Tour was good but honestly overpriced though we had a great time hiking the sand dune and sandboarding. We wanted to have it booked ahead of time so we didnt have to spend time finding a tour once we arrived in Santa Cruz and we needed to go a little earlier to catch an afternoon flight and Nicks was able to do that for us but otherwise we probably would have found someone else due to the cost. Staff was reasonably friendly.

If you want an experience with one of the best opportunities to see jaguars then this is the trip of a life time for you. We managed to see 6 jaguars and 4 ocelots in 3 days which was a truly special experience that few other places can compete with. Nick and his staff were amazing, accommodating and had were never left wanting with food! One of the absolute highlights of Bolivia and would recommend it to any wildlife lovers

The three of us are avid and widely travelled Nature-Watchers from Germany. Nick`s Adventures organized a custom made wildlife watching trip for us. We had 16 days and visited Ka- Iya, Jaguarland, Amboro and San Miguelito. In between the different trips (with different guideswe stayed for one night at the comfortable Tryp Hotel in Santa Cruz, which was recommended and organized by Nick.The main goal of our journey was to see a Jaguar in the wild. We decided not to go to the brazilian Pantanal as we did not want to share the jaguar experience with a lot of other tourists as we had heard that normally several boats gather in front of the jaguars in the Pantanal.We were more than happy with our decision to go with Nick`s Adventures. Our highlight was the 5-day-Trip to Jaguarland, where we saw 4 Jaguars, 1 Puma, and several Ocelots. We also saw many Tapirs, Pink River Dolphins, Armadillos, Sloths and many other mammals. Caimans and Capybaras are very common as are a lot of beautiful birds (e.g. 4 different Macaws, Toco Toucans, abundant Waterbirds including Jabirus, Sungrebes and Hoatzins).In Jaguarland (not the other destinationsyou sleep in tents, but there is a kitchen and a basic shower and toilet in the middle of nowhere. You have your own cook and the lady cooked excellent food for us.All the guides and drivers were very knowledgeable and Nick himself is an impressive guy, who has a lot of interesting stories to tell about wildlife and bolivia in general. He and his team members are extremely motivated to show you the wildlife you want to see. We cannot recommend Nicks`Adventures highly enough. If you want to see South american wildlife and you do not want to go to the pantanal: This is the tour company you were looking for. They will take you to exclusive places that you can never visit on your own - and only Nick has access to this special wildlife watching place, which is called Jaguarland.

Very smooth organisation of transport to the national park. Rodrigo is a great driver and a Friendly Person. The Refuges the Volcanes Lodge is a incredible well maintained and beautiful spot.

I did a 3 day tour with Nicks Adventures and it was perfect from the first minute. The service was very professional as they were always on time, they provided us the right information on what to bring and expect, the staff was truly exceptional.Nick always made sure we get to spend as much time outside as possible. Nick’s company was outstanding. Questions were answered within an hour. All the drivers and guides were prompt in their appearance. Saul was an outstanding bird guide showing us 150 bird species. All of the accommodations were clean and comfortable and the food was of good quality and quantity. We had a good exposure to the culture and environment of eastern Bolivia. Marco our driver was very helpful taking us through the airport check in.

We took a tour to Lomas de Arena Regional Park in Santa Cruz. Our guide was amazing, you can tell he was passionate and wanted to make sure we had the best time. I would highly recommend you to book a tour with him if you want to have fun.

I reached out to Nick with a rough travel plan to see if he had tours that I could consider. While Nick’s tours didn’t work out for me as a solo traveller, he took the time out of his day to revamp my travel plan to make it more feasible. Nick is super accommodating, flexible, passionate, knowledgeable and really cares for us to have fun!we had an 8 hour layover in santa cruz before departing back home. He met us at airport, took us to get our rapid test (for USand were on our way to lamos de arena! we saw sloths, sand dunes, went to the city, got to try some of local food and finished with a delicious dinner.highly recommend!

The half-day trip to Loma de Arena from Santa Cruz was amazing. We loved Sandboarding on the sand dunes of Loma de Arena. Iver was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions and our driver did a great job and was an expert sloth spotter. All around an amazing day which we were able to spontaneously extend to visit Cotoca and see sloths (as we did not see any in Loma de Arena).Nick organized the entire trip spontaneously in the last minute and responded to our request quickly. My husband and I went on a three day Jaguar safari with Nick’s and had an incredible experience. We were hesitant to travel to Bolivia during the pandemic, but thanks to Nick’s constant contact and guidance, we felt confident taking the plunge. He helped plan our trip and responded to dozens of questions before I even booked my tour.Nick was guiding another tour the dates ours was booked. Jose, the guide assigned to us, was our favorite part of the trip! He was an extremely passionate and informative conservationist who taught us so much about the Amazon, Bolivia and beyond. We could not have asked for a better experience. We saw a huge Jaguar, millions of birds and more mammals than I knew existed in the Amazon. We just went on a 10 day trip to Bolivia with a group of 11 people of varying ages and physical capabilities. My partner and I requested some more advanced hikes to take part in and Nick personally joined our group to make it happen. He even stayed with us most of the trip to go on extra hikes we didnt even know we wanted, he took us on additional safari car rides, he took us on an evening float trip down a river, and he took us sandboarding. Nick even jumped into the river fully clothed when we got stuck - thats some major guts when there are real Caiman and piranha all over!Nick has an awesome personality that is both knowledgeable, caring, and joyful! I couldnt have asked for a better tour agency to guide us.We visited Amboro, Samaipata/El Fuerte, San Miguelito Jaguar Preserve, and Lomas De Arena. All were excellent and it makes me want to come back and see the many more national parks Bolivia has to offer. We had some unfortunate weather that was a little rainy and cool, so the animals were shy to come out, but Nick tried his hardest to make animal sitings happen. What a trip! Nicks and his team are the best agency to go in the wild!!! We had an incredible 10 days trips with them, and we highly recommend you to go with them. All the staff was super nice, the places weve been where all awesome and full of wildlife, and they were all super responsive, reliable and trustworthy. Were actually thinking to go back to Bolivia soon with them to explore other areas.During our stay, weve been to Los Volcanes, San Miguelito Lodge, Chuchini Reserve and Lomas de Arenas. All those places were very unique and worth 100% the trip. Weve spotted many many mammals (monkeys, sloths, capybara), reptiles (caimans, lezards and anaconda!), tons of birds and even an adventurous tarentula. What an epic trip! We didnt had the luck to see a jaguar but saw many footprints around and watch pictures on the camera traps.Nick and his staff are the best, clearly. Super friendly, knowledgable and passionate about the wildlife, theyve been all fantastic! They brought us at the right place at the right time (raining season).Lastly, weve been there shortly after the issue with the former president, and we had NO ISSUES at all during our expedition! Most responsible travel agent in BoliviaMy wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our extensive travel in diverse Bolivia in the middle of the political upheaval, because we were in good hands. Nick and his staff were most responsive all through our travel, before and after. He did not let us go to Salar in spite of my repeated requests. However, those who traveled under the care of other agents suffered. Nick suggested excellent trips and iconic hotels and provided reliable transport, drivers and knowledgeable guides. Nick and his team arranged a three day tour around La Paz, El Alto, Sun Island and lake Titicaca for us and we had a great time. Very interesting region, bought to life by Rodrigo our guide who has a wealth of knowledge about the history of the area and local culture.Everything was very well organised, we had boats arriving to collect us and drop us off in different places, drivers to pick us up when needed and restaurants all prearranged so we made the most of our time. Nick and his team are first rate!While planning a trip to Bolivia (initially to see the salt flats), my wife discovered the wildlife opportunity in the National Parks and found Nick’s Adventures on Trip Advisor.We arranged time in both Kaa Iya National Park as well as Uyuni. Nick and his team were very responsive to emails during the planning phase and gave good advice regarding temperature ranges we should expect and gear we’d need.All airport pickups were smooth and the hotel in Santa Cruz was great.In Kaa Iya, the enthusiasm Nick and his driver, Cesar, have for wildlife was immediately apparent. They not only have trained eyes in spotting animals from a distance, but also recognize fresh tracks when driving. Their experience paid off on night one with a Jaguar encounter! We spotted many other species while in the park; foxes, parakeets, parrots, macaws, 2 different owls, weasel, deer, tarantula, armadillo, hawks, toucans and a few different monkey species. Was a fantastic experience! Nick also accommodated our vegetarian food request. Yetsi prepared tasty meal after tasty meal with just enough avocados!Our time in the west visiting Uyuni and surrounding areas was also great. We saw a train graveyard, Rock Valley, Colored Lagoon with hundreds of flamingos, geysers with hot spring pools, and the salt flats both at night, under the stars, as well as during the day.All in all, we highly recommend Nick’s Adventures!

Went to Lomas de Arena with Nicks Adventures. Great day out on the dunes, sand boarding and walking around. There was a tonne of bird life between some of the dunes in the swamp like areas. Also just a beautiful place to be, you wouldnt think there would be something like that so close to the city, natural savannahs and all! Suitable for all ages, groups of friends and family a like.

Amazing tour agency. Our family tour package to Santa Cruz ,Sucre,Uyuni Salt Flats combined with La Paz and Madidi National Park was incredible.The transportation was always clean and drivers excellent. Guides were all amazing and lodging we used were all comfortable. The hightlight of the trip was a 5 minute Jaguar sighting in Madidi National Park.Overall an amazing experience my family will never forget. We will be back !!

The cook was new to cooking vegan food and looked up recipes online to provide vegeburgers that were much better than attempts Ive made! Also, since the eggs are fresh from their happy chickens roaming and clucking about their ranch, on the last day I had an egg - wow-wa-wee-wa!!SUMMARY: Get in on San Carlos!! Its a wonderful, unique experience. Great hosts, an informed and passionate guide, and I dont think Ive felt that my welfare and happiness has been so fussed over since I was a kid!

Travelling to Kaa Iya, Amboro and Lomas de Arena in Bolivia, my family and I had a blast and an adventure. Everything was well arranged and we could concentrate on enjoying the trips. Nick is a great guide and a good guy. He also interacted very well with our kids and made it a thrilming adventure for them as well.

I booked a single-person overnight trip to Parque Amboro and a half-day sandboarding outing to Lomas de Arenas, both outside of Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Communicative, great selection of trips to fit a wide range of interests, and I had a blast doing both activities. I sort of sucked at sandboarding but considering Ive never done it before (or any other skiing or snowboarding), I had a lot of fun. Also, Nick was my guide for Parque Amboro and I really enjoyed my time with him. His enthusiasm and passion for wildlife conservation, his knowledge, and the hikes we took were perfect and gorgeous. When I return to Bolivia, I will definitely be booking more trips with him and I recommend you do so as well, sooner rather than later with the threats that all national parks and wildlife are under.

Did the Ambora National Park, with Nick & had one of the greatest experiences while traveling through South America. He was so knowledgeable about everything & treated us so well during our whole experience. I would definitely recommend him to anyone traveling across Bolivia. 5 stars

We asked for a tour through the south part of the amboro park and instead Nick booked us the way more expensive refugio volcanos. We spent a load of money for an average stay without the hopedtour! Do not use Nicksadventuresbolivia!

Visited Kaa Iya with Nicks adventures Bolivia, we saw one puma, mokeys and tapirs, its not an easy place to visit as its very remote but an incredible experience for widlife watching.It was the best trip of my life!!!
