best tacos in town. Always quick and friendly service. I like to order tacos and enjoy them next door at 40 Taps. The guys from Nicos always deliver my food promptly whether Im waiting for a to-go order for lunch or sitting at 40 Taps with friends.
One of the best food carts in town. Right next to 40 taps, they will even deliver your plate to you while you drink at the bar. Food options are great and plentiful.
Whether youre a local or just rolling through, THIS is the place for tacos! I had a trio of pork tacos that had onions and cilantro and flavorfull pork. Im looking forward to trying their breakfast burrito . . . .
Was heading back to Boise when we made a gas stop and came across this taco truck! Definitely recommend especially the tacos de asada, the lengua was really good... chefs kissπ€
1st time stopping here on our way back home to Boise, Idaho. Taco truck was da bomb. Great food, big portions and below big city prices too. Definitely recommend. Por seguro lo recomendo.
Ive tried every Taco place in Pendleton. Nicos is by far the best, the guys are always super nice and quick. I often get a chicken burrito when Im in a rush, or a taco plate if I have time. The steak is so good and the lengua is tender and flavorful.
My girl and I thoroughly enjoy this place. Our only disappointment being when theyre out of lengua; but the breakfast burrito with langua and hot sauce is π₯π₯π₯
Was directed to eat here by coworkers. Ordered a chicken burrito. Packed with chicken and veggies. Textures were good. Red salsa was a dark chipotle style and very good. Green salsa was good and almost sweet but still had some heat. I used all of both. Service was fast. Guy at the counter was super nice.
Good, honest Mexican Food. I enjoyed the steak burrito and will make the effort to stop in again during future travels.
Friendly, fast service and My family loves the steak tacos
Excellent tacos for $2. Get the pork and chorizo. Enjoy at 40 taps next door.
There food is good.. we eat there about 3x month.. Lol
Great food, they are always friendly.
Love their food & the workers are always very kind!
Great service, delicious food, good portion sizes. This was a great family-owned taco truck to find while passing through Pendleton! I highly recommend it!
Its an okay taco shack which I didnt have an issue about the food, or the owner. Being from La Grande, in my opinion Rauls is the best π.
Dood, so good. I was hungry...a local patron recommended the burrito, so I did that. Delicious, filling, washed down with Mandarin soda... Just right!
The amount and quality of food are both astounding. Went for a couple burritos and left with an arm full. Phenomenal food at a great price.
We were rolling through Pendleton and looked online for a place to eat. Found Nicos Tacos food truck and read the positive reviews. Asked the salesman at Pendleton Wool, and he gushed about Nicos! We were sold. Believe the hype! Wife had a pork tostada, son had a chicken quesadilla, I had a Taco plate with lengua, pork, and steak. Neither my wife nor son could finish. I pushed through my meal. All was delicious, and lengua was cooked perfectly! Green sauce is amazing; red sauce is definitely hot (too hot for us!). Guys were friendly. Eating area was decent enough and comfortable, but nothing fancy. I would highly recommend! If you found this review helpful or informative, please give me a "like!"
I love this place!! The pork is out of this world! The food is always fresh, the produce is always green, and the service is out standing. Greatful to have them in our community. Nicos got me!!
Delicious! We had the steak asada tacos and asada fries. Would definitely return!
We ordered two meals and as soon as we ordered 10 people showed up which made me think this place really is good, people from all different walks walking up to his truck. The offerings are basic staples with a couple extras you dont often get through a taco truck, like sopes and asada fries. Which is pretty awesome! The two traditional taco truck sauces rojo and verde were so good, I used all three souffle cups on my meal! The guy seemed really down to earth and happy to serve his customers. If youre ever in the area try Nicos tacos! There is also a bar I believe right next door and a Filipino truck option next to his truck. Hands down it was delicious! Highly recommend
Great food as usual the red salsa is spicy and addictive!
Stopped by on my way to Idaho. Good spot to get your Mexican food craving fulfilled. Good food. Good portion size. Would come again.
great little taco truck in downtown Pendleton. tacos were awesome thought the pork was best, the chorizo was second. quick service with a smile cant wait to go back
Had the steak and pork tacos and they were both fantastic! I was surprised but I enjoyed the pork tacos best!
Had to stay the night in pendleton and decided to give this place a try. Sure glad I did it was delicious.
Huuuge burrito excellent green and red sauce. All around friendly
Their pork is the best flavored meat they make! So juicy and savory. The green salsa is so good and not too spicy. The owner is nice and accommodating.
When in doubt go to nicos. The pork is amazing. Super nice and fast service.
Best place to get food in Pendleton recommend getting the steak burrito.-Dossie Bates
Nicos has great food! Its a family favorite. The Tacos are delicious, the burritos and delicious and huge! And our son loves the quesadillas. If your hungry for great street tacos or burritos definately check out Nicos!
Nico,s is the best taco truck in Pendleton. The green sauce is bomb. One burrito at Nicos is three Taco bell burritos and you wont hate yourself.
Always providing quality & quick service. Never received an incorrect order when I call ahead of time!
Very efficient, courteous, communicative, and hospitable. Mos def goin again.
If want a amazing tacos these tacos are the best in general all the food is fabulous from there and the there green sauce is yummy also
Nice food but theyre closed half the time you go there
Love the food and the staff is great. Very friendly and fast. Good for families. It is clean and the food tastes amazing.
You cant go wrong with their pork burrito and green salsa. If you like it hot, ask for the red salsa. Caliente!!
Garbage steak; very chewy and tough, undercooked tortillas with an after taste of old or dirty grease. Would stay away until they figure out their recipes. Unfortunately, this place has many fake positive reviews, maybe they have declined or simply became lazy as a rug. Visited on May 18th, 2018.
Terrible food. Got there an hour before closing and all they had was steak burritos left. The meat was awful and burrito seemed rushed at best. Never going here again!!
So good! Got steak burritos for my husband, sister, and I and a side of carne asada fries. The burritos are decent size and really good. The fry plate was not disappointing either! Dont know if there is a menu picture yet but I took one up close so Ill post it.
Great burrito. It was huge and tasted great. The red salsa on the side tasted great and was really hot. I like hot stuff and after this I was dripping sweat. I was warned it was hot and it was. Great flavor for the chorizo. All around great stop.
We stopped in at 40 taps to have a few drinks and Nicos happened to be right next door. We ordered through the bartender and didnt have to even leave the bar. Nachos delivered for the win! They were amazing and the red sauce is definitely the boss. Nicos for the win!!!
Really good food but wish they would make better hot sauces
Great food, consistently. Their chicken is awesomely seasoned. Their hours are decent. And they are probably the fastest food you can get locally.
My first time over this food place and l can say it....good flavors and clean place
The fact you can text your order or call in is awesome and I personally love their food
Love this place! Great food, good prices! I lnow its gonna be a great night if we get to stop there.
I really love Nicos or well at least I used to. Sadly the quality of meat specifically "steak" has gone down hill. When I first began eating here a year or so back it was actual strips of meat. Now its just tiny bits and pieces kinda like I hate to say it dog food. Which Id live with if I wasnt playing roulette with will it be to salty to eat this time or not.Tonight it was just that. Again. So salty that I got instant heart burn and it was to intense to eat after two bites out of sheer hunger. It seems like (totally guessing heremaybe he makes fresh meat or the like salts while cooking adds it to the warming tray and the salt levels build up.So if youre the unlucky one to have your food made from the bottom of the warming tray you end up with a pure salt burrito.Which really made me sad to discover when I got home (live a tiny town or two awaybecause I really just didnt want to have to cook dinner as well as try and keep wicked salt induced heart burn at bay.I usually try and get chicken as Ive never had this problem with chicken. But hes out more often than not. Guessing cause people arent to keen on the "steak" anymore.Real bummer as theres not many decent food trucks around here.Guess Id just suggest saying youre out when you hit the bottom of the pan versus scraping it up or saving the insanely salty bottoms for the s#!+ faced crowd at closing time or something. But sadly I cant continue to find out if Ive wasted my money or not and will still have to figure out something to eat after buying something to eat.
